Whoever Does Not Now Awaken in Spirit Will Remain Bound to the Past

Through the universe above the earth there blows the gale of upheaving events

It is the liberating storm of the animistic kind drawing near to this small planet

The servants of Valhalla bring a mighty upsurge of all that has clung to this earth through thousands of years in the arrogant presumption of men that they may regard the earth as their property

Everything base and far from God that has multiplied here with the intent of subjugating life upon earth and of subjecting all wavering human souls to repeated temptation is now being drawn to the surface, so that it may be struck by the mighty blows of the Light

The Light also penetrates into all the threads in Subsequent Creation, so that through the radiance of the Ray of Parzival it may finally bring these threads into complete accord with the Will of God

The threads are driven towards their living out and thereby either towards liberation or towards a still deeper fall

In the power of the Light that fateful “either, or” now holds good

Thus in the end everything here upon earth too, with all happenings brought to their final fulfilment, will range itself into the vibrations of that great harmony which illumines the whole of Creation

The Love of God always works strengtheningly and harmoniously and brings the experiencing of thankful joy

The loving-kindness of God is in its enduring flowing something self-evident for the whole of Primordial Creation and also already for the majority of all the parts of Subsequent Creation

Only in these worlds of materiality, still for the present far from the glory and the fullness of peace of divine harmony, does the advancing Ray of Parzival, as the bearer of the enforcement of the Will of God, first bring, in the necessary impacts upon the darkness firmly rooted here, happenings which appear to earthmen as sudden and upheaving manifestations

The rolling wall of the animistic working of the servants of Valhalla, following close behind the Ray of Parzival which ahead of it breaks through and penetrates everything, thus enters unexpectedly and violently, for most men, into the hitherto indolent course of human life

And it will be a manifoldly stronger, and in many experiencings also swifter, fulfilment of all the threads which have been made ready by their weavers, the Alphar

Observing that even now this evokes a tension out of which there arise thought-forms that to many materially minded men in their fearfulness now appear as the inevitable coming of want, misery and great privation, one may sense how very many men will utterly collapse when the still stronger blowing of the gale out of the universe comes

For the access of this gale to the earth there has already been done by Erda herself something that this earth has not hitherto experienced

In the astral prototype the protective belts have been loosened which hitherto shielded the planet, together with all the life to be found here, from the outer influences of the radiation of the Sun of Apollo and of the other stars, which through their interventions influence the fates of all men

Therefore now, under the power of the Light of the Ray of Parzival, unexpected happenings will penetrate into life and will become a part of daily life

Across the stars there stream to man the threads guided towards him, to surprise him with all that was gathered up in them for redemption during the whole time of the existence of the human spiritual spark in the ethereal and gross material stages of its sojourning

In accelerated fashion it will begin to stream towards the earth, so as to surround every man with that which belongs to him exactly for redemption

In the wrong disposition of their thinking many will take it as a ground for reflecting that God has indeed quite turned His countenance away from this part of the universe, and above all from the life of men upon this small planet

Or also that there is no God at all, if those hardships which now descend upon men are permitted

Yet they do not think it through, that all this comes about as the natural consequence of human free will, which for thousands of years has been guided by men themselves predominantly by superficiality and by the basenesses of every possible volition and also of the realising of this volition in deeds

Solely and only through the volition of the human spirit does guilt arise, and thereby sins against the Holy Spirit

Why will men not know that for everything that happens upon this earth they alone bear the guilt, for all of it is the consequence of the wrong use of the gift of free will, with which every man is endowed by the Creator out of his spiritual essence

This volition is caught up by the hands of the Vaenen into threads which, in their kind of karmic living out, return to their originator as forms of experiencing woven once more in the Law of the Justice of God

Everything that arises out of the volition of man now returns in accelerated streaming, for under the pressure of the Light the threads describe only a short circuit compared with the earlier times of God's patient waiting for the human spirit lost in the depths of the materialities

In this time it begins to change towards an increased influx of the experiencing of returning threads just woven out of volition closely preceding them

Yet men still will not see it

Neither will they recognise that the consequences of their present superficial volition are accelerating, mingled with all that under the pressure of the Light rolls towards man out of the distant times of his past

To most men all this seems unthinkable, and they suppose it to be a matter only for narrow circles of spiritually inclined people, which they themselves are not and which they also consistently refuse for themselves

They do not admit that anything of the kind should concern them also, and only because they have forcibly pushed aside these grave reflections upon life through the manner of their material way of thinking about life

Thus they now remain ever more alone, caught in the trap of their superficiality in life

And these same men, in their intellectual narrowness and in spiritual sleep, for the most part look towards the coming of grievous events with a growing fear which circles about them without their being able to push it aside or to disperse it with their thought-will

They feel as though upon a ship which can hardly be saved and from which no meaningful escape is possible

The hosts of such men number millions, and every day they grow by others who are afraid of the future

Such, for the overwhelming part, is the thought-world of the men of today surrounding the earth

Whoever, however, lives inwardly and whose spiritual spark receives all that comes purely recognises that there comes the time of that blessed liberation promised from the Light, which is prepared for all those who are already awakened in spirit, or who will yet awaken at the last moment

The awakened spirit recognises in the coming happening a multitude of great graces which are contained in that outwardly threatening approach of the intensifying and the accelerating of all events

And here it is possible to observe with great joy that yet another portion of those still materially minded men, in their beginning awakening, already admits that all the present happening comes in an ever intensifying and accelerating movement, as though it were directed by a higher power unknown to them

But it will yet be a while before men who remain more receptive within begin to speak openly and without reserve of the fact that all that is taking place is the work of the Light, which brings into human happening a movement leading to an inward liberation such as the present generations have not known

This movement is reflected in the events which roll through the world of men as a current unmanageable by society

That is also why, at first glance, the heightened movement of the happening, evoked and intensified by the near presence of the Ray of Parzival, brings mankind in its hitherto prevailing attunement only into fear for its further days upon this earth

Yet here it surely holds good that this movement comes from the Light and out of the Wisdom of God, and therefore it necessarily brings with it at the same time a great blessing

It brings loving helps of an unprecedented kind for all who strive with fervour for goodness and purity in their lives

It brings movement of the threads into all past happenings of fate, out of which so many come into man's present as opportunities graciously granted by God for laying them aside in the experiencing of the spirit

This movement, which will yet intensify manifoldly, can and should be used by man for his own awakening and for the conscious liberation of his inner being which follows, for this movement working in all things touches his own threads of fate

It should therefore bring a joyful resolve to the work of the spirit

Men striving for purity of existence can now, in one single day, lay aside in accelerated fashion returning threads stretching thousands of years back

The laying aside of the past can come about only through a right experiencing which bears within it understanding and thereby an inward release

Right understanding will subsequently always be manifested inwardly through the voluntary carrying out of a deed of goodness

All this needs also to blaze radiantly in the spirit in the joyful experiencing of this recognition of the great Grace of God

Only therein can the untying of the past and thereby a joyful liberation be found, even if only in symbolic form

Every day now brings in this a hitherto unheard-of number of opportunities for the untying of past threads through living them out or through forgiveness, but also through the doing of good in the smallest and most natural kind of human expression

A greeting, a word of thanks, a smile, a hand extended in help, giving precedence to another, the speaking of words of understanding, an apology, warm sympathy and much else besides, as men indeed know very well, all these are now vitally important little steps towards liberation from the past, of which every one of men has an enormous quantity, like small coins that must be repaid

And yet it is nothing difficult to go thus consciously through daily life

Indeed it is the easiest thing, which with a little good will every man can manage, no matter from which of the most varied strata of society he has come

Every day brings a hundred opportunities for redemption and thereby for the untying of karmic threads that are often otherwise heavy

And it is precisely the pure inner attunement of the awakened spirit that makes it possible in a single day to pass through the miracle of liberation from so many threads of which it does not even consciously know, but which had hitherto to hang upon it as a burden not permitting it to ascend

Now, in the fresh streaming of the helping forces of the Light, the human spirit can every day, in his joyful attunement for the doing of good, rid himself of all the appendages which not long ago still necessarily hung upon his inner soul cloak in the form of karmic threads

Why do men simply not make use of this with the full power of their enthusiastic spirit

Through their genuineness in the approach to such liberating experiencing they could thus awaken to enthusiasm other inwardly pure men as well, who surely will one day have to arrive in exactly the same way at an identical approach to life if they wish to stand firm in the coming changes in the universe

Through their own awakened approach to the happening around them they could awaken others

Genuineness and also one's own pure childlikeness can work wonders in convincing others, without any need of endless philosophical discourses

A true life with one's own conviction about what is happening around man and within man, if he longs to free himself from the threads of the past, works upon others like a spring of an enlivening and wondrous kind

The inner being of men who are still inwardly alive, though outwardly asleep in spirit, quickly senses that an earnest and honourable approach to the laying aside of the past is genuine, and thereby it touches their own inner being also

Thus with joyful lightness and with song filled with thanks the present time can and should be used for cooperation with the exalted Alphar, the weavers of the threads, who bring new opportunities for ascent for every day to that man who, with an attitude of pure inner genuineness, lives and experiences all this

It is strange how many knowing men expect that something exceptional must first enter their vicinity in the form of an uncommon experience, so that only then would they seek in it an impulse for showing the vigilance of their radiant spirit

Yet they are surrounded by threads which the Alphar to be found in their vicinity weave for them unceasingly, so as to afford them, even in the smallest thing, an opportunity for a grace-filled ascent to the Light

Man is offered the ascent upwards by tiny little steps

In patience he could master them with cheerfulness and joyful song, but he waits for the moment when a wall appears before him for the surmounting of which he must expend all his strength

A grievous event always brings the necessity of a straining of all the inner forces in man, and of so very much strength that afterwards he has not enough spiritual receptivity left for that attunement of goodness

Therefore almost at the same time as he surmounts the heavy obstacle there often arise, through vexation in exhaustion, new blunders towards his fellow men, when he behaves unbecomingly, unjustly, or even in a tyrannical manner extorts some blind obedience from those close to him, merely so that he himself may have enough peacefulness for his own demanding experiencing

But of what use to him then was that surmounting of the steep wall, if in the ponderous mastering of this life-wisdom of that strong, perhaps painful experience he at once creates for himself a new debt by behaving unkindly towards someone else, who at that very moment is guilelessly brought into his path by the weavers of the threads for a further symbolic laying aside of something past

Instead of a laying aside there is thus only a new debt, which will one day have to be laid aside

Instead of a further step forward man takes only a step aside, or even a step backwards

He thus does not move even a little further, and in the expending of his inner forces he only loses part of his courage for the further happening which threatens to draw near to him from afar

So it goes round and round without end, while each one senses very clearly where his own weaknesses lie, on account of which he should become sufficiently luminous in the vigilance of his inner being, so that these may at last be transformed in daily experiencing from long-standing vices into virtues

There is here no severing of that chain of atonement which is continually joined anew by ever new blunders and by wrong conduct in the present

Yet the spirit is surrounded by the kindly arms of helpers who patiently lead it to the understanding that much can be redeemed in advance, symbolically, in the smallest expressions of inward nobility of character towards one's fellow men

Only a little inward living vigilance in intuitive sensing, and the awakened spirit could stride through all the happening described boldly and with the certainty of the recognition that in much of what now comes densely into his life in accelerated flow there is brought to him by his weavers, with loving help, an abundance of opportunities for the freeing of his spiritual inner being from ancient karmic bonds

He would discover how in the smallest expression of human understanding and of fellow feeling with others he casts off heavy weights from the past

He would recognise how the striding through life is in fact easy, strengthening and bringing to him himself a true ennoblement

Then his view of all happening would be turned about, and he could observe in it with joy and also with knowing interest that every day brings him so much loving happening

Then nothing would remain for him but, in actively throwing himself into further pure experiencing, to give thanks to the Creator and to His wise Laws, in which all this unfolds and fulfils itself

But that would mean the well-known “becoming new” and turning his view of all the happening around him about from the very foundation

Then he would no longer receive outward events as unpleasant things which he supposes he does not deserve, but every day he could transform all experience of the present into the striving to be a still more intuitive and thereby more receptive inhabitant of Creation

But here, surely, in many a man there at once swarm examples from life in which he or one of his fellow men was, in spite of all that is described above, exposed from his point of view to evident injustice and to an unjustifiable assault from his fellow men

Yes, it may certainly be so, if, however, a man can be sure that not by a single hair of his previous path could he have given cause for such a thing

If it is so also from the viewpoint of the Laws of Creation, then there has manifested in his path what we may know as the arising of new karma through the wrong application of the free will of one man upon another man

But here too the power of the burdening karmic connection of two or even more human spirits can be broken at the very beginning

This can be done precisely by the bestowing of forgiveness for the happening lived through

In the principle of the Laws of Creation forgiveness is woven as an expression of the voluntary bestowal of one's own greatness for the freedom in the development of another human spirit

It is an expression of great maturity and wisdom of the spirit if it is truly able to manifest such a thing not only outwardly in words, but also within itself, without there remaining in it even a particle of bitterness or the aftertaste of the awareness that it was harmed in something

If the spirit is truly able to experience this without a state of embitterment and of reproach towards the other arising in it even for a moment, then its own inner being was therein permitted to make an immense ascent upwards to the Light, and its coverings are thereby irradiated by the true flame of spiritual light

Something of the kind can, however, come about in a man if within him there shines a genuine joyful loving-kindness towards the Creator and towards His perfect Work, of which he is permitted to be a happy inhabitant

If within him there are already at least glimmers of such an attunement in the experiencing of his life and also towards his fellow men, then he will welcome the coming intensified happening as a time of great service to the Light, in which he can stand maturely and wisely as a beacon radiating into the distance and affording rescue to other men upon earth

Then he will intuitively sense into his deepest inwardness how everything opens for him and brings him vistas of undreamed-of changes as accompanying phenomena of the genuine freedom of the spirit

And although the outer world in its swaying threatens almost to be torn from its foundations, the spirit is permitted to perceive therein precisely how above all that vibrates purely there stands a sure protection, which guides to man the paths that in all this convey to him the hope of complete liberation

What this is, what immeasurable spiritual worth lies in it, the human spirit will appreciate only in the time when the whole earth too will be freed from all that burdens and is hostile to the Light

Only then will it stand out in new contours as a confirmation that the entering upon a trustful daily striving in the laying aside of all past threads which bound the spirit to the past was the most right thing to which he devoted all his joyful will

The blowing of the new time will bring the confirmation that all that remained too heavily burdened with the past could not unite with the changes which under the hands of the animistic servants finally formed themselves into the entire becoming luminous of Erda and of that part of the universe in which she is to be found

The whole part of this place of gross materiality in Ephesus will be raised nearer to the Light, where from the beginning it rightly ought to have belonged throughout its duration

Thereby all that does not attain by its purity to the new level will have to withdraw from this earth

It will be blown away by the happening in which the wisdom and the rightness of the decision of those will be proved who used the last opportunity of the streaming of the helping weaving of the threads in order, in fervent striving, to loose themselves from all that was past, which by its burden threatened to drag them down from the earth as it rises upwards onto the restored orbit of its original circling in the more luminous parts of Subsequent Creation

Therefore every single day should be used by the human spirit in the highest striving so that he may become more receptive for all the opportunities which now come to him in accelerated flow out of the threads formed for him in the wise and supremely just weaving of the Alphar

Through the universe there goes an earnest call of the weavers to men

The call resounds:

“Awaken and experience with all your strength purely and humbly through intuitive perception, so that you may recognise and lay aside much that still hangs upon you and that must be brought to you in the Judgment of God, in which your inner fitness will manifest automatically, whether you may be preserved further in Creation”

The threads are guided with the necessity of the Judging happening for every single spirit

At the same time there lies in them the grace-filled possibility of their being laid aside, if in all that returns to it the spirit bears within itself the living will to stand firm purely and rightly from the viewpoint of the eternal Laws of God working in Creation

Therefore upwards, to meet that which comes

In right understanding the awakened human spirit should behold in all that comes the wise working of the Will of God, which now brings liberation and ascent for this earth as well

Whoever fully turns the influx of the Light to account for his own becoming luminous and for his ennoblement will free himself from all that is past and will be permitted in joyful thanks to ascend upwards to the home of the blessed spirits

He who lets this pass by cannot expect a continuation of divine patience with the lukewarmness and the sleep of his spirit

Entangled in his own threads of fate he will be lost in the past as one useless particle for Creation, which came from the nebulae of spiritual sparks situated at the lower edge of the spiritual spheres of the Light

To be lost in the threads of the past means to be lost for ever, for only through the crushing and the dissolution of all that he has caused, including himself, can redemption come about again in the great course of Creation, if beforehand he himself did not wish to redeem it otherwise

It is therefore a thousand times better to pull oneself together and in a spiritual upsurge to ascend upwards with the other inhabitants of Creation in the joyful, conscious, common weaving of goodness and happiness

It is better to hasten forward to meet everything in joyful volition and to fill all that comes to man with luminous weaving, than to wait hesitantly until with the power of an inexorable return the past strikes upon the inner being in its temporary closedness

It is more than a thousand times better to become one who in trust in the Light and in the Grace of God strides courageously forward, than to deceive oneself for a time that God and His Laws do not exist
