Great and exceedingly important are the effects of the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species

In the manifestations of its effects there lies much blessing for the striving of man, provided that this Law is rightly recognized and observed

In this, however, lies a great difficulty, for only few today can say that they really know what the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species carries within itself, and above all how it works among men through all its effects

Therefore this Law is applied only gropingly and inconsistently in comparison with the way it ought to be handled, so that its effects could bear the good fruit which lies within it

Only a little of its effects is divined, instead of men consistently guiding themselves by this Law with gratitude

We may say that by the greater part of mankind action is taken rather against the beneficence of this Law instead of acting in accord with it, in which case it would then bring men only blessing through its effects

The reality is such that especially today there is a great endeavour among men to push this Law aside as something which does not fit into the general attunement of society

The boundaries within which the blessing of the effects of this Law is to be found are transgressed by men on every possible occasion

For clarity let us add that we are speaking here of the recognition and also of the application of the effects of this Law in everyday life among men, in society, not in the work with outward phenomena of nature, that is, within the framework of physics or chemistry and other fields of earthly science

In this respect, strange to say, it is precisely science that stands much better towards this Law than the way in which those equally lawful phenomena are perceived in the actual life of human society

It must be admitted that precisely here earthly science could be taken as an example in the way it strives to accept and to apply the Laws of Creation in the material world

This is, among other things, because if success is to be attained in some material field men cannot proceed otherwise than in the acceptance of the conditions of the laws of nature, that is, of the Laws of Creation

It is otherwise, however, in social affairs, that is, in the relations between men, where for the most part they act as though the Laws of Creation were never to be valid

Their effects are overlooked, suppressed, and it is even often held to be something offensive if precisely the Law of the magnetic attraction of homogeneous species asserts itself with emphasis among men themselves

There is a great endeavour to tear down this Law as something outlived, which was valid for the past and which now suits no one any longer

Yet this Law is unalterable and will always bring men blessing if it is recognized and observed, just as at the same time, through its pressure, it causes everywhere and in everything tension, unrest and finally failure if it is neglected or deliberately circumvented

The Law which speaks of the necessity of observing homogeneity is overlooked on the social plane among men, it is denied in schooling, in the army, in the prison system, and also in the communities of small children and of young people, where it is very often the reason for the infliction of wrongs

The transgression of the Law of Homogeneity will always cause great harm through those who are coarser and more insensitive towards all those who show themselves to be more sensitive, and thereby temporarily weaker and more vulnerable on Earth

The Law of Homogeneity will bear blessing if it is understood also in the matter of the spiritual maturity of men

Today, however, it is not considered at all that there could be any diversity among men in the spiritual maturity of individuals or of nations

The movements of peoples and the efforts to replenish the labour force, in which the difference prevailing in the diversity of spiritual maturity is overlooked, are the reason for the growing tension throughout the whole world

The most varied endeavours of leaders to join together what cannot be joined must therefore always show themselves in dreadful experiences

In history these steps have always shown themselves to be a great harm, and that even in the earthly consequences

The spiritual consequences, however, are many times more destructive still

Yet we stand at the turning point of great changes, when the ferment which accompanies it all will again let rise to the surface only that which today is overlooked and which is truly important and valuable in the sense of purity and clarity of perception

The summit of the transformations is drawing near, in which precisely the understanding of the Law of Homogeneity and its reverent fulfilment will become an inseparable part of the rebirth of society

In this, in the new time, many fundamental decisions will finally have to be made as well, so that the necessary harmony may be attained everywhere where today it is quite plainly lacking

But there is something still more serious, which goes far more deeply into the understanding of homogeneity in the sense of the recognition of spiritual maturity

In the present time this Law is transgressed even there where it should already with certainty be heeded in fully conscious knowledge

Alas yes, the transgression of the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species has become a part of the spiritual working in the spreading of the knowledge of the Truth about the work of Creation and about the Creator

The great Law formed out of the All-Wisdom of God is neglected, and that all too often, especially in serious spiritual work – in the passing on of the knowledge of the Truth to other people

Although among the people who recognize the Truth, that is, among those around the work of the Grail Message, the assumption of a clear knowledge is nourished precisely with regard to this Law, since at first glance it appears as something clear and easily comprehensible, its true significance is still not sufficiently rightly recognized, and it is not observed and applied at all

Were it so, the result in the spreading of the knowledge of the Truth on Earth today would be entirely different

It is almost certain that at this moment voices will be raised which will want to oppose these words in rejection

Many people who possess the knowledge of the work of the Grail Message carry within themselves a pride in their own knowledge of the Laws of Creation

Alas, as people afflicted with the earthly intellect, we all too often form for ourselves the assumption that we have understood everything and that we also apply it rightly

Many may repeat this over and over to assure themselves and others

But this changes nothing in the fruit, which confirms that this Law is not well recognized

The fruit proves how greatly it is overlooked in the outward working, in the extending of a helping hand to those people who are seeking answers to serious questions about life

It is truly so

Now the question will arise where, then, this serious mistake is made against the Law which speaks of the condition of observing the magnetic attraction of homogeneous species

The answer is not difficult

It is because, through the wrong procedures of the people who have the Grail Message in their hands, procedures directed towards the public, obstacles are created for all seekers precisely in that insufficient heed is paid to the delicate manifestations of the working of the Law of the magnetic attraction of homogeneous species

Too easily are the individual degrees of maturity of the spiritually awakening people overstepped

By many of those who wish to help, ways have been adopted which pay no heed to what knowledge of the high concepts the seeking people possess

Instead of walking from the beginning, the highest knowledge is offered

And to these ways there is often a clinging of unspeakable stubbornness

What is wrong is that into the initial addressing of the seekers there are inserted concepts and portions of knowledge which belong to a much later place than to the still only initial widening of the knowledge about the work of Creation and its parts

Although this was pointed out in many lectures by the author of the Grail Message himself, many mistakes are still made in it

Steps are skipped, and thereby many obstacles are made which cannot vividly attract the seekers and lead them step by step upwards

Thus the very same Law which would work supportingly through its attracting magnetism calls forth repulsion in a great part of the seekers

It is because into the basic questions about life much of the knowledge is often immediately mixed in, which stands high above the capacity of comprehension of those who are only at the beginning of their search for knowledge

People are to be divided into groups according to their maturity

Therefore strict heed must be paid to whether one is speaking already to people who know the Grail Message, or whether the endeavour is to bring new seekers to the Grail Message

In this lies an important happening, in which no blessing from the Light can come towards the activity of people who mix many things into a food which in the end must be uneatable

This applies especially with regard to the careful weighing of all texts which are published in such a way as to help in the first place towards the refreshing of the mobility of those who already know the work of the Grail Message

Those very same texts, however, can never rightly help people who are still only at the beginning of their search for answers to the basic questions of life

It is therefore a matter of two entirely different approaches to one's fellow men

THE WAY OF THE GRAIL provides the texts presented in the section of the Supplementary Texts as those texts which belong to people who already have the knowledge about the work of the Grail Message

They are therefore not texts which, without any change, can address those who are at the very beginning of their recognition of the connections, to which belongs for example the discovery of the truth about life after the departure from the earthly world, the questions of the true power of thoughts and of intuitive perceptions, the questions of miraculous healing, and much more besides

There should never be in this an endeavour to mix diversity into one whole

This, however, is alas done all too often today

Therefore there is so much disenchantment and disappointment at the failure amid otherwise sincere endeavours to help other people spiritually

The harm, however, is caused by the unwillingness to observe with seriousness the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species

Into the addressing of those who are at the beginning of the path one may never mix high concepts which require the knowledge and the preceding understanding of several intermediate degrees of recognition

If this is overlooked, then confusion must necessarily arise and thereby a weakening of the transparency of knowledge, for into the rescuing food for the gravely ill one cannot add ingredients which already presuppose a certain degree of healing and of strengthening out of the initial weakness

One cannot leap many steps ahead in the assumption that the person concerned will perhaps accept it and that in the end it will after all benefit him in some way

He who longs truly to heal needs to maintain his own strict self-control in the knowledge of what benefits and nourishes weakened souls and what for them is already too strong a food

It is of course understandable that many people wish to help quickly, but such a thing needs to be in accord with the Laws of Creation, to which the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species also belongs

Step by step it is necessary to walk upwards with the seekers and not to run ahead, for thereby the magnetism of attraction towards ever higher knowledge, as it should always rightly be, would quickly be weakened

Therefore one cannot place into the first steps of knowledge concepts which belong only to a far later exposition

As, for example, is the case when, without anything preceding it, the knowledge is laid before the seekers that the Son of Man has already been on Earth and that He is the One who brought in the work of the Grail Message the Holy Word – the Truth for mankind on Earth

In this much serious harm has already been done, when the endeavour is to help the seekers in these ways which neglect the necessary maturity of the inner being of man for the understanding of something so high as the concept of the Son of Man

Everywhere where the pointing to this concept runs too far ahead of the maturity of the seeking people, there its wrong use will always bring harm instead of blessing

In this lies the great recognition of the need of the maturity of the human spirit, in order that it may rightly recognize and also accept this concept

Nothing in this can be leaped over or circumvented

The overstepping of the necessary maturity opposes the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species and must therefore in the end reap harm, instead of what would come about if the concept of the Son of Man, like the concept of Imanuel, were handled in patience, considerately and with restraint

The outward use of these high concepts towards the seekers forms, in the effect of the Law of Homogeneity, an insurmountable obstacle for the seekers at the beginning of the path

It will always hold true that in this respect there stands an immensely high step between the seekers and those who know the work of the Grail Message

By people who have themselves naturally ripened to the degree of the knowledge of the connections concerning the concept of the Son of Man and of Imanuel, the approach towards the seekers is not rightly carried out in the sense of bending down to them to the degree of comprehension of the majority of those who are attracted by serious questions of life

Likewise the pointing to the inner nature of the author of the work of the Grail Message, in the expectation that this will move the soul of man forward, is a running ahead which does not belong to the working that is to bring blessing for the whole upbuilding

Such a thing always has the character of impatience, and in it there is a sign of pressure which in such a matter, where the ripening of man is concerned, should never be applied

No regard is paid to the gradual development of the inner ripening of the human spirit, which itself, step by step, needs first to recognize and to accept all that precedes and that is first connected with these concepts

Therefore more concentration is to be devoted to the right procedure in the addressing of those who seek answers to their questions about the meaning of life

This step is now to bring the working of the CIRCLES OF THE PEACEFUL onto the right course

The Circles of the Peaceful are to form a quite new foundation which takes account of the level of thinking and of perceiving of the seekers

With the seekers one is to proceed step by step from the foundation of their initial, vividly manifested comprehension

This requires a calm and patient approach towards all who are at the beginning of their knowledge

Yet today it is almost always expected that these are able suddenly to grasp high concepts which for the majority must remain outside the framework of their level of thinking

Thereby, however, the Law of Homogeneity is violated

And its violation must cause the repulsion of the seekers instead of attraction

The attracting force is meant to be the clear and noble radiation of the already advanced readers

The radiation is reflected in all the manifestations of a man's bearing

It enters into the spoken and the written form, into all forms of conduct in everyday life

This radiation is a work which needs to be accomplished by the human spirit personally

It cannot be made easier by any endeavour to overwhelm the seekers with the highest knowledge of the Truth

If the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species is to be rightly fulfilled, then the radiation of high knowledge needs to be reflected in the lasting manner of life of those who long to help the spiritually awakening people

It is a radiation which is to bear within itself the traces of high human worth and of nobility of character under all the conditions of experiencing the present

Any use of high concepts is to be weighed with the highest degree of sensitive receptivity for the comprehension of the seekers

Such a thing requires effort and restraint, in which there can never be a leaping forward in the assumption that people will later certainly grow up to the understanding and that their inner being will then rightly work through the high concepts which before were only hastily deposited there

High concepts are never to serve as a shield forcing a way through for the simplification of the outward working

Such an endeavour often leads to the tearing down of all that should be preserved in the inner being of man as the most precious thing

However well it is meant by many, use is made of those parts out of which no building can be raised that is lasting and withstands the outward storms

Neither can a house be built from the roof, but only from firm foundations standing on the ground

The knowledge of the connections of a high spiritual degree is a superstructure upon the foundations of the knowledge about the free will and the responsibility of man on his path of development

To this belongs the knowledge of the cycle of incarnation, as a consequence of the effects of the cosmic Laws

Also the knowledge about the animistic servants who accompany the human spirit through all the planes of materiality

In connection with this there can then come knowledge of a higher kind, to which belongs the awareness of the planes of the Primordial Creation rising upwards to the very summit, to the Grail

For the right understanding of the highest concepts the human spirit ripens throughout his whole life

Yet he then expects that others will master at the first hearing the same work which he himself has put into the understanding of the high concepts

This, however, does not happen, and isolated exceptions in it cannot count as confirmation

Only few spirits have already brought with them to this Earth the knowledge of high wisdom, so as to receive and to understand everything easily

The majority of the people who belong to the seekers stand far back, and progress forward in great leaps cannot be demanded of them

Through the high concepts a strong pressure is exerted upon such gradually unfolding knowledge of the newly arrived

Thereby again and again a wrong foundation for a wider working is formed, in which the seekers are led too abruptly into the knowledge of connections to which many of them have not grown up

The result is a lack of understanding of the concepts, which leads to confusion, to rejection, or also to mockery or to a violent setting of oneself in opposition to the whole work of the Grail Message

The harm that arises falls to the account of those who through their working are meant to be the ones leading to the Grail Message

And this mistake is the confirmation of the lack of understanding of the great Law of Homogeneity

Instead of the magnetic attraction being strengthened in the right way, through the wrong approach the repelling force of this Law is kept permanently in activity

All this happens precisely through that insufficient comprehension of the effects of the Law of Homogeneity in these so important connections in the outward working

Yet there, where the setting of the conditions is good, the Law of Homogeneity must work in attraction as a blessing

When, however, wrong conditions are used through concepts, and thereby an excessive demand is made upon the comprehension of the people who are only just awakening, then instead of attraction the magnetic repulsion is strengthened

Therefore for so long the development around the Grail Message has been crippled and leads ever more to a weakening, while other directions gain in attraction and thereby in strength

It therefore requires a far more living occupation with the question of how to work outwardly from the ranks of those who have the knowledge and who themselves may draw from it strengthening and support for every moment of their being

It is necessary to become aware that the working around the Grail Message has two fundamental parts

One part is the joining together and the supporting of those who have already come to know the Grail Message and who along with it more or less understand all the high concepts which have come to them as a part of knowledge

This part can and shall support one another in its own circles, so that here too the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species may work

That is, so that the individual circles may be formed according to the maturities and the interests of those who have a certain knowledge of the wisdom of the Truth and who long to unfold it further for their own need and for the need of helping others

The second fundamental part is that which concerns the outward working, as the extending of helping hands to all those who are spiritually awakening to their awareness

For this part there holds the condition of a gradual widening of knowledge without great leaps forward with the individual seekers

In this part the work is to be done especially patiently and kindly, and that above all through the personal example of those who help, for that is the best way in the fulfilment of the Law of magnetic attraction

The two mentioned parts cannot be interwoven or joined in the assumption that something will thereby be hastened, or that something better will thereby be created for the help of this world

If it is thought in this way, then the helping, blessed effect of the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species will never open, to which belongs above all the attraction arising out of the measure of the knowledge of the human inner being

If, however, the Law of Homogeneity is observed, then it will bring blessing in the lasting unfolding of the forces streaming in from the Light

The various degrees of maturity of human spirits are not to be mixed more than the Law of Homogeneity permits

In this lies a great wisdom arising out of the blessed working of the Love of God everywhere in Creation

Everything has its place and its time for ripening

The Circles of the Peaceful are to handle this precious knowledge in the most living application

Precisely those who wish, each for himself, to help their fellow men are to keep constantly in mind that patience is a necessary part of the equipment of a spirit which has resolved to help others on the way to the planes of the spiritual home

It should wholly fill the inner being of a man who truly longs to help other people in the most precious thing that can be given to them here on Earth – that is, in the bringing of the knowledge about God and about His work

If each one proceeds in the mature intuitive perceiving of the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species, then the blessing which rests in this Law will begin to show itself ever more swiftly

The Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species will work for him in that he consciously ranges himself into its sphere of working

Thus it will go step by step towards an entirely new knowledge about the effects of all the Laws of God in Creation

People will give fervent thanks for it

And in the end there will arise out of it all a great blessing of an unprecedented flowering in the whole of human society
