Divine wisdom rules the worlds in their age-old lawful movement and development

So it is

It may be said that it never was otherwise, and that it never will be otherwise

The movements and the development of the said worlds, however, and also the lives of all the creatures to be found in these worlds, unroll otherwise than men have hitherto imagined

In human conceptions of God there are many things wrongly grasped, and therefore it may be said that the greatest part of those who reflect upon the divine wisdom working in the work of Creation are in error

And often precisely those men too who deeply believe in God

The happening in the work of Creation is far simpler and plainer than men expect

Everything takes place in one single great, all-embracing flowing of happenings, which we may call the one unified Life of the work of Creation

Everything is this Life, which contains within itself all-embracingly the past, the present and the future

Past, present and future are unitedly joined through the fulfilment of the Laws of the Will of God in Creation

It holds good, then, that the Wisdom of God knows long in advance the further development of all the happenings of which, in the worlds to be found in the work of Creation, there is at that moment not the slightest inkling

It is because everything happens within the great framework of the work of Creation, in which there work as load-bearing pillars the perfect Laws, which were radiated out of the Divine at the moment of the very first arising of Creation

These pillars absorb into themselves and thereafter further form all that arises as the line of being of all the inhabitants of the work of Creation

Vibrating within the Laws of the Will of God, everything in Creation is thus one single happening, in which the past reaches into the present and shapes the future

Thus already now it is consciously known in the divine realm what will come to manifestation deep down in the material planes of the work of Creation in ten, in a hundred, indeed in a thousand years, and of which today not one of men has the slightest inkling

Not, however, what will come in individual partial happenings, but what will take place in the main direction of the development

And precisely the little world of men, in which alas many still see today the centre of all happening in the universe, is that partial thing which will also at last submit to the main direction of the development

Everything will at last yield to the higher power which, proceeding from the Divine, rules and leads the worlds in great circles of development, of which as yet almost nothing is known upon earth

The human world does not wish to take into its understanding that interweaving of happenings which is a necessary part of the Justice of God, out of whose reach no creature can step

In its abiding presence that interweaving of happenings at the same time consistently follows also the measure of the participation of creatures in the development of particulars, and thereby determines further for each creature his fate

This lawful happening determines in the highest naturalness all that will unroll in the threads of fate of each individual as well as of the whole

It is precisely this interweaving of happenings and of what will unroll out of them that is decisive for the whole development of all the inhabitants of the work of Creation

Therefore there are so many calls from the Light which urge that men should draw near to consonance with the Creator's purpose

The Creator's purpose is in this precisely that unceasingly working Harmony which leads and strengthens all life in the work of Creation, so that it may strive only towards vibrating together in peace and in the creative consonance of good volition

The divine All-Wisdom perceives, both in the greatest circles of world development and likewise in the seemingly trifling happening forming itself out of the previously radiated volition of a single man, at the same time also the consequence of the necessary continuation of that which will one day come to pass

Everything flows, develops, presses forward in its ordinance, or on the contrary slows down and passes away, exactly according to the Laws which give to it all a clear order, and thereby an unshakable Justice for everything that is

And in this unrolling of all the living happenings there is fulfilled over men and over all the worlds that great Will of God, which bears within it unceasingly the purpose of the Creator

The Will of God appears thereby as a gentle helper, as an all-healing physician, at the same time as the judge and the executor of the pronounced fate even of the smallest particle of life, as well as of the greatest world-parts and of all the subdivisions to be found within the world-parts

But all this needs to be grasped otherwise than has hitherto been the case

Above all, men cannot bind their understanding of the Wisdom of God only to this subdivision of materiality, to which the universe and this tiny earth belong

These conceptions have been and still are approached wrongly by men upon earth, for the human spirit too is not bound only to this earthly world, but through his inward nature he himself is bound to a manifold greater history of the whole work of Creation than appears here on earth at first sight

Therein lies the first failure of understanding of a great part of men

The threads of fate stretch for a man out of the past through the present into the future, whereby precisely the past and the future, in their greatest measure, in their fulfilment almost never belong to this part of the world

The very beginning of the human spirit reaches far further into the past and also far higher into other spheres

He comes from places where, after the first unfolding, no decomposition is necessary, as is the case here on earth, but where everything in its nature is unceasingly and without interruption radiated through by the inflow of the divine Power, and in its spiritual kind can thus endure for ever

To these places the human spirit belongs by his nature, and here too the promise of eternity is given him

But only if in his development towards maturity in the Subsequent Creation he does not lose himself in the erring search for the little lights of transient happiness offered him by the world of the materialities

If he turns aside from the right path of his course, he goes astray and loses his claim to eternity

The outcome of the path of development is decided by the strength of the flame of the spirit, which needs to be mature and bright, in consonance with the harmony of the whole work of Creation

If he so wills it and also governs himself accordingly here on earth as well, he can look with trust towards an endlessness of being in wholly other planes of the spiritual kind, which we may call the abiding future of the whole work of Creation

Creation is in its possibilities and also in its vastness the divine Work, which surpasses the comprehension of all hitherto human thoughts influenced by the earthly world

Men in reality do not know of the work of Creation even a hundredth part of the true extent of its greatness, and above all of the perfect glory to be found in it

Here on earth nothing is known of the true boundlessness of all the forms of beauty to be found in the individual planes

The consciousness of man thus comes almost always, in the first moment, close to dissolving in the all-overpowering harmony which pervades all the places of perfect beauty in the gardens of the spiritual home, when the spirit is permitted to enter these places

Only thereafter does the arriving spirit gain in strength, so that on the contrary he experiences fully his blissful self-consciousness in those places of the beauty of perfect Harmony

Of all this nothing is known

Neither is anything known of the fact that although this work of Creation has its beginning, it has no end appointed by the Creator

This too is hard to grasp for earthly understanding, because precisely here in the material universe everything that arises contains within it both a beginning and an end

This, however, comes about because all this proceeds only from the continuing Subsequent Creation, which never received the promise of endurance without end

Endlessness thus holds good for the Primordial Creation, which is wholly, at its foundation, only of spiritual origin

Nevertheless many a man will carry within him doubt about the concept of endlessness

For the understanding of the promise of the endlessness of the endurance of the work of Creation, the inner being of man needs to bear within it trust in the Loving-Kindness of God

If the spiritual division of Creation as a whole vibrates harmoniously and unceasingly in the divine Light, then, despite its being a created work, it can endure eternally

If it is unceasingly confirmed by the life of the inhabitants of the Primordial Creation that this work, proceeding directly out of the Will of the Creator, is a good work, then everything living in it that strives towards the good has a claim to the eternity of its being

But this alone is something incomprehensible for the intellect, for the intellect cannot rightly place into its reflections about the endlessness of being precisely the magnitude of the Love of God

And yet only this constant Love of Divine origin gives to the whole life of the inhabitants of the work of Creation meaning and hope in the promise of the endlessness of endurance

The promise of the endlessness of being, as the endlessness of Life in the work of Creation, arose out of the Love of God, and only out of this Love also is it a real manifestation of life through Parzival, the guardian of the sacred Vessel of the Grail, which takes into Creation the new power flowing in from the Divine

The work of Creation, as a matured whole proceeding from the incomprehensibility of the purpose of the Love of God, therefore has before it, in Parzival and in the Grail, a future without the need to fear the prospect of an end

In the radiation of the Love of God there is contained endurance for all life in Creation which vibrates in harmony with the Will of God

In this recognition it is also possible to find the right distinction between the manifold more comprehensive spiritual existence and the narrowly limited earthly life in its bounded transience

In it, too, man could recognise his real great task, which he himself here on earth alas all too greatly drags down into a trifling narrowness through his temporary, constricted and earthbound perception of the world

Millions of men suffer from earthly boundness, because they have submitted to the prevailing opinion which asserts that everything real is only that which is material

The shortness of earthly life crushes the inner being of man, which divines the possibility of the endlessness of being

Over the greater part of earthly mankind there rules today an intellectual understanding of the world and of human life itself

If, however, man lifts his gaze higher, then with his inner being he will recognise how everything in Creation flows within a wholly different kind of conception of time

He will also recognise how the Will of God manifests in the ruling of all happening in the whole work of Creation

From the beginning of Creation God has at hand, for all the fulfilment of His Will, hosts of devoted servants who fulfil to the last particle the effects of all the lawful happenings in Creation

God has no need to intervene personally in the individual lives of men or of other creatures, to whom there happen in life things that lead and direct them further through space and time

For all this He has in all places the said faithful servants, who in the fulfilment of a perfect all-wisdom direct it so that all that is sown returns to the place of its origin

These faithful servants are all those who belong to the animistic species in Creation

In the Primordially Eternal planes of the Light, thus above the materialities, they are first of all the animistic servants known as angels, bearing within them the primordially created power from God granted them for their activity

In the luminous spiritual heights of the Primordial Creation, and in part also in the most luminous ethereal planes of the Subsequent Creation, the spiritual species too belongs to the hosts of those who faithfully serve God

The further it is, however, from the Starting-point of the Light, the less trustworthy and faithful is the spiritual species in its service for the Creator

Therefore here on earth we find in the end so much wilfulness and, as a result, also a wholly ungood volition in human conduct

It comes from the weakness within many men

God withal remains wholly remote from all the petty earthly bickering, which in its expressions only reflects for the most part the immaturity and also the lukewarmness of the spiritual spark of the human inner being

Unlike the animistic, which through its very nature bears within it an abiding devotion to the Creator, since it has no free will of its own, it is precisely the human spirit who, through the independence in deciding bestowed upon him, is unreliable and often, in the wilfulness of his own volition, goes against the Laws in the work of Creation

It is therefore not the human spirit here on earth who takes part in the ruling of the worlds in consonance with the Will of God, but it is the animistic species of servants, led by the lawful movement and thereby by the development of the happening in consonance with the Will of God

All human working takes place always solely and only within the boundaries formed by the animistic, which thereby faithfully fulfils the Will of God

That is something which mankind still lacks for a true understanding of the Will of the Creator, which works everywhere in Creation

Human working takes place within the boundaries marked out by the Will of God

The present-day understanding of men confirms that the greater part of men suppose something else

And this holds good even when men themselves say that they believe it is the Will of God which rules the worlds

Many men do indeed say it, but they know nothing of the essence which lies therein

It is therefore not a God hovering in the clouds in the universe above this little earth with everything that is upon it, thus also with men themselves, but it is something far greater and more perfect, which reaches into everything visible and invisible with the unswerving consistency of the fulfilling Laws

God is far removed from this dim world of men

Not because He has removed Himself from it, but on the contrary because the world of men has itself removed itself, through its volition and conduct, from the Light, and thereby from God

Men have removed themselves from the Light because, listening to the enticements of the tempter, they sank together with the whole known universe down into depths far removed from all that is purer and brighter

Nevertheless the Will of God remains here in these spheres of twilight, working inseparably

Not, however, in that God Himself intervenes in things and happenings, but for this He has here His faithful servants and the fulfillers of the appointed determining Will

Through the work of the animistic servants everything is ruled, in the fulfilment of the Will of the Creator, in a downward direction through the great planes of the finer parts of the Subsequent Creation, ever further, even to this gross material universe from its beginning to its end

Everything except the world of human society itself, which is formed by the will of men, we may call directly subject to the course of development fulfilling the Will of the Creator

The volition of men here on earth, however, still runs alas for a great part counter to this wise ruling of the worlds

Although the impulses of men have in their volition a measure of good intent, yet if this intent is led by intellectual thinking, it ends in its effect often wholly at odds with the Harmony vibrating in the work of Creation

The reason for this is the wrong use of the gift of free will in volition and in deciding, through the dominance of the intellect on the part of men

Men here on earth still form for themselves, in the use of a narrow intellectuality, their own world, and this with all its social expressions of good and of evil

Yet soil is still granted to men for their activity, although it is often wholly wrong

The divine wisdom set man into this world of men as a kind of director ruling in the realising of his own wishes

It was so ordered in trust in the human good, which could and should in the end have triumphed in the deciding, which was always to be in accord with the vibrancy of the spiritual spark within man

It is therefore also in its way a part of the divine wise ruling of the worlds when men on earth err in the use of their gift of free will, for in this they can learn to recognise their faults and thereby to develop towards their full value, which is possible only through experiencing

They need to recognise and to grasp the real meaning of their life

That alas a great part of men have hitherto not succeeded in this shows itself as a result in the development of the earthly human world itself

This too is therefore in part a portion of the great divine wisdom which rules the worlds

For a change for the better in the earthly world of men the smallest thing would suffice – that a greater part of men should begin to occupy themselves in earnest with everything that belongs to human existence

Thereby men would swiftly recognise how incomprehensibly they have hitherto neglected a necessary part of themselves, namely their own spiritual inner being

They would swiftly find the recognition that the fulfilment which many desperately seek in outward things they have withal within themselves – in the spark of the spirit, which calls for the exercise of every volition for good brought to expression in accord with the Harmony of the whole

Thereby the world of men on earth could swiftly find a way out of all the enmities and adversities which cause many crises both in small things and in all great ones

Men, however, have already removed themselves too far from the original ordinance which was implanted in them while still in the planes of the spiritual at the beginning of the path of their development

But all this is today on earth, for a great part of men, a wholly forgotten portion of their own past

Therefore whole nations are drowning in difficulties, and all further development which proceeds from the influence of their free will in deciding is heading towards the collapse of their own social life

And therefore it may also be regarded solely and only as a manifestation of the Love of God when, through the working of the animistic servants, a break will now be made in this development, in that the further course of the hitherto volition of men comes under a heightened pressure of the Light, which will permit human free will to work further only in the case of a pure and good volition

But at the same time, together with this, there will come to this earth also the so greatly awaited enlightenment in the recognition of all the spiritual matters of the human inner being

This will bring a great change in the lives of many men

In a part of mankind the hitherto slumbering spark will at last be able after all to blaze up, so as to free itself from all that is wrong

Those, however, who despite all the help made ready will not be able to awaken within will gradually lose upon earth the ground for their further activity

For this time of transformation the animistic servants proceed in the fulfilment of the highest Justice

Besides this there are also already incarnated upon earth for this time inwardly wholly mature spirits, who need only to gain certainty in their recognition of the divine wisdom which rules the worlds

The first of these spirits are also already recognising this divine wisdom and are giving thanks for it precisely to the kindliness of God

In joyful praise they receive it all, for out of it there flows for them a happiness hitherto unknown

To many of these men the Way of the Grail is also a help in this time upon earth, which leads human spiritual striving ever more towards a true recognition of the work of the Grail Message

The Way of the Grail strengthens every human spirit towards the inward awakening which is the condition for a right understanding of the Grail Message

Without this openness the knowledge of the Grail Message remains ever a book sealed with seven seals, and this despite the fact that men understand parts of the words in the book with their earthly perception and their attitude of thought and are able to divine in them the greatness of the Truth contained therein

True enlightenment, however, shows itself quite otherwise

It is of full value, healing, ardently and at the same time freely experienced through the joyful volition for good

In this respect many a man still stands before the real experiencing of the enlightenment of his spirit

But the age calls for the taking up of a spiritually responsible life in creative and harmonious consonance with other men, however much they live with a different perception of thought

The joyful vibration of the inner being is to become the abiding soil leading to the discovery of a wholly new manner of living together with men

Therefore it is already possible today to speak of the fulfilment of the happenings hitherto only awaited, which will come to this earth

It has also been happening for some time now, and it is only a confirmation of the importance of the completion of all the preparations needed for it, which had to precede

The preparations are now completed, and the animistic servants are beginning to work in the fulfilment of happenings which belong wholly to the Wisdom of God, bringing for this part of the universe enlightenment to all men who are living within and who purely strive for an all-embracing volition for good

Thereby that shift in the development of this world-part will be fulfilled in the manner which was ordained by God long millennia ago
