The human spirit is a child of Creation

It is a spark which flew forth out of the spiritual planes for the fulfilment of the longing of the inner flame towards its strengthening and towards the attaining of the maturity of exalted humanity

The flame of spiritual consciousness, which is to become bright and strong, is at the very beginning of its path still hidden within the spark and is only gently vibrating, requiring at every one of its steps the loving guidance from the Light

For this guidance from the Light the spark also bears within it, naturally laid therein, an inner openness for the receiving of helps from higher spirits and beings who in their radiance are stronger, more mature, and who work from the heights of Creation

Openness for the guidance from the Light rests naturally within the human spirit, because it belongs to the spiritual species, and absolutely everything spiritual in Creation bears within itself, laid therein from the very beginning, the will to learn and the longing for the development of its abilities

It is the legacy of the radiation of God, out of which the work of Creation itself arose and all the life that has awakened to its consciousness

It is also that great gift of God granted by the Creator to all the spiritual inhabitants of the work of Creation

Openness for the higher guidance from the Light is an inseparable part of free will, and that free will of the spirits is again bound up with self-awareness, which is an important condition for the unbounded continuance of the spiritual species in the work of Creation

Openness for the higher guidance from the Light is described in earthly words as childlikeness

Said otherwise, childlikeness is a trusting openness for the receiving of something higher

A certain measure of childlikeness is borne, in spite of the otherwise working strength and power, by everything spiritual and animistic, because all is dependent upon the Light and upon the all-embracing life-giving power contained within it

It may therefore be said that the condition for the right connection of the human spirit with God is its continually fulfilled childlikeness

By this the human spirit in no way lowers itself, as it might at first sight appear to earthly reasoning, but on the contrary it is the way to the true connection with the Light

For the condition of a fully valuable being is that openness for the connection with the life-giving power which is mediated solely by the Light radiated out of God Himself

This holds good for every inhabitant in Creation

It is therefore something quite different from what men imagine, for childlikeness is neither childishness nor weakness in the consciousness of man, but is an ardent openness towards all that is higher, which in its origin comes from the Light and thus from God

Childlikeness is therefore for earthman a return to the lost kind of attunement, which will forthwith bring him the connection with the highest powers of the Light in Creation

It will bring him the connection with the Grail, and thereby also with God Himself, to Whom the Grail is the connecting place for the work of Creation

Through the Grail there flows to all life in Creation the continually enlivening and sustaining Holy Power

This happening also man may experience fully consciously only with his spirit, through his inner childlike openness

Thereby he takes his place at last at the side of all the glorious servants of the Light in Creation

In this kind of childlikeness there vibrate the smallest animistic ones who work within the blossoms of earthly plants, and in the same unshakable trusting openness there vibrate the highest primordially created Guardians of the Grail at the summit of the work of Creation

The mighty forces of the servants of Valhalla likewise vibrate in a purely childlike openness, in which they form whole worlds and universes

Openness is not the opposite of self-consciousness

Rather does everything that has arisen to life in Creation and walks upon the right paths press on from an unconscious openness towards the Light to a fully self-conscious and lasting connection with the Light which comes from God

Unlike the primordially created and the created spirits, who in their strength became fully self-conscious at once, that is, immediately upon their awakening, the human spirit needs, in order to attain maturity, to pass along the paths in the distant materialities, which only in their remoteness from the Starting-point of the Light bring him the opportunities for strengthening and thereby for a higher self-awareness in the use of free will

If therefore we look back to the blissful planes of the spirit germs at their very beginning, we behold how the human spirit, tenderly surrounded by the delicacy of the lightest matter, bears within itself there nothing but pure childlikeness, which opens for it the way to the knowing of the work of Creation

The initial unknowingness and at the same time the jubilant enthusiasm for being in the work of Creation, that is the expression of that open pure childlikeness, which at that time also makes the human spirit welcome to all the inhabitants of Creation, in whom through this its vibration of childlikeness it awakens none but protecting intuitive perceptions

At the very beginning of the first humanly spiritual sparks descending into the materialities this happening called forth in all the spiritual spheres of Creation caring thoughts, which thereafter bent down towards the materialities in radiant streams of spiritual help and blessing

The spark strengthening into the flame of the spirit needs a multitude of manifold experiences for its ripening and its development

In this ripening of his there is sent to man from the Light, for every experiencing, for every new gaining of experience, a multitude of loving protecting currents, bearing within them the all-wisdom of that which best benefits the spirit

These helps are supremely wise, indeed it is possible to call them truly all-wise, for in the effectiveness with which they work for man they always pursue his highest goal, that is, the attaining of the possibility of a self-conscious entering into the spiritual planes of Paradise

The starting-point of these supporting and protecting threads of the luminous helpers lies in the Grail itself, for out of it there stream into the work of Creation all the effects of the Laws of God, which bear in their foundation the helping Love of God

The Love of God is helping to all life which manifests itself in its pure will towards a self-conscious being

Every pure striving for the attaining of human dignity and nobility of character, as a distant reflection of the Light of God, is that conditional setting of the channel which gradually opens the inflow of the stream of helps which may then flow to such a strengthening spirit

Helps from the Light stream in every moment and form the conditions out of which man, in every moment of his being, can begin his ascent with new enthusiasm, wherever in the materialities he may find himself

In the moment when the longing of his spirit for something better flares up, helps for the further walking forward stand at once prepared

If openness for the further advancing upward is there, then everything is set and made ready by the Laws of God as the most highly wise path for further progress in the experiencing of man

To everyone who opens himself to the helps of the Light there hasten in earthly life great and small happenings, in order to strengthen him and to give him room for a further, still swifter pressing forward

And in all this there work continually the threads issuing from the Grail, that is, from the place in which for all creatures in Creation everything is to be found

It is therefore right when it is said that not even a hair falls from the head without this having also been contained beforehand in the Will of God

This picture brings the explanation that everything has its beginning in the Grail, in which for this Creation there dwells the Will of God, adapted to the conditions of the life here

The Will of God in the all-embracing nature of the Light and of Life forms the frame for every happening taking place in Creation

And the Light pouring forth from the Grail brings the entire foundation for the arising, the course and the release of all happenings

In the said release there are always to be found, in the most perfect union, the Love and the Justice of God, which works with exactness for spiritual flowering and ascent

Earthmen are not aware of even a thousandth part of how they are cared for in every moment of their day

All that they may experience in life and all that is fulfilled for them as the welcome, or perhaps afterwards even unwanted, fulfilments of their small and great wishes, all this is woven out of the life-giving Light, which makes it possible to bring to realisation that state which is called by men their daily experiencing

Nothing is a chance concurrence of happenings, but everything has exactly fashioned courses along which every flicker of human volition is fulfilled to its realisation

And because in everything, beside the working Justice of God, there is also inseparably contained the Love of God, all this can be called nothing other than a happening beneficial to the human spirit

In every experience man can thus, in the openness of his spirit, recognise how and through what the Will of God speaks to him by way of the lawful effects of the happenings

For this very purpose he is to hold within himself that openness and that childlike simple perceiving which can direct and lead him to the connection with the helps of the Light

Just as everything is fulfilled to the smallest particle in the Justice of God, so there comes to the spirit continually loving help and protection from the Grail, which works for him only if he is able to open himself to it through the receptivity of his looking upon the world

The protection of the Grail is always with him in the working of the threads of luminous happening, which gives to the human spirit that which is most needful, that which he upon his path just then urgently requires for his ascent

That which is within him and around him is to speak to him with a clear voice for the understanding of the further direction of his path

Therein mankind is to be granted a great understanding in the handling of the gift of free will, which the spirit received from the Creator

The free will of man is a weighty instrument which the spirit is permitted to wield, and with which it therefore also urgently needs to learn, in inner receptivity, to deal rightly

It is a supremely precious instrument, which however demands to be made one's own and to be well mastered through the virtues and the nobility of the volition of the spirit

For the recognising of this gift there is now here a time which in an intensified manner will bring to men the immediate experiencing of the consequences of their own volition, whether singly or at the same time also to the whole of mankind

We are in a time which may be called a heightened watch of the Grail over the use of that precious thing which his own free will is to man

The time of heightened watch is enforced by the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, which intensifies and accelerates everything

This heightened watch is in reality again nothing but a protection for everyone, for in the most direct effectiveness it will for a certain time lead each one to the clear recognition that the determiner of his paths is he himself alone and no one else

In the manner in which man in his openness hearkens to the guidance from the Light, he may learn to use his instrument of free will rightly for harmony and for a creating blessed by God

Many helps incline themselves in Creation towards the human spirit, for in spite of its waverings and its multitude of gross transgressions it is still perceived as a spiritual child of Creation

Thus it may be spoken of the greatest part of the human spirits who fill the planes of the Subsequent Creation

Only a certain number of spirits have truly succumbed to the wrong influences of the darkness, and these are heading towards, or have already reached, the point of the complete disintegration of their consciousness, from which there is no return

The greatest part of the human sparks, however, is still waging the struggle for its continuance, which lies in the full blazing up of its spiritual flame

But the time draws near when the unconscious part of being must be recast into the maturity of the fully self-conscious human spiritual flame

Indeed this time is already here

It strikes and hammers upon the inner being of human perceiving, that it may awaken and recognise that the gift from the Creator, which lies in the free will of its own deciding, demands the rendering of all accounts and at the same time the swift mastering of the right use of it

Out of the accounts already made nothing can be erased or struck out, because the threads of volition cannot overstep that which arose in the Laws of the Holy Spirit – Imanuel, that is, in the Laws of the Will of God

Imanuel is an independent part of the Will of God, appointed for this work of Creation just as it is appointed also for all further Creations which have arisen out of the radiation of the Love and Graciousness of God and which shall ever yet arise to their life

Through his connection with God all that comes to pass in Creation is fulfilled

Parzival, in whom Imanuel works, is the direct mediator of the Will of God for everything that is to be found in the work of Creation from the Grail to the most distant uninhabited planes, where again only the animistic works in the protection of the radiated space of the work of Creation

Thus Parzival is the one with whom, through the Laws of Creation, everything converges and at the same time also judges itself automatically

Nothing is erased, nothing has been lost

The Will of God working in the Laws of Creation permits nothing of the kind, for this Law is an inseparable part of the great harmony of the Work of God

This was already expressed in the words of the Son of God Jesus, when He said that sins against God may be forgiven, but that sins against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven

Thus in other words, whatever arises in the Laws of Creation must always come to fulfilment in the reciprocal action towards the spirit that has offended through wrong dealing against the harmony of the work of Creation

Nothing is ever erased before it has returned and been redeemed with the one who laid something into the Laws of Creation through his volition

If that which was laid in stood in opposition to good, then it must return as a homogeneous vibration of the threads in the originator's own life

Not even the smallest thing remains without redemption, but it returns in happenings which bring experiences of whose origin man often no longer knows anything at all

Perfect Justice nevertheless brings it into his path exactly at the right time

At the same time, however, there is here the effect of the Love of God, which works graciously for man so that the happenings which return to him do not bring him spiritual destruction, so long as a sufficient glow of the life of his spark still burns within him

It is something which man in the compass of his perceiving will never fully grasp, for he can never survey the course of the threads which run through the whole work of Creation in order one day to return to him

Thus is man fully immersed therein

He is a part of the happening out of which he cannot step, but in which he can always with full trust find help and strengthening, so long as the longing for a pure and good life burns within him

Through the effect of the Love of God much of these happenings contained in the threads can be lightened in that, with the most highly pure volition of man, they are in the end fulfilled only symbolically

That is the help and protection hitherto unrecognised by men, which flows down to them in the streams of Light descending from the Grail

The Love of God fulfils itself in Creation through the protection from the Grail

Those who know are also aware of who it is that works this Love of God in the halls of the Grail

And this Love of God works in stillness as a helping principle, which brings to the man who strives towards good the possibility of redeeming sins and past failings through symbolic expiations

The Love of God weaves in the possibility of the symbolic redemption of all threads which would otherwise bring very heavy reciprocal effects

This is the only way for many a man still to be able to bear at all everything that now draws near to him out of his past times in the heightened working of the Light

Nothing of that which now appears and of that which will yet announce itself in manifold strength is thereby any injustice or arbitrariness, but everything is solely and only the result of each man's own volition

That the spirit may stand firm therein, it may in its most ardent attunement of pure volition beseech the Grail for protection and help in the overcoming of all difficulties

And only the purity of his inner being, which once and for all excludes anything filled with baseness, may bring to the spirit those helps which, like a protecting radiation, spread themselves over his own karmic experiencing

Thereby it is made possible for the spirit to experience with sufficient receptivity all that returns to him, while at the same time that which returns does not crush him with the weight which today lies therein with almost all men

If men could but sense all that lies around them every day, waiting for the opportunity of the discharge of the reciprocal action, and all that is in the end dissolved by the helps of the Light into a symbolic happening, they would continually call out words of thanks, and on no further day would this calling ever come to an end

So much is there that now returns for the recognition of the seriousness of the handling of the gift of free will

There is so much of it that, were the immeasurable loving protection of the Grail to cease working therein for but a moment, many a man would in a single day have to face the earthly destruction of his body several times over

And yet that which would otherwise crush his body and his health leads him, thanks to the special happenings of the helps, only to the experiencing of a single pain or a small peril in the course of the day

Man does not see it and therefore does not value it in the least

Indeed, when something of the said symbolic redemption befalls him and brings him even but a momentary pain or a small hindrance to the plans of his imaginings, he at once feels himself restricted and cries out how it is possible that such things happen to him and why the Light does not think of him more in its kindness with help and protection

He does not suspect thereby that through something small which entered his experiencing and for a brief while turned him aside from his everyday haste, it was just then made possible for him to redeem some returning long-past offence of his against the harmony of the Laws of Creation

Instead of rejoicing that a wise guidance of his threads of fate is at work therein, he considers himself a victim of outward happenings which, according to his thinking, assail him and hinder the fulfilment of his present volition

Yet in even the smallest thing that happens, as for example when a man unexpectedly breaks one of his belongings, or in spite of his attentiveness causes himself a small pain at his work, in all this there work threads which return to him in symbolic redemption many a past happening

He can see therein nothing but the help and protection of the wise and loving Laws of Creation

But alas it has become an ingrained thing that man feels himself only restricted by these happenings and is not able to realise all that is contained within them

Man wishes to move through life unrestricted, in the belief that to him of all men nothing evil should return from the paths of his past lives

He fancies that he has a claim to this, for surely he has no weak places in his past, and therefore he thinks that what befalls him is a vexatious hindrance which enters his way unjustly, like chance spitefulness out of the outer world from the darkness, from other men, or perhaps from the animistic servants, while he strives with all his strength to be good and helpful to other men

For the most part he is offended by it and is not far from querulous grumbling, because he sees nothing of that which really stands behind it and of that which, despite its discharge in a merely symbolic happening, could in reality have destroyed him utterly had it come in its original strength

He does not suspect that precisely because he strives in his life to be good and helpful towards other men, this striving of his brings to him threads which may then be untied symbolically merely in the experiencing of small difficulties and delays

Thus do we walk through life and know nothing of these happenings, wherein precisely in many small things there are contained heavy discharging threads of past offences

And when then some of these threads demand a truly serious experiencing, there fall upon man at once with full weight happenings which within a moment change his life

Then a grave change in his hitherto existing health overtakes him, or there is fulfilled a happening which with a serious break alters his further experiencing of life

Within a moment the threads bring a change which entirely upsets all his hitherto existing plans of life

Only then is the man who has knowledge of the Laws of Creation able to reflect upon why this befalls him, and he thinks that it is that past which he evidently must expiate

Only then is he able to perceive that the fulfilment of the return of the threads of the past is truly taking place

Not for a moment does he realise that throughout the whole time of his life before that much had returned to him, but that he did not perceive it and held it to be a vexation and a delay in his plans

Instead of experiencing joy at how the Love of God makes it possible for him in every moment to transform much of his wrong volition out of the distant past into a symbolic expiation, he thinks that all this is a burden which does not belong to him and merely assails him from without, without his having given any cause for it

He does not think of that wise reference that not even a hair of a man falls without its having its foundation in some beginning which thereafter merely unfolds in the wisdom of the Will of God

He does not think that in the ripening of his spirit he is in fact still like a child standing within the protecting working of the Grail, and that he has always cause to give thanks for the lasting helps which work through the Love of God in every moment of his life

He will value all this when one day he may stand with a wider view in brighter worlds, if thanks to the bright blazing of his spirit it is made possible for him to ascend into them

Only with a great distancing from the earthly world will the soul experience in the brighter planes that recognition that everything to the last particle was the great fulfilment of threads which are woven in the lawful course of the Will of God in Creation solely for the help and protection of the spirit, that it may be permitted to attain the blissful gardens of the spiritual home in Paradise

We are now in a time when everything out of the past contained in the threads of men returns in intensified measure for redemption and for the living through of it

Everything rolls on with overwhelming force, and around man there is a host of experiences out of his past times demanding an accelerated redemption

In the pure attunement of man lies the key for this to be permitted to take place in accelerated fashion only in symbolic experiencing

A pure and joyful attunement in openness is the condition for the human spirit to be permitted to stand within the protecting working of the Grail and, in the present intensified current, to be able in a single day to lay aside a thousandfold threads out of the past

Like a child filled with joy he can move forward upon his path in that he uses the present strong currents flowing to this universe in the Ray of Parzival as an unprecedented help for the accelerated liberating and ripening of his spirit

It is in the highest degree simple, and nothing else is needed for it than to bear within oneself as a lasting foundation the pure and joyful volition of the spirit

Everyone who now proves himself in the blazing of his spirit to be a joyful child of Creation may now be certain that around him there is the protection and the help of the Grail

The help is around him and works for him with the highest wisdom, that he may be permitted to free himself and to grow strong in his spirit

In this liberating there is contained for him everything he needs in order always to have at his side the inspirations of his spiritual leaders, who may help him through the intuitive impressions of noble volition

The childlikeness resting within the spark is now to blaze up into the bright flame of the noble mature working of the human spirit

Whoever takes within himself the step towards true childlikeness, which lies in openness towards the guidance from the Light, may expect help and protection from the Grail

All other endeavours will soon show themselves to be a striving out of which no blessing can blossom

Mankind will be led by the Light to the true path of the recognition of God and of His Will, which manifests itself in the Laws of Creation

Only in this recognition will the true blessing arise, together with the openness of the spirit, for individual men and for the whole earthly world

Before that, however, the intensifying Ray of Parzival will bring the purification of the earth

The purification now running its course will at the same time mediate liberation for all who are alive in spirit

Let everyone who wishes to pass through this period victoriously with his spirit open himself in prayer to the helps and to the protection of the Light, and let him not forget to work continually upon the unfolding of the liveliness of his intuitive perceiving
