That longed-for way leading to peace among men is today upon earth the Way of the Grail

It is so because the Way of the Grail faithfully follows the Will of God contained in the work of the Grail Message

The Will of God in its all-wisdom sets for the human spirit always the best paths, and this from every place in Creation in the upward direction of his ascent, if only he longs with the whole of his inner being for the good

Of these paths, ordained by the Will of God, it is precisely the work of the Grail Message that speaks with clarity and, for the spirit, with a pictorial lucidity

If the recognition of the Word of the Grail Message, which is turned to account precisely on the Way of the Grail, is brought to life by man inwardly purely and matter-of-factly, it leads in the end to one single result:

= The attaining of all-embracing peace =

It leads to peace for the individual and for the whole world

Peace, as it is also rightly understood by the majority of men here on earth, is an immeasurably precious value

It is a value which bears witness of a man who with his life strives purely for this peace, that he has attained in himself a high degree of purity and of maturity in the fulfilling of spiritual manhood

Peace, in order to be truly genuine, needs to be contained on the part of the human spirit in absolutely everything that belongs to life

It is not possible to will it only there where it suits a man in his wishes and conceptions, but precisely also everywhere where for the sake of peace he must give of himself a measure of adaptation, and thereby prove his self-diminishing and his humility for the attaining of the whole Harmony

This often brings the demand for a certain self-denial in one's wishes and in many expectations of life

Loving gentleness is also a condition of the attaining of peace, as is likewise the capacity for a clear seeing of all that is evil, and especially of that which is still hidden from other eyes

Even though the mature man sees what is bad and evil, he should preserve within himself nobility of character and a matter-of-fact kindness

In this he can always better himself, even to the degree of a wholly ideal ennobling on all planes of his being

That is something which has hitherto been lacking here and is lacking still

Men have for the most part, through pursuing only their earthly aims, overlooked and pushed aside with superficiality this supremely important share of theirs in the general peace, taking no heed thereby that they thus deny all that is important and precious for the human spirit which the Son of God Jesus showed them in His words about the longed-for blessedness of men

Many acted and still act as though peace could be attained through the existing way of life of the majority of men upon earth

They expect that peace will come under conditions wholly self-seekingly laid down by men

Alas, yes, millions of men wish to live and to act according to their superficially formed wishes and conceptions, without admitting to themselves the fact that they thereby deny within themselves the glorious beatitudes mediated by Jesus

Something such, however, is not possible, and the oncoming events among men will only confirm it again and again

Of this too the work of the Grail Message speaks distinctly

It will manifest ever more strongly until men inwardly grasp it and take it into their lives

How far peace is a genuine wish for a man will manifest ever more visibly precisely in his own life

No one else will be able to bear the responsibility for the approaching visible happenings in his own life save he himself alone

Peace hovers high in the planes of the spiritual home above the Light-irradiated meadows of the blessed

In its glorious essence it is therefore inseparably bound up with the real inward striving of men

It thus stands from time immemorial above all ideologies and cunning devices of the intellect

Because true peace lies within each single man, it is therefore necessarily bound up directly with the spiritual nature of the human species

All the negotiations of men about peace on earth have hitherto always denied this fundamental understanding

That is, that peace is conditioned by the adaptation of each single man, in his interests and expectations, to that great Harmony working unceasingly in the work of Creation

Something such is possible solely through inward perception

It is a part of the great task of grasping life through the spiritual nature of man

For this, too, free will was given, that men should grasp it voluntarily with the inward joyful recognition of the perfection and the all-wisdom of the Love of God contained in it all

It is precisely for this that the humanly spiritual spark in man bears the gift of free will

This enables it to experience the high value of the fact that it is itself to recognise and to experience this for itself through inward consonance with that Wisdom and Love of God

How the free will bestowed upon him by the Creator is grasped and also applied by man on his purely personal plane is always a testimony of the maturity of the human spirit

Alas, mankind is very far behind precisely in this

The result of true human spiritual freedom, which is bound up with the inward maturity of man, is the fulfilling of a whole accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation

The more the human spirit is in accord with the harmony in the work of Creation, the more does he then feel himself of full value and also free

Freedom, recognised through the Laws of Creation, then uncovers for the mature spirit the boundaries of the work of Creation beyond all seeing, within which he is permitted to unfold and to work, provided that at the same time his inner being vibrates with a volition for good that is full of peace

The space of activity can never be exhausted for the human spirit who has attained maturity in Creation

This awareness then brings him precisely an abidingly blissful experiencing of freedom

This comes about because his inner being is permitted to take into itself from the whole of Creation always far more greatness and glory than he himself is capable of turning to account with his spirit

Only in free and unconditional giving is it possible to receive back in return the counter-value of the glorious kind of powers to be found in the work of Creation

In accord with this outward giving there is strengthened for man his participation in the wholeness of the Work of God, and in it he finds for himself ever more and more space for his blissful activity

He is ever more and more rich thanks to his connection with the whole of the work of Creation, and thereby in his activity he again comes to recognise a new greatness in the extent of the free will granted him by his Creator

He becomes an ever more conscious co-creator of peace in the whole of Creation

The forming of peace among men is therefore always the affair of each single man

In this forming of peace every one of men has a share through his attunement within

No one is exempt from it, and therefore in the oncoming happening each one will also have to give of himself in this direction the most important thing – his own measure of humility and of kindliness, which he voluntarily bestows upon other men

A humble self-diminishing must come in the oncoming time on the part of every man

It is not here a question only of material riches or of anything else that belongs closely to the material world, although even that in itself will already be very bitterly surprising for many men when the changes now drawing near from the heights of Creation to the earth are fulfilled in it

It is, however, above all a question of one's own measure of conscious modesty in the asserting of oneself in this world and further into the distances of the work of Creation in the fulfilment of one's wishes

It is no longer possible to live in conceptions about the fulfilment of one's dreams which are withal in direct contradiction to the Harmony of the work of Creation

It is no longer possible to remain in opposition to what the Will of God offers man as the way to attain the state of a fully mature self-consciousness, in which the promised enlightenment of the spirit vibrates, which is the way to the spiritual home above the materialities

Peace which is to be lasting cannot stand apart from man as something alien, outside the inward participation of his interests

Peace cannot be merely something outward without the personal contribution of each single man upon earth

Therefore it is also not possible merely to speak of peace among men in endless philosophical reflections, but rather peace needs to be lived by them under all circumstances

This now holds good for everyone

Thus not only in the relations between the rulers of lands and nations, but above all necessarily also between men as individuals in the smallest everyday affairs

It is a necessary condition, for it holds good that out of the smaller there always forms itself the greater and at last the greatest

From each single man there therefore necessarily lead threads which either form peace or, through their kind of volition, dissolve it

It goes from the single man always further to a greater sum of men

But the greatest thing here meant is not only the earthly world, as someone might perhaps suppose, but all the planes of materiality surrounding this earth, in the way she is interwoven with these planes, bound to them by a thousand threads

It is therefore in the first place a question of all the planes of the ethereal kind, also of the astral and thought parts of the materialities, and only at the very last of the outward world itself, which men perceive as the strongest part for themselves, because they are connected with it through the present day-consciousness of their gross material body

The earthly world, however, is not in its nature solitary, but on the contrary it is simply a densified radiation of the more cooled forms of life out of a space of a manifold greater and finer kind of materialities in the Subsequent Creation

When men grasp this, only then will the recognition open for them of the manner in which peace needs to be formed and maintained here on earth as well

Everything in this part of the Subsequent Creation works like interlocking gearwheels

They are communicating vessels, in which the power of the spiritual volition of men flows to and fro

All this forms the living organism of all the parts of one body, which is precisely that whole part of the Subsequent Creation that has borne from the beginning the name Ephesus

For here on earth too it holds good that even the greatest living organism will in the end sicken as a whole if at the outset even a small part of the cells begins to vibrate wrongly

The power and the true greatness of the whole forms itself out of the individual particles of life

Therefore it is so needful that peace should arise within the very inner being of individual men before it can become a part of the worldwide ordering of a new age upon earth

Where peace dwells in the inner being and in the mind of a man under all the circumstances of the day, there we may find the greatest contribution to the peace of this whole world

That is then the peace which was promised to men from the Light through the Word of Truth

To live in peace with everything and with everyone, thus also with those whom a man today still perceives in his understanding as his enemies, only that bears witness to the genuineness of a man's volition

To live in peace with one's enemies means to go matter-of-factly the way of the good and never to let oneself be torn out of the inward fullness of peace

Such an attunement of a man then frees the hands of the animistic servants, who work helpfully around such inwardly mature men, that they may lead everything needful to fulfilment along courses which are at the same time fully in accord with the Will of God

In this, after all, every man can learn every day

The strongest will for the attaining of peace dwells in that man who places himself with his attunement in accord with the Will of God, that is, in the whole harmony of the work of Creation, in which there dwells inseparably precisely the Loving-Kindness of God

But that means to vibrate in a pure and peaceful volition for all-embracing good

This holds good not only for great events, but also for everything small awaiting a man in the course of each single day

Therefore the Way of the Grail also shows all these particulars and seemingly small things, which are in reality necessary for true peace within the human inner being

Peace within is urgently needed for the man of today

It calls to be acquired and taken into life by every man who longs for spiritual ascent

Where there is chaos in thinking, where there is tension and over-pressure which first of all strikes upon the faults of others in the experiencing of aversion and subsequently of the need for unobjective attack, there everywhere there is still very much work for the human spirit

Spiritual work lies precisely in that which precedes everything, thus first of all in that which comes even before the intuitive perceiving itself

Before the intuitive perceiving is formed, it needs first to be irradiated by the fundamental inward attitude of the spark of the spirit towards all-embracing good

This attitude lies in the childlike simple radiation of the pure being of the inner spiritual spark

But alas, the greatest part of men on earth today cannot simply and purely radiate luminous vibrations into Creation as the proof of their being

That which from time immemorial should have been the most fundamental thing in a man's life has today become the goal of a great spiritual struggle, with the need to wander along complicated paths of turning inward in order to attain anew this art of the bright radiation of the inner being

The complexity of the way to it is caused by the rank thinking of men, drowning in a flood of needless thought-forms

These forms disturb and are often able to destroy even an otherwise earnest striving of a man towards ascent

Men today must fight their way through to their inner being, which withal should have been the strongest thing in its bright blazing

It has become distant, because for whole millennia it was not used briskly and rightly by men

And yet precisely in it there is contained the foundation of peace with all that belongs to it, so that this may be in complete consonance with the Will of God, with the Harmony

It is that base which is so very necessary for the building of the unshakable fortress of peace in the life of man

Without this foundation there is nothing further that could lead to the full value of human existence

Where kindliness and peace are lacking within a man even for a short time, there sooner or later there will come into his life unrest, inner laceration, uprootedness

Uprootedness will come because the human spirit, together with the longing for a life in harmony that burns inseparably within him, subconsciously always needs to have near him also the vibrations of the fullness of peace as a message of the Love of God

Where peace is lacking near the spirit over a long time, there his self-consciousness necessarily begins to draw near to dissolution in its human nature

Without the experiencing of peace and of happiness by the human spirit there comes gradually the extinguishing of his life, and the awareness of experiencing his existence in the work of Creation must necessarily end for him

In the long continuance of such a direction it is not granted to the spiritual nature of man itself that it should be able to endure in its conscious being

Either he returns anew to harmony and to the Loving-Kindness of God, or he is extinguished, in other words he loses his capacity to live further

This is no warning, nor a frightening of men, but it is the description of a wholly lawful happening concerning the spiritual species in the work of Creation, to which men belong by their nature

The picture of the necessary development is to be grasped in the experiencing of the heart, and not merely through thoughts, which have the baneful skill of blunting everything by their manner of casting doubt, and thereby of weakening it

Men need to grasp and earnestly perceive intuitively this fundamental essence of all life, so that they may recognise where they are truly to seek a refuge for their inner being

This refuge is the Light, and through the Light it is always solely the Loving-Kindness of God, which is always nearest to the human spirit in the time of his privation and inward laceration

In the oncoming time those men who are sincerely striving for their inward awakening will also have much help

This will come about through the way in which, with the co-operation of the animistic servants, the present world will crumble and collapse, so that in the end it becomes wholly a thing of the past

It is precisely for this time that much help is made ready by the Light for all men earnestly striving for the good

In order that men may pass through it without wholly collapsing on the plane of the thought and feeling level of their perception, they need already today to find within themselves an anchorage in the Light, which alone can grant them everything needful for inward peace

Nowhere else will it be possible to find support for a lasting state of inward peace than solely in the recognition and the acceptance of the Light, which is bestowed upon mankind by the Creator as the last rescue for the time of the great changes coming in the life of every man

The Light is the Truth

And the Truth, that is, the real and true knowledge of the work of Creation and of its Laws working in it from eternity, is contained in the work of the Grail Message

The Truth, however, needs to be received rightly in the fully open attunement of the pure vibrancy of the inner being of man

It is to the condition of this ardent vibrancy that the Way of the Grail then points, by making clear the right procedure by which the knowledge in the Grail Message is to be received, so that it may help the human spirit in his blossoming of a pure spiritual awakening

Without the keeping of this sequence all recognition remains only a thought-scheme which cannot be turned to account by the spirit, for it remains only the outer shell of recognition

Without the experiencing of the inner being it is not possible to receive the Grail Message, and thereby the rescuing Light remains standing outside the human spirit

It cannot help him, in spite of all the gifts which the Grail Message contains within it

It remains figuratively a life-giving spring, from which, however, a man who has not opened himself within cannot succeed in drinking

If, however, the soil in the spirit is open, then the Light can enter, so as to establish peace

It will bring a beneficent refreshing and strengthening for all the oncoming happening

The mankind of the present time therefore needs to have the pure vibrant attunement of the spiritual spark within, so that upon this soil there may come the recognition of all the knowledge of the Grail Message brought to earth by Parzival as the divine envoy from the Grail

If, then, the one or the other is lacking, there will dwell here henceforth that unanchoredness of the spirit and also the said unrest proceeding from the efforts of men vainly striving after wrong aims

There will be lacking either the needed purity of vibration within man or the knowledge which opens the prospects for the recognition of the true meaning of human life

Whichever of the two is lacking, the true soil for peace within men and among them will always be lacking here

And yet it is here already high time for everyone who longs for the Light to set out upon this way to peace

Where men long for the Light, that it may dwell near them, there the step onto the path of the fullness of peace must first be taken

Only in the fullness of peace can the great recognition of the knowledge lying in the work of the Grail Message be rightly turned to account

Therefore the Way of the Grail calls upon everyone to set out upon the path of his own inward peace

This way to peace it also shows in the repeated pointing to the need for an inward becoming luminous within

That is that conditioned sequence for all the building up of life upon earth on all the planes among men

Where a pure vibrancy full of peace dwells in a man, there victory and success will now come in all human striving on the way to the Light

Where this is lacking, then in spite of all knowledge of the wisdom of the Grail Message, collapse will come in the end

The choice withal rests with each single man

May there be found enough of those men who will kindle within themselves the flame of the Light and of Peace

It would be a great help to themselves and to the whole world
