The Real New World

The world of the present days of mankind is not a real one

It is not such as it was meant to be, for it does not contain within it the needful freshness of a true life irradiated by the Light

It is therefore a world that is misty, veiled and remote from everything genuinely spiritual which is meant to help man on his way through life

That is why there is so much bitterness, so much inner and outer suffering, that is why there is the unfulfilment of the many who experience their life as something alien standing entirely outside their perceiving

The real world, which belongs to human spirits, is a world healthily natural, sublime, blessed and permeated by the knowledge of the Truth

Nothing of the kind is here, as is testified by so much confusion, so many opinions and antagonisms among all men on earth, and also within and outside the communities of all the religions

The knowledge of the Truth always attracts, unites and brings strengthening for all those who may really hold in their hands the Truth tended in a living way

If it may find a place in the inner being of man, then it brings him at once refreshment, equanimity and peacefulness, liberation, and also the needful inner strength for the true building-up

Where this is not so, there the knowledge of the Truth is not genuine, spiritually pure and living, in such a case it is merely the semblance of the possession of the Truth

It is then always only a delusion arising out of the supposed ownership of the knowledge of the Truth

Again it is merely a semblance, and thus nothing real

It is not the real state of the knowledge of the Truth, which indeed manifests itself at once in everything, that is, in the spirit as well as in the body, as that which makes all things luminous, which heals, and which bears within it the multiplying of a courageous, kindly and wise assent to life

This, however, is lacking today in the majority of men

Thereby everything else that comes forth from the hands of today's mankind is of necessity set upon a wrong basis of thought, out of which grows an apparent world, one far torn away from the nature of the work of Creation

The thought-world of men groping without the knowledge of the Truth is for the greatest part formed out of delusion, instead of being for the most part shaped out of the conscious knowledge of the earnest and sublime task of human existence on earth

That is why so many men grope in the mists which enshroud the earth and form only a supposed world instead of reality

The thought-forms arising out of human straying then return to the earth, into the materially shaped and tangible, visible world, of necessity only all that is deviant and thereby torn out of the real life which is to be found in the other parts of the work of Creation

We can behold this in all human activity, in science, in culture and art, in sport, indeed in all the customs, rules or earthly ordinances shaped by men which set bounds to the life of every man

All this today is the old world, which is now fading and dying away in its influence upon all the happening

Here on earth we have for a very long time not been living in a real world, but only in a delusive world formed out of human opinions and thoughts shaped from offshoots of a knowledge whose fundamental origin lies in a blasphemous ignorance of the work of Creation and of its Laws, and therefore of necessity also in ignorance of the Creator Himself

The shaping of the conditions of this world of men here may be called the shaping of a valley of shadows, for delusion rules here, and through it every spirit who is born here on earth must to a certain degree pass

No one is exempt from it, for it is a state which has penetrated into all the activity of men

And through this its permeation into everyday life it has over centuries and millennia formed conditions which in many respects, indeed in all matters, deviate from what was originally to be here as the soil enabling the ascent of human spirits in their right use of all the gifts which came to them through the helps from the Light

For a long time now all striving has been tending in an entirely different direction from the one which was set by the kindly Wisdom of God

Therefore this world is in every respect unreal, for it stands in opposition to the real nature of the whole of the rest of the work of Creation

Men, under the leadership of the intellect, which the tempter and Antichrist in Lucifer used with them for the tearing away from the Light, have banished from the earth all that purer which in the striving of thought tends towards the Truth

This showed itself visibly evident whenever there came to incarnation on earth a radiation of Divine unsubstantiate origin

At that moment everything earthly set itself against it, in order to attack with all cunning the incarnate Divine Light

And when then the radiation of the Divine kind left the earth, the intellect, after an interval, always set to work to weaken the Truth that had been brought, and to transform it into untruth and unreality

Thus in the opinions and conceptions of men there remained predominantly only all that is untrue, and thereby, seen from the Light, just that which in its severance from the original and real may be called unreal

We wade through it and grope with each further day, walking through a world built upon unreality and error, if we have the possibility of setting Truth and untruth side by side

Truth at once uncovers untruth

And soon, too, the real world will thrust from the earth the world that has been until now and is unreal

It will come soon, unexpectedly, and men will be taken unawares by it, for in their merging with the unreality of today they have for the most part lost the sense for discerning what is real and therefore important in the higher meaning of human spiritual existence in the work of Creation

Only here and there, where a higher intuitive perception flares up in a man, does that veil which forms the attunement here still tear open for a moment at the last minute, and then suddenly there can descend to the inner being thus opened a ray bearing the vibrations of the real experiencing of one of the virtues

Blessed are they who may still experience this here and there today

They are the ones who are prepared, so that when the present unreal world is transformed into a real one they will not be swept away together with this old apparent way of life, but may suddenly recognise the coming of that new promised world, joined through reality with the other parts of the work of Creation

Only through intuitive perception and living sensing can this happen to a man who fervently longs to live a genuine life here on earth

Therefore it is so needful to strive to experience everything in intuitive perception and in the inward seeking of harmony with truthfulness in all things

Everything can be intuitively perceived, and in this intuitive perceiving the answers to questions can be sought

Let us but consider how it is possible that this place here, which came forth from the hands of the Creator, can doubt His existence and His constant upholding of everything in life

And yet there are whole hosts of earthmen who see no contradiction for themselves in the fact that, although they do not know how the earth and the universe came into being, they bear within them the opinion, ingrained by parents and schools, that all this could not have arisen out of the Creator's power, but that it certainly came about otherwise

Although from the side of earthly science they hold in their hands no explanation of the beginning, they deny the existence of a higher kind above this material universe

They do not know how the universe came into being, yet they are convinced that it was otherwise than that the Creator provided the power for it

After that, however, it is not possible to call such opinions real, for along with objectivity they lose also their character of reality and are only a straying of thought marked by dullness

For whoever earnestly wishes rightly to perceive this question about the origin of the universe and of everything else must surely always come to this, that somewhere, for all that exists, there is a Starting-point

The Starting-point is the power which gave to everything life and also the direction of development

Whether men then name this power the Creative power or the power of God is all one, for it is only a description of that same Starting-point in different words

The creating power is here, for otherwise nothing of what is in the space around us would have come into being

Therefore it should at last be entirely evident that we partake in the working of a higher efficacy which surpasses us, and upon which we are in a certain sense dependent for our existence, like all the rest of space and life

But if millions of men live on earth without having even a fragment of clarity in this direction of knowledge, then within themselves they live in a world of unreality and cannot be counted among the humanly spiritual kind, which fundamentally bears within it the gift of finding a truthful answer to all these questions, that is, of finding the Truth therein

Men who consider themselves immensely valuable in their learning laugh at the ancient peoples, whose knowledge of the origin of Creation they describe as primitive, but in reality it was just the earlier peoples who in their intuitive sensing stood nearer to the true knowledge than does the majority of society today

Seen from the Light, the intuitive sensing of the men of earlier times was more natural and thereby nearer to the rightness of knowledge than is the view of men today

And that is only a fragment of the picture of the kind of world in which men live today and which they consider sufficient, highly progressive and learned, although they themselves shape it as a nebulous world, which is in the end the very cause of that inner disruption and of a certain kind of base existing which they call life

This world filled with groping is drawing near to its end, for it can go no further, and in its exhaustion, which is observable everywhere, it has already become a world of the past

Without men observing it, they are ever more surrounded by a new world which contains everything needful for it to be designated as a real world, and that in all the dimensions of what it brings

The real world, the new one, is already on the very verge of entering this earth and bringing the knowledge of the Truth, which will become the initial foundation for all the new building-up

The real world descends to the earth in the majesty of the Ray of Parzival as the promised rebirth of all pure life

In this the happening is the same as the time of the Easter resurrection, for it is precisely in the influx of the liberating radiation of the Truth that the new world becomes a saving one, bringing spiritual resurrection to all those who of themselves would no longer be able to walk further in their spiritual development, because they squandered the greater part of their strength on mending and patching up the shadows of the world that has been until now

The resurrection lies in the finding of a new noble meaning of existence, which is not only for this brief earthly time, but contains the prospect of the possibility of an eternal conscious continuance in the work of Creation

Here on earth this prospect has so far been only something secondary, which was added as a not wholly certain promise, in which the majority could not believe, because a clear description of all the connections bound up with it was lacking

That mistiness of thought which causes the groping of many good-natured men is only a confirmation of the faultiness of the human world as it has been until now

From the beginning the knowledge of this world here, as a part of the whole work of Creation, was meant to be something entirely evident and easily comprehensible even to the simplest childlike understanding

Therefore it brought into human striving so much hesitation, so much doubt and mistrust, when there was lacking that clarity and radiance of knowledge resting upon the evident inner intuitive perceiving that this is the natural path of the human spirit in his development towards a wise and knowing ennoblement, which thereafter opens for him the gate into the spiritual home high above this earth in the planes of the Light

In all this the world of men as it has been until now has failed and has therefore become deceptive and unreal, because it did not give, and even now still temporarily does not give, sufficient prospects of such a personal path for every man

But already a new power of true knowledge is penetrating here

The coming knowledge will swiftly prove how the world which has lasted here until now failed in so many false conceptions of men

It failed also in the wrong understanding of the relation between good and evil, it failed through the fabricated supposed need of their balance, and in yet further untruths which have become at home in the thought-conceptions circling around men who occupy themselves with something higher

Good and evil are surely not two magnitudes

The one and only magnitude is Good alone, as a manifestation of the Light proceeding from the Primordially Eternal Loving-Kindness and Justice of God

Evil is and will always be only the resulting manifestation of the wrong receiving and working-out of the Power of God, which is necessary for every creature in its refreshing beneficence and life-giving nature

This holds good in the case of the individual as well as with the greater parts to be found in the worlds remote from the Light in the work of Creation

Evil is the result of groping, and finally of the failure in the swinging of those creatures in the work of Creation who deviated from the great harmony and who in this deviation of theirs work disintegratingly against its effect, and in ever greater contradiction and defiance

This does not mean, however, that even this evil is not, throughout the whole time of its limited working, dependent upon the influx of the Power of God

Where there is one original life-giving power, there evil too must surely live from this power in its transience

In this dependence stands also Lucifer himself, for he does not stand on his own and independently of God, since he arose out of His radiation

He did not arise, however, as one called from the beginning to tempt and to lead human souls astray, but he himself, in his voluntary decision, withdrew from his originally most highly blessed and helping task from God

Within himself he decided upon such a thing, so that in the result he stood against God's loving flow of the happening in Creation

In his decision he stepped out of the vibrations of the Will of God and thereby … he failed

This, however, did not lead at once to his destruction, for within the great Laws of Creation the way of help had first to be set for the ending of this devastating work of the fallen Archangel, who originally was to have been the bearer of the Light into the remote parts of the work of Creation, to which this part of the materialities here also belongs

And in the meantime, which on earth lasted millennia, there grew up in many men a conception nourished by the cleverness of the intellect, that in the universe there are two opposing powers, of which one is good and the other works against good

Upon this assumption there have even arisen many philosophical expositions which are regarded as very valuable

This, however, changes nothing in the fact that it is a mistaken misunderstanding of all the real connections, and that it is therefore only a matter of human conclusions and assumptions, not of Truth

Thereby the human world gained still more in its unreality, out of which there then arose only the wholly sick cries of visionaries that God is dead, superseded, or even that man himself is also divine

Through this world of folly there still passes, from birth onward, everyone who incarnates into this temporarily lasting confusion of thought of earthly mankind

The newcomer, alas, has no idea how strong the confusion is and what rigidity in thinking has been reached

Besides this, however, no one today knows either how near is the drying up of these swamps of thought, which only deceive and confuse many human souls that seek something higher

And this will happen as soon as the real world enters the earth in its victorious ascendancy, swinging in accord with the Truth, which is inseparable from the vibration of the whole work of Creation

It descends along the Ray of Parzival and works more and more with every day

It comes as a new swinging which awakens and leads to vibration everywhere where the inner spiritual in men may still catch the distant sound from the heights of Creation

That mankind as a whole does not recognise the very essence in this happening, which changes everything towards the new, is not important

The sign that it is happening, however, is the omnipresent unrest and the advancing disruption of all the conceptions of men about the rightness of how, according to them, the world is to look

The disruption in this must be, because until now it was on the part of men always again and again only an endeavour to shape an unreal world resting upon assumptions and not upon the Truth

The Truth will shake all that is unreal and thereby worthy of being designated as false

Herein also lies the cornerstone which now crushes all human striving, which appears ever more hopeless as all the places of thought-forms of this kind lose power in the time of their drying up and of their vanishing from the space around the earth

The Light works upon this space of the thought-world of human nebulousness and conjecture in the same way as the burning glow of the sun's rays falls upon the hitherto hidden shadowy rubbish-heaps and quagmires

Under the power of the Ray of the Truth everything changes and forms at accelerated speed the soil for the new

Thus there will still be resurrected also all the spiritual seeds which in the swampy waters had long to rot, almost to the degree of destruction

Under the ray of the Light of the Truth many of them will then still be able to germinate, if they have preserved within themselves a pure will to live

Thereby the promise will be fulfilled of the saving of all those who have not yet quite fallen into the deadly sleep of the spirit

It rolls down from the heights, and there is nothing to do but joyfully to greet it, however much it will bring a shaking of the life of many a man

The animistic servants are coming to life in their working in all the elements around the earth and within it

The fresh breath of spring now brings a further part of the radiation which will bring the world of today nearer to the real life that streams through the work of Creation

Therein lies the promise of the Resurrection and of the Judgment at the same time

Therefore let everyone now be with his spirit in the highest vigilance

Receive entirely anew all that is happening, so that the true knowledge may come, freed from all the wrong rigidity of the intellect which has hitherto influenced man

Intuitive perception is to penetrate into everything in the purest genuineness of the sensing of the present

All the Words of the Son of God, Jesus, and also the Word of Truth of the Son of Man, are to come alive as one great whole of goodness and purity in the human inner being

Now comes the age of a real new life, in which the Truth of God will permeate everything as the guiding knowledge of all life

This is not a simile of words, nor is it an intellectual philosophical reflection

Indeed it is not even a poetic metaphor of words about the life of ideal men on earth, but it is reality

That all this is now coming with all its accompanying manifestations in the human world is that purest reality which can come to the human spirit for his experiencing

Therefore everyone is to receive all that is now beginning to happen wholly, truthfully and really in his inner being, for his spirit, so that he may be refreshed and endowed by it through the influx of the Light which is contained therein for him

The real new world is forcing its way towards this earth

Thereby in the end absolutely everything in this human world will be new, beginning with men themselves

Then it will go from one step to another in a great ascent and building-up out of the Light, such as has never yet been here

The shadows will dissolve, the tears will be dried, and everything will victoriously blossom into a beauty which will be permitted to swing lastingly in God's blessing
