The Irreplaceable Preciousness of the Smallest

The vast distances of the immense worlds in Creation give most people the impression that only what is great is unmistakable and therefore bears within it the preponderance with the power needed for life

This is one of the earlier pieces of knowledge assimilated by people about Valhalla, or also about Olympus, or about places called by yet other names where the servants of the creating animistic forces dwell, according to how it became familiar in this or that place on earth

In the veneration of power, Valhalla, the gardens of Asgard and also all the servants who dwell in the place of the animistic starting point of the Subsequent Creation were always looked upon as models of the idea that everything which is truly capable of life, and thus upholds its claim to vitality, does so in the first place through its power and through the magnitude of the might for which that power is used by this or that servant

And indeed the animistic creates and works in great works and wholes in such a way that in many cases, with a single fulfilment of the nature of its activity, it reaches into whole parts of Creation or of universes

A person can behold this, for example, in a smaller working here on earth in happenings which are the result of events shaped by the activity of the elements

In the happenings of nature it is always possible to perceive the immense forces which lie in all the working of the elements

This too was inscribed in the consciousness of the ancient generations as a great knowledge, from which people drew for whole millennia, and therefore many a person of today also supposes that if anything is to assert itself visibly and prevail in human social happenings as well, if it is therefore to have success, it must be attended by great influence and by great events together with all the necessary outward manifestations, for which a visible display of great power is also required

According to this it holds that whatever does not become sufficiently visible and ruling in its greatness and power is even in the human world regarded as weak and inferior

Therefore mankind is accompanied to this day by so many struggles, so many wars, so much pain and karmic suffering arising from it

But to all this little heed is still paid, for among people there is generally to be found no real knowledge of the true spiritual way

The conception of greatness, strength and might remains here still without a trace of any greater progress forward

Force, might, influence and greatness – that has long been the driving developmental will of life on earth

Accordingly the human world hitherto still governs itself, because people perceive it as right

Today it is indeed more skilfully concealed by the intellect, but the motives and expectations in it are through and through the same as they were at any earlier time, namely that only the stronger has a claim to life

All this, however, is the result of an observation which builds only upon the superficial foundations of everything that is thus derived from the world of the animistic servants of Valhalla

People suppose that if the world is to be changed, then the majority must be won or even compelled for this or that idea

Therefore it is always expected that as many people as possible, in great numbers, must be convinced of some matter if anything is really to prevail on this earth

In this way it has been assimilated by people as something proven, which appears to be confirmed by historical experience

Many therefore build upon the number of people attuned in homogeneity their prospects and plans for changing the human world in this or that direction of its development

In reality, however, this way does not belong to the spiritual kind, because out of it there almost always swiftly arise dullness, cunning partisanship, social climbing, careerism, and in the outcome the endeavour to overlook the pain of others while pursuing one's own earthly success

If then the mentioned way of persuading the masses is at some time pushed through precisely by force, its later collapse shows that in human hands something of the kind is not at all in accord with God's ways of development on this earth

Thus indeed it has gone for whole millennia, which are perceived as millennia under the dominion of the darkness

The Light, however, needs to go among people along other ways

The change which is to bring a shift towards a better prospect for mankind is not primarily to go the way of great outward assertion, but needs to proceed from entirely different conditions

It needs on the contrary to proceed from a receptivity for the smallest

The real changes willed by the Will of God for a harmonious following of the development of the human race always lie first in the making one's own of the right weaving of the smallest thing that vibrates in a person's inner being, in his will to good and to pure dealings with other people

This foundation needs to become the possession of everything humanly spiritual, and only then can the outward conditions and the ordering of living and working together with other people gradually be arranged out of this initial striving

If in the development something of this is skipped over in the endeavour to hasten it, then in the end the whole edifice inevitably collapses

But people are unteachable in this and keep trying to push through their superficial view of what is right

For this they also take the world of nature as a proof that no regard can be paid to the finer, or also to the small things, if anything of greater significance is to be built up here in the earthly world

As has already been mentioned, however, this is a delusion arising from a wrong observation, or it is also at times even a deliberate endeavour to distort things

However much it may seem that the animistic in particular does not heed the right procedure of building up from the smallest, it is not so, because the foundation of all the working of the animistic servants proceeds from the all-embracing fulfilment of the Laws of Creation in everything, and thus precisely also in the smallest

The observation of people who maintain that the great outward conditions must first be changed and that the inner content will then be supplied is therefore wrong and goes against the Will of God, however well the motives for changes for the better may be meant

It is needful to intuitively perceive this within oneself as inwardly as possible and to compose it rightly into whole pictures, which only then can bear within them accord with God's thought of the development and ascent of life here in the Subsequent Creation, and thus necessarily also of life on this earth

Let us therefore allow the living happening in Creation to arise once more before our spiritual eye

Creation is a vast, entire universe which contains distances and spaces unimaginable to human thinking, in which this universe of the gross material kind would be lost like a particle of a small grain

For the building up of something such as the planes of materiality an immense inflow of forces is needed, which sink into one another, interpenetrate, unite and form themselves into the actual shape of this or that plane

The animistic servants working in it direct and master the mighty currents of rushing particles of light so that they may be rightly used

In proportion to human possibilities it is something immense that takes place in this

But for the animistic, just as for everything spiritual which is already permitted to dwell in the luminous planes, not even the smallest part is lost or forgotten in this greatness

This means that in everything, even in the smallest, there vibrates the same kind of careful heed of all the gradations of harmony as in the greatest

Everything is permeated by the fundamental vibration of the Divine radiation of Love, out of whose essence all that is created arose

And this Love of God is also precisely the foundation of all the building particles which fill from the ground up that smallest thing which we call the upbuilding radiation of the worlds

Thus for everyone who observes the world, beneath the perceiving of all that is great there should not at the same time sink into forgetfulness that humble intimation of the perfection of God, which through the radiation conceals itself at the same time even in the smallest particle of matter

The animistic, however much it may appear that it works all too often precisely in great works, never neglects even the smallest thing that is a part of its activity, since through the effects of the principles in which it vibrates it drives to manifestation the Will of God, which it serves

Therefore it always holds that even when, for example, whole parts of the land collapse in an earthquake, not even that one single smallest particle of life touched by this earthquake is overlooked at the same time

One tiny animistic vibration filled with life is carefully guided in it, so that it may pass through and serve the further development, which in such a happening is always the moving force

Thus even the smallest unconsciously animistic thing, belonging to the insects or to still smaller organisms, has in this its lawful place, however impossible this may appear precisely to people, because from their point of view it is something not to be encompassed

For the animistic, however, it is a natural part of every happening which unfolds from its hands in the weaving of the worlds

It is only people who try to generalise everything, and in this approach they would always gladly push aside a part of that inseparably present smallness

This they also do in their dealings

And when the consequences of their dealings return to them, they then grumble in astonishment at where it could have come from

All this, however, means that we, as spiritual inhabitants of the earthly world, have not yet attained that needed measure of receptivity for the whole, which alongside the great and visible always contains also the smallest and invisible

People suppose that their great dealings, which change the world and the history in it, excuse them for causing pain to everything smaller for the sake of these great deeds

They even have a popular saying for it: “Where a forest is felled, the chips must fly!”

In this many feel themselves strong, because they suppose that they are thereby in a certain connection with the animistic, which in their opinion does no otherwise in nature

In this, however, they greatly err and do not suspect that it can never be an excuse for their conduct, which in a certain brutality harms the smaller and the weaker

Creation was never so ordered by the Creator

In Parzival in the Grail lies the all-embracing power for everything that is to be found in Creation

And this all-embracing power shows itself as a consonance of harmony which contains everything within itself as a whole, which we can divide and split ever more finely until we come to the fundamental magnitude of the Spirit of God, that is, to the single radiated particle of the Love of God which from the beginning became the building part for Creation

The building part for the whole lies in the Radiation of the Love of God, which in its inflowing became a part of the place appointed, that is, allotted to it by the Wisdom of God

And all these building particles are, in the whole of Creation, for Parzival as the steward of His Work entrusted by God the Father, a consonance of harmony, or also of disharmony, should something at some time vibrate wrongly in its participation in the weaving of Life in Creation

Therefore it is a condition for all the servants who work in lasting consonance with the Will of God to heed even the smallest thing that vibrates as a part of Creation

In its fundamental radiation there is contained for ever the Love of God, which leads to the necessity of a right dealing with everything that arose out of this Love of the Creator

To what is contained in this message of the Love of God people here on earth have never yet ripened, so as to recognise and understand it

Therefore almost all their dealings today also go predominantly and necessarily against the Will of God, because they do not bear within them the awareness of the need for accord with the whole in every single vibration of their conduct

Although it was of this very thing that Jesus, the Son of God, sought most urgently to speak to His disciples and to all the others who listened to Him, apart from isolated exceptions people have to this day not perceived in it that urgency, that in all their dealings and activity they should always strive for a whole harmony with everything that is in their nearness and at the same time also with what may in the given moment be far distant

In this alone there vibrates for a person the nearness of the fullness of peace of God, which can then in all its manifestations accompany him on his ways

That is the true art of life of the human spirit, if from his innermost foundation he always seeks to strive for consonance with the great way of true development in Creation

And this way is, in the case of man, after all always only the doing of all noble good

Of a good, however, which is not shown only towards a particular matter or towards particular people or creatures, but of a good which from the ground up pursues the all-embracing nature of pure and virtuous dealings in absolutely everything

And therefore also in the smallest thing that takes place around a person

Everything great is first formed out of the small, out of the smallest that we can regard as a part of the great being of Creation

In the smallest lies the development for everything great and greatest

In Creation there always holds an invisible yet omnipresent law – the foundation is born at the beginning out of the smallest invisible volition, and such will also be the result

Why have people not recognised until now that it is precisely by this that all animistic activity governs itself with unswerving carefulness in strictness

In all the weaving of the animistic around earthly people this accord of all the degrees of creative activity is immersed in the great space of the harmony of life

It is a part of that genuineness and full value which we may find everywhere in the world of nature where human hands do not work

That very full value, soundness, strength and mighty will to further being is bound up with this foundation, which is drawn from that which at the beginning is the smallest and invisible vibration descending from the blessed gardens of Asgard

However much we ourselves may in the end see only those manifestations of mighty forces, these great manifestations have their foundation precisely in the weaving of fine currents and threads which always work first with the smallest, which is invisible, for at that moment it is still only a radiation

First all the spiritual building particles move, which by the liveliness of their radiation precede the material manifestation

Only this streaming of the smallest kind then brings ever stronger currents and forces which set further and greater parts in motion

So it is in all happenings, and people know this very well from their physical investigations too

But they have never carried it over into their own world, in which everything that is realised by human hands, so as to influence much else, should be governed by this same approach

Thus the most important thing, in which lies the fundamental power of every human success, is precisely the right influencing of all the invisible particles out of which the manifestation of the human will in our volition and conduct is formed

From the ground up there should be present in it only one directed power of volition, which is the purest all-embracing attunement in a person

And in this all-embracing connection with the spiritual inner being of a person everything is then further divided into what is in consonance with the harmony of Creation and what, despite the outward words of people, goes against the harmony of the whole

In the first case the concentric forces lead everything to a development which we may call a vibrating together with the Will of God

In the second case, then, all doing goes from the ground up in contradiction to the Will of God

Therefore, for a better understanding, it was written by Parzival in the Message from the Grail that everything which sounds in accord with the Will of God has shades of the violet kind, and that what stands against the harmony of Creation and is therefore in contradiction to the Will of God has a foundation lying in the murkiness of a corpse-like, lifeless yellow

In this lies all the knowledge needed for all the dealings of us human beings, so that we may become truly vibrating together with Creation

It was said not only that these two colours always have several shades, but also that they have many degrees of expression, where it is needful to heed that a person should grasp already at the beginning of his recognition in which direction the will, and thus the ever more conscious volition, goes in the given matter

In this very thing lies hidden the significance of the preciousness of the smallest

For Creation even the faintest shade which yet vibrates in the violet kind of radiation is more precious than great deeds and manifestations which seemingly change outward things, while the radiation accompanying it all bears witness that the very foundation springs from a source which for the Light cannot be supported and is even to be rejected

But there is far more in it: if the spirit concentrates its perceiving upon grasping the meaning of the words that everything needs to proceed from a small foundation, there lies in it at once a great strengthening for every striving of his, for he may be certain that in everything which springs from the purest fervent volition of the spirit the flow of the strengthening current of the Light is with him everywhere from the beginning

Great things always grow first out of the smallest, and therefore it is important to regard the smallest as worthy of attention in everything that people do

Thereby they will only draw nearer to accord with the animistic working, for the animistic does not act in it even a little otherwise

In all the happenings of the animistic manifestations of the elements, of the plants and of all the smallest parts of life which belong to the unconsciously animistic kind, everywhere there is always first woven a happening from the invisible smallest towards an ever more visible and stronger manifestation

In the case of man, the capacity to recognise the birth from the smallest to the greater is bound up with intuitive perceiving, which opens the capacity for an ever fuller harmony of the whole

That is something which then stands wholly against every cunning human exclamation which says that “the end justifies the means”

Nothing of the kind is in Creation a part either of the building up or of the administration of all the worlds, because by its very nature it excludes itself from Creation

Only out of Lucifer's false principle could something of the kind arise, which from the ground up is in opposition to the nature of the building up of Creation

And the building up is derived from the smallest particles, which always contain a part of God's Luminous radiation, and of which it may also be said that they bear within them the radiation of the Spirit of God

Therefore we can find all around us the all-permeating foundation of every power bearing within it the blessing for the building up, which we human beings can and shall help to guide with our will along precisely the purest and most fervent ways

The awareness of this knowledge leads the human spirit to that inner maturity which it will need in the higher planes of Creation

If it does not bear this awareness within it, it must halt at a certain step and there ripen, so that it may grasp it all for further use in its participation in the weaving of the whole harmony

The use of this awareness in life already here on earth always leads only to a refining, to an ennobling, and above all to a sensitising for the receptivity to the Will of God in everything around one

Towards this people should strive to guide everything here on earth and to subordinate everything to it

The Will of God is not something outward, apart from man, to which he must subordinate himself under pressure and in a struggle against his own will

The Will of God is everywhere that there dwells the vibration of the great accord of all happenings and manifestations, out of whose union there arises the beauty of harmony and pure joy

That is surely something for which perhaps a great part of the people on this earth still long

Why then is no attention devoted to this consonance everywhere that people can and shall be co-creators in it

That then also depends upon the receptivity for the smallest happenings and things, which are to be experienced more consciously, so that they may gradually be drawn into an ever wider circle of a person's whole accord with other people and with the whole of society

It demands in every respect effort and an inner movement of the spirit, so that a person may maintain within himself that kind of receptivity for the smallest

But that is precisely the most precious thing that every person can one day carry away with him from his experiencing on this earth, onward into the further planes of Creation, into which entry can then be permitted him precisely on the basis of the skill of his spirit, of how he is able to help create harmony with the rest of the space around him

In this too lies that living foundation for the concept or designation of spiritual maturity

Spiritual maturity is not formed by an outward profession of God or by a rejection of Him, but springs for the most part from the receptivity and the nobility of character in the vibrating of all the particles of the spark of the spiritual core

The capacity to recognise the right vibrating, and thereby also to perceive where everywhere one may help to create the great harmony, lies in every germ of the human spirit

Many people also perceive this well within themselves, that it often stirs in them even when they are not believers in God

Therefore, in a certain naturalness of their spiritual foundation, they are able up to a certain degree to help create much good together with their fellow men, even as outwardly professing materialists

To perceive harmony and the capacity to help create it every person bears within himself, if only he wills it, for it lies in the origin of his spirit

Therefore there are also enough people on earth who long for peace and harmony with others, however much they maintain that they are led to it only by humanity

Out of humanity much noble, honourable dealing between people can take shape, because these are also the fundamental virtues of the human spiritual kind

It must, however, be remarked here that if a person rises rightly in the fulfilment of these virtues step by step upward to the Light, then from a certain step onward the pressure of the surrounding Light upon the spirit in its receptivity is so strong that the reception of the knowledge of the Creator and of God is already the last drawing aside of the veil for the full understanding of the great Loving-Kindness of God lying therein

From a certain step onward it is not possible to bear within oneself maturity and nobility of character and at the same time not to recognise the Source from which this nobility comes

Therefore so many people wage a long struggle within themselves on this earth and in the further planes of the world of the soul

It is the pressure of the necessary development, which shows itself in it as a lawfulness holding for all life that is permitted in Creation to develop towards its completeness and maturity

Where the smallest is overlooked, there sooner or later harm always comes for the whole

It makes no difference whether it concerns human communities comprising whole nations of the past, which by their wrong manner of birth had at last to come to collapse and downfall in history, or whether it concerns agreements and relations between people, or even only the ordering of a single person's attitude to life

Out of the smallest and at the beginning almost always invisible deviation from this direction there also arises every impairment of a person's health

Out of the invisible there forms itself every illness which then has the power to destroy a person

The more a person strives with his conscious volition towards the Light, towards God, the more must everything with him be at one with inner harmony

If a lasting tension remains even in something seemingly small, concerning even only a few of the particles that form the earthly body, then in the clustering of these smallest particles within the person an insufficient streaming is formed and a congestion arises, or on the contrary an insufficient nourishing of the given places in the body

The soul of a person striving to draw nearer to God needs to be seated surely in its connection with the body, and yet at the same time in living mobility, so that a right streaming of the forces to those smallest particles out of which the earthly body is formed can take place

Therein lies the foundation of the future healing on earth, towards which Herfeline leads, through whom there works the blessing of Maria, the Ray of the Love of God dwelling in the Grail

May everything be heeded by man upon this foundation, where the sound radiation of the body needs to be rightly nourished by the inflow of a strengthening vibration of every particle in the human body, out of which only then the cells themselves are composed, and out of these again the bones, the muscles and all the vital organs

Again in this the receptive and livingly reflecting human spirit can observe that wise greatness, how one and the same Law of God holds good in the whole development and continuance of Creation

So that the development may go rightly forward, there must be accord in everything, and thus also in the smallest and seemingly invisible, just as in the greatest, which is always visible outwardly

It is not possible to form a beautiful shell without a sound kernel

Such a procedure can never get further than to the point where the inner unsoundness shows itself and it comes at last to complete spoiling and disintegration

Why is it that we human beings do not wish to accept this into our life as the foundation for everything we do

In this procedure of a sound development from the smallest to the greater and the greatest there is contained all the success for every building up in Creation, both in the animistic and necessarily also in all humanly spiritual activity

The true ascent of the humanly spiritual kind, that is, the ascent of a person walking upward in full accord with the Will of God, never neglects even the smallest vibration, however much the greatness of his activity may spread and thereby reach ever further

Great is this Law, admonishing to the harmony of the smallest with everything great and greatest

In it lies the essence of the true ascent of mankind on earth

Whoever longs, in this and above all in the coming age, to create anything on this earth for himself and for other people in the right kind of blessed vibration needs to heed this invisible, lawful weaving of a successful result, where the foundation for everything is always to heed the smallest

There lies in it something extraordinary, if people make their own the perceiving of the preciousness of that which is the smallest fundamental part of the harmony of the Will of God in all the works of Creation

In a person's approach this demands a receptivity of the spiritual, intuitive kind

Therefore all future schools for children should also concern themselves in this direction and lead all young human spirits to the recognition of the need for intuitive liveliness, in which there lies the true power for a right striding through life

The ascent of mankind lies not in the victorious preponderance of brute might and influence, but in the power of spiritual living intuitive perceiving, which develops all the abilities in a person's personality in an even manner

Much more will need to be written about this, for the true flowering of the human world is yet to come, so that in the end all the promises for the golden age of mankind may after all be fulfilled, an age which contains within it the approaching Kingdom of God on Earth
