The New Birth of Samael

Only few people have any awareness of how immensely important the true knowledge of what comes to pass in the work of Creation is for the development of events on earth

Knowledge of things is in this respect an undreamed-of great help which has the power to overcome all that, through the inertia of thinking, is still temporarily bound up with men on earth so as to hold them back in the new striving which through inspirations will bring them to the seeking of luminous ways

When it becomes recognised among men that the might of Lucifer's principle of temptation is broken and that Satan's hordes deep in the ethereal planes are wholly scattered, then there will at once come among men on earth more courage for the seeking of the Truth and also more joyful enthusiasm in the striving to carry it over into their own life

Many people will at last be able to lay aside that subconscious oppression arising from the abiding supposition that they are only a small, helpless instrument in the unknown hands of a dark power

In the thousands of years of the duration of the influence of Lucifer and Satan there was engraved into the subconscious of human thinking the conviction that here in the materialities they are continually delivered up to evil influences which lead them away from their paths to the Light

It lies deep in their reflections and works there continually, whenever men begin to reflect upon all the events of the world

There still persists the deeply ingrained conception that there are here two almost equally working forces, namely good and evil, turning against each other like great millstones, between which weak man is cast from the first moments of his birth on earth

That, however, is a wrong understanding

For that very reason there is now to be given to this world of men, as an inseparable part of the great enlightenment, the clarification that such a thing is here no longer

The time of the darkness on earth is becoming the past

The working of the principle of temptation, as it was for a long time exercised on the part of evil through whispering and influencing out of the invisible world, recedes further with every day

Everything has already been changed by the grace-filled Power of God, moved further in its development, and thus there has now opened for every man a great opportunity for a new recognition and understanding of the work of Creation

It rests solely and only with the human spirit himself how he longs to recognise the meaning of his life and to give to all his doings the enthusiasm for all-embracing good, so that he may be surrounded by helps and experience happiness and joy

Therein lies the great liberating power of that enlightenment which is now being brought down from the heights as a strengthening and also as a way out of the spiritual distress still enduring among men on earth

The way out brings reinforcement and courage for all those who still waver within themselves, because until now they felt themselves under the pressure of intellectually coarse people who, with the support of Lucifer's false principle, gained mastery over all happening

Now everyone can walk freely for himself, making use of the beneficent ordering of the conditions of life from the Light

The use of this way out, however, lies solely in the inner attitude of the many people who no longer wish to be bound in their spiritual upward flight and who strive towards it with the ardent industry of their spirit

Therefore knowledge is granted of all the important happenings which had not been given before as supplementary pictures for the support of the human spirit

They were not given because the anchorage of the Ray of Parzival and also the radiation of Imanuel had to loose themselves from this earth, since the development of social happening at that time still went too much against the liberating glow of the Light among men

Ripeness was lacking, although inner enthusiasm was perhaps already here

But it was an enthusiasm made ready in men only for revolutions and for battles over victories of opinion, instead of for real inner progress in the spiritual dimension of man's existence

Such a thing, however, could bring no advance, but was solely and only a turning in a vicious circle

Everything was flung outwards by men into the material world, yet it lacked inner depth and also anchorage in the Light

Therefore for a certain time the Ray of Parzival withdrew from this earth to a greater height, so as to await, within the luminous ramparts of the Castle of the Guardian above the ethereal spheres of the Subsequent Creation, the needful progress which in patience was guided by the Wisdom of God the Father itself

The progress lay in this, that human spirits could be newly born on earth who already brought with them the gift of knowledge of the continuing happening and development, and who were therefore prepared to occupy themselves strongly in their earthly life with the seeking of the ways which are to lead to the present stage of the great enlightenment

The spirits not only needed to join themselves with an earthly body, but also needed to gain a certain ripeness for the understanding of the happenings, although they too were drawn immediately after their incarnation into the still working effects of hereditary sin, that is, they were drawn into the deep ruts worn by the hitherto intellectual setting of the thinking of most of mankind

In order to be able to free themselves from the tendrils of the old thinking and acting bound up with the many errors of mankind, they needed a certain time of ripening

And after this time of ripening, which in the course of development was needful also for the setting of the new drawing of the threads required for the further development on all planes of the materialities, the Ray of Parzival has now drawn near again to the gross material universe of the part called Ephesus, in order to complete here all that was long ago promised

Parzival works in the Ray, for He Himself is this Ray, which goes forth from His Will high in the primordially created castle of the Grail

And because much was not completed, this Ray mediates, through individual people prepared for it, that which is still needful for the time of enlightenment, so that the work of the liberation of human spirits and of the strengthening towards their further development may be completed

As in everything else, so also for this joining the decisive condition is inner and mental ripeness, so that everything may come uninfluenced with objective purity and thereby become the bridging power needed for the working of the animistic forces, which can then complete all the steps in it all

The knowledge of what is now really coming to pass is therefore one of the important parts of the whole advancing working of the Light

The knowledge is therefore also a certain proof of the living connection with the Ray of Parzival in every single man who professes the Truth

This should be heeded among men with great attention, because this living knowledge can be replaced by nothing

Everything else must in the end remain behind over against living knowledge, for it will gradually prove itself barren and thereby unable to stand firm

It is therefore good to heed also that whenever the Truth is quoted, that is, whenever the Word out of the Grail Message is used by readers, and also the Word out of the other addresses from the time when the Ray of Parzival dwelt directly in a body on earth, it should always be in accord with that Will which lives in the Word as something laid into it by the Wisdom of God, and not that the core be torn out and only the outward sound of the words be used for pictures into which men insert something merely out of their own conceptions and their own volition

Not even good will in helping people suffices as a defence for the great All-Wisdom of the Word of Truth to be pressed, for the purpose of giving counsel to others, into chiding precepts and warnings

All this will in the end show itself as a working which lacks the wisdom of the ripe spirit

It will turn against the original, perhaps even well-meant endeavour of such people, for together with spiritual livingness such a thing lacks naturalness and thereby also of necessity the help from the Light

In the end it will take on the taint of churchliness or of sectarianism, which always of necessity repels precisely all those people still living in their inner being who seek answers to the questions they carry within themselves

The Word of Truth bears within it the magnetic power of an attracting recognition, which always has the strength of a helping upbuilding

The Word of Truth needs to be recast, through the work of an enthusiastic spirit, into a living, magnetic passing on of enlightenment to other people

All warnings and all indications of the dangers lying in the previous erring of men will be found by inwardly living people in the Word of Truth themselves, and they will also in the end need to deal with them again only themselves

No one else can make the change for them but they themselves alone

But the strength for the change is supplied to the human spirit by the very prospect of the glorious knowledge of the work of Creation and of the Creator Himself, at that moment when this knowledge is freed from all the previous deposits distorted by men

That is the high art which men have yet to make their own in the purest work upon themselves, so that nothing of the beneficently working forces may be weakened by the endeavour to use the outward form of the words and their sound only for their own wishes and conceptions of how things ought to develop

Hitherto such conduct of men always had of necessity to show itself in the end, in the visible manifestations of the weavers of fate, as a weakening for the upbuilding in which the great knowledge of the Truth is to be used among men on earth

It could then always lead to this, that most of the endeavours made possible outward attacks by intellectual people, or, what is far worse, led to inward schisms among the people working around the Word

The right receiving of the Word of Truth is to lead the human spirit to a ripeness in which the Will of God, which the spirit follows, is mirrored ever more visibly

That, however, does not lead to misunderstanding and to schisms, as has hitherto been the case, but should always lead to unity and to joyful upbuilding

Where obstacles arise among men, misunderstandings, condemnations or even slanders in the endeavour to shake trust in one's fellow-men, there dwell immaturity and weakness of spirit, no matter whether that working against one's fellow-men is done with the greatest intellectual skill, when quotations out of the Word of the Grail Message are used as weapons

Such a thing will not stand, for for the Laws of God contained in it there always holds an easily recognisable foundation lying in the motives with which men do such a thing

And nothing in it is changed even by the fact that such people then deceive themselves in that they form in their thoughts an excuse for their conduct with the words that it is precisely a stern love or the sharpness of purity with which they for their part wish thus faithfully and unshakably to serve the Light

But that it is self-deception from the very beginning, the conscience in their inner being cries out at every moment when they do harm to their fellow-men in their honour and their worth and thereby offend against the great Harmony which is all-pervading throughout the whole work of Creation

Whatever works against this Harmony stands of necessity in opposition to the Will of God

That is something so simple that if men were guided by it they would easily recognise in how many places it rests with them to change their own attitude towards their fellow-men, if they strive for the upbuilding of a common life of men on earth in accord with the Will of God

All that stands against the Harmony among people striving towards the Light is always a mark of immaturity or of the conscious volition of something evil

And this too will now, in the accelerated events, be more easily recognised, and it will rest with man himself alone to free himself from all that is old and wrong

In this respect much work awaits mankind

It is much work because in it most of mankind stumbles along in arrears compared with where the earth could already have been

Above all it should already be a thing of the past for all those who themselves long to have a share in the mediating of true help to this world

But everything is also already moving towards a great change in this matter, because around those who are now incarnated in the earthly coverings of materiality there are immensely many helps which will strengthen them and direct them towards liberation from the threads of the past

The acceleration of the happening advances in this in like manner as the rays of Apollo's sun drive all life on earth to growth and ripening in the world of nature

And this accelerating happening will at last bring the said enlightenment forth into a visible place, in which men will of course find all the answers to their questions

Enlightenment as such is always naturally connected with the fact that everything is illumined

Such a thing can be done only with the help of the Truth, which brings the Light into all knowledge

That is precisely the result towards which the present ferment moves, which calls forth in many people the impression that everything is collapsing and that the old good human values are rushing with unprecedented speed towards their end

In the enlightenment, however, only that will perish which cannot stand firm in the Truth

Therefore there is no need to fear when even those things are now shaken which contain within themselves parts of precious values of a pure kind

These values will not be lost, but on the contrary will in the end be preserved under the protection of the Truth of God

In the near future they will also be glorified anew by the Light before the whole of mankind

It calls only for patience and for calm working at all those tasks which the Light at this time demands of the awakened human spirit

Together with deep inner peace it is precisely living knowledge of the widest possible scope of which the ripe human spirit is capable

And this scope is truly a great one

It is far greater than we, as people still limited today by the intellect, are able to picture to ourselves

In this greatness of knowledge lies the true freedom of the human spirit

The freedom of the spirit brings the capacity for fully independent deciding and also the strength for acting in all the moments of life, independently of the hitherto leaders and determiners of what is and what is not right

Although there will be in it no need of all-determining leaders, there will prevail among men a peaceful accord, for the will of inwardly ripe spirits will be set upon seeking answers always only under the conditions of accord with the others

That is something men need to learn, for it will soon be urgently demanded of them by the Light

And again, all that is contained in this demand upon the human spirit, few as yet divine today

But already it is changing, and in the end it will come as a victorious recognition for everyone

In the time to come on earth there will be no need of leaders such as men have hitherto known them

Leaders and the most manifold determiners, with their insatiable wishes to lead others and to force upon them their own conceptions of the ordering of the world, will cease to have a place here, for they will be replaced by true spiritual teachers

Spiritual teachers are such human spirits as bear within themselves wisdom and knowledge, and this knowledge which they receive they themselves then pass on patiently and kindly to all who are open to a greater recognition of the work of Creation and of the Creator

Everything else, thus also the pressure towards movement as a condition for development in learning, will be provided by the animistic servants, who have already now received authority for it from Parzival through the radiation of His Ray

The knowledge of the work of Creation, and together with it the ardent placing of oneself into the Grace of the All-Wisdom of God, will become the most precious value of all the treasures on this earth

Knowledge will also become a real might, for in accord with the Truth there will always be with every man still working on earth an unprecedented power

This might, however, will not be exercised as the enforcing of the will of the individual, but only as the natural expression of the preponderance of those who vibrate in accord with the great Harmony of the work of Creation, that is, in accord with the Will of God

It is something which will only gradually become part of the new ordering of the human world

And to those who already now endeavour to draw near with humility in their hearts to the knowledge of the work of Creation there is to be given an ever more comprehensive prospect of all the great and the small happenings in the work of Creation

Thus too a continuing prospect is to be given, in which is contained the illumining of what followed after the fall of Samael, at the moment when he was struck by the Spear of Light of Parzival

By this blow the spirit of Samael lost all consciousness of himself which until then, in his existence, had been granted him

There was speech of the complete scattering of his consciousness

This consciousness was truly erased from the Book of Life, which belongs to the keeping of Parzival as the Administrator and Judge of all life in Creation sent by God

The perfection of the entire Harmony of the work of Creation, however, made it possible a very short while afterwards for a spiritually newly conscious servant to arise in the heights of the Light, who received the cleansed place of his predecessor together with his name and his original task in Creation

Even the very essence of the spiritual flame remained the same as with the former bearer of the same name and task

The newly born Samael, however, has nothing in common with anything of the former consciousness of the original bearer of the same name

In his essence he is an unwritten page, if indeed such a thing can be said of a created spirit

His task began to be fulfilled at the moment of the ending of the working of that Samael who, of his own will, as the Satan influenced by Lucifer, plunged into the depths

In the grace of God he arose as the inseparable completion of the place which had formed itself in Creation

In Creation no place can ever be left empty if it has once been called to life by the All-Wisdom of the creative Will of God

The Will of God never errs

Let man imprint that upon his inner being for ever

The perfection contained in it excludes such a thing

The Creator grants to all life only the preconditions and also shows the ways, so that everything may at last come to that place where it is to stand, however much the ways to it are, in the case of the spiritual kind, the work of its own free deciding

Whatever has once arisen as created out of the radiation of the Holy God will always be a part of the entirety in which it was of necessity contained from the beginning

This promise concerns the names and the tasks of all the servants in the work of Creation who once came into being, for they cannot be faulty in their essence, since they arose out of the Will of God

Only the consciousness of the bearer of the name can be at fault

The consciousness in the working of him who was created for his working within the whole of the work of Creation

And for that reason too this consciousness can be erased, so that in the vibrations of the original a new consciousness may then arise, driven to it self-actingly by the law of the entire Harmony, if the requirement of the Harmony had before that compelled the erasure

The newly born consciousness then has nothing in common with the past of the bearer of the same name and of the kind of his task

Nevertheless, in the origin of the radiation it is the same servant, freed from the former self-consciousness, if this self-consciousness had once already been attained

And in the case of a created spirit this is always so

It is otherwise, however, with developed human spirits who, if they go along wrong paths of development, compel the loss of their consciousness, and whose essence in its unfinished state makes possible the complete dissolving of all their previous abilities and qualities

The name, however, continues to sound in Creation and works as a magnet for the new condensing of spiritual nebulae, until there comes the flashing forth of a new spiritual spark longing for its own consciousness, if this spark is the most nearly suited to the name vibrating in Creation

In the work of Creation nothing is lost

Under the working of the perfect cycle of the forces new ways are always found for the attaining of the original Will of God the Father

Thus the spiritually created bearer of the name Samael, newly born to consciousness, has his task, in which it is given him to work in the originally glorious kind of helpful support of developing human spirits

Filled with bliss, the new Samael immersed himself in this task of his and became the one he was meant to be

Of the former working of the Samael who failed he knows nothing in the inward experiencing of his pure self-consciousness

Should news then perhaps reach him of the past happening of the predecessor of his name, it will surely be in this newly born servant a strong spur to a yet more ardent fulfilling of the task which is granted him by the Grace of God

The knowledge of all the happenings in Creation can always only lead every inhabitant of the Work of God to a new extolling of the Wisdom of the Creator, in whose all-embracing scope the ways are to be found for everything that once arises to consciousness

Thus too there are of course known from the very beginning, in the Perfection of God, the threads for the further way of the fallen archangel Lucifer, whose failure appears to all created things as the unprecedented fall of one of the very strongest servants of God

The Holiness of God knows all the vibrations in the mantle of radiation of the Divinely animistic kind

Above all things there resounds in perfect Harmony and Justice the sound of the Words: "Mine is the retribution, Mine is the recompense"

Thus the highest Justice of God will be satisfied also in this one part of Creation

Everything has its ways, along which those threads of the greatest world happenings also proceed

Therefore it will one day be possible for ripe human spirits to gain a prospect also of all the connections of the further development bound up with the fallen archangel

The result of that prospect will then be able to be only a new extolling of the Holy Wisdom of God and of Love by all creatures in the work of Creation
