The Nothingness of Existing Knowledge

THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – April 11, 2022

Only after the passing of several generations will there arise for the new and spiritually awakened mankind on Earth the understanding of what a nothingness of knowledge was held to be great in comparison with the real knowledge of the work of Creation, which mankind is only yet to be permitted to receive from the Light

The crystal clarity of a true comprehension of many happenings, which even today remain hidden from the greatest part of men, will bring a freedom of breath and an uplifting freshness in the living of a life such as men today cannot dream of even in their most longing dreams

But all this is yet to come

Only through the complete breaking of the curse of Lucifer, of that perniciously working principle of the temptation of the darkness, will mankind be permitted, in spiritual strengthening, gradually to free itself from all the confining material fetters in its experiencing of life

With every advance forward a new blessed power will be able to pour into the daily consciousness of man, so that, like heavy scales which through their weight have almost grown fast upon his spiritual sight, it may fall away and free the prospect which will become the original wealth for his inner being

Although even today men are surrounded by the same happenings and by the same manifestations of the Laws of Creation, they cannot perceive them, because they do not occupy themselves earnestly with them, and thus do not wish to make them their own, and therefore the greatest treasures of true knowledge must still literally slip through their fingers

There is here as yet no sufficiently strongly lived-through knowledge of the work of Creation with its lucidly working lawful happenings, upon which the human comprehension of the world could firmly take hold, so that men might be permitted courageously to rouse themselves to the ascent upwards

The very simplest and plainest things still remain uncomprehended today, and thereby their beneficent power is not used

Instead, precious humanly spiritual faculties are squandered upon particulars which man can never use for a real ascent and for peace on this Earth

Instead of keeping to a clear direction in a pure knowledge of the Laws of Creation, men cast themselves into all the worthless side turnings in the supposition that there the hidden treasure of Life will be discovered by them

Yet the starting point of all Life, the Holy Grail, is lastingly directly above every man

It remains above all creatures as the wellspring drawing to itself every courageous striving after the attaining of the full knowledge of the Truth

The way of approach to it, as also the way to the spiritual home Paradise, which is to be found in the spiritual part of Creation lower down beneath the Grail, leads solely through the complete inward awakening of man

The Grail has been from all ages, as the starting point of all that is, at the summit of the work of Creation, and also the Laws appointed for this work of Creation stream forth through it into space for the enlivening and strengthening of all creatures

The neutral power lastingly sought by all springs from the starting point of God's eternal inexhaustibility above the Grail, so that, like an all-enlivening flood tide, it may permeate everything that opens itself to it in pure trust

The Power waves and in tides flows through the universe also into the material places here of the Subsequent Creation

All around men it streams, it surrounds them, and yet the real strengthening, which lies in the use of accord with the Laws of Creation for the ascent of the individual and of the whole of society, lies before man blasphemously unused

It is because for millennia this connection with the powers above the earth has seemed to men too childlike, too simple, for their earthly intellect to occupy itself with it

Yet the condition for the connection with this strengthening, which is prepared by the Light for man as the original support for his spiritual and also his earthly ascent, is precisely that inward openness bound up with a pure spiritual life

In that simplest faculty of receiving the great Laws laid into the work of Creation there is then contained for man everything needful for the unfolding of the greatest works which he could create

He would however have to receive it in humility as gifts handed to him out of God's grace through the mediators of the spiritual and also of the animistic kind, so as then to fit it into his own life, where in the influx of the powers of the Light it would bring him a lasting prospect of unfolding and of progress forward

Here on Earth it is precisely the animistic that will then be for men a teaching and strengthening helper in the new age

Much in this has been neglected and passed over by men, and therefore the working of mankind stands today above all in opposition to all the work of the animistic servants

That is the accusing result at which earthly mankind has arrived through its turning aside from the original way of development here in gross matter

Men, without becoming aware of it, stand against the work of the animistic working, while it is precisely only from the animistic servants of Valhalla that the ways to the mastering of matter can be shown to man in a manner such as has never hitherto been discovered

Under the leading of the animistic servants, matter with all its mystery will open to the man filled with humility like the bud of a flower upon which the true ray of the Light needed only to shine

First however it will be needful that the knowledge of man hitherto be seen as a nothingness in its benefit for the real life of men, which unfolds in accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation

Everything that has issued as the knowledge of the intellect from human inquiry and scientific investigation has shown itself sooner or later as a ruin calling forth chain manifestations of evil

However much at the beginning of many human endeavours and scientific discoveries there stood the striving to help and to further the development of mankind on Earth, it has always shown itself that what at the beginning appeared as a benefit is in its consequence in reality the cause of harm

All is a sign that for millennia already mankind, in the arrogance of the intellect, goes upon its way of development here on Earth only in false ways, the consequence of which is the severance that has come about from the other parts of the work of Creation

There is no greater contradiction than when today there is talk of the highest progress of human knowledge, while we may say that never was mankind so far from the true knowledge of the meaning of its being

Therefore, before the building up upon new foundations can come, all the existing falsity must first collapse

And false today is in reality quite everything for which men strive in their aims and designs upon this small planet

We may say that in everything which men have brought into their world, save for the basic or otherwise also most primitive following of the elements, there is falsity, and it has always led only ever further from the right and healthy direction of development

Instead of a true life blessed by the Light we find here only a supposed prosperity, which however has been built up mercilessly by men at the cost of the great harmony of the work of Creation, and above all at the cost of the whole working of those animistic servants who, in their service to Valhalla, are in some manner more closely bound to this place of gross matter

Everywhere where man today works towards nature, it is possible, in regard to its health and to his own, to designate him a pest

That he is a pest we can clearly see today at every step of his working

Wherever he enters with the endeavour to assert his narrowed notions of life, everywhere he at once brings disturbances into the harmony, and immediately thereafter privation, pain and suffering to all the truly healthy world

But because none of men admits that the state of present-day mankind is really so desperate, and above all so harmful, therefore, from the standpoint of the animistic working, the greatest part of that which has issued from the hands of earthly men will have to be struck, so that it may be made harmless

To make harmless, from the view of Valhalla, means at this moment only one thing – an all-embracing shaking of this falsely proceeding development

To this end the animistic is already at work in many places at once, so that it may soon be shown that much of that of which mankind is still now proud will cease to serve as it has served hitherto

In a short time mankind will find itself thrown back in its ascent of development

It will even be lower than it was millennia ago

Because all the blessing which could take part in helping the human spirit millennia ago will today no longer be given into the hands of mankind

The tower of Babel built upon wrong foundations, whose essence is of a purely material kind, will collapse

At the same time however, with those men who are inwardly still open, a knowledge of a new kind will be permitted to come in proportion to their inward humility

As a naturally working happening there will thus suddenly become part of the new liberated human approach to matter also the awakening of a greater receptivity for the radiation of things, of objects and of living creatures, including human radiation

The acceptance of this radiation as an inseparable part of all creating and of the approach to life will in time come as something wholly natural, although even today it appears as something ungraspable for the intellectually crippled perceiving of the majority of men

However much this is still today held to be unscientific, in no long time the smallest children will already be learning this perceiving as a natural equipment for life

It may be said that in reality it will indeed be more natural precisely to the smallest children than to those people who today are already grown up and have not this faculty of perceiving developed, although they have the foundation for it in the equipment of their inner brain

Only with them it remains a wholly stunted organ which has been weakened at the cost of the thinking part of the frontal brain

Through inward movement in the intuitive perception, however, with many people this part of the brain also will be strengthened, which has hitherto remained neglected and whose faculty only here and there was someone of men permitted to become aware of

Receptivity for harmony we may thus call that basic change which will come about precisely through the strengthening of this part found in the inner brain

This will also be the equipment for a wholly new walking of man through life on this Earth

It will open for him the connection not only with the animistic world, but thereby also the way will be trodden to the connection with the ethereal worlds of the materialities, where the souls of those may dwell who have departed into the more luminous planes and in them, filled with joy, have found a stronger connection with the Light, which inclines down to them from the Primordial Creation, from the places of the real spiritual home of mature human spirits

And this more lasting and also more conscious maintaining of the connection with the souls in the ethereal worlds will bring, among other things, possibilities of inspirations in pictures which, precisely through those parts in the brain, will be able to reach more fully this gross material world of men

Thereby peace will be founded in all the fields of human doings, for in a short time it will be comprehensible to all men who will be permitted to dwell on this Earth what a glorious meaning human life here in the earthly body in reality has

And all this will mutually strengthen itself so that for many decisions of men that radiation of harmony will be an inseparable part, as the strongest determinant in every matter

It will also be a part of all creating in the material world, in the case of the crafts and of the arts as well, for precisely the faculty of dexterity and of skill in creating will be strengthened by the receptivity for radiation and will open a prospect such as has never yet been here

Intuitive sensing through this receptivity will become a part of the matters which today are the object of scientific investigations, calculations and complicated researches

This intuitive sensing will become a natural equipment for the trust of one man towards another

It will also become a part of the ordering of all the rules of society

The mistrust prevailing today towards these faculties of a higher receptivity will gradually be wholly dissolved, because a great number of proofs of a material kind will gradually teach mankind to accept it as a justified and fully valid faculty for the determining of the building up in many directions

Also in that time and through these unfolded faculties bound up with the awakening of spiritual intuitive perceiving, the animistic will draw near to mankind again, so as to return once more into its role of wise helper and teacher to the men who will wish to penetrate into the mysteries of matter, of healing, of healthy nourishment, of the growing of plants, and also of work with all the elements, in which there lies hidden the as yet unrecognised wealth of a true penetration into the mysteries of the energies and forces out of which there may grow for mankind inexhaustible sources which at the same time swing in full accord with the harmony of the work of Creation

The foundation for everything will be only that simplest return of the human spirit to living work in the inner being, instead of the all-overtopping analysing in thought and assembling of findings from matter of today

Only there, together with humility, will the meaning of the term earthman come alive again as the designation of a creature who at last swings in his task, which he wilfully abandoned under the enticement of the fallen archangel and also out of his own love of ease in the exertion of independent intuitive perceiving

These two greatest obstacles to a blessed earthly life will then cease to be disturbing to the fully valid unfolding of man

But they are at the same time also those two conditions, standing before every single man, which he now needs to fulfil in order to be able to advance forward

The first condition is humility welling up out of pure childlikeness, which man needs to find again within his inner being for the preservation of his life

The second condition is then the freeing of oneself from the most pernicious consequence of the influence of Lucifer's temptation, namely the regaining of the dominion of one's spirit over the intellect through one's newly enlivened life of intuitive perception

These two conditions stand today before earthman like a wall which separates him from progress in the knowledge of the Truth about the great work of Creation and about the Creator

The wall remains as the divide between man and the new knowledge

It demands a courageous step of man in the fulfilling of both conditions

Either he accepts them and subordinates himself to them wholly in his life, or the treasury of true knowledge of the work of Creation will never open for him in his present life

Where the intellect stands in strong dominion over the spirit, there blessing from the Light will never come to man in the form of a freeing from the ponderousness of a material perceiving of the world

He will remain in the circle of his erring and will never reach the promised land, which is yet already to be found not far from him

Through the inner being of man there needs to pass a fervent, longing-filled call for the Light, which like a flaming wave of the living swinging of the spirit shakes everything old and rigid that has hitherto hindered the new prospect

If the spirit is set free, then his power multiplies and at once brings the faculties for an independent ascent to the Light

Independent, because only thus can the spirit go surely without the outward supports of human opinions, which always threatened him with collapse

And there, where there is a lastingly growing certainty in the ascent to the Light, there helps from the Light in the form of new prospects and knowledge of life can at once draw near to man

In its inexhaustibility it surrounds the spirit, it permeates his inner being, and like a strengthening song it adds ever new verses to the enraptured extolling of the Creator

Around the spirit it circles and roars like the mighty flow of a waterfall, out of which at every moment there rises, enlivened by the sun, the rainbow of new knowledge of the world, of life, of Creation and of the Creator Himself

In the enabling of the spirit, which with each one is an unmistakably personal endowment in his innermost spark, knowledge can be grasped and transformed into a blessing for other men and for the whole world through the discovery of a new kind of thinking, through the creating of a gross material work, or also through the delicate weaving of rays of pure strengthening for others

As many human spirits as there are in the whole work of Creation, so many are the forms of receiving the neutral power of God and of transforming it into the threads that form a happy world on all the planes of being

And in this experiencing of fulfilling happiness and of the creative deed born out of happiness, in this cycle of giving and taking among all the creatures of God, man will then forget his pride of earlier times, when out of a tiny knowledge there was on Earth the endeavour, in the conceit of the intellect, to make the impression of something great

When he then remembers, he will be ashamed of how he sought, in contest and rivalry with others, to inflate his former nothingness of knowledge always beyond what it was

When the human spirit on this Earth no longer wishes, through the intellect, to lay claim to the ownership of his knowledge, only then will the endlessly streaming knowledge be able to flow through him, which will always only gladden him and fill him with enthusiasm for his further working in life

But as soon as he wished to make something of it his own property, as is the habit of the intellect, he would at once lose everything that streamed through him in order to gladden

He will recognise that the most glorious state of his spirit is in the moment when he is a weaver who is permitted to form that which flows to him into further streams, and thus to shape the fabric of knowledge for others without a single stirring of supposed merit of his own in it

He will recognise that in order to be able to receive ever more he must lastingly give, without wishing to make of it for himself a ground for fame and for meritorious praise from others

Thereby he would at once fall back into the state of the lamentable past, which however will no longer have a place on this planet soon to be newly raised upward to the Light

O man, learn to receive all knowledge only so that you may joyfully pass it on again

This approach will open to you the hitherto closed streams of inspirations and helps, of which the work of Creation, thanks to the lasting influx of living power from God, contains so many that never will you yourself nor the other inhabitants of Creation be left without further matter for the recognising of new prospects

Never for the human spirit, nor for any creature and inhabitant of the work of Creation, will the influx of further new knowledge be exhausted

This because God surpasses everything in this Creation and in many further Creations called into life out of His Will

Thus rightly come to know your God and Maker, so that in an enlivened humility of the inner being and in a childlike pure faculty of receiving all that is new there may come to you knowledge which sates every spirit a thousandfold more sweetly than the most refreshing earthly food

And to this task woman is called in the first place

She is to receive the high streams of the Light from the heights of the work of Creation

Through her it is to come to the Earth as the blessing of the sacred fulfilling of her great task

That is that part of the true knowledge of the meaning of the being of the human spirit which has not yet been fully comprehended on Earth and brought into the deed

The constitution of earthly woman makes of her a glorious receiving anchorage of the Light upon this Earth

It is a great mission which, because of all the side issues, has hitherto not been fulfilled by earthly womanhood

Woman is therefore to be the bearer of a reborn enthusiasm for the pure recognising of true spiritual life on Earth

At this present Easter season this longing is to join with the influx of the power of the Ray of Parzival to the Earth in one single moment of the great rebirth of every inwardly pure woman

It is to be a great awakening of a new knowledge of her spiritual mission on Earth

Those people who are rightly inwardly prepared for it will be permitted to live it through strongly and clearly as their great moment of rebirth

And in this time it is to be an entire turning of the spiritual stepping onto a new way

Whoever therefore opens himself rightly will receive at this year's Easter season that promised resurrection of his spirit

May it come to pass for as great a number of men on Earth as possible

May there be at last More Light upon this Earth
