Where Is Hareiars

Such is the reflection of many a reader of the pages of the Way of the Grail

Those who know something more of the High servants of animistic Valhalla and of their working ask how the power of these servants asserts itself in the present intensifying happening upon the Earth

As men occupy themselves with thoughts about the present state of society, an anxiety arises in them as to how everything will finally develop, and thereby thoughts naturally offer themselves as to when the power of the animistic kind will at last show itself visibly, as bearing within it for mankind a tangible shaping of the Will of God

Many perceive the need of such an intervention in the present development, so that the Light and the good may triumph over evil and over the darkness

Often it hovers as an urgent question demanding an answer

And because the happening upon the Earth continually intensifies, there may from time to time also sound in the inner being of a reader of the pages of the Way of the Grail the question: Where is Hareiars in today's agitated time

Whether there is bound up with this question a sigh testifying to a hidden wish that the power of this servant of Valhalla, born for battle, might at last show itself clearly to all men, or whether there is contained in this question a doubt having its germ in the critical thoughts of the intellect which lead a man to hold that such a servant as Hareiars does not after all exist, in the end this question always shows one thing only – ignorance of how everything of animistic origin works in the materialities

Of this it has already been spoken upon the pages of the Way of the Grail, precisely in connection with Hareiars

It testifies thus to the great distance of the manner of thinking of today's men from all the real happening which takes place directly around them, indeed not seldom directly in their closest surroundings

Let us now leave aside the mockery and the hostility that may be hidden in the question of those who cast doubt upon anything which has not proceeded from their own thoughts, and upon whatever does not narrowly agree with their view of the world

Expressions of mockery we find also everywhere where malice or enmity rules in men, and alas there is truly today no lack of these kinds of moods among men

Because, however, no upbuilding ever arises out of the above-mentioned attitudes of men, we can therefore calmly leave all such mocking views aside

Such people will themselves soon enough live to see the harvest of their own fruits

Let us therefore concern ourselves only with honestly reflecting people who are at the core good-natured and who mean their reflections and their questions purely and sincerely

Despite their mentioned good nature and inner endeavour, there still appears here the picture of a great insufficiency in the reflection upon how the animistic works at all

In today's time this insufficiency is omnipresent and is in reality an abiding obstacle to any mutual trust and co-operation between men and the animistic servants

For this reason, among others, we nowhere yet find here that visible co-operation of men with the animistic servants of Valhalla

Of course the exclamation holds good here: honour to all those few exceptions who know of the animistic servants and strive to sound in accord and to work together with them, for such people are today like precious stones in the barren waste rock which surrounds them far and wide

But neither is this to be any condemnation of the others who are perhaps at this moment not yet able to work together with the animistic kind, but it is only an unembellished description of the reality which rules today upon the Earth

For many of them the enlightenment will come only a little later

It may however be said that there is here almost no co-operation between men and the animistic world

And still less is there here any conscious building of the foundations of the new era of the Kingdom of God, which proceeds from this co-operation

All this is proof that even those people who occupy themselves with what is connected with supramaterial happening, or who are directly acquainted with the animistic kind of working in Creation, in fact do not know how the animistic works and how by its intervention in the finer stages of matter it forms channels, so that in the end its work may manifest itself also in the visible earthly world itself

For this reason, among others, they also know nothing of Hareiars and of his working, which today reaches so markedly into this human world upon the Earth as well

Many would like to see this mighty animistic servant fighting precisely there where for their own part they behold evil and urgently wish its lasting destruction

From that point of view it may appear to them that Hareiars is not here, or that even if he were here he does not work sufficiently for the Light, for to earthly eyes it is not to be seen at all in the outer earthly world

Thus it leads many to wavering and to doubts as to whether everything goes along the right courses, or whether anyone such as Hareiars is to be found in Valhalla at all

Foolish men

Hareiars, at the behest of Parzival, has after all already been here for some time with his host, in the nearness of this Earth

Above the Earth, and also from the standpoint of the whole work of Creation below the Earth, a battle of the most furious kind which can ever be waged between the Light and the darkness is taking place

If men were a little more receptive, waves of vibrations would have to pass through the animistic part of their covering, reflecting within them the reality of how the animistic hosts now advance along the whole front, driving all the darkness thereby into places where nothing awaits it but the collapse into itself

The density of our earthly bodies, for the most part blunted in their receptivity, allows us to perceive almost nothing of these battles

If there were here, for instance, people possessing the sensitivity which in its time was found among the people of Atlantis, who had a far greater connection with the animistic world, such people could observe and also fully live through this struggle for the planes of the world-part of Ephesus

The boundary between this world and the finer planes would grow ever smaller, and that enduring chasm would gradually close until at last it ceased to be

The inner world of the perceiving of men would gradually become, in a healthy renewal, just as real as is the world of outer gross materiality

This ability to perceive the finer happenings would cease to be looked upon as it is today, as something strange or as an illness of the soul, but on the contrary all people who had already proved these abilities of perception several times, even in the gross material manifestations of happenings, would be regarded as most highly valuable

Something such as this, which today is wholly ungraspable for the majority, would also gradually become a welcome matter of course for the human world

Only then would it also be possible to perceive all that takes place beneath the strong arms of Hareiars

There is much which is subject to the immense power of Hareiars, which brings the shattering of all that is old and also of all that is false

But this happening manifests itself otherwise than men expect

We may give here one example for all, of how Hareiars works

The more receptive people of earlier times would see clearly and comprehensibly, precisely in connection with the present time, how one of the effects of the principles of the work of this great warrior is the crushing and breaking apart of all the wrong conceptions of men about a way of life which is often, with inner pride, called an example of proven values

One of these concepts in need of fundamental renewal is the family

It concerns the family, the lineage and their important mission, when here man and woman meet in a bond for a common walking through life

These conceptions are today defended by some people as the last dam standing against the waves of modern opinions and of a human comprehension wholly torn away from the essence of life

But why it is precisely this which is broken and crushed, something which many good-natured people from their own point of view regard as very valuable and beneficial, that no one asks

The answer, however, is easy

This old ancestral view of the world is in the end, in the way in which it is understood by men, wrong, indeed it is false and distorted

The picture of today's understanding of the family, although of course in its pure foundation and in the eyes of the Creator it counts as right, is filled with a grave distortion

This distortion is the complete dragging down into merely material experiencing, where together with the high goal of the spirit there is not seldom lacking between two people a mutual love, reverence and support for the inner progress of both

A family without the simultaneous experiencing of a fervent pure love which looks towards the spiritual home is a distortion of this precious concept given by the Creator to men for their life here upon the Earth

As the foundation of the right living together of human spirits upon the Earth, the family is until now not understood in its true significance, which is inseparably bound up with the spiritual essence of man

In the living together of those who belong to a family the most important thing is always to be the radiation of harmony reflecting the accord with the whole work of Creation

The starting point of this radiation of harmony in the family, and also in the whole of society, is precisely the woman, appointed as its mediator through the abilities bestowed upon her for this by God

In the family, as it is today thus revered by many people and also, in essence rightly, regarded as the basic building stone of society, it is precisely this task of the woman which is still put in a secondary place

The task of the woman is dragged down from its precious spiritual worth either to that of the one who keeps the household running, of the mother and carer of the children, or perhaps of a charming little animal for play, instead of her being honoured in the first place as the bearer of a pure spiritual radiance and wisdom within the circle of every family hearth

Today's woman is thus either the maidservant of the family, or on the contrary, in her striving to equal the man in social standing, she departs still further from her spiritual task and from a queen of delicate intuitive perception becomes a mannish woman

In this present-day fulfilment of the family the understanding of the concept of a “cosy family home” is therefore in the end only a distorting caricature of what this home should truly look like

It goes against the nature of the task of womanhood in all the rest of the work of Creation

Instead of a strengthening towards the spiritual goal, everything material is here asserted in every respect

It is a crushing sight, this present-day fulfilment of the concept of the family

Therefore Hareiars strikes in attack into this dam, outwardly precious in the view of men and for many people also seemingly the last one before the flood of onrolling dissolution

Outwardly it seems to go against itself, but within it is easily comprehensible

However true it is that the family is the foundation of the building for the new age, there is here today a wholly fundamental obstacle in the failure to understand the task of womanhood upon this Earth

Thereby the family itself, as the fundamental pillar of all building, is also as a whole wrongly understood

So that this building may begin, a reshaping of the basic understanding of the meaning of human life upon the Earth is needful

The spiritual goal stands therein in the first place, for the woman as for the man and also for the children

This goal, with its gift of an enduring influx of worth into life, lies aside

And therein lies the painful place, precisely in the relationships between those who form a family

In general it is so also in all relationships between man and woman

There still remains here a heavy superficiality, a lack of understanding, and often contempt and coarseness on the part of the man towards the woman in her finer task, which rests in the need to intuit that which is truly important for all the members of the family

This important element is pure love, which watches over honourableness and knightly genuineness in the thinking and acting of the man

In reality, however, there is far more which leads gradually to the true knowledge of the Creator

And precisely therein many a man is alas an obstacle to the unfolding of the intuitive perceiving of the woman

By his attitude he not seldom tramples clumsily upon the inward needs of the inner attunement of the woman and upon the fervent pure prayer which springs from it

By marriage the woman does not become his maidservant, however he may perhaps have seen it so with his parents and grandparents

If the man beholds the woman thus, there lies therein on his part a fundamental share in the fall of today's family

Among other things it also testifies to a lack of intuitive perception and of loving-kindness on the part of the man towards the woman, who would otherwise surely honour his wife at his side above all else and would regard her quite differently from what is today the general custom in the family

But equally the thinking of today's woman in the family has long lain far too low for womanhood to be able to be honoured as a royal task bringing the fulfilment of pure virtues in the first place

Through her interests and her conceptions of self-assertion the woman has become the plaything of countless side currents which lead her away from her real task, which is the mediating of a knowledge-filled, that is, a wise fullness of peace for this world

If the woman does not walk towards this high spiritual goal, then in the end she herself fails in everything and in her task is equal to the man and to his coarseness

Thereby every relationship then suffers which is afterwards held together only upon the basis of homogeneity in some low aims, or merely out of inertia, for the sake of the children, for property and for many other reasons besides

That, however, is not in the least the forming of a family, which is to fulfil the high task of spiritual striving towards the Light

“With thee upwards towards the Light” – thus is the vow ever to sound above all those who have joined together in this life for a common path

The path is to be directed only upwards, towards ascent and towards the recognition of new vistas of how to draw nearer to God and to the whole harmony resting in His work

The uplifting fulfilment of the relationship between man and woman is the sorest place, the reason why the building of the spiritual kind does not succeed here upon the Earth

A common goal of the spiritual kind could be, and also should be, that which leads to an enduring experiencing of loving-kindness between two people

Now, therefore, it is more comprehensible why all that happens does happen

If this is not fulfilled by men, then Hareiars, among others, will continue to attack with his principle of destruction everything connected with the concept of the family

The attacking comes because this is precisely an important point for the building of the new world of men here upon the Earth

And when many feel offended by the way in which this very concept now collapses into dust in this visible world of men, by how it is trampled upon and how a deliberate attack is directed against it, this is not to be a cause for anger and wrath, but only for considering whether it does not speak of the soreness and the weakness of the building of a new life upon the Earth

This is not dissolution on the part of the darkness, as is supposed, but it is the shattering of all that is false on the part of Hareiars

If the right foundation for a family formed of man and woman were found by all those who otherwise profess it, then the shattering and the collapse would at once cease, and over every such place the fullness of peace and blessing would rule

Whatever is in accord with how it should truly be in Creation remains even today untouched by the shocks and the collapse, however much it may be falling down in the very next house

And it is a grave call to all men, as also to all women

Everyone can therein take a step higher

Indeed many steps, which would raise the state of the family above the level up to which the attack is directed against it

It is therefore not the darkness which, according to many people, attacks the values of the family, but it is the cleansing aggression of Hareiars, which crushes and crumbles everything in this basic building stone which is wrongly or even falsely understood, although it is held by men to be sacredly precious

And this holds good for everything else in human life as well

Struck by the spear of Hareiars is everything which stands wrongly, however much men suppose it to be right

We can see it in everything around us

Thus is fulfilled the promised judgment over the human world, which needs to come to healing

If this does not come about voluntarily, then it goes along the courses of shocks and blows which are to awaken mankind

Everything is to become new

Thus it hovers above mankind, and yet it remains without the response of any more earnest occupation with it

Although it may now appear complicated to many a one to find the way, and he now asks what he can do for the better, the answer is more than simple – everything rests in the all-embracing volition for good and for purity in the approach to all that happens

Thus also to the concept of the family and of family life

So much needs to change in this

But the way to change leads only through a new influx of love, in the mutual supporting of one another towards a harmonious accord in the common household and in all that belongs to the life of two people

An uplifting giving in the spiritual as in the earthly is to be the principle upon which a wholly new picture for the concept of the family will grow

But who stands so rightly therein that nothing more could be refined, made luminous, glowed through with kindness in the striving for the noble goals of the spirit

What Hareiars now destroys, the virtuous Hestia stands at once ready to help build up anew for the fulfilment of the cosiness of the home, upon the foundation of the loving-kindness of human striving for harmony

But that is only one of the many aims of Hareiars in today's time of revolutionary changes

He is the one who strikes in order to destroy everything false in the human world which does not vibrate according to the divine archetype of the original human world here upon the Earth

Do you now grasp how and in how many places Hareiars works

He works in a principle which attacks all that is wrong and also that which bears within it, however skilfully hidden, the germ of evil

He finds this evil and attacks it relentlessly and hard, however much men in their seeing call this evil right

And upon the Earth there is much evil which must be born anew

Therefore that collapsing and falling of what men have until now called values, in the belief that this is a sufficient goal in life for them, is now to be seen everywhere

Whatever does not now stand in accord with the great Harmony of the work of Creation will now be shaken again and again until it is wholly destroyed through the working of the principle of aggression of Hareiars

Therein, among other things, lies a great warning for all men

Where among men there is no true reverence and no purely spiritual vibration of harmony, there all relationships, all supposed friendships, and also all agreements and arrangements will collapse, for the aggression of Hareiars will bring therein strong shocks which will break apart and destroy all that has hitherto been wrong

There, then, let Hareiars everywhere be sought

There he is present through his principle, in which he works

Therefore woe where among men there is no mutual reverence as a protection, in the living fulfilment of the beatitudes of Jesus

Where a living of this kind is lacking, there dissolution and destruction will come

Love therefore your neighbours with all your strength

Love also all your enemies, for it is not a matter of them as such, but of the great Harmony of the whole work of Creation, in which everything vibrates, including every human spirit, who thereby bears witness to his ability to be a part of this Harmony

The settling of all wrongs and injuries leave calmly to the threads, in which everything that is living is now drawn taut, including that which has long appeared dead, but which under the pressure of the Light has been raised up and now comes alive

To this settling of wrongs a whole army of animistic warriors contributes at the commission of the Light, at whose head stands, among others, Hareiars

Hareiars is today present in so many happenings that many pages would not suffice to write out in how many places his principle now attacks

Against his crushing and pulverising effect there is no defence within human powers

The human spirit with his uglinesses is now delivered up to him in the fulfilment of a complete warfare through all that does not stand rightly in accord with the Laws of God

And that is also the only right way to escape from the blows of the axe of Hareiars and from his whistling spear

To stand wholly pure and without the vibration of anything ill within one's inner being

That alone makes man capable of having a protective radiance hover above him which, like a vault of light, turns aside all the blows of the working of Hareiars

But that means the understanding of all that is wrong

Everywhere too where that needed purity and fullness of peace on the part of the human spirit is still lacking, all that wavers remains exposed to the blows of the animistic servant Hareiars

With this men are now to occupy themselves through their perceiving in intuition

They are to occupy themselves with it far more than with endless debates about social developments, which the human spirit can in any case influence for the good only through his own radiation of the all-embracing good

There is no other way for the individual, unless he himself is specially led by the Light to the possibility of another kind of influencing

Of those people who may have to do with the influencing of the situation of society as a whole at the commission of the Light there are never many

Of course it does not rest in debates, nor in growing heated about politics, but in the real possible ways of visibly intervening in the development of social happening

For that, however, only a few spirits who have come out of the Light have grown mature

But even they can go only the way of the fullness of peace and of kindliness, not the way of clashes and of fighting, if they are to fulfil the task given them out of the Light

For retribution and attack the Light has today set apart precisely and solely the animistic working, towards which men need to find ways of co-operation

It is therefore a great demand upon the humanly spiritual kind that it should awaken therein and find a conscious connection with the animistic servants in Creation

Therefore it is also needful to occupy oneself within with where Hareiars is today and how he actually works for the victory of the Light in this part of the materialities in the Subsequent Creation

It always requires an effort in the intuitive perceiving of men

Only thus is it possible rightly to grasp why this or that happens

Without this endeavour towards inner intuiting men will never find the right view of the reality of the happening

It is therefore fitting to call again and again for an effort of the intuitive kind instead of an intellectual sifting in thoughts of what happens

Therein rests a great difference

And precisely all who are honest within can endeavour to find this difference in the understanding of the concepts of family, lineage and homeland

It is a wholly fundamental difference from the way in which it is generally perceived by men today

And precisely a great task therein belongs to human womanhood in its spiritual mission

It needs to awaken and then to take the place which from the beginning was entrusted to it by the Creator

It is a great and exceedingly precious task, resting in the purity and also in the wise spiritual maturity of the woman

It brings a wholly new view of today's union between man and woman

Womanhood is not bound in duty to the man, but is primarily laid by the Light into Creation as a graceful sparkling which bears within it the promise of the high ideals of the pure and sublime task of mediating harmony for all life

Whoever rightly occupies himself with this can discover therein much which will raise him higher than today's reach of the dissolving principle of the High servant of Valhalla, Hareiars

Therein rests the ascent of the individual, of the family, of the homeland and of the whole Earth

In the same way Hareiars also works in many other distortions of human conceptions about life, so that these may collapse as swiftly as possible and make room for the new and true striving of spiritually awakened men

And beside Hareiars there is also Haertemis, who again prepares her bow and her arrows for striking men, from which their deficient health follows

If, therefore, anyone asks where all the High animistic servants of Valhalla are in this grave time unfolding upon the Earth, then one single thing holds good for all:

Wait yet a little while, soon it will come among all men
