THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – October 11, 2021

For his wandering through the material planes the human spirit has prepared for him out of the Light only the path of joyful creating

He has no need of heavy and painful experiences if his will is directed in simple volition upwards, towards the Light

If he follows the voice of his inner being and walks upon the steps sent down to him for help out of the Light, then everything opens before him in the greatest naturalness, like the individual chapters of his integral being

On the path which, from the beginning of the awakening of his spiritual consciousness, is to lead towards the recognition of the work of Creation, of the Laws working in Creation and through them then towards the recognition of the Creator Himself, it is man himself who decides whither his steps will lead

And from the beginning of his path a multitude of helps is always being offered him by the Light the whole time, that he may not lose himself in the density of the worlds of the Subsequent Creation

He has around him many occasions for becoming aware of the effects of the Laws of Creation

It always holds for him that in the small there is at the same time mirrored the greatest

Even in the smallest he can find the most glorious pictures for the ripening of the spirit

Precisely in the recognising of the greatness of the Creator and of His wise Laws there lies the moment of awakening to the great comprehension of the Justice of God and of the Love of God, of these greatest helps upon the path of the spirit, which are always near to everyone who longs for them

With this moment of awakening the spiritual spark hastens towards an ever stronger clarifying to itself of its longing for the nearness of the Light in the spiritual home

In such moments of a longing-filled striving towards the Light the path then appears to the spirit as simple and clear, without bends and side turnings

And simple and clear it also always is under all circumstances

Despite the multitude of side directions which line this path like blind alleys created by the fallibility of immature souls, the direct path to the Light remains permanently open for the human spirit, for it has been here from the very beginning as a ladder afforded by the Light which leads to the regions of the spiritual home – Paradise

The path to the Light, that is to God, is the most natural striving, leading man through his life directly to a firm connection with all the helping currents which incline continually towards him like luminous threads

It should therefore be self-evident that the majority of men will walk along this path to the Light with the strength of their longing every day, and this ever more joyfully, with a mounting and all-carrying enthusiasm for all the moments of their being

It should be self-evident, if… if only this earthly world were not today so strongly influenced by the rank overgrowth of intellectual opinions which set themselves in the simple spiritual path as an obstacle, as a barrier grievously separating many men from the view upwards to the Light

And this barrier of an intellectual kind causes from time to time in the earthly world difficulties on the path even to those men who strive with the highest earnestness in the spiritual direction

By its clinging stealth and at the same time by the tenacious persistence with which it draws attention in another direction, the intellect causes in the spirit on earth a state of forgetting of the true path for the sake of which men come to the earth

In the ardour for the fulfilment of material wishes, in barren distraction or superficial amusement, just as in the flood of the duties of daily life, and in a thousand further forms besides, the intellect leads away the power of the spirit and thereby brings it into a state of forgetting

Hypnotised by the intellect and by its strenuous endeavour after material attention, the spirit then grows weak and loses its direction for so long that in the end, wearied, it sinks down and ceases to seek the path to the spiritual home

It is threatened with a state of paralysing sleep instead of a fresh striding forward

Thereby it cuts itself off ever more from the influx of refreshing energy of a spiritual kind out of the heights of Creation, and the path, originally clear and simple, becomes overgrown with the thorns of the unimportant interests of matter

This state threatens a great part of the earthly men of the present time

But into this state of hopelessness there now comes a loving awakening sent forth by the Wisdom of God for those who are still capable of awakening

A great shaking leading to a new awareness

Like a clear bell there rings the voice of the present time, calling all men to awaken out of the deepest sleep

The happening brings a new awareness for the spiritual inner being of men

All the working of the animistic servants who penetrate to the very boundary of the gross material world now rouses the spirit, that it may awaken and raise itself again upon the path which alone has cause to follow the call

Through the working of the hosts of servants the Grail shapes for the human spirit the path to the Light

This path of the Grail rings out above men and calls them to see clearly, that into the greyness of their days, whether they call them working days or feast days, there may always penetrate the Light of knowledge, which washes clean and makes passable the direction that leads the spirit to the true home in Paradise, which lies high above all the material regions of the Subsequent Creation

The path of the Grail makes a new becoming aware possible

It affords an ever more inward consciousness of the perfection and the glory of the work of Creation

The spirit which penetrates into the connections concerning life receives, together with each further recognition, at the same time also refreshment for new creative work here in matter

Himself endowed and strengthened, he longs to endow and to strengthen those who have grown weak under the weight of the intellectual ballast of thought which can never lead anywhere higher

In the giving of himself, through his own example of a wise striding through life, the mature spirit is to afford a support to other men in all the moments of the wandering over this earth

And this is indeed the best remedy for all sicknesses

The knowledge of this remedy leads to healing through a new awareness of the glory of mutual human cooperation, which makes it possible in every moment to recognise that in man there dwells the spark of the spirit, which shines and glows like a flame that maintains its connection with the oil of the kindliness and the greatness which flow down hither into the materialities out of the distant heights of the spirit, out of the blessed spiritual planes in Creation

The knowledge of how beneficial is the strengthening and the ripening of the spirit, when he himself shares and passes on through his life the received knowledge about Creation as something self-evidently simple and at the same time unshakably firm, that is the true path leading to the victory of a luminous humanity here on earth

The convincing of others about the Light and about God does not lie in instructing and in the preaching of truths, but above all in the taking up of patience, which alone may find the kindly way to the inner being of one's fellow men

On this earth a more and a less mature spiritual mankind wanders side by side, and always will

For this purpose the earth came into being and is to endure, that it may fulfil its exalted task as a spiritual school of human spirits becoming luminous

For this, however, the earth and mankind now need to be purified to that degree which alone will make it possible that the mentioned blessing of the mutual ripening of a more and a less mature mankind wandering side by side may draw near to that promise for the sake of which this planet was formed by animistic hands in its beginning

The hosts of animistic servants at the call of O-dio-nar formed the stars of the universe of this part of the materialities in such a way that Erda might thereafter be permitted to be sent forth to the beginning of her task

All this was fulfilled down to the smallest particle, whereby the animistic servants created a true wonder of a radiant crystal of life in the distant planes of the universe

Everything was brought to the perfection of the animistic kind, when the individual particles of the cycle of nature ground against one another for millions of years so that everything might be attuned to an integral harmony for the moment when the spiritual immersed itself for the first time into the covering of the matter of this earth

The development began to be counted from the moment of the first uncertain steps of the youthful souls, which with the help of the Created learned to live on this earth to the joy of the Creator

Many degrees of awareness needed to be attained before it could be spoken of mankind as spiritually prepared for the recognising of those highest degrees of knowledge about the work of Creation and about the Creator Himself

The first, the smaller part of the souls walked forward in vivacity, because it was drawn by the Light and absorbed into itself the refreshment flowing out of this knowledge

The second part, however, fell ever further behind, for it let itself be endowed too easily with the temporary gifts of the animistic on this earth, until in its longing for the material it almost came to a standstill in its development

Too many souls became stuck in the cycle of lives and, instead of freeing themselves from the threads of the past, bound themselves ever anew with each further incarnation still more firmly to the necessity of living out in return the threads of fate here on this earth

Yet it is not all souls that can be designated as lost, but in many of these souls there still burns a little spark of hope of a possible progress and development

It is only needful that these souls awaken in haste and enter upon a conscious striving to make up the foolishly squandered and almost already lost development

And for this supplementary ripening of the souls that have lagged behind, yet have not entirely fallen prey to the darkness, the life on this earth is now to be reborn from the foundations and to enter upon a clear direction of development, to which there belongs in the first place the consciousness that the most precious value is the spiritual ascent of the individual

What, however, is hidden behind the concept of spiritual ascent almost no one knows, although it is again a supremely simple knowledge

Spiritual progress does not take place in the loud proclaiming of the coming of the Judging Justice of God, which punishes the erring and rejects the weak

Anything so one-sided God never affords to those who are found to be in need of the help of the Light

God sends forth genuine helpers for the fulfilment of His promise of help, that it may be shown that in their earthly being men can find above all an example of the path to the Light

The actual help lies in the daily striving of those who are knowing, and whose attitude to life has become in its naturalness full of reverence and thereby worthy of following

It is therefore all far simpler than the conceptions of visionaries and fanatics dreaming of a turning over of the earth in an apocalyptic happening

Therefore much comes to pass otherwise than men expect

Yes, it holds of course that the animistic is fully prepared for its work of renewal, with which it is to help mankind to free itself from the thousands of threads of unhealthy straying which men have attained through a rank overgrowth of intellectuality and through a thirst for knowledge severed from harmony

The animistic servants are indeed made ready and are also already working in many places in order to return life again to a natural flowing in the archetypes of the Light which are made ready for the present development of the world part of Ephesus

It also holds that the human spirit in the earthly body has now before him a time of struggle for himself and for the possibility of his wandering through the period of the planet earth which is drawing near

But for this struggle he needs ever new strengthenings, that he himself may maintain himself continually in the most living vibration of his inward longing for the Light

Of these strengthenings there will come ever more, as gradually all those join in who came to this earth to fulfil a spiritual task of a helping kind

There are not few such exalted spirits who are in various places of the planet in order to work among the nations which are now to begin to awaken to the following of the direction of development determined by the Light

Great, and withal tended with care down to the smallest particles, is this work of enlightened spirits, who first need themselves to awaken and to find the new awareness in their life

The Grail, however, leads them out of the heights, through the hosts of spiritual helpers who work downwards out of the spiritual worlds, along a carefully tended way towards an awakening and a new awareness of the meaning of their being on this earth

Already all this stands at the very beginning of the great awakening

There are still here the last particles of the separating covering of spiritual consciousness, and there will come the time of the awakening of hosts beyond all surveying, who will be distinguished in the first place by their gentleness and by an inner strength of trust in the helps of the spiritual and the animistic servants hitherto unrecognised by men

Through this trust other men will come to recognise the true fulfilling of the Will of God on this earth, for through the connection of those spiritually awakened the natural linking between men and the other parts of the work of Creation will be permitted to enter ever more into the everyday life

And this fulfilling will differ entirely from all the hitherto existing teachings, philosophies and religions, for through all of it there will pass the Ray of Parzival and the Spirit of Christ in the most comprehensible effectiveness in all human doings

Everything that will stand in accord with that great Harmony will appear, in its gradual developmental steps forward, as continually blessed

But it is not easy to write about this now beforehand, when the greatest part of the readers, despite the best volition, still regards it through the hitherto existing forms of thought in which there dwells a distortion of all concepts, and through which there dwell today still in most views of the future doubt and mistrust, or on the contrary an excessive and unhealthy haste which in the end always inclines towards the forms of fanaticism

Simple receiving is the hardest thing which today we as men on earth will have to make our own and bring into our perceiving of life

This will, however, be possible only after the complete laying aside of the distorted intellectual perceiving of the world, in which everything material carries far greater weight than the spiritual

That is also the most important awareness, which is so very new for every man, and this including the greatest part of those men who have a good basic knowledge about the work of Creation and about the Creator

It is also a new awareness for all those who profess the work In the Light of Truth, for they too are in much still superficial

This is not, however, to be a reproach, but an ardent strengthening for the most living inward work in intuitive perception and in childlike joyfulness, with which everything that the present happening brings to man is to be approached

Only in such an attunement can everything be rightly experienced and overcome

Far behind will then remain all the glooms and fears of those awakening, for in the joyful connection of his spirit with the whole of the work of Creation such a man will pass through everything with the armour of a true experiencing of the beatitudes of Jesus in every single moment of the present

All this is that new awareness which now needs to awaken in full measure in every spirit that has come to this earth for the fulfilment of his task for the Light

And this new awareness needs now only to attain to a full and clear awakening

And this is also coming to pass in many places precisely at this time

Blessed be the moment when this new awareness of a sufficient number of awakened men becomes the determining current for all the worlds of thought

We are ever closer and closer to this victorious turning point

Over this earth there arches a bow of light bearing within itself a liberating, ringing chorus

This chorus rings out – The new awareness of mankind
