The Light of God hovers above all happening

The great harmony flowing from this Light has from the beginning of all ages formed and upholds the work of Creation

At the very starting-point of this lasting creating and upholding of the Light of God in the work of Creation stands Parzival in the castle of the Grail

He is the starting-point and the mediator of the power of the Light for all life, for all the happening unfolding in Creation, and also for all creatures, from the greatest of them to those who are altogether insignificant

He maintains the connection with all happening, and this happening, with everything that is contained within it, is joined together in his hand for blessing or for cursing, according to what each particle of life deserves

Mighty is the hand of Parzival, irradiated by the Light of God, which grasps the threads leading to all the worlds of the Father's work of Creation

In this hand all the flowing of the fate of all creatures converges, is judged, and thence unwinds anew

Lasting is this happening, and everything is contained in it, without its being halted even for a moment

Parzival also perceives nothing of this as a burden for himself, nor for all his further tasks, for the immersion of a part of Imanuel in his primordially created, royally mighty vessel makes him, through the Divinity present therein, stand in all-wisdom above everything

He is the living Law of God for the work of Creation, appointed by God the Father, and therefore at the same time there go forth from him into all directions the rays determining the instructions for all the servants formed as executors of the Father's Will

To behold all this in one moment, as a mighty Divine happening continually fulfilling itself, compelled Ismael, at the time of his writing down of the Revelation of John, to sink upon his knees and to hide his face

It is not in the power of any creature to encompass it and thus to follow all the mutually interpenetrating happenings, for which only that which springs from the Divine bears the capacity within itself

The glow of the Light issuing from the Divine contains within itself the power for thousands of Creations in their arising, their enduring or their passing away, and never will the Divine Light lose anything of its original power in any of this

The Divine work has, out of the Will of God the Father, a steward given through Parzival, who in his very essence watches over everything in the Father's Will

His head is continually veiled in the light of flames, in which there dwells the living power for all that is to come to pass

His body is like a flowing luminous spring, in which all the happening in the work of Creation is mirrored, and at the same time there penetrates it the blinding Equal-armed Cross, the formation of the Word of God and of the Truth

The hands of Parzival are the beginning of the executive activity of the Will of God for the Creation consecrated to the lamb, in whose kind everything that has arisen here vibrates in its own way, above all indeed the spiritual of this work of Creation

In the one hand is the radiant Light, imaging the heart of the Love of God, and in the other is the sword, the judging Justice of God

Thus in this presence of Parzival there rest side by side continually, through the judging Will of God present therein, life and death

Ascent and perishing, blessing and ruin, eternal Light and eternal darkness, all this rests in the most just holding of all the threads in the hand of the Envoy of God in this Creation, in the hand of Parzival

He is the one who holds the keys of heaven and of hell for all creatures

He holds the keys which open the gates to the spirits according to what they deserve, either the one or the other

Parzival is thus the protector and the liberator of all that strives towards the Light directly in its lasting ardent purity, and also of all that is alive in its foundation and that, although it was wandering, yet on its paths of development bettered itself in the end

For all that is pure there is the radiant power which streams through Creation from the heights down to the uttermost place, converging into the sharp point of the sword formed out of the Ray of Parzival, that living Light which fills all the planes of the heavens and the remaining parts of the work of Creation

And this Light, which radiates out of the Ray and shines through all the parts of the worlds, now also brings victorious reinforcement to every man on Earth who longs to step forth into a new being

Whoever therefore bears within himself the volition towards good, and whose spirit ardently entreats for help to ascend out of all the confusion and hopelessness of what now is, may now in full trust open himself to the helping streams of the Light which flow to this Earth in the present so blessed time of great transformations

Whoever longs for this in the highest ardour of his spirit, let him open himself to it wholly

The Light brings peace to all the inner volition of men

It brings liberation from all the importunate thoughts of strife, of malice and of ruin, which under the pressure of the Judgment of God surround this Earth in their density

Above this dense layer, pressing in restlessly and disintegratingly, there wafts however the peace and the active industry of all the creative powers of the animistic and of the spiritual kind, which hasten towards a new beginning

In the quiet rustling of flowing joy there streams hither the life-giving power appointed for all who wish to enter into the new time

It brings power and inner courage to change and to become a pure human spirit who accepts all the threads of his past in order to transform them into new, brightly radiant threads directed only upward towards the Light

It mediates the inner power for the anchoring of oneself in the Light

In quiet abiding in prayer there begins the outgoing path of the human spirit upward towards the Light

The Light needs only to find in the inner being of man the soil enabling it to enter with all the kinds of help which are contained within it

Let man therefore for a while close himself to the streams pressing in from the surrounding space of the world, and let him direct the essence of his inner spiritual spark upward to the streaming of God which comes continually from the heights

In this time, when the Ray of Parzival stands in the nearness of the Earth, every courageous inner approach of man towards it is granted a hearing

To profess oneself inwardly to the Light is now needful for every man who seeks the way to attain inner peacefulness and to draw power in order to stand firm in all that is taking place and in all that will yet come upon this Earth in the fulfilment of all the promises

It should not be the outer world which determines the attunement of man's inner being, but solely and only the Light out of the Ray of Parzival, which waits for man to open himself

Whoever longs to pass through everything and to stand firm in it needs an anchoring in the Light and a clear connection with all the servants who alone can lead man through all the coming happening

Of these helpers there are always countless numbers around man

They range one above another in long gradations which in the end are lost in the radiance of the heights, even to the eye fully graced by the Light

They stand one above another like the steps of the living rescue of God, lastingly granted to every creature

Living, because they are composed only of the living happening of living beings who vibrate wholly in the service of God

Mighty vibrations and the most delicate voices of the smallest are borne along in this garland-like connection sent from the heights to every inwardly open spirit upon his path

Thus can everyone be led through the helpers of his spirit ever higher and higher, until at last he will have the refreshing, longed-for connection with the Light so strong and so pure that through it there will be able to come to him the echo of the life of the blessed halls and gardens of the primordially created castle of the Grail itself

The streams of help, if man opens himself to them, come to him from dizzying heights in order to strengthen him in the spiritual seeing of all things, here on this Earth also, in purely earthly being

Thus they lead man in protection gradually and yet surely upward along the path which is ordered by all the servants who look upon the spark of the spirit with the most ardent pleasure whenever they may find in it the longer-shining flashes of virtues

It is the path of the Grail, which has unfolded across all the planes of Creation and, shining like the white waters of a stream blessed by God, shows the direction upward, if the spirit will go along these waters of life

All the helping power pours forth therein, so that at any time as much may be drawn from it as the spirit needs in order always to refresh himself for the further path

Thus it flows downward and at the same time draws mightily like an irresistible strengthening power, in which is contained the extolling of all that is exalted, knowing and perfect in its kind and in its origin

Blessed are they who draw near to it in their inner being and who already today consciously draw power from it for this earthly life of theirs also

Something of this kind then shows itself also in that the man concerned lives wholly in connection with the Light

He perceives everything around him and irradiates it with the shining of his spirit so strongly that nothing out of the outer world can any longer come near him so as to deflect him from his inner accord with the highest creative fullness of peace and harmony which rests in all the flowing of the Will of God

To stand in the Light, to live in the fullness of peace of the Will of God, is for such a man that which remains with him lastingly, without any inferiority of whatever kind still disturbing this luminosity of his matured spirit

Both inwardly and outwardly there issues visibly from him a nobility of character in all his dealings

All his bearing is then irradiated by a value of a higher kind, which however never becomes severed from the everyday experiencing of other people

Thus he will always be able to recognise the motives which lead other people into their inner distraction and their wavering of thought, and he will never therein despise them for their expressions of weakness, because he will bear within himself the loving awareness that this earth is indeed here so that people may gradually learn all this and develop therein towards an ever more conscious volition towards good

And this will surely come only gradually

It cannot fall from the heights upon this Earth and into the world of present-day men all at once as something complete, because through its heterogeneity it would remain forever beside them as something wholly unrecognisable

The longing for a good and purer life needs to be awakened in one's fellow men not through pressure and force, because anything of that kind is far removed from the ways of life of the spirits in Paradise, but it is to spring from the already existing living and pure life of those who have known upon themselves the beneficence of the nearness of the Light

The world cannot be mended from without, but it is possible to heal it from within, through the vibrations of a higher spiritual perceiving which can always leap across from one person to another, if the soil for this living happening is open in both

Many well-meaning people long to mend the disjointed world of men here

They use for it however the wrong tools, which in the end will never allow them to attain any greater progress

They suppose that the knowledge coming from the spiritual helpers sent by the Light to this Earth can simply be forced upon people, so that people either submit, or else that all those who refuse anything of the kind are forthwith stricken

But this is only a very narrow view of such a path of ascent for earthly mankind

It often leads also to a combative consciousness which seeks to enforce everything with a yet greater strength of its conviction of the rightness of such a path

In reality, for the greatest part, people do not inwardly ask what the true Will of the Holy God is, so as to recognise it and then also purely to set out along it towards its realisation

If, however, they were to ask with genuineness, then the path would be shown to them which would rest upon truly helpful steps leading upward in an all-embracing effect and not merely in single details

This path is that already mentioned Path connected with the Grail

It is the knowing Way of the Grail, which in living connection with the Ray of Parzival forms the gradual, unifying recognition of the true task of the human spirit in his service to the Light

Therein he is to be magnetically shining, as a livingly working spiritual spark in this nebula of materiality

If he fulfils this, then all the rest will already be cared for of itself by the animistic servants, who indeed have long been waiting for this fulfilling on the part of the human spirit

Everything is prepared for a new beginning

Only the human spirit stumbles behind in it, if indeed we may speak at all of his moving forward, led by his inner pure volition towards a higher spiritual goal here on Earth

Therefore it is now so greatly needful to support that inner enthusiasm of all who are still driven in their inner being by their volition to find the path to ascent

Something of this kind is not possible without sufficient loving-kindness in the inner being of man, it is not possible without conscious patience, nor without that which is the most important therein – that is, without one's own inner connection with the Light

Only those who are inwardly made capable of their own connection with the Light can lead others consciously and lastingly upward towards the Light

The path upward leads through many turnings and also through places where the threads of fate cross, threads which are woven by the weavers of the threads in a uniquely wise and perfectly Just manner

This holds good for the path of man as an individual, and at the same time always for the nations too, and finally for the whole Earth

The existing awakened humanly spiritual needs to radiate here with a pure, bright and lasting shining, without deviation and without wavering in its shining

That will bring the magnetic attraction which now, in this time, under the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, is alone victorious over all the other vibrations of human wishes filled with magnetism

It cannot be otherwise, because the influx of the Light now brings to such a pure and bright radiation a mighty strengthening such as has never yet been here on this Earth

Therein lies hidden the answer for all who ask where the Light is today, where they may find the source of all the strengthening that flows hither from the highest heights

It is there where there is a movement which is active and at the same time directed towards a high luminous goal

Towards a luminous goal not from the point of view of men, but from the point of view of the Will of God

Therein lies a great difference, which we as men shall first have to learn rightly, so that we may recognise it ever more distinctly and with greater certainty in every moment

Nor is it the case of the loud insistence of those who cry out, who are indeed often endowed with a strong voice but have until now given it no polish through the maturing of their spirit, which is unanchored in connection with the Light because it did not strive for this sufficiently

Loud people have not given their spirit room to mature, and therefore they remain forsaken in their calling, for subconsciously they call forth contradiction in their fellow men whenever their ways are to be set beside the true sublimity which many people rightly expect with the Light and with God

It is precisely in this that the present insufficiency shows itself of those who are indeed pupils of the World Teacher but who have not yet truly awakened, or who have contented themselves with but little

They have not had the courage to make enough demands upon themselves so as to become truly matured spirits, whom the Light can only then regard as chosen

Therein lies indeed the well-known warning which speaks of many called, but of only a small number chosen

It is not said because the chosen ought always to be few, but because it expresses the state which is

Of spirits called by the Light and also chosen by the Light there are to be many here

Being inwardly fitted for it, many perceive this, and it drives them forward consciously and also sometimes unconsciously

That is right, for thereby the foundation step of their meaningful life here is laid

For indeed they came for nothing else than to become mediators of the Light for this Earth and for the other people dwelling upon it

Through themselves and their own fitting, their becoming luminous and the polishing of their virtues, they can become those who in the end will in great measure grant to this world one of the kinds of radiation needed for a joyful life

Beside the radiation which is to work with the magnetic kind of awakening attraction for the other human spirits, there is also the working of the animistic, which in proportion to the strengthening spiritual radiation will thereafter be able to bring ever more to the Earth the manifestations of the Ray of Parzival for a possible upbuilding upon healed soil

Beside the upheavals and the collapse of all that is old, the new can thus grow up, which will stand firm under all circumstances beneath the pressure of the Light

In the end, under the strong pressure which will bring the rejection and the thrusting aside of all that is old, this new will on the contrary spring up yet more strongly and blossom fully into a beauty such as has never been here on this Earth until now

Through the spiritual work of pure people who have become luminous there will thus come the transformation of everything hitherto into the beginning of the new, in which everything will feel itself under protection and therefore only well, for it will bear within itself a strong connection with the highest places of the Starting-point of the work of Creation

It will bring that so longingly sought connection of earthly men with the Will of the Creator, out of which alone peace and harmony can arise in their permanence and their all-embracing scope for all creatures

The complete connection of the Creation of the lamb is to come to this Earth also through Parzival and Imanuel working in Parzival, so that here too all the promises may be fulfilled for the liberation of all that longs to join itself to the whole of God's Work

All else will be blown away, so that it may no longer disturb the new life promised to those among men who bear within themselves a living spiritual spark

Let men therefore open themselves in their inner being and, in the acceptance of Parzival, recognise the Love of God working through the Will of God in Creation

The knowledge of Parzival in the castle of the Grail is the starting step of the new time on Earth

People should therefore occupy themselves with it in their liveliest and at the same time most earnest approach, for therein lies now the starting-point for all else in life on Earth

It is thereby wholly beside the point that this is not yet perceived today

It will come, and in a manner hitherto unseen it will announce itself through the work of the animistic servants into the life of all men, so that it may become the centre of all their thoughts and of all the continuing human view of the world

That, however, will already be the sign of the highest time, and there will not remain even a second for further wavering and hesitation in this matter, for thereby will be announced the coming of the Divine determination alone for the further continuation of development on Earth

Everyone who is more receptive in this already perceives, more or less distinctly, that the long-announced Beginning of the new being is not far off
