Why the Knowledge of the Weaving of the Threads By the Vaenen and the Alphar Is So Important For Man

In the whole work of Creation all ripening spiritual and animistic life strives for the knowledge which, together with a wider vision, always brings an ever clearer awareness of itself

In this awareness lies for the human spirit the progress and the ascent upwards to the spiritual heights, and together with this progress also that longed-for drawing near to a fully worthy harmony with the whole universe of the harmony of the work of Creation, which may be called blissful enlightenment

It can also be named a fully conscious pure joy which such an inhabitant of the work of Creation, ripened into a complete personality, may then experience in every moment

All that belongs to a stage still only developing therefore hastens towards maturity, for it is a Law given by the Holy God that only full consciousness brings the possibility of a complete union with the pulse of the work of Creation and thereby the union with the great harmony contained in the Will of God

To be permitted to live and to create in harmony with that great harmony of the work of Creation bears within itself that blissful fulfilment which comes lastingly to the human spirit in the highest degree in his true home, in the luminous gardens of the spiritual Paradise

A certain longing for a higher consciousness lies also in the soul-animistic species of the Subsequent Creation, which has its origin in the gardens of Asgard adjoining Valhalla, which itself hovers above the materialities of this Subsequent part of the work of Creation

Thus every single creature, every developing soul of the animistic and of the spiritual species which was permitted to draw near to the knowledge of the Truth feels itself thereby strengthened for a further flight upwards, for together with the knowledge of its path it gains a still stronger will to attain a blissful existence in the endless continuance of the work of Creation

Everywhere where unaffected, natural life prevails, everywhere there is found an unceasing movement striving after a still higher knowledge, after a higher consciousness of existence

It is a natural happening which all life bears within itself that maintains a connection with the higher planes, which are for it a constant inspiration and also, in their working, a strengthening and calling ideal

It is precisely the human spirit who in the Subsequent Creation is the bearer of the strongest urge towards development and ascent, in the knowing and the becoming aware of himself in relation to the work of Creation and to the Creator Himself

The human spirit comes into the planes of the Subsequent Creation in order there to know and to discern the blessing of the Will of God and all the creatures which serve this Will of God and fulfil it, so that he may gradually comprehend them ever more and draw closer to them

Thus, seeing this picture of living development in the Subsequent Creation, its observer expects as a matter of course that all those who are permitted to develop towards maturity will strive with all their forces for the constant unfolding of their knowledge of the work of Creation

He expects that it will be so here on Earth too

But what a surprise when we look upon today's world of men

Nothing of the kind do we find here, at least not if we look upon mankind as a whole

On the contrary, there are only shining exceptions which strive with living effort for progress forward in the sense of the picture described

Otherwise, in this respect, we see in the earthly world only a motionless rigidity to the point of the deadening of all the capacities of the living spirit

It is a peculiarity of today's earthly world of men that this inner liveliness has been lost here on Earth, and that without any greater sign of resistance men have let the notion be imposed upon them that ignorance about the most important matters concerning their own existence is a matter of an eternal divine mystery, that it is so willed by the Creator, and that it is not for man independently to explore the work of Creation in which it is after all given to him to live

Out of a wariness of too much independence and also of free-mindedness in individuals, there was created by many false leaders on Earth over whole millennia the picture that the knowledge of the great connections of the way upwards is forbidden to man by the will of the Light itself

That only blind obedience is willed of man by the Light, and on Earth obedience to those who stand above the individual person as his rulers and leaders

These rulers and leaders used all the means of the ingenuity of the intellect to create forms of fear that if a person becomes more independent in his search for the meaning of his existence he thereby sets out upon a wrong path and will almost certainly plunge into the depths of perdition

It was then impressed upon earthly men over centuries, chiefly by religious leaders, that they should listen only to what is set before them, and also that they should accept that one thing alone and be guided by it all their lives

Without any requirement that men should first comprehend it and could thus unite inwardly with it in spirit, all were to submit blindly to ordinances which not seldom went directly against the inner intuitive perception and the conscience of the spirit

And whole generations of men nevertheless did so, and still do so today, in the belief of a mistaken expectation that they thereby please God and that He will then make them happy inhabitants of His Creation

In reality, however, for the most part they fear the leaders or else expect earthly advantages in it

Thereby, however, many have already largely lost, without being aware of it, the capacity for independence in the movement of their spirit

It is a fearful state which surrounds the Earth

To enforce this dreadful lie all means were used, and the malevolent leaders shrank from nothing whenever they observed that some solitary spirit was awakening inwardly somewhere and longed to know for himself the Will of God, which after all manifests itself quite freely and openly in all the happening in nature and in the universe

The Truth, the knowledge of the work of Creation, were and are always offered out of the Light to everyone who strives for them honestly and with perseverance

So it is in the working out of the Light, from above downwards

Going directly against it, a great hindrance is the state here on Earth which men themselves have created through their attitude towards life and through the manner in which, in the poverty of their spirit, they experience it

The Light itself surely never hinders knowledge as men do precisely in order to keep their influence over their fellow men

Such a state stands in sharp contradiction to the whole naturalness of the Loving-Kindness of God, which furthers all that longs for knowledge and at once sends helpers for strengthening in the ascent, whether it be a matter of individuals, of nations or of the whole of mankind

Such is the true divine Law of the Creator's Love, anchored from the beginning of its coming into being into the whole work of Creation

If, therefore, something sets itself against a pure striving for knowledge, then it is certainly a matter of the hostility of men serving the darkness in enmity against the Light, for the Light itself knows nothing of the kind

The placing of hindrances in the way of knowledge never comes from the Light, but is the product of an ignoble human opinion which strives at any price that men's fellows may be governed by those who rule over them

But that has now come to an end

Some time ago this changed, and the Light streams in full power to everyone who longs to draw near to it

Now too the knowledge streams out of the Light to the Earth in the full power of a blessed bestowal, in which it brings to every spiritually alert person liberation and a way out of all that has hitherto weighed him down, bound him and thus caused only privation, sickness and suffering

Everyone can thus with ease set out for himself upon the path of knowledge, for the millennia-old curse of the darkness is defeated

It suffices only to lift one's gaze and to step out boldly upon the promised path of the knowing of the work of Creation

But what can be beheld among men is a complete paralysis

It seems that among individual people too, as a consequence of the long-lasting influence of the conditions of the darkness, a state of inner weakness and dependence has multiplied, which has passed over into a deep sleep of the spirit

Although it is possible to step out freshly forward, men either will not or cannot do so

Most often both hold together

The spirit has become motionless and contents itself with the hitherto conditions of a bare subsisting

The majority of men stand still spiritually and do not wish to be disturbed in the hypnotised state in which their spirit finds itself

In contradiction to all the capacities of receptivity and sensitivity laid into man through his gifts of the spirit, a great part of men have grown dull and deaf to the sound of the Truth

It even happens that when somewhere a human spirit does awaken, the sleeping surroundings often set themselves against him irritably and in attack, for they do not wish to be disturbed in their sleep

This attack also arises out of a subconscious sense of one's own weak insufficiency and baseness

It is a principle which for millennia on Earth has seen to it that no one among men's fellows should step out of the grey mass of unknowing mankind

Woe to him who strives for independent thinking and reflection in all the grave questions of life

At once he is attacked, he is assailed, for among the others there prevails a subconscious fear that such a person will become freer, that he will break out of the folds of the low-grounded material thinking of the majority of society, and thereby, in the liberation of his spirit, will break out of the greyness of half-consciousness in which they themselves are drowning

These happenings are a pitiful testimony to the present state of mankind

Almost everything on Earth goes directly against the very essence of the spark of spiritual origin, which is the innermost foundation of life in man

And yet every spiritual spark, laid somewhere deep within, longs in its stirring to seek and above all also to find the path which leads it to a higher consciousness of itself and of the world

It is that condition calling in man for the fulfilment of the promise of reaching the spiritual home

It is an urgent call that man should exert himself within to know, to sense intuitively and to experience everything independently, however much he thereby separates himself from the majority direction of today's mankind, which even today lives in fear of earthly death, knows nothing of its own inner past, and does not even recognise and therefore does not acknowledge the living Laws of God, to whose effects it is delivered wholly at their mercy

So that he might discover, know and joyfully receive all this, the germ of the human spirit, that is the spiritual spark, was at the beginning of its path driven out of its spiritual unconsciousness into the worlds of the Subsequent Creation by the pressure of the helping, loving working of the Light, that here on the ways of his wandering he might taste of what the pure work of Creation offers him

And in the present day the human spirit should for the greatest part have been so conscious as to recognise clearly not only the direction in which he is to go, but also the life working around him and acting as a strengthening for his ascent

The human spirit should already have been mature, creating and working in complete accord with the Laws of the work of Creation and also with all the other inhabitants, among whom belongs in great part the animistic, which has many forms and many kinds of activity so as to shape, to weave and with its radiation to glow through the planes and worlds of the Subsequent Creation

He should have known of everything in the near and the far space which surrounds him and which, through the weaving of the animistic, forms for him the conditions of life, whether here on Earth or in the planes of the ethereal division of the Subsequent Creation, into which the soul released from the earthly covering of the body must pass

If men took an earnest interest in it, if they explored with inner purity the world in which it is given to them to wander, they would gradually know of all the degrees of animistic working

Beginning with the high animistic administrators of the forces in Valhalla, on through the exalted Aesir working in the gardens of Asgard, and above all they would also know of the animistic servants nearest to them, among whom the Vaenen and the Alphar inseparably belong

Although more is now spoken of them, yet for most of the men who earnestly try to occupy themselves with the knowledge of the high animistic servants these remain distant, and thereby that glorious working which issues from their activity, whether for individuals or for whole nations on Earth, cannot be fully experienced

But now we are in a time on Earth when all these glorious servants are to be known, who are here precisely in order to help man on his path to the home of the spirit

Among those whom men ought to know very well belong precisely the Vaenen and the Alphar

The Vaenen and the Alphar are purely animistic servants called by the Grail through Valhalla for the furtherance and the ascent of the human spiritual species in the Subsequent Creation

Both the Vaenen and the Alphar are the weavers of the fate of the human spiritual on its paths in the Subsequent Creation

They are here precisely and only for the human spirit

Both kinds of faithful servants care for the human spirits, so that these may develop in the right and natural manner in the knowing of the Laws of God working in their own experiencing

The difference between these two kinds of faithful servants lies in this, that the Vaenen always spin all that issues from the volition of man, whether from his intuitive perceptions, from his thoughts or from his deeds manifested in gross matter

The Vaenen entered all the parts of the Subsequent Creation only together with the entry of the human spiritual germs, for the guarding of the spiritual on its paths lies first of all in their grave calling

The concept of guarding must however be rightly understood, for they do not guard the human spirit in his decisions, as men picture the working of angels, but they guard every stirring of his inner being in order to catch it and to weave from it a thread which leads on to the places where the hands of the Alphar take hold of it for the bringing about of the conditions which will await the human spirit on the ground of his previous volition

The guarding needs to be perceived not only from the standpoint of wakefulness towards every single flash of volition, but above all in this, that the weaving of the threads is strictly obedient to the Laws of Creation, which pour into the threads the most just judgment and thereby give them an expression which must then be woven by the hands of the Alphar as the fruits of the volition

The fruits, or also the reality which becomes part of the further wandering of the human spirit, fulfil in their forms and manifestations, down to the smallest particle, exactly that which belongs to every vibration of volition as the answer of Creation

The answer we may call the Will of God, which thereby works as the most just Law for the development of the human spirit, so that in the reciprocal effect he may taste his own volition and thereby discern the good from the evil, as is mentioned at the opening of the Bible, when at the moment in which Adam and Eve manifested a volition for knowledge they were driven out into the materialities, that here they might walk the path of knowledge

It was therefore not a divine punishment, as it is still expounded today, but on the contrary the highest grace of God, which made it possible for the spiritual germs to immerse themselves into the materialities upon the path of their development, which alone makes possible the human spirit's return to the spiritual home

And for that most highly just ordering of the paths of the ripening and the knowing of the human spirit, the Laws from God work in the web of his volition as helpers for the easy knowing, comprehending and also glowing through of the human spirit in his drawing near to the principles of the Love of God, which is the origin and also the sustainer of the whole work of Creation, from the highest heights down to its deepest parts of the dense Subsequent Creation

Thus man walks through the wondrous work of God, in which in every place and at every moment he is cared for in that a path is woven for him in advance, which in the right comprehension makes it possible for him ever more swiftly to recognise his shortcomings and also his deviations from the necessary harmony with the great Harmony of Creation

If he listens attentively and also senses intuitively in a living manner what unfolds around him, then with unprecedented swiftness he can come to the knowledge that if he himself sows a volition of goodness and of creative help, then precisely in this all the woven threads can be of assistance to him as the best helping rope leading him upwards towards the Light

Out of his own volition the Alphar weave all that thereafter draws near to man as the return of his previous volition in the times of past lives and of the further paths leading through the places of the ethereal planes

Men still know nothing essential of who the Alphar actually are

They do not know who these servants are, who should long since have been closely familiar to them, so that they might know exactly how they work for man and for his ascent on the path through the Subsequent Creation

The Alphar entered the Subsequent Creation out of the gardens of Asgard even before man, for it was they who, together with the high animistic servants of Valhalla and their hosts of the elements, shaped the ethereal and the gross material planes and worlds and all the intermediate planes which, as transitional degrees, always create the important conditions of entry for the further continuation of the human spirit, whether in the earthly body or in the soul coverings of the ethereal kind

In the beginning the Alphar created the worlds only in co-operation with the animistic servants, in such a way that out of their finer archetypes the material grew up through the hands of the animistic administrators of the elements, the Dwarfs, and thereafter also through the tending of the plants by the Elves

In the hands of the great Alphar lies also, among other things, from the beginning the key to the birth of life into the gross material world

They guide the threads which, much as when the right key unlocks a lock, act upon the finest vibrations of the gross material particles that combine into the groupings of the basic acids, exactly according to the astral archetype which serves as the pattern for the actual building of earthly life

It may be said that as the archetype of the astral degree is set beforehand by the Alphar, so in the end the gross material germ of the body adapts and develops itself, whether of a plant, of an animal, of a man, and also of all the organisms which even today's science does not know, although these work here and influence much of the happening in gross materiality

And because there is no human spirit on Earth who does not already have experience of wandering in the Subsequent Creation, it may be said that with their weaving the hands of the Vaenen and of the Alphar reflect exactly what in its foundation the development and the course of the life of the individual person will be, on the ground of his previous paths and of his volition in the past

We may even say that it holds: “As the human spirit calls into the threads of the Vaenen, so it returns to him thereafter from the hands of the Alphar, multiplied, like an echo!”

Although many men, through their hard experiencing of certain moments of life, see in it only an unjust fate, it may nevertheless be said that much, indeed almost everything of what is woven in advance by the Alphar, even for the actual portion of the gross material life, can always be changed by man with ease, indeed that here on Earth too he can by his decisions change the course of his life entirely, and this both in the direction of the good and towards the evil

Never is the will to decide in the choice of his volition taken out of man's hands

Of this the human spirits are of course aware who stand at the side of every person as his helpers and strengthen him on his path towards the Light

But alas, the dark spirits know this principle of the possible changing of the paths of fate just as well, and by whispering, or even through the earthly servants of the darkness, they influence the more hesitant spirits so that these let themselves be led away from their perhaps originally more luminous path and fetter themselves with the evil threads of the darkness

This field we may call that place of the struggle for human souls between the luminous helpers and the dark tempters who have themselves already succumbed to the principle of Lucifer

Here much of the struggle takes place, and here too the hands of the Vaenen and of the Alphar work in a helping manner, for despite the incorruptibility with which they serve the Justice of God, from time to time, at the intercession of the luminous helpers, they can weave into the path of the human spirit in the earthly body helps which bring him a way out of certain threads of fate

This help lies in the possibility of weaving in a symbolic atonement for something which they themselves, through their previous volition in an evil attunement, called into the threads of their fate

As a rule, at the intercession of the luminous, loving spiritual helpers, and under the condition of an already long-lasting good and honest volition towards the Light, such a person may be permitted to atone for otherwise graver transgressions only symbolically, in some manifestation of goodness which he may experience with fervour of intuitive perception in some moment brought into his path precisely through graciously woven threads

Thereby a perhaps otherwise very grave karmic event is then released for him out of the threads, one which would have met him later here on Earth or would have awaited him in the form of hard experiencing in the soul covering

If only men knew of this loving help of the luminous helpers, who unceasingly seek out possibilities of weaving into man's path through life, through the working of the Alphar, great opportunities for the symbolic atonement of their previous grave failings and deeds, then every morning on awakening they would turn in a quiet entreaty to these dear companions, that they might help to bring into their path as many various opportunities as possible for the manifesting of nobility of character and of goodness towards other people

They would also, with living receptivity, themselves actively seek out all the opportunities of how, in the overcoming of their own indolence, they might do something for other people, for the animals, or for the animistic servants in the world of nature

Then their life would become from the ground up filled with many glorious moments in which they would be permitted to experience ever more strongly, with direct receptivity, how with every good thought and every fresh deed of goodness they become ever more free in their nobility of character and more luminous for the further influx of power out of the heights of the Light

Not a single day would then be empty for them, for in everything they would find the higher meaning of their existence, which also truly works and labours therein for the ascent of every person who sets out upon the path of goodness

Through the refining of receptivity their spirit would also recognise how the slightest deviation from a pure attitude of thought at once forms the germs of threads which will have to be atoned for

They would regard it as a weakening of their own free power and would at once rouse themselves with their spiritual will to the vibrations of pure joy, which is the mediator to the harmony with the great choir of the Harmony of the work of Creation

There is not the least mysticism in this, nor any deviation from the Words of Truth of Jesus, if the human spirit comes in his seeking and exploring to the understanding of how gloriously he is surrounded by the servants of God, who with their animistic nature must after all form the space for the effective ordering of the manifestations of God's Love and Justice

Therefore away with the hitherto half-conscious groping in the greyness of today's nullity of knowledge

Let the knowledge of the Truth and of the Light be let into all the places of human working

And to this knowledge belongs, after all, the making clear to oneself of how God's greatness manifests itself in the life of man, from the greatest down to the smallest

All the apprehensions and fears arising only out of the ignorance in which men have hitherto kept themselves like blindly following sheep must be blown away

Into everything there needs to penetrate a fresh breath of knowledge, which brings the strength to rouse themselves even to those who have hitherto considered themselves incapable of independent movement in thought

For no one is it difficult, if only he himself wills it

Already with the first courageous decision to become a pure and good person a great quantity of forces comes to everyone, sent to him by his spiritual helpers, and the deft hands of the Alphar at once transform them into healing and into an inner experiencing of a person's own worth

Through the whole space above this Earth the Light streams, which at once brings a penetrating strengthening, if only men open themselves to this Light

It is like the turning of a key which at once opens the first door leading to the treasure of the spirit

So simple is man's setting of himself towards the good, and all the rest is then arranged by the hands of the weavers and of the helpers, who help every awakened human spirit with the immense power of their own enthusiasm and joy

And the weavers of the threads themselves also wish at last to be known by men, for for them too it is a joy and a strengthening to see a knowing human spirit who walks his path with a clear vista

They may rejoice in the shining of his flame within, whereas hitherto they perhaps wove only the sad greyness of an emptiness and inferiority of thought which is nevertheless regarded by men on Earth as the right enjoyment of life

Everything is directed only towards the experiencing of the narrow frame of one single earthly life

Can you picture what that calls forth in the weavers, who guide the threads across many lives, whether out of the past or into the future

Their hitherto aloofness from such a kind of men must have left its mark upon them, just as all the superficial, or even base and dark intuitive perceptions and thoughts necessarily touched them

Instead of their work being experienced with enthusiasm over the right development of the human spirit, which leads him to greater power, creativeness and joy, their work led and still today leads only to a complete closedness and to a mechanical fulfilling of a grave service, in which alone they can experience the high worth of the task entrusted to them by the Will of God

The exalted weavers have long experienced the need of a shift of the human spirit towards greater knowledge

This because all their helps which they hold ready for the human spiritual species must lie fallow and unused, without anything of it being able to be granted to the human spirit as a manifestation of the Love of God in Creation

Now, therefore, comes the highest time for the knowledge of these great gifts of the Creator, with which He surrounded the human spirit for his wandering through the Subsequent Creation with such Love as men will never be able to repay with their existence

Man is therefore to occupy himself with all this in a living way, to think it through and above all to experience it with his whole inner being, so that he may grasp the greatness and the wisdom of God's working in all the things appointed so that the spirit may one day become, in genuine purity, knowing of the Will of God and thereby ripe for the entry into the luminous gardens of the blessed in Paradise

Every inner movement, every thought devoted by the spirit to the knowing of the greatness and the glory of God's work of Creation is many times more precious than the best social standing and all the pleasures in the brief earthly time upon this Earth

Even if a man were to create the greatest works of human ingenuity, in their self-absorption they would be nothing beside the flash of pure joy of that soul which in the smallest happenings around it recognises the Love of God and experiences it with its whole inner being as a magnifying glorification of the Creator

The knowledge of the Love of God in the work of Creation is for the human spirit the greatest treasure which he may discover and thereafter carry over in his working to the benefit of his fellow men and of all creatures

Out of such attunements the Vaenen are enabled to weave shining threads of happiness and joy, out of which the Alphar can then weave only the bliss of a future which awaits the human soul on its further path

Everything then becomes, in joyful song, a fairy-tale path of the ascending human spirit through blissful meadows ever upwards towards the Light

A fairy-tale path it was also always meant to be for the human spirit, for so was everything originally created and prepared in the virginity of the forming of the Subsequent Creation

Truly the fairy-tale world is that which is to return again into all the parts of the Subsequent Creation, whereupon men themselves, with incomprehension, shame and disgust at themselves, will look back upon the times which even today they regard as the real world of earthman

But that is yet to come, for today anyone who with his vistas disturbs mankind in its present cares and difficulties would be mocked for this promise, or even persecuted as a dreamer and a fool

These never needed to be here, for precisely all these cares and difficulties were drawn hither by the erring thoughts and wishes of men, out of which in the end the state of today's real world had to be woven by the animistic servants

These suffocating difficulties, which in the hitherto attitude of men's thinking can never be solved, could however swiftly pass and change for the better if in knowledge at least a part of men became purer and more straightforward in their acting and thinking

With their fervent entreaties for the help of God there could gradually be mediated through the hands of the Alphar the laying aside of many pains and sicknesses, and also of natural calamities, catastrophes, famines and of the social discords and struggles arising thereafter out of them

So easily and at the same time almost miraculously swiftly could everything be set in order and calmed within a few years, provided that mankind willed it so and were also able, through its inner responsibility, to add to it its share of humility and of readiness for temperance, as well as a complete forgiveness towards its fellow men

Without these fundamental steps towards change, which together with the knowing of the Will of God are the condition for the ascent, the Vaenen and the Alphar cannot weave a better world upon this Earth

Thus it lies in the hands of every single person how strong the upheavals and the blows will have to be that come, or whether a gradual dawning above this Earth will begin even before the enforcement of this change by the power of the Light arrives together with the Ray of Parzival in the hour of the Judgment appointed by God

With every day fully experienced in the knowledge of the glorious helps that are around man, with thanks to the Creator within, we can help to lessen the measure of all the wreckage of today's world by joining on the threads that come out of the Light

All this lies in the hands of every single human spirit

To know this and not to live according to it means for man to become superfluous in this life and in the whole of his subsequent existence

The Light now calls all that lives to the highest movement in the knowing of the glory that lies in the whole of the work of Creation
