The New Easter Resurrection

Upon the earth there is now to dawn a new Easter resurrection for all men who hearken to the voice of Parzival

Parzival now speaks to mankind through the experiencing which is coming

Dwelling in the primordially eternal radiance which with its blinding lustre pours over even into the ethereal clouds themselves, the Son of Man calls from the Castle of the Grail to the earth, that those who have not yet grown wholly faint within may recognise this time, wherein with the Mercy of God the opportunity of a rebirth in the spirit dawns for every man who opens himself with his inner being

This rebirth means the liberation of the spirit through the laying aside of all that is wrong which still clings to his raiment

With one strong volition man is to lay aside for ever all that has made him and still makes him unfree, so that he cannot walk the path of pure humanity

This very unfreedom of man lies in the forgetting of why he is in truth in this world

And just as the unfreedom lies in forgetting, so it is only the renewed remembrance by the spirit of the primordially eternal Divine Light, which through the Grail let the work of Creation arise, that can bring the awakening and the resurrection

Whoever remembers and does everything to open his inner being to the receiving of the Ray of Parzival, the ray coming from the Grail, will be strengthened, and there will come to him a refreshing satisfying, so that his spirit may in the new step forth upon the path which will lead him to a joyful existence in the spiritual experiencing of life

Men are strikingly led to occupy themselves at these present Easter days with that for which until now no time was left to them

They are to occupy themselves with it as with the most important thing that has significance for them in life

They need to receive it as the most burning thing which drives them forward, that it may be rightly answered

Thus this present Easter Monday is to bring unrest into the inner being of many a spiritually sleeping man

An unrest, however, which is a helping one, for only thus is it possible to break asunder the covering of ever-repeated thoughts which direct all the inner strength solely towards the material world

Like a curse it lies upon the thought-attitude of the greater part of men

Like a curse from which they cannot free themselves and which presses them again and again into the sleep of forgetfulness

And therefore the Light now brings unrest, so that earthly man may seek that knowledge forgotten by him which he bears within the spark of his spiritual inner being

It is a lifebelt which this time is cast for the last time to the drowning

If men reject it, they can expect no further help

They will be cast into an experiencing wherein a new opportunity for awakening will then come to them solely through the complete humbling of their hitherto existing certainties, in the shattering of their supposed earthly greatness and of the intellectual skill to master all things

Likewise all the hitherto existing unwillingness, superficiality and conceit towards the calls from the Light will be struck down into the dust, where, in the complete loss of all hope in their own cleverness, upon the very border of the complete loss of dignity, the inner being of some men will then still open itself, crying out for the answer to the question why all this is happening

But for many it will then already be too late, for the strength will no longer be theirs to perceive it intuitively in sufficient measure and to receive it aright

In that hour the whirl of happening about such a man will be turning with too great a swiftness for his inner being to have time to bring the flame to clarity in rebirth

It is rather to be expected that the force of the turning whirl will extinguish the feeble flicker

And precisely for this reason there is now a calling from the heights of Creation to this small earth

There is a calling, and like a mighty sound it shakes all things

All trembles in the expectation of that which comes, wherein change and hope are contained

Only the inner being of the greatest part of men remains closed, although the great wheel of the world happening strikes the twelfth hour

Whoever will not now ask after the meaning of his existence in the pure and humble opening of his inner being will not make use of the time of these present Easter days

Him also will the opportunity of the awakening of his spirit pass by, and the promise of the resurrection will have to remain denied to him

Therefore let this time be used with the highest exertion of the strength of our inner being

The remembrance of the pure, joyful radiation of the spirit is in this time most greatly needful

Only in such an attunement can the inflow of the forces so greatly needed for the rebirth be expected, as the Son of God Jesus spoke of it to His disciples

The Easter time now brings an inflow of forces for the awakening of the spirit and for the stepping forth upon the path of a pure, conscious perceiving of the world around

To him who is able to awaken with his inner being there will be added, in the resurrection of his spiritual path, gifts from the Light

Blessing will come to him who opens his hearing and his sight towards the flood of Light which lies above the earth in the presence of the Ray of Parzival

A great bestowal is bound up with these Easter days, for they bring a strengthening of the Light in the world of earthly men

How each one deals with this inflow of Light rests with him alone

To some it will be able to be a strengthening towards remembrance, towards resurrection, to others it will be able to give nothing, for the Light will glide off the stubborn blindness and deafness of their spirit

Thus only they who are open in their inner being can gain much, indeed they can gain everything

They can gain a great strengthening which in the times to follow will show itself as important for the walking through all experiencing

Whoever prepares himself with his inner being will be able to experience the nearness of the Light as the disciples of Jesus were permitted to experience the nearness of their Lord and Master

Every one who longs for the nearness of the Light, prepare thyself therefore and strive to hearken with thy spirit to the call of the Lord

The echoing away of this call will be the ensuing earthly sound of the thundering hammer of Thonorun in many places upon the earth, which is to remind earthly men how insignificant they are

May the greatest possible number of men awaken beneath this call

May they make use of this Easter time so full of grace
