What Else Will Yet Come Upon This Earth?

A clear answer to this question many men today would gladly and without hesitation pay for in gold

That is because they have their many plans in the world of matter, which all at once appear to stand in great jeopardy

Over mankind as a whole there now spreads a stifling pall of uncertainty

Strained are all the nerves of those who already sense that everything now standing, which held good for thousands of years from ancient days until today, is all at once becoming the past

They are also aware that they themselves are bound, through their own share of thinking and of deeds, with much of that which is now shaking to its foundations

It is those thoughts and deeds which together brought this world to where it now finds itself

In more than one man the conscience therefore stirs deep within, in the fear of what may be, if in the end there should after all come something such as the ancient prophecies mention which speak of the Judgment of God over mankind

Some it casts down, others on the contrary it leads to still greater audacities

The world of men is today pervaded by a torn condition which brings confusion in every direction

That is the reason why the question of what else will yet come upon this Earth so greatly disquiets many of the more receptive among them

The answer, however, is easy

Together with momentous events there now comes a harsh awakening of men out of a long spiritual sleep

The awakening will come through the quickened intuitive perceiving in the inner being of those men who have not yet wholly succumbed to the influence of the Antichrist

The former world will thereby gradually dissolve, so as to form the ground for the birth of a new world

And the new world will be riper both spiritually and earthly

We now stand at the beginning of the transformation of the world of men out of the old into the new

It is beyond the grasp of human comprehension how the hands of the animistic weavers work in a great number of places at once, so that the radiation going forth from the Ray of Parzival, which stands in the ethereal materiality close above the Earth, may be brought to bear as swiftly and as thoroughly as possible

Therefore the happening quickens which in the end will in some way touch absolutely everyone

This is not to be a ground for fear, however, but an impulse to seek the one right way out

This way out is the complete placing of a childlike trust in the All-Wisdom of God, which ever more clearly uncovers the way for all those who are inwardly pure men

For the human spiritual it is the way that leads them out of all the chaos and confusion of the present material world

At first sight this appears as the easiest thing a man can do

At the same time, however, in its application in everyday life it swiftly proves the hardest, for it demands walking a way of an entirely new direction at a time when on Earth there still hold good most of the consequences of that which the Will of God has marked as the wrong ordering of the old world

The spiritual, which is to go ahead, demands an entirely new approach to the happening, and that precisely through trust in the help of God

In the old world a new life is to be begun by the individual man

But through the events taking place within it the old world binds all the concentration of men and does not allow them to become new

Thereby a pressure is called forth which brings confusion into the inner being of many men

Hence there arise the questions as to what will yet come upon this Earth, so that men striving towards the Light may more distinctly, and if possible in an earthly visible way, recognise the state of that which for the present unfolds in the finer waves of happenings

Many men striving for spiritual ascent cling literally to every sign which is to confirm to them that the time of the promised changes has now truly come

The signs so far, however, still do not appear entirely evident, for despite all the events showing themselves it looks as though the old world were still in part holding its course, and thereby creating the impression that in the end everything will be overcome and that the existing manner of human life will, in spite of all confusions, stand the test

Thereby many men lose sufficient courage to cleave fully to that which is new, for they fear that were they to go ahead themselves they would seem to those around them naive visionaries

They therefore feel themselves upon uncertain ground, and this condition drains from them a great part of their inner and outer strength

It is a genuine struggle of the spiritual inner being in man with the outer world

That the struggle may be successful, that is, such that in the end awakening and liberation are victoriously attained, a great part of those who waver need to see clearly before them the way out of all the existing confusion

In the confused world of today many men lack a distinct knowledge of where and how to begin

The way out, however, is more than evident, without there being any need to watch feverishly the development in all the happening

That way out rests in the courageous and trustful placing of oneself with one's spirit into the flowing of the Power of God, and in entering wholly upon the shaping and the upholding of harmony everywhere that the influence of the individual man reaches

Such a thing is possible only when a man is attuned within himself solely to a pure volition

When there burns in him the brightness of a fervent awareness that everything material around him is but a means of development for his spirit and not a goal

Only then, when the spirit does not cling narrowly to results belonging to the visible world of gross matter, may a calming come to him, and also a liberation from the many vibrations which hold fear and unrest

The time which is coming makes precisely this kind of attunement possible

But only if a man is able with his inner being to raise himself above the outer world

In the spirit the awareness of the spiritual home is to shine brightly above all else, the home to which everything human is naturally to cling and towards which it is to strive, for it is the true and only goal which intuition is to follow

Towards this high goal one strides upon the way of helping other men and all creatures who are in need of help

There are many souls calling for help in this hour of the restless time of the earthly human world

And among those who have been granted an enlightened knowledge of the Holy God and of His work of Creation there stands ready a great number who came to Earth precisely and only for this time

In their helping of others there rests for them the completing of all the needed experiencings which their spiritual inner being still requires, so that the maturity of the spirit may unite with a perfect wholeness

It is therefore possible to call the present time on Earth an hour of great opportunities for spiritual ripening through the helping of one's fellow men

Therefore in all the present events the call to awakening is to sound ever more distinctly

Now the time is here when the spiritual in man is to be brought to the highest wakefulness

The attaining of the highest inner wakefulness comes about only through the quickening and the straining of all the forces slumbering in the spiritual spark

In this men are also to help one another with a kindliness and a considerateness proceeding from the common goal – the freeing of the spiritual from the influence of an ingrained and rigid thinking

Helping one's fellow men in this is part of the quickened awakening of the human spirit

Only a heightened spiritual movement makes it possible for the dogmas of the many limitations of thought, amassed by man himself, to fall away from him

Away at last with all that repeats within man that to live purely and simply is not possible, and that it must take decades before spiritual enlightenment is attained

Everything is quickened

Therefore changes in the approach to life can also be brought about in a far shorter time than was the case until now

It is only needful to break free from the lazily lukewarm cast of the forms of thought held until now

The happening around him assists in this, if with a receptive intuitive perceiving everything is used for a courageous movement forward

The shaking of the certainties held until now helps the spirit to free itself from ingrained notions of the continuing flow of a creepingly material manner of life

Everything in man is now to be shifted without reserve to the manner of a good and pure attunement

Nothing else is to have room within the inner being or in the thoughts

All the longings in man are to be redirected and led over into a refined intuitive sense for Harmony

There, where the still enduring direction of thinking loses itself in the dark abysses of fear and of uncertainty as to what is to come, everything is to be fully flooded with the bright Light of trust in the help of God

Therein the Power of God comes at once to man, in which there lies a calming and a becoming luminous for the purely opened inner being

A pure and clear attunement to this Power of God swiftly helps out of all the weaknesses and cares of human thinking

All of this, however, holds for those who are still able to free themselves from everything that must now be shaken and collapse

Those who remain clinging to what exists will be dragged along with the whole happening which must now come, so as to complete the cleansing of the human world of all the ill-fated growths and wrongnesses which have rooted themselves here all too deeply

Therefore it is so greatly important to learn now to free oneself from so many attendant happenings which press upon man with their insistence

Inwardly, and gradually outwardly too, men need to break free from the influence of the Antichrist

Meanwhile, however, his power grows, and through the adopted modes of thought it penetrates to men who otherwise would not of themselves seek out anything of the kind

The might of his working penetrates into the lives of men without their becoming aware of it

Therefore let it be recalled once more that the way out of the existing confusion rests in the inward binding of oneself with the Power of God, so that its flowing may become for the individual man something taken as a matter of course

The connection which today offers a refuge to the human spirit incarnated on Earth can also be found with the animistic kind

Everywhere that it is possible to unite oneself with the animistic servants, this connection is to be formed, upheld and widened

In it there is to reign a mutual reverence, a loftiness and a nobility of character on the part of men

But who today holds in esteem the patient and wise work of the Aglami, who are nevertheless permanently in the nearness of human life

Because men do not see them, most of them do not believe such a thing as that little helpers, the Aglami, should be around them, and therefore neither do they perceive them, which leads only to smiles at the supposed childish naivety of those who speak of them

Yet it is precisely in co-operation with the Aglami that men can guard themselves from many difficulties which otherwise threaten to enter their lives through unexpected happenings that must now come, as the supremacy of the Antichrist over mankind is shaken by the animistic servants

The Aglami can be the helpers standing closest to men in the time of day and of night

It is their task, for they were sent to stand nearest to the world of men

In their seeming restlessness they continually lead individual men to the knowledge that around them there lives yet another world, which, although hidden from the perception of the earthly senses, is more important than men have hitherto imagined

The world of the finer happenings is now pervaded by the urgent call that men should at last awaken and recognise their true task in the work of Creation of God

And above the little Aglami there stand ever higher and higher stages of the animistic weaving, in which it is possible for the inwardly open man to recognise the threads of his own fate, which continually form themselves around him so as to become his experiencing in the present

This work belongs to the Alphar, who in the end also bring to everyone exactly that which he will now, in this part of the happening, deserve as a testimony of the state of his own spiritual inner being

It will therefore grow continually stronger, so as either to awaken man or to lead him along ever more demanding paths which correspond to the shaking now appointed for all spiritually sleeping men

This is also already beginning to happen and will grow stronger still

It will unfold to the very edge of what can be borne

And many will not bear it and will succumb to a derangement of thought in the intellect

Those, however, who with the striving of their spirit go ahead of the happening will therein be strengthened by their helpers from the Light, so that they may neither waver nor go astray

Provided they do not open their inner being again to something secondary, they will be enabled to perceive the clear and direct way shown by the animistic servants and by all the helping and kindly intercessors from the Light, through all the events which will yet come upon the Earth

Upon the Earth much unexpected happening will yet come in the near future

This is not to be a ground for fear and unrest, however, but is to be used for a great spiritual awakening

Out of the awakening there will then at last arise that enthusiasm, until now still not sufficiently widespread among men, for everything bound up with the way to spiritual maturity, which is offered to every inwardly independent spirit so as to lead him to the very gates of the blessed home in the luminous heights of the work of Creation

Set against the events now unfolding it therefore sounds strange to say that before mankind lies the most precious period that could ever have come upon this Earth – a period of great spiritual awakening

It will come by other ways than many expect today

That is because it is guided by the Wisdom of God, and not by the human manner of reasoning

When all of this has rolled over mankind, then all those who stand the test therein will find in everything they have lived through only a ground for the great extolling of the Creator, Who in His Wisdom lets it be brought to fulfilment

Whoever goes the way of a childlike and simple trusting in the helps of God, and does no evil to other men, has no ground to fear anything

For him, in the unfolding happening, a great spiritual enlightenment draws near, which until now had to be denied him, since among men the widespread ballast of the intellect stood in its way

In the storms which are coming all of this will be blown away

Then there will arise a peacefulness and a peace such as mankind on this Earth has never yet known
