However much men strive to explore the material world in the belief that in this research they will find the key to the understanding of their lasting happiness, true knowledge remains locked away from them still, tellingly like an impregnable treasury

Said without embellishment, men here on Earth still do not know the greatest part of what they could already know about themselves and about the world around them

For as long as earthly science denies the existence of the animistic activity, which always works from the finer towards the coarser levels of matter, knowledge of the ways to lasting human health will never be attained, nor, for example, will the source of inexhaustible energy ever be rightly discovered

And yet all that men would need for this knowledge circles above their heads, for it is contained in that so often mentioned spiritual enlightenment which brings the way to the great transformations of life upon this Earth

Spiritual enlightenment carries within it all that is needed for the long-awaited great progress of mankind

It is therefore great progress that lies contained in its heralded coming

Men should not fear spiritual enlightenment and refuse the changes bound up with it, but on the contrary should welcome with wholly open hearts all the spiritual and earthly treasures contained within it

Within it lies the way out of all the hardships and afflictions that millions of people have borne until now

And of every possible kind of affliction there is even today still a very great deal upon the Earth

Among the greatest hardships, which today spare almost none among men, is the unsteadiness of the state of health

A fully valid state of health is still only a dreamed-of ideal

For some this ideal is so distant that in this life it is already held by them to be forever unattainable

The pressure of many insidious incurable diseases stifles and grips whole multitudes of those broken by pain and their loved ones as well, and many of them, looking towards the days to come, fear the worst

And it is precisely in this direction that spiritual enlightenment brings the promise of help and of a way out for earthly man

Much can soon change

The channels leading from the more blissful levels, in which great knowledge is to be found, are bending down towards the Earth to bring blessing

The chambers of all-embracing and at the same time revolutionary knowledge stand ready to open their doors

But all of this has one great condition

All knowledge will be imparted only to those who are inwardly rightly attuned to it

By right attunement the Light means above all the pure opening of the human inner being to a childlike receiving of new knowledge

It is precisely that required childlike pure humility which will open for mankind the way to the new knowledge that is still so very far from it today

The new knowledge shows the direct way to the gaining of insight concerning the health of man

The way to the rediscovery of full health leads through the radiation of the blood

The radiation of the blood is that which, in the coming Great Transformation of all life upon the Earth, will pass through a fundamental purification which may boldly be called a literal rebirth

Rebirth, or otherwise "the becoming luminous of the blood picture", is the turn of phrase that will grow ever more audible among men in the time to come

It will be spoken of in many places and men will seek it as a fabled treasure is sought

The reborn radiation of the blood picture become luminous

Thus will it often be repeated by men in the intuitive sensing of the promise of a great turn for the better

The reborn radiation of the blood is the condition for healing from all the diseases known upon the Earth

It is the blood and its radiation that is the key to all health

Whether it be a matter of bodily or of so-called psychical health, the chief bearer of healing is always the blood and its radiation

The radiation of the blood is conditioned by its composition out of substances of the material kind

Besides this, however, there is here also the influence of further parts, to which belong inseparably the radiation of the spiritual spark and the influence of the radiation of the soul coverings, out of which there is always formed first the finer astral prototype of the earthly body

Inseparably, however, the Aether belongs to the composition of all these radiations, that is to say a kind of primordial force in the universe having its origin in the animistic

The Aether, known to men rather as the ether, is a force much neglected until now, which nevertheless carries within it much that is important for the victorious attainment of the healing of the human body

Everything in the Subsequent Creation, and this from the first to the very last, is formed through the working of the animistic servants called to it by God, who have their original field of activity in the circle of Valhalla above all the levels of materiality belonging to the whole of the Subsequent Creation

By the Creator there was laid into the hands of the animistic servants an undreamed-of great measure of His Will for the shaping of all that was and still is to arise in the Subsequent Creation

The animistic servants of Valhalla are the bearers and administrators of a great part of the Will of God

This Will they have reshaped and, with the thoroughness proper to them, woven into all the threads of the cosmic and natural laws

It is they, therefore, who wisely administer everything that stands above man and also within man

Having always first the form of radiation, it is subject precisely to the hands of the animistic servants

Whether it be the administrators of the great lawful happenings in the material spheres, or the weavers of the threads of fate, who entered upon their activity together with the coming of the human spiritual sparks into the Subsequent Creation, it is always the animistic servants who form and create everything

And precisely for the shaping of gross materiality, for its forming, its animating and its sustaining, there comes to them power from O-dio-nar himself, who is the administrator of this inconceivably mighty energy

The energy flows through the levels and at the very boundary of the gross material it takes on a form which we may call the Aether

An omnipresent primordial force, which conceals within it possibilities as yet unrecognised by mankind

One of these as yet unrecognised possibilities is the animating, sustaining and also fully healing flow of this force, which is no longer merely animistic radiation, yet is also not yet material substance

It is a living intermediate stage, it is a bridge between two wholly different worlds

This intermediate stage of living, flowing animistic force bears the name Aether

The Aether always carries within it living strengthening enough for the healing of every bodily part of man from any disease which, out of the spiritual connection of the threads of fate, may be healed, for it bears within it from the beginning a certain disposition thereto

The Aether penetrates the earthly body upon several levels

It can come through the points of connection which the whirling threads between the material and the astral body form

It can also come through the conscious attunement of man to the healing power of Creation

This is because the Aether is always magnetically drawn towards any movement whatever, to which of course belongs also the spiritual and the thought-movement within man

It can also come in material form, namely through gross material carriers in which the power of the Aether is held fast

The ideal one among these gross material carriers of the Aether, in which it can most easily take hold and be retained, is water

Water is in this respect the chosen element, in which there dwells the promise of revolutionary discoveries

One of these discoveries, which still await the necessary maturity of mankind, is the capacity of water to afford the Aether the possibility of taking hold and of being released again

Through the hold thus afforded, the Aether can pass in the water into the blood, in order there to release and to bring to life the necessary happenings that lead to the healing of man

It is of course important that the other stages too need to be fulfilled in a certain measure for the at least temporary retention of the Aether in the human body, so that the healing happenings can begin to unfold

As has already been said, these conditions are the permeability of the connecting radiations between the astral and the gross material body and above all the inner living work of the spiritual spark in man, which needs to strive with its wish along the purest paths towards the attainment of an unshakable conscious trust in the healing that comes to man always solely through the Love of God

If this is fulfilled in man, the Aether then works as a force ideally formed thereto by the animistic servants for the benefit of everyone who is enabled to make use of its powers

It is not fitting to regard the Aether as a lifeless kind of force, for the difference between the gross material sources of power known to men and the Aether lies precisely in its receptivity towards all that it meets

Herein lies that great unlikeness to all the physical forces known to men which work in the gross material universe

The Aether stands above all of that, and yet it works as a force

But as a living, in a certain sense receptive force, which at one moment may be with a man, yet in the instant of his closing himself off flows at once away

In the case of the healing current this living energy is always filled with blessing from the High servants of Valhalla, Herferide and Herfeline

They give to the Aether, through their kind of radiation, a helping, healing kind of effect

Besides this there are here also the further influences of the other High animistic servants, who again, each after their own kind, weave into the Aether other kinds of powers, which may then manifest quite otherwise than as a healing and restoring current

There may be present in it the power of building up and of creating of an unwonted kind, but also a crushing, shattering and destroying power

Everything then happens exactly according to that kind which is woven into the Aether as its mission, which is to manifest also in gross materiality

What is laid into the living ether works within it

And in great part the will of the human spirit may be co-operative therein, for so it was willed by the Creator in the beginning, that men should through their kind help to influence the development of life in the materialities

After many bitter experiences on the part of the animistic servants, however, the influence of men upon the Aether had to be curtailed, and therefore today almost nothing is known of this remarkable force which bridges the immense possibilities of Valhalla over into the materialities

Since, however, that promised spiritual enlightenment draws near, and with it the Great Transformation, much of the curtailed knowledge will gradually be made accessible to men again as a support for the new building up

For some time yet, however, the Aether will be granted to the human race only for use in healing and in the purest creating, not for everything in which it could be of help

Out of this there will then be able to come to men filled with good those experiences that will lead them to an attunement which holds within it only the wish for all-embracing good for all life in Creation

Once it has been proved that such volition of men is the prevailing and under all circumstances lasting attunement, the whole power of the Aether will then be able to be made accessible for the bringing forth of the most admirable results in works such as mankind will ever create

Against these works, which will then come upon the Earth, the endeavour of men hitherto is but the expression of a childish playing with toys

First, however, men need to draw near to the Aether and to come to know its beneficent effects, which it carries within it for all honest striving of men

The best is to begin with that part which for many people is also the most pressing to resolve

And this part is health, which instead of improving full of hope rather grows worse for many people with every day

Therefore men may begin the knowing of the strengthening effects of the Aether precisely through healing

This will among other things bring many seekers to heightened attentiveness, for where help is given with direct effect in the gross material, men sense help also in all else, and thus in spiritual matters too

For this reason also the knowledge of the Aether is now being given, so that all the happening leading to the spiritual awakening of great multitudes of men may be strengthened

Everything will therefore be brought nearer gradually, step by step

With the knowing of the Aether, however, each one for himself can begin already today

There are in this no obstacles and no conditions save the pure inner being spoken of, irradiated by childlike humility, of him who wishes to draw near to the Aether and to its effects
