The Radiant Gearwork of the Animistic Working in the Subsequent Creation

Even as through the whole of Creation there flow the streams of the animistic weaving, which upon the steps of the high radiation of the planes of Light in the Primordial Creation formed at the very beginning the forms of the glory and the beauty of the spheres of Light, so also in the Subsequent Creation the animistic brings forth in its working forms and shapes which are a support for the development of the spiritual germs in the material worlds

The forces of the animistic kind pour over from the places of their sources in Valhalla and in the gardens of Asgard down into the materialities, like a fountain whose streams overflow from the upper bowl-shaped reservoirs ever lower, uniting for the working in the dense circles of the materialities in which the several universes of gross materiality lie

In this overflowing and uniting the animistic works in its service like a wisely administered gearwork, quickening the otherwise wholly motionless, lifeless worlds of the materialities

Only the inflow of animistic diversity out of the reservoirs in the gardens of Asgard bears into the materialities glowing and pressure, and thereby the quickening for the shaping of the forms which earthman calls, in his simplification, the material world of the universe and of nature

For the right comprehension of this picture the investigating man needs to recognise that matter, its quickening and its maintaining, came about and also today comes about in steps, always in successive inflows of ever new animistic forces descending to the materialities across the bridge of Hiemdall out of the several reservoirs of life

That in the materialities, in their development, everything comes about in gradual steps, many people already divine from the Bible, where the arising of the world is described from the standpoint of the several days of creation

Each single day needs to be perceived as a rounded epoch of the development of the species

Earthly science too has recognised that here upon the earth life developed in cycles of single epochs which gradually formed matter and life in a developmental ascent, from the basic forms up to the highest, most complex organisms such as we find upon the earth today

It is precisely all these findings of men which should lead every seriously investigating person to the recognition that life upon the earth is the result of a wisely working gearwork of animistic forces which, in the service of the grace-filled Divine intent, bore and still ever bear into matter the animistic weaving and glowing, and thereby prepare the path of the human spiritual species for its development

Alas, nothing of this dawns upon earthly science, and thus it must remain severed from that which is most precious, from the recognition of the Wise Will of God, which brings all this to life through the working of the animistic

Withal the comprehension of what is set forth above offers itself quite plainly and recognisably, if only one truly wishes to see and at last to comprehend the reason for the arising of the universe

The universe is filled with movement and with life for the fulfilment of the high task given to the animistic servants by the Will of God, for the shaping of the soil needful for the anchoring of the human spiritual species upon its path of ripening towards wisdom and wholeness of the spiritual inner being

It may be said that all that takes place in the gearwork of the animistic working is in movement so that the spiritual germs upon their path of development towards maturity may have where to take hold, and, with the support of the animistic working helping them from all sides, may gradually ascend once more upward to the Light, where for every spirit who was permitted to complete his development and in his maturity set the flame of the spirit ablaze there lies his true home, the paradise of the luminous plane in the Primordial Creation

Thus we may gradually behold the glory and the wisdom which always, under all circumstances, wells up in everything that the hands of the animistic servants fashion

Let us then follow in basic outline the picture of the development of the gross material universe

In the first streaming there descended particles originating from the lowest plane of the gardens of Asgard, when spiritual particles of Light enveloped by the animistic working flew into the space of the universes, in order to unite here and to form ever new intermediate steps, until at last there could arise out of them the primal basic matter of the universe in the form of the smallest particles, the quarks

These particles joined into further particles of matter, ever denser and heavier, which were driven together by a force of the attracting kind, in which there manifests itself the radiation of the spiritual nuclei which are a part of the forming everywhere in Creation

These nuclei have nothing in common with the spiritual essence of man, which is of another kind and of another power

The spiritual nuclei mentioned stream, like the basic primal substance of the Light, through the whole of Creation as a web from which the animistic may take, upon all steps, for the weaving of new forms whenever it is needed

For the weaving of this primal substance the conditions had first to be created for the material part of the Subsequent Creation

At the beginning there stood here side by side Hathmes and Hermetes, sent out into the far distances by O-dio-nar, as working together upon the creating of space and time in the materialities

Their charge was the forming of a space into which the spiritual nuclei, enveloped for that purpose, might stream in abundance, so that the foundation of the building substance in the universe might take shape

The stream of light plunged into nothingness and, condensing as it cooled, formed the primordial substance into which ever new waves of inflowing streams struck, pouring out of the opened first ocean in the gardens of Asgard

This movement, and the pressure created by the movement, were guided together by Hathmes and Hermetes like two arms joined into one single whole, creating in exalted service

Out of their working there formed itself the glowing, radiant substance which precedes all forming in the gross material universe

Incomprehensible forces and energies rolled through the worlds, so that a new division might arise in the Subsequent Creation

Hathmes and Hermetes delivered, down to the last particle, the perfectly prepared foundation of the substance of the universe

Under their guidance the Alphar formed at the same time, coming into the universe still flowing with light, as devoted servants who had been given the task of the joining of forms

Their working, completing one another, shaped new movement and pressure, and thereby space came into being and within it the transformations taking place, which gave rise to that magnitude which earthly men call time

In reality it is always only pressure, and the movement called forth by this pressure, which ranges itself in successive transformations, which we may more rightly call a flowing development of forms, and in whose sequence the magnitude of earthly measured time first comes into being

This time is relative and can change in the single epochs of development in proportion to the pressure and the glowing

Thereby there arose, among other things, the deceptive impression which earthly science bears today, which measures everything in the universe back into the past by the flow of the present perceiving of time, whereby no account at all is taken of a certain cooling and thereby also of a slowing of many happenings in the universe of today

This, however, is only one of the many errors of present-day science, where the past of the universe is judged too narrowly from the standpoint of the present state of the universe

The power in which everything in the universe developed, whose foundation was the working of Hathmes and Hermetes, was always greater towards the beginning, towards the actual glowing heat of the universe, and thereby the speed of the development of the universe was other than it is today

That we find upon the earth today mighty sediments of rock, and in these sediments the fossils of ancient plants and animals, which affect us as though they had come into being over billions of years, does not mean that in reality everything did not unfold more swiftly, in the single epochs by leaps, where the present result of these accelerated happenings creates the deceptive impression that it was always a matter of the speed by which we measure time today

In reality everything at the beginning was more condensed and thereby also more swiftly moving

Only the later abating of the pressure brought the cooling of the universe, and thereby everything could gradually grow larger and looser, without, however, changing its original structure

Through the expansion of the universe there comes about an ever greater looseness, and thereby the forms of all things grow larger

It may therefore be said that even the great dimensions of the animals and plants of that time, which are found today in the rock, were in reality smaller than they are today, when through the release of pressure the matter of the earth has cooled and at the same time grown larger

Together with the earth, so also everything that is upon it

It was just the same with the sun and with the other planets in the universe

For a right view into the past we need to add to our sight a pictorial comprehension of the happenings, in the recognition that everything in the universe is sinking from the heights downward

In this sinking the perceiving of the speed of the transformations changes, and thereby also the duration of these happenings which follows from it

If we picture the universe as looking like two opposed funnels joined together, turned towards each other with their wider parts, then the narrowing at the beginning was subjected to a heightened pressure which was given by the initial narrow neck of the funnel

This funnel widens further, and together with this widening the sinking starry space slackens and slows in its rotation and also in the development of forms

At a certain point this development comes into a state in which for some time it settles and continues to flow more evenly in a calmer pulsation

It was precisely at this point that the first spiritual germs incarnated into the materialities to enter upon the gross material part of their development

The luminosity and the increasing maturity of the spiritual inhabitants of the planets in the universe were to maintain the said height at which the universe was to rotate, where a sufficient inflow of spiritual and of animistic streaming could hold the step upon which gross material life could unfold for the long time foreseen from the Light

The wavering and at last the fall of the human spirits in the gross material world brought it about that the earth and the further planets of the part of Ephesus came lower and thereby overstepped the boundary, beneath which they are now drawn with ever greater acceleration towards the opposite funnel, in which at last everything will again pass away under the blows of the spear of Hareiars

Only a renewed taking hold with the help from the Light, and above all the restoring of the right walking upon the way upward on the part of earthly men, can bring about a braking and even a counter-movement directed once more upward to the point of sustaining of the whole universe

For this the Light sent help twice to men in the streaming of the Love of God, and that in Jesus and thereafter in Parzival – Imanuel, Who brought the Word of Truth for the saving of men and of the earth

Now it rests with men whether they will succeed in finding this help and in turning it to account in the right manner of their spiritual ascent

It may be said that everything lies in the hands precisely and solely of the earthly men of today, who by their volition and their striving form an important boundary point very like the pans of a balance

Whither the pan tips in the coming years, thither will the whole universe of Ephesus with all its parts of the materialities be directed

It is therefore supremely important for earthly mankind to know of this and to do everything for the change which will lead to a stronger union with the Light

Men should now be made acquainted with this in as great a host as possible, for the power of thoughts towards a better life, springing out of the depth of the spiritual inner being directed towards God, can yet bring everything to victory

The Ray of Parzival is now helping in its penetrating radiation every striving of the spirit, so that this may manifest itself more strongly and more distinctly

It is therefore possible, in harmony with the Ray of Parzival, to change much for the better and to halt the inclination of the direction which now preponderates downward

Every human being has therein his share, which will in the end play a decisive part in the further development of the worlds

But … let us return to the actual theme, which concerns the building up and the quickening of the gross material worlds on the part of the animistic

At the very beginning, when the first particles penetrated to the gross material boundary of the universe, everything stood under the mighty pressure of the direct working of the animistic radiation

Everything was formed first in more delicate prototypes, and these prototypes worked as guides for the forming of the heavier steps of matter

Thanks to the greater pressure and also to a certain glowing heat of the universe, which sprang from the enthusiastic creativeness of the animistic servants called to the work by the exalted O-dio-nar in the halls of Valhalla, much came about in a developmental sequence which today would no longer be possible at all

In the then setting of the animistic gearwork, however, the happenings which ran their course were accomplished in a time which today would appear positively miraculous

At that time the effects of the mighty Sirius, of Thonorun and of Orkanos were already fully at work here, and Neptune too was preparing for his entry

Thus whole parts of the worlds in the universe arose in a sequence which may be called well-nigh a flash, out of which there afterwards took shape, in a swift ensuing forming, the galaxies, the stars and the planets

This part of the epoch then settled at a certain step of changing happenings, and the matter of the universe seemed to draw breath in rest

At that moment, however, further streams of the animistic weaving were already directed towards the materialities, flowing out of the reservoirs situated upon the several steps of the gardens of Asgard

In the first arising there was here the basic unconsciously animistic, as the original creative substance of the materialities

Therewith was completed the first day of the great forming in the materialities, of which the Bible speaks

In the ensuing flow, after the settling of the biblical “first day”, there descended to the material universe the unconsciously animistic of one step higher, containing within it the basic breath of life, which united with matter into wholes that formed the single particles of the organisms, known to earthly men as cells

Here yet an explanation is needful, that one biblical day is in reality, from the standpoint of the universe, a longer time of development, and is therefore not a day from the standpoint of the present measuring of time

The biblical “day” we need to perceive as a stretch embracing within it the time needful for the beginning, the course and the completion of that particular stretch of the working of the animistic forces in the universe

In this respect man is to receive the Bible as a pictorial book of the spirit, and thus not to bind himself to a narrowly earthly perceiving of the concepts used in the Bible

Directly after the first day there followed the second day, when the elements under the guidance of their rulers took command of this world, and their awakening settled into the happenings which we know as the fulfilment of the physical and chemical laws in the gross material worlds

Here there came to the earth Alphar of ever higher rank, in order to create the first conditions for the taking hold of the first particles of life, and their joining of threads was the true pioneering work of life upon the earth

Beside them there descended to the earth also, gradually, towards their birth and development, the Elves and the Dwarves, who took hold of the threads pre-formed by the Alphar and began to learn to work with matter and with life in matter

In the work of all these servants there was contained joy and enthusiasm for the creativeness with which they wove the intermediate steps of the prototypes of the forms which were yet to arise upon the earth and to spread for the filling of the earthly world of nature

As the glowing heat of the earth developed, so there developed the forms of life, which always a step behind followed the prototypes in the more delicate, where these, like delicate seeds, germinated and formed the shapes according to which the material particles of life, the cells, clustered into ever higher organisms of plants

Beside the plants, which the hands of the Elves tended under the guidance of the Alphar, there descended to the earth the first vibrations of a more luminous kind, and for the earthly world the first seeds of life were brought in the form of cells of the animal kind

The prototypes of the more delicate step glowed through the compounds of substances upon the earth so that these united under magnetic pressure into that result in which at last the cell of the first creature was permitted to ring out with the singular vibration of a life of its own

These cells, as soon as it was possible, were led by the hands of the exalted Alphar to the threads of the prototypes, so that the luminosity of these prototypes might become the guide for the development in the material world

The Elves and the little Dwarves were therein taught for the right joining of the prototypes, and their skill led the Alphar to joyfulness and to trust in their further independent working

The first organisms of animals, which we call the primeval insects, shaped themselves towards an awakening in the materialities

Thus there were fulfilled almost at the same time the third and the fourth biblical day, in one joining of a great happening, which again ran its course in swift fulfilment, for everything was still glowing through and there were here no braking and cooling influences

After this time there came again upon the earth a moment of rest and of quiet ripening, when this time belonged to the servants of the elements, who worked in the rocks of the earth, upon the earth and above the earth for its ripening towards new transformations

Great stars and comets flitted through the universe and passed the earth for its fructifying, so that it might draw breath for a new step

Thus, at the right setting of the stars, there descended to the earth the forms of great plants which were to bring quickening and to change the climate, so that thereafter the animals might awaken here to their existence, which were first to emerge out of the surging waters of the great earthly ocean

To the earth there descended ever new prototypes of the forms of plants, and there were so many of them that it appeared as though this stream had no exhausting in the diversity of shapes and of colours

The pictures of the luminous forms out of the gardens of Asgard were brought by helpers from the animistic gardens, so that the earthly forms of plants might gradually develop towards the reflection of these perfect prototypes

The hands of the Elves worked by day and by night, and as though by a miraculous happening there raised themselves out of the hitherto algae, mosses and lichens all at once plants, and ever higher and higher ones

Their leaves, trunks and spreading crowns made it possible for animals to develop in the shallow warm waters, whose patterns again descended from the gardens of Asgard, so that through their radiation they might call forth the magnetic clustering of forces, whereby the unconscious animistic radiation was permitted to anchor itself in the earthly forms following the patterns of the prototypes

Out of the waters there rose winged dragonflies and fluttered about the trees straining upward to the azure sky

After the dragonflies there arose out of the pupae the first coloured beetles and butterflies with enormous wings

Their crossing paths, along which these creatures floated through the air from place to place, led them to the fulfilment of the service of the pollinating of the first blossoms

Through the air there wafted the resins of the plants and the essential oils of the opening blossoms, which grew larger so as to fill the space yet more strongly with their fragrances and to allure to themselves the multiplying insect inhabitants of the earthly world

As though it came about from one day to the next, so swiftly did the shapes of the first plants and animals change, in which there still pulsed the unconscious animistic principle of life descending from the reservoir of the ocean of life in Asgard

In a pulsation which today is wholly remote from the human rhythm of life everything hastened forward towards an ever more perfect union in the natural law of the preservation of life

The fifth day was completed, and all the animistic awaited the inflow of life out of the reservoir in which until then there slumbered the luminous particles out of which the animal souls were to be formed

A great moment was this hour, when there drew near to the earth this new, singular radiation, in which there vibrated and pulsed something wholly other than in the hitherto streams of the animistic

Borne down by the hands of the Alphar, who at that time once more drew near to the earth, the first luminous germs of the animal souls plunged into the bodies in which blood was to begin to course, so that through its radiation it might bind the soul to the body and thereby quicken the organism of the earthly forms of the animals

The first singular creatures in their forms, the primeval fishes and the primeval saurians, set the waters of the earthly seas rippling, so as to bring a new kind of life upon the earth

Here too there came a change in the length of this stretch of development, which brought a longer duration before the species of the animal forms divided into the multitude of independent branches of development, and these gradually filled the whole earth

In earthly reckoning this time approached a duration of the first millions of years

The animistic weaving sought forms for the shaping of the intermediate steps which, like bridges, were to create the steps of development of the animal species down to the time of the present day

Here the learning of the animistic beings joined with the possibilities of dense matter, where nothing could be hastened nor delayed, for everything had its exactly appointed room for ripening

The aim of these intermediate steps was, beside the development of the animal forms in matter itself, the shaping of a basic step upon whose summit stood the incarnating of the spiritual into the gross materiality of the earthly world

Again there flitted in the heavens above the earth comets and planets, which by their kind of radiation influenced the earth, so that everything might ripen to the right step of maturity

The fifth day of the animistic forming in the universes was completed, and slowly there drew on the dawn of the sixth day, when everything stood prepared for the developing of specially chosen animals appointed for the incarnation of the first inhabitants of the earth, whose origin was of the spiritual kind

The sixth day began to unfold as a singular chapter in which there lay hidden the completion of all the hitherto creative work of the animistic beings in the universe

The dawning sixth day was a day of great expectation …
