The Light overcomes all adversity and brings to the earth a healing revival

With its power of attraction it works upon all life and helps it to raise itself above the existing state

In the effect of this raising upward it dissolves at the same time the heavy crust of spiritual immobility which still lies upon this earth

The Light overcomes all that which has hitherto persisted upon earth and made impossible the upward flight of the spirit

It is not an overcoming in a battle which surges now to the one side and now to the other, as men often imagine it, but it is one victorious campaign of a power of Divine kind, which is judging and at the same time also directly helping everywhere there where in the experiencing a volition towards the better is born

Such is the Law working out of the Light, that the grace contained within it unites with those places where, under heavy experiencing, the inner being of men has opened for the receiving of a higher kind of purity and of kindness

In the advance of the Light the darkness is ever more crowded out, it is pushed back in its sphere of activity, and its connection can take place only with those men who deliberately seek it out through impure inclinations which they still tenaciously hold within themselves as something base and false

In such men the pressure of the luminous power then intensifies, and ever more it threatens them that at any moment it will discharge itself, much as the lightning flashes forth out of the tension of a storm cloud

The stroke will bring a collision in which the Light always stands unshakably victorious

Yet despite the strokes which it brings in the upheavals of the lives of men and also of nature, the Light works judging and healing at one and the same time

Under the individual striking blows the oppressive wall which hitherto separated the earthly world of mankind from the other parts of the work of Creation yields ever more

Where the oppressive crust of spiritual immobility now gradually yields, there the Light at once pours into those places to help, so that the human souls which for a long time suffered darkness and cold may at last be surrounded by the warming torches of the rays of dawn

The overcoming of the world by the Light brings liberation to an ever greater number of places upon earth

The Light calls forth happenings leading to the raising upward, if only the soil for it in man is prepared and makes a homogeneous anchoring possible

Such a place, that is to say prepared soil, is every brighter thought, every intuitive vibration in the longing for a joyful joining with other men for the purpose of forming a harmonious life upon earth

Everything which bears within itself as its foundation a pure striving towards the good is strengthened, so that it may wholly awaken to a life which then presses ever more fervently upward towards spiritual consciousness and thereby towards God

Overcome and permanently defeated there thus remains only the darkness in its evil principle, and together with it also all that was born out of this principle and is even now still being born

Like a heavy sludge and a dense fog the darkness still lies today temporarily upon this earth

Yet gradually, through the effect of the Light, all that is dark will be completely dissolved

After the first impacts the hands of the animistic servants, released by the Will of God, will be able to begin their work, in order themselves to complete the happening and then to hurl even the last parts of the principle of darkness from this earth into the depths of perdition

Through the universe the Light spreads out from the starting point of all worlds, from the Castle of the Grail

Like the dawning of morning it presses the darkness down into ever deeper lowlands

In the nearness of the earth there still remains a belt of the dark kind, which holds itself here through the volition of a part of mankind

But even this darkness clinging stubbornly to the men upon earth is being pressed down by the luminous power, and ever less space is permitted to it for its working

Writhing under the rays of the Light, the tempting creatures nevertheless still seek at the last moment to create the impression of their dominion over mankind

That which has remained upon earth of the original darkness seeks, by way of the paths it has trodden out over thousands of years and with the help of its subjugated servants, to call forth in men fear, anxiety and hopelessness, for it knows that under these thought forms man is most vulnerable, that he is most easily shaken in his trust in the Light and in the good unfolding of the happening which always comes from God

And thus the remaining, rolling tatters of the darkness wish still at the last moment to call forth in the men upon earth the impression that everything still moves within their claws and that the good-natured volition of many men will be destroyed by them

The delusion which is thereby created works upon all who seek the indicator of good or of evil only in the earthly visible happenings in the human world

Here the remaining darkness has taken hold most strongly and works like a hypnotic upon all who succumb to it

Thus the outlook generally used by men, which is directed only to the earthly visible happenings, observes in the approaching discharge of the last forces of the darkness, at first glance, an apparent intensification of dark activity

It appears as though the darkness wished to encompass everything, and outwardly it thus paints an impressive picture of preponderance in society

It manifests itself there where it always had good rooting among men upon earth, around money, in politics, in warfare, but also in culture, in the philosophical views of material humanism, in the freethinking of liberalism and in much else

This, however, is only here close to the earth, where the gross material life is fulfilled

But a small degree above this gross material and earthly perceiving the Light already rules fully in its liberating radiance

It suffices, therefore, for man only to swing himself a little higher in the longing for the inward gaining of the Truth and of the Light, and at once a strong radiance of liberating recognition can stream to his inner being

There is therefore here a fundamental dividing line among men

Whoever remains in hopelessness, whoever experiences anxiety and despair, he still moves in the misty thought haze of unknowingness which is to be found only close to the earth and is ruled by the influence of the remaining darkness

But only a little higher above this low nebula the Light already shines in full power, it brings refreshment, and with its kindness it warms everything to recovery and brings vistas of a new life to every creature

And this new life also brings for every creature the demand for a decision of “either or”

Either towards the Light, towards the origin, where joy and knowing recognition blaze, or a remaining in the existing twilight of unknowingness, in which the greater part of today's mankind moves, resembling thereby confused insects senselessly hastening after things which have no lasting values

This earnest decision, whether the Light bringing enlightenment can flow to man, is the work of the inner intuitive movement of each of men individually

It holds good for every earthman that he may now, in the all-overcoming working of the Light, awaken and become free, provided only that he develops for it sufficient of his inner power

It suffices only to experience the inner call gushing forth out of a brighter volition joined with inner trust and courage, and as by a wonder such a man is borne up above the belt of nebula which still encircles the nearest surroundings of the earth

The fog around him, which enveloped and constricted him, parts, and at once the first rays of hope flash to him, bringing the way out for the thousands of questions of his spiritual inner being

This is no describing of pictures in poetic exaggeration and floweriness, but it is the most genuine reality which everyone can observe who may behold with inner sight the present happening in this part of the universe of the Subsequent Creation

It is therefore not the imagery merely of something which is an inner happening in man, but it is the most real spiritual happening which now fulfils itself in the intensifying Ray of Parzival above this earth

The Light overcomes this world in the finer planes of the spiritual and of the soul degree and draws ever nearer also to the denser coverings of matter, in order finally to manifest itself also upon the plane of gross materiality in the earthly world

Now it is the struggle of man upon the plane of inner rebirth and of the awakening of trust in the All-Wisdom of God

It is still made possible for each of the men upon earth to awaken and, in the intuitive sensing of the approaching happening, yet to set out upon the path of a genuine striving for a pure harmonious life

It lies with each man individually how he will experience and grasp all this

Whether he will swing himself higher in order to unite with the influx of the happy rescuing effect of the Light, or whether in his immobility he will remain drowning in the endless darkness of ignorance and of blindness of the spirit

Whoever remains in his thoughts attuned to the material happening which takes place in the narrow ponderousness always bound up with it, he sinks downward in the limitation of his outlook and is threatened with the Light no longer being able to unite with him in order to mediate to him the necessary strengthening which each of men now needs

Even though the Light draws ever closer to mankind upon earth, yet many men withdraw from its quickening rays

These men despair and it seems to them that they have been left forsaken and without help, at the mercy of all the intrigues of ill-disposed fellow citizens

The state which they experience, however, is only the consequence of their inability to emerge out of the nebula of the fragmentation of the world of thoughts and of feelings, which lies upon the earth with an unprecedented tenacious adhesion

Whoever, therefore, is permanently immersed only in the beholding of the earthly and of all that is bound up with it, he remains stuck in the nebula which still belongs temporarily to the darkness, which revels in it in the ever stronger forming of the shapes of fear and of hopelessness

This nebula is at present a great haunt of furies and demons, which goad men into their weaknesses, in which many then groundlessly persist only because no brighter ray bringing awakening can penetrate to them

In many men the needed homogeneity with the Light is not to be found, and thereby these find themselves in a state of severance from the helping blessing

Such men lack the influx of power towards something brighter, and they remain immersed in the grip of the darkness

Despite the fact that many are not so very bad, through their lukewarmness they nevertheless become victims of the evil influences of the darkness

Yet it would suffice for them only to experience a strong inner decision in the longing for a purer, more intuitive life, and at once that layer of nebula would be irradiated by a bright Ray of Light bringing hope and the way out

At this time there is no greater contrast than that which shows how the Light works for the liberation of the spiritually awakened and at the same time how the darkness draws in around those who resist the Light and seek to hide from it

The Light, however, overcomes the world, and thus it will finally penetrate even into those hiding places in which unhappy human souls seek to postpone their moment of meeting with the Light and with the Truth

Despite all the efforts of the souls defiled by impurity, which seek to overturn the development wherein the liberation even of the most distant planes of the Subsequent Creation is contained beforehand, the Will of God now casts, through the radiation of Parzival, into all worlds enlightenment and the liberation of all who bear within themselves the precondition for betterment

And only the truly dark souls are now given over to the gearing which turns inexorably in the fulfilment of the Judgment of God, and for these unhappy spiritual sparks, which in their turning away from a pure life have become worthy of rejection, the hope of their further being is already almost extinguished

To all the others, however, the Light with its all-overcoming power now brings a purification which, despite the painful experiencing in which all that is wrong and false in man needs to burn away, at the same time offers in the loving-kindness of God the healing of wounds and thereby also a new vista upon the path to the spiritual home

He need not fear for his being who bears within himself at the same time the courage for change together with a fervent longing to renew his pure striving to become a reborn man

In his courage and in his resolve to take the step towards a true inwardly fully valuable life there already lies much relief, for in the Ray of Parzival of the Light there is at the same time also the Ray of Maria – the Rose, who now, everywhere there where genuineness in betterment is to be found in men, sends forth streams of the healing radiation of Love

Thus the Light overcomes one degree in the Subsequent Creation after another and clears the way for a newly blossoming life, to whose radiance and strengthening vibration mankind upon earth has become wholly unaccustomed

Mankind drowns in that which it itself created over thousands of years in the world of thoughts and in the gross material world around it as the environment in which, now at the end of this path, it is compelled to live

The animistic had in many places to withdraw from this world of men and waited for the influx of the Light which would break open for it the way to a new activity

Without this Light human striving too has within itself no power for the change of that which it created upon this earth under the influence of the principle of temptation and of dark volition

Were it to remain without the Light, mankind would never be able to change the direction of its development for the better, for that which it created has outgrown it many times over and threatens to destroy it both earthly and spiritually

The victorious advance of the Light, which overcomes the darkness, is therefore a liberation also for those men who now in their ignorance will at first resist the effects of the Light, because for the most part they have become unaccustomed to its radiance and purity

Their spiritual raiment is too grey, and under the luminous ray this greyness comes before the eyes of all

Many men therefore fear that from one day to the next they will be perceived by their fellow men otherwise than their hitherto standing in human society appears

They fear a fall in their earthly standing, and therefore they subconsciously resist the influx of the illuminating ray

Enlightenment, however, must come

It is done by the Light for the whole of earthly mankind for its benefit, in spite of the childish resistance to the pressure which arises with it

In this pressure of the Light, which rests in the gradual intensifying of the Ray of Parzival, there is contained a power which has the might to liberate all that is animistic and spiritual to be found upon this small planet

Thereby there will come a healing in the hitherto suffering world of nature, and this healing will in return bring to man also those powers and abilities which he lost in his hitherto eking out of existence in soul and in body

The Light will bring the renewal of the lost powers, so that nature and man may awaken to a new life in which long-lasting health and above all full value in every moment of life will prevail

It should therefore be welcomed with joy, and as an answer to all the influxes of quickening blessing into the lives of men there should be a prayer of thanks to God, that He has sent forth a part of his radiation into these distant parts of his work

And so it will also come to pass, and those who truly experience the new indrawing of breath of their inner being towards awakening and towards the liberation of the powers of their spirit, they will gradually ever more joyfully extol the happening which is now taking place in the finer planes above their heads

But also in the direct nearness around them things are already beginning to happen which can by no means be called a usual happening

It comes not as a punishment, of which chiefly religious visionaries and fanatics speak, but as a necessary shift in the happening, wherein everything needful for the further development of mankind upon this earth is contained

There comes a development which is predestined towards a more spiritual manner of life

This is a lawful happening, and with it there enters into the nearness of the earth, together with the radiation of the Ray of Parzival, the Light, which as the preliminary stage of the further development purifies all that exists and frees it from the past, which hitherto upon this earth made it impossible to begin with the ascent of individuals and of mankind as a whole

The overcoming of this world by the Light which draws near should be experienced by men as a gracious gift of the Creator, which brings them liberation from the oppressive and not seldom humanly unworthy conditions of life upon earth

There comes liberation from all that was created under the pressure of the darkness by men who opened themselves to the principle of Lucifer and accepted it as their manner of volition

To those who did not unite with this principle, but in despair and often at the very limit of their inner powers sought to resist it, the Light brings the vista of consolation in the establishing of new conditions of life upon earth

The happening which comes is truly a work of redemption of the Light, whose value in all its consequences men will appreciate only at a distance of time, when that intensifying Light becomes acceptable to their inner being just as man needs to grow accustomed to the rays of the sun when he steps out of the chill of the shade

It is strange withal how many men suppose that they already beforehand are to belong to this world purified by the Light, while their fellow men in their view belong in the abyss of perdition

No man is to thrust himself into the role of judge, for it belongs to not a single one of them

Judgments of this kind are rash and in a certain direction so naively foolish that the Light must regard such reflections only as a sign of the great immaturity of the men who think in this way

Instead of the highest striving for their own ascent and ennobling, many men pass judgment upon their fellow wayfarers upon earth and often wish them only destruction, which is of course to come from the hand of the Holy Judge sent by the Creator

This judge, however, will among other things strike the frostiness of the hearts of those who wish their fellow men nothing helpful, who show to this world not even a particle of kindness, of friendliness and of a smile towards other men

It is sad how greatly men confuse the sacred meaning of the Judgment of God with the settling of their own accounts with others, so that according to them anyone who is not sufficiently acceptable to their conceptions is at once to be condemned by God and cast into destruction

Such men suppose that with this attunement which they bear within themselves they will be welcome in the world purified by the Light

In reality they do not differ in the least from the mediaeval torturers of their fellow men, who, appealing to God, hated those who would not be subjected to them and sought to go through life by their own ways

They do only a great deal of harm everywhere there where they but appear with their impurity and at the same time with their loud appeals to God

To the majority of men, however, they are a matter of indifference, if they are not indeed held to be the ridiculous figures of their time

Men who truly perceive intuitively with their inner being can easily recognise that the true working of the Light always goes only by those courses which unite within themselves justice and love in the single all-wise consonance of the Will of God

It is the determiner of the courses of the fulfilment of all happening, and the liveliness working within it, which works beyond human comprehension, opens space for everyone who wishes to unite in his inner being with the Light, even were it in the last possible moment of the rescue of his threads of fate

The Light overcomes the world

Yet everything comes otherwise than men have hitherto always imagined it and than many still imagine it

The advance of the Light is redemption, judgment, purification and loving strengthening all at once in a single union

Which of this will step forth to this or that man as the most strongly perceptible for him, that each one decides for himself

Man can also himself change this until the last moment for the better, or even for the worse, if he so decides

Therefore it was said that the first shall be the last and the last the first

In this picture there is caught that livingness of the happening which fulfils itself in every moment of man's deciding

The Light comes and overcomes the world

Some men may perceive it as an unexpected pressure of an unpleasant kind, if they stand against the Creator and against the values proceeding from him

At the same time other men will perceive the advancing Light as a liberating influx of power which they never before experienced and which will awaken in them joy with the intuitive sensing of the approaching fully valuable life for which they waited a long time

Never will men be able to give thanks enough that the Light now frees them from their confusion and from the thought morass which they created and out of which, without a higher intervention, they would never have raised themselves upward by themselves

Only the newly born men will look back upon it as truly a decisive time of rescue from the complete destruction of life upon this earth

Out of their prayers there will then rise a true fervent thanks towards the Creator, towards Holy God, and also towards the Administrator of the work of Creation, Parzival, chosen by Him, who, called to this work, went forth out of the halls of the Castle of the Grail, so that his Ray, like a sword of Light, might bring liberation into the far distances of the worlds, to which this universe with the small planet earth also belongs
