The Ray of the Promise of God

Among men on Earth nothing is known today of all the promises of God which from the beginning were bound up with the present time upon this Earth

Thus no one knows of the great preparations of whole hosts of luminous animistic and spiritual servants, who devotedly work on unceasingly so that the fulfilment of these promises may come about in this universe

The strongest thing, which from time immemorial has been the centre of all the forming events concerning the Earth, is the Ray of Parzival – the Will of Parzival, the King and Guardian of the chalice with the life-giving power of the Love of God, Who at His own entreaty received in the Castle of the Grail from God the Father the promise of the help of all the servants, so that at the close of one great stage of development in the Subsequent Creation He might bring help to the human souls dwelling in the planes of materiality

From time immemorial tidings of the coming of the promised help from God have been received here on Earth by people graced thereto

Thousands of earthly years in advance all the happening in the spheres of the Light was set in motion, so that when the time appointed by God arrived, these promises bound up with it might come to their fulfilment

Everything was prepared so that the Will of Parzival, formed into a radiantly glowing Ray, might be permitted to force its way down into the distant materialities of the Subsequent Creation

Incomprehensible to human thinking and working independently, the Will of Parzival, which is at the same time inseparably bound up with the Divinely unsubstantiate origin in Parzival Himself, ever surrounded by hosts of helpers, sank ever lower and lower into the planes of the work of Creation

In a living manner this Will drew to itself the substance of the individual planes through which it passed

Similarly as it was in the case of the Divine mystery in Jesus Christ, it stood upon each plane through which it was just passing directly among those who were open to it in expectation

Everywhere this living Will of Parzival entered, it was recognised by the servants prepared for it in fervent longing as the outwardly dazzlingly radiating figure of the exalted Hero and King

By its presence this onward advancing Will called to itself all who longed to be of help to it in its task of fulfilment

Although it was a Ray formed out of volition, its incomprehensible living nature enabled all who could approach it to recognise in it Parzival Himself directly in His own nature, in which He, performing consecrated service to God, remained in the Castle of the Grail at the summit of the work of Creation

The Ray penetrating Creation formed a path as far as the planes of gross materiality, where then, with the share of the admirable co-operation of the animistic weavers, the Alphar, it was permitted to receive into itself, for its quickening, the prepared little earthly body of a child

This event of the union came about approximately at the time of the Christmas festival

The Will united itself with the earthly gross material bodily covering at just that time, in continuation of the path of the promise of the Love of God, which two thousand years before had vibrated in the birth of Jesus

Thus on 18 April 1875 there was born on Earth a man by the name of Oskar Ernst Bernhardt, bearing within his inner being, instead of a human spiritual nature, the Ray of the Will of Parzival

The Ray incarnated into gross materiality as an independent part of the unsubstantiate radiation of God, in fulfilment of the ancient promise of the coming of the Son of Man to this Earth

At first a bandage of forgetfulness lay upon His sight, so that He should not know Who He really was

This was done by the Wisdom of God so that He might come to know upon Himself, through experiencing among men, all their errors and faults, from which they suffered and by which they were so strongly fettered that it was impossible for them to ascend upwards to the Light

It was a sacrifice of the Divinely unsubstantiate radiation, which in the Ray of Parzival incarnated in an earthly body suffered under the thousandfold faults of mankind

Under those faults which showed themselves here partly out of the spiritual lukewarmness of men, but above all through the influence of the perniciously working Luciferian principle of temptation, under whose effect they multiplied into many forms of evil

The Ray of Parzival, united with the earthly body, grew stronger with every further experiencing of one of the human faults, until at last, at a certain degree of becoming luminous, it attained the complete falling away of the bandage

He became aware of Who He is and what His task is among men in this part of the Subsequent Creation

In that moment He entered fully consciously upon His task, which belonged to the further promises of God

His task, fulfilled ever more and more, here upon the earthly plane which belongs to rigidly cold materiality and which in its ponderousness lies far from all Light, was to break through for the human spirits imprisoned in many errors and blind turnings a clear path upwards to the spiritual home, by purifying and completing the content of the Words of the Son of God Jesus, Who before Him, likewise sunk down as the Ray of the Love of God sent out for rescue, had anchored the Word of Truth for the comprehension of the simple people of that time

The Will of Parzival, that is, the part sent out by Himself from the Castle of the Grail down into the Subsequent Creation, has fulfilled its task in the accomplishment of the God-led governance of the worlds

The liberation and the free path opened to every human spirit striving towards the Light are anchored in the materialities by the radiation of the Truth mediated by Him, like a permanently provided rescue rope

This luminous rescue rope works beyond time, and the time of its recognition and acceptance by men on Earth will come in the time of the greatest distress

The Grail Message as the Holy Word of Truth is bound up with the materialities of this universe, and through its kind of radiation works as a strong link with its Bearer, Who now abides above these worlds as the Judge fulfilling in all directions, His radiation leading everything ever more strongly to the just fulfilment of the Will of God the Father in the world-part of Ephesus

Besides this important fulfilment there was, however, still a promise for all spirits who at some time upon their paths in the Subsequent Creation met, directly or only indirectly, the radiation of the Divinely unsubstantiate kind, that they would be able to take part in the great happening of the turning point of the ages in the gross material universe in the nearness of the Ray of Parzival

Thus the All-Wisdom of God the Father prepared this path for many developing souls, but above all for the already fully developed and mature human spirits who, for the purpose of the blessing of the task entrusted to them, were raised up to Patmos

They were permitted to come along prepared paths and to reach, in the plane of gross materiality, the nearness of the Divinely unsubstantiate radiation

The devotion and the vow of faithfulness of these spirits led them to the fulfilment of their own longing to take part in the great liberating work of the Light in the world-part of Ephesus

For these the Will of God the Father finally also prepared paths, so that they might in some way be brought to the Son of Man and be permitted to help Him in His gross material working

For many of them there lay in this the gift of the complete and victorious attainment of blessed maturity, and thereby also of a triumphant return to the planes of Light in the Primordial Creation

It was again and only the Grace of God which brought all this to fulfilment in the life-paths of whole hosts of human spirits prepared to help the Light in its victorious liberation and raising upwards of one world-part of the materialities

In these spirits longing to serve the Light this destiny was woven in as a strengthening for development in the finding of themselves in the work of Creation

The Will of Parzival itself had an independent share in this in the fulfilment of the promise, for it worked upon a fulfilment which had to be accomplished even without the participation of human spirits

This lay in the purification and completion of the anchoring of the Divinely unsubstantiate radiation in the Word of Truth

This part, resting upon Divine working, was also entirely fulfilled

Non-fulfilment on the side of the Divinely unsubstantiate radiation did not come into question, for from God there always comes only unshakableness in every promise

Beside this fulfilment of God there was at the same time granted yet one more great gift for mankind

It was that part of the fulfilment of the vow of service of the human spirits

The connected part, in which the servants incarnated on Earth were, in the nearness of the Son of Man, to bring the power of the radiation He brought in the Word to the highest unfolding and to the building up of a new happening on Earth already during the time of the simultaneously proceeding turning point of the ages, was prepared by the Wisdom of God as the ideal of all the paths of development

Above all, all those who at the taking of the vow of service in the luminous heights had pledged themselves to the fulfilling task of the Ray of Parzival were to learn much that was new in this

Contained in this was the incomprehensible Grace of God, whereby the spiritual, circling around the Ray of Parzival incarnated on Earth, could through its own transformation according to the Word of Truth hasten the happening on Earth and create in the course of a few decades a new human world vibrating wholly in the radiation of the Will of God

In this part lay the great opportunity of a transformation of world happening, in which an unprecedented ascent could have been attained in all human knowledge of the Laws of Creation, in a renewed connection with the planes of Light, and above all also in a newly formed co-operation with the world of the animistic servants

The world of men on Earth could within a few short earthly years have changed entirely to a new direction of development

It was an incomprehensibly gracious gift of God for mankind, bound up with the fact that at that time the Divinely unsubstantiate radiation was anchored directly among them in an earthly body through the Ray of Parzival

That time of the grace-filled gift, however, passed by unused by men

Mankind rejected the new and remained stuck in the old

The gifts brought by the Light had to ebb away, for their ripeness, appointed for that time, had passed

And because the Will of God the Father knows the weaknesses of the human spiritual, which, sunk into matter and thereby distant from the direct Light, often wavers and only seldom fulfils that to which it first pledges itself, paths were already prepared at that time for the continuation of the happening even in the case that the first enthusiasm of the incarnated servants should not suffice for the whole ideal building up of a new human direction on Earth in the following of the radiation of the Truth of God

Therefore there is now that time which may be described as the fulfilment of the All-Wisdom of God in a development which follows as the automatic appointing by the Will of God of the newly set paths

The Ray of Parzival, as a part of the Will of Parzival, radiates above the gross material universe and by its power drives everything forward in the further development towards the fulfilment of all the promises

The promises will be fulfilled, as it was laid from the beginning by the Will of God the Father into the great development of the whole work of Creation

For earthly mankind, however, it will have other forms and will go by other shapes of happening accompanying all the individual stages of the fulfilment of the promises

And towards these other forms mankind is now drawing near, driven to experience them by the irresistible pressure of the Will of Parzival

We are just entering a new section of development which has never been here before and which fulfils itself in a living manner in ways that correspond exactly to the conditions of men's life on Earth

All that is contained in it men are unable to imagine

Neither are they able to imagine even in part that together with the Justice of God there is always contained in it, in great measure, the Love of God

All that now happens, therefore, and all that will yet come upon this Earth, is the natural fulfilling of the Laws of God, which are accelerated in their effect by the pressure of the radiation of the Ray of Parzival, which, united with the Holy Spirit Imanuel, now brings one earthly fulfilment after another

Therefore everything will finally come about exactly as it was foreordained in the great courses of development

It will only be clothed in the conditions of the present state of mankind, with all the manifestations of intellectual development, in which the technology and skills of men appear seemingly at the summit of great progress

This seeming progress will show itself ever more as insignificant, for the fulfilment will concern first and foremost men's own experiencing in their thinking and intuitive perceiving

The experiencing in the inner being always remains the same for man, and is always the most important thing that counts for the weaving of the threads of his fate

What outward gross material conditions prevail meanwhile is in reality wholly secondary for the hands of the weavers

Inward suffering or inward joy, anger, or an all-carrying enthusiasm for the volition to good, are in their origin in the inner being of man always the same

The complete inward collapse of a man within himself is likewise independent of outward material wealth and of the measure of comfortable conditions of life created by the intellect

And in exactly the same way the experiencing of the state of blessedness in the pure uplifting of the spiritual inner being to the Light is independent of the outward conditions in which it comes to a man

It is only earthmen who lay too much emphasis upon the outward world of matter, seeking in it the answers as to whether the promises of God are being fulfilled or not

A higher liveliness should therefore be applied in this by those who endeavour to understand today's world, so as to unite it within themselves with the inward presentiment of the greatness of the Wisdom of God

In reality everything is much easier and more limpid

Man needs only to follow the kinds of radiation which interpenetrate everything and which are in reality that which truly determines the development of the happening, both in the individual and in mankind as a whole

The outward forms of the materially visible world almost always lead only to confusion

Therefore it is necessary always to follow the kinds of radiation and not the outward shape of things

Herein prevails an immense difference, which influences the judgment even of people who otherwise strive honestly

But all this too will yet come more fully into “the light of day”, as it is said among men

Then in many people there will no longer be even a single doubt that we find ourselves in the great time of the intensifying fulfilment of all the promises given by God the Father

The sooner anyone grasps this, the more easily will he pass through the coming events

He will rid himself of all fears and anxieties about the development of the outward world, and in his inner being there will at last spread, together with trust in the All-Wisdom of God, a peaceful harmony

Those, however, who do not achieve it will be hounded within themselves to the point of an almost complete exhaustion of their spiritual inner being

Such a thing is entirely needless, and it brings only harm to people who reason thus wrongly, and to all who listen to the confusion of the many deranged individuals who spread panic

Shouting and the spreading of unrest never helps, for in the end it leads only to a cramped state in all reasoning and acting

Neither panic-mongers nor loud-mouths can ever mediate the building up willed by God, because their ways bear within themselves the foundation of decomposition and destruction

Peace and building up can likewise never arise out of aggressive anger and hatred towards one's fellow men

All this, however, can be observed today in the radiation around individual people and around whole nations

Seriously reasoning people should be guided by this in their assessment of those who claim to know something

Where there is no peacefulness and no peace, where there is no striving for the fulfilment of harmony, there the knowledge of the Light is never rightly settled in a man, however much such an individual may claim of himself that he possesses some knowledge

The knowledge which he supposes to be his own possession has remained outside his inner being and is an object of his intellectual thinking

So it is with many believers, and also with those who today profess various spiritual movements

Where anger and hatred can still boil up, there the soul of the man is connected with dark vibrations, no matter whether outwardly such a man boasts of knowledge about God and the Truth

The decisive thing is what fruit the volition of a man brings forth when he acts fully in his free will

The radiation within men and around them now determines, in accelerated fashion, the real paths of the further development

Therefore it is always fitting, together with trust in the Help of God, to hold within oneself an inward peace and outwardly always to bear oneself with the nobility of character of a mature spirit

Such a man is best prepared to pass through the coming fulfilment of all the promises of God here on Earth in protection and without harm

With him the Spirit of Christ will always be near, leading him and helping him through hosts of luminous helpers

Such people may be regarded as those who in the present time are prepared for the spiritual experiencing of the 18th of April
