The Source of Eternal Youth

Beyond all surveying are the long ranks of researchers who through whole millennia have searched, and search even now, for the direction leading to the attainment of a lasting youthfulness of man

Even today the pages of many ancient books are read through again and again

The writings of all those who were once designated as enlightened and knowing are examined

Through all the long time the strangest formulae are also pronounced, which are to summon mystical forces, so that through them, in a moment of insight, that knowledge might be gained which hides within itself the key to the eternal youth of human life

Many experiments were even made, and this at the price of grievous sacrifices, only for it to be found in the end that for the earthly world there exists no way formed by men which brings an eternally young gross material life

In the end the all-dominating intellect entered into it as well, so as, through medical science, to begin regarding the earthly body as a purely material work composed of exchangeable parts

In this the possibility of the longest possible life on earth is now most sought

Out of the precious gift of the human body the intellect forms a purely material machine composed of parts that can be replaced

All that is finer, all that is bound up with the essence of humanity, is denied and silenced, so that in the end the earthly body itself becomes a prison deadening the intuitive perceiving of the spirit

These endeavours lead through threatening reefs that overstep all naturalness, out of which grave threads of fate must therefore arise for all who take part in them, for their further being

The result of all that is stated above is only a straying in a circle and a lasting groping in the darkness of ignorance

All the endeavours hitherto have likewise always shown themselves to be only a vain squandering of precious forces

In spite of everything it still hovers above men

All who have ever occupied themselves with it more earnestly have again and again a great urge to find the answer to the attainment of eternity of being

It emerges again and again before eyes turned upwards to the great promise of “Eternal youth”

“Never-ending youthfulness and freshness”

The words are like the morning star blazing in the morning sky

The gleam of the morning star above the horizon is bound up with this, that its hope of a new day resembles the promise of the primeval gift offered to man out of eternity by his very Creator

This gift was truly offered to all men by the Holy God

It is therefore right that the promise of eternal youth is kept in the consciousness of men and is handed down as an ancient promise through all generations, from primeval times to this day

Youthfulness, health and an abundance of full strength without end

There are few people who would not wish something of the kind for themselves

Therefore that mentioned feverish search for the way leading to the ideal of a youthfulness of being is understandable

But in order that the concept of “lasting youth” should be rightly recognised and understood, as it was also given to mankind in the beginning as a promise from the Light, all the researchers lack that which is most important

That is the knowledge of the whole Truth proceeding from the Throne of God, which gives the elucidation of the meaning of human existence from its beginning to its end

Because this knowledge of the Truth is lacking here, all else is lacking too, and thus also the knowledge of what in man is in reality bound up with lasting youth and eternal being

The Truth, granted from the heights, brings prospects which here on earth are attainable for man in the question of youthfulness

Youth, youthfulness – that is something which is for ever bound in the first place with the inward spiritual essence in man

The spiritual essence of man alone can be eternal and young

Youthfulness is offered to the spiritual spark dwelling in man

But this spark too needs first to be truly living, if it is to be permitted to hope for the gift of eternal being

An enthusiastic affirmation of life is what raises the human spiritual essence upwards

If a man's intuitive perceiving abides in a childlike, simple trust in God and in the Light in its guidance upon all the ways through the Subsequent Creation, then he walks the right paths towards the attainment of eternal youth

Here on this earth too this condition holds good for the approach to longevity

Without this simple childlikeness the concept of eternal youth cannot be rightly recognised, and thereby it cannot be attainable either

Eternal youth can be gained only through a childlike, simple mobility of the spirit, filled with purity, in the inner being of man

Pure intuitive childlikeness, however, is something wholly remote from the present manner of thinking of people heavily influenced by the intellect

Intellectual people will always seek the Source of eternal youth first of all in complicated procedures of research in the material world

And yet the essence of the eternity of human existence rests in a wholly different place and therefore requires quite another procedure

Put literally, the seeking is to be carried out as a procedure directed “from above downwards”

From above downwards means from the spiritual heights of Creation in the direction of matter

Thus from the starting-point of everything, from the spiritual origin abiding in the heights, and not from below upwards, as, alas, it is mostly pursued by researchers in attempts to break through the impenetrable material boundary in an upward direction

The way they drive from below upwards is impossible, for it contains within itself an insurmountable boundary resting in the heterogeneous ponderousness of gross matter

The way from above downwards, on the other hand, from the Light into the planes of the materialities, penetrates all spheres with ease

Therefore eternal youth rests in the recognition and the use of the spiritual forces in man, which come to him from the Light

But in order that that way, already rightly directed from the Light into the materialities, thus from above downwards, should proceed in the right and thereby supporting currents, it needs to be a way consciously used through the intuitive perception

Living here on earth in a predominantly intuitive manner is that direction which leads to the finding of eternal being in the spiritual spheres, and also to the gaining of longevity already here on earth

To this manner of life people have always been led and directed by all the helpers from the Light

This guidance strengthens every person above all towards an intuitively living participation in the accord with the harmony which is in the work of Creation

To this, from the beginning, that concept so hardly comprehended by men, “the all-determining Will of God”, is directed

The Will of God is in the first place the all-supporting, lasting Harmony which swings through the whole work of Creation

Guidance of God has thus never been what for centuries people commonly thought, namely a way forcibly imposed upon man, unknown and incomprehensible, in many respects inscrutable, or even that it is only an imposed, dully accepted way of a haphazard unfolding of events for the man who devoutly believes in the existence of God

Nothing of the kind was ever demanded of man by the Creator

Guidance by God, if it is to be rightly understood, needs on the contrary, in the case of the humanly spiritual species, to proceed along ways ever more consciously recognised by the inwardly living spiritual man

The Creator in His wisdom and greatness desires of man the attainment of a fully conscious walking through the work of Creation

He never demands a blind following of His Will, but sets the ways for every creature so that all life may press more and more towards a conscious affirmation of life, swinging in the great harmony of the Loving-Kindness of God

If a man's way to the recognition of that which brings eternal youth goes rightly from above downwards, thus in a childlike receiving of all knowledge about human existence, then this needs to be a way ever more conscious and more knowing of all the parts that are to be found upon it

Only out of such knowledge can progress arise, and with it the fulfilment of the concept of guidance of God

As an inseparable part of the guidance of God of the human spirit there belongs the work of the omnipresent animistic weaving

And in this animistic weaving there lies hidden precisely that hitherto unrecognised prospect of the eternal youthfulness of the human spirit

And also of a long and full life here on earth, which is held by men to be a miraculous fulfilment of the path of life

Yes, it is really so, that human life can be prolonged through the threads woven by animistic hands

Earthly life itself can be much longer than it is with earthmen today

Although man will never live on earth in an earthly body for ever, his earthly time too may be prolonged to a length which people today would hardly find credible

If mankind goes rightly along the newly shown way from the Light, that is, along the way which is to be wholly bound up with the co-operation with the animistic servants, then people may one day reach two centuries on earth, and often even more years of life in full strength and liveliness

This is not merely the deliberate mention of an enticingly shaped prospect for present-day man, but in this promise there is contained a clear way bearing genuine features within it, and thus the clear reality that it is possible

Above all everything is to be in full accord with the naturalness which lies in the possibilities of the body, in which there dwells a clear, awakened spirit living first and foremost through intuitive swinging

Present-day medical science has no inkling that upon the cellular plane of the human body, which through a right spiritual attunement unites itself with the Light, conditions can gradually form for a swinging of such a kind that a complete renewal, and thereby a rejuvenation, of all parts of the body will take place even several times in a lifetime

What is contained in this promise no one knows today, for it goes beyond all the boundaries of the thoughts of the hitherto intellectual experience

The human spirit, however, is a magnitude which in the past few thousand years has not been rightly brought to bear through the earthly body

Thereby many effects of the radiation which the spirit may bring to bear upon the body have become stunted, as have all the intermediate stages of radiation running between spirit, soul and body

The great abilities of irradiating the bodily apparatus which the spirit is permitted to wear here on earth, as a gross material covering granted by the animistic servants, these great abilities of the spirit are today already almost forgotten

Nevertheless it is possible to quicken them anew and, through the childlike, simple swinging of the human spirit, to bring them into accord with all parts of the coverings, so that in the end the earthly body too becomes many times more irradiated, more luminous and thereby more permeable to the influences which bestow upon it the ability of cellular renewal in a wholly natural development of life

What do people know of the radiation of the Light which permeates all things

Today they know almost nothing of this living power resting in the radiation which descends continually through the whole work of Creation

And yet the streaming of this living radiation descends constantly through the spheres of Creation and reaches as far as this earth

The radiation is woven by the hands of the weavers, but the human race ceased to receive it, and thereby severed itself from it entirely

The gaping abyss which still persists between the earthly world and all that is finer in the work of Creation does not permit a more fervent connection between the life here and the other stages of radiation

In the millennia of its distancing from the Light the earthly body of man has grown so dense and so dark that it has unlearned the receiving of the radiation of the Light and can scarcely work upon it at all any more

There is here, then, a state which clearly testifies to the deviation of the earthly world from all the other parts of the spheres of Creation

This state has now become habitual, although it ought never to have come about

People take as settled that dogma of thought that nothing can be changed in the present ordering of the manner of life by the way from within, that is, through an inward awakening of the liveliness of the spirit

It is taken for dreaming, and rather, through the slyness of the intellect, all the forces directed towards the search for eternal youth are concentrated solely upon material means and methods

The starting-point of the change, however, remains still where it has always been – in the inward awakening of mankind

Only this way will bring a shift towards the better

It will also open the way to the knowledge of all the supporting radiations which can be at man's disposal already today

And there are many threads of these fine radiations from the Light which bend down to the earth in order to heal and to raise up all life

Thus also the gross material life of the human body

The Source of youthfulness truly exists

It does not, however, mediate an eternity of this earthly life, as many materially minded people would wish, but leads first of all to the eternity of the being of the spirit

Under good conditions, however, it will also always prolong earthly life itself

The Source of youth rests in the daily receiving and the right absorbing of the radiation of the Light through the spiritual inner being

Its absorbing rests in the pure attunement of joy of the spiritual spark in man

The spark then transforms the radiation received from the Light into a living intuitive vibrancy, that is, into a lasting holding fast to the all-embracing volition for good

The vibrancy of the volition for good, bearing within it a childlike pure enthusiasm, is the Source of longevity

Although, then, no guaranteed outward means can be granted to man that would enable an eternal being in gross matter, there is nevertheless a way to a significant prolongation of earthly life

But in order that the forces of radiation resting in the threads around man may be rightly used, it is first needful that the spirit be awakened to the highest liveliness within

There is therefore the condition of a higher, intuitive manner of life, as the basic stage for all that is new which can then come to the human body as helping radiations woven by the animistic servants for the support of human existence on earth

This needs to go before as the fundamental condition

Everything else will then unfold automatically according to this attunement, as a consequence of the threads woven by the hands of the Vaenen and thereafter of the Alphar

If people knew what greatness, what splendour, and also what incomprehensible power for the overcoming of all difficulties rests therein, they would cleave to it lastingly in a single decision and would want nothing else than to be in blessed accord with the Harmony of the whole work of Creation

Thereby they would daily receive a part of the radiation which for the spirit is the longed-for Source of youth, promising eternity of being

Perhaps one day this will again become something better known, and thereby an awareness bringing blessing among people on earth

Strengthened in the accord of people thus more knowing, it would in the course of a single day bring healing to millions from all the most varied illnesses

Like a wave of a kind of enthusiasm and joy hitherto unknown to men, this Source of youth could spread itself over the whole earth

This state will also come one day, for it is so ordained in the great threads woven for the liberation of this earth from all the baseness and hopelessness of the people of today

Let all those, then, who are already permitted to know of it now lend their aid through their own intuitive inner being

Their work in this is regarded from the Light as the most important thing that people can today give of themselves to this earth

Everything else stands behind this all-embracing attunement of good in the inner being of man
