The glorious being of Erda, working in accord with the angel of Ephesus, is now undergoing the heaviest trial that could come to her

Bound up with matter, she bears in her kind a sensitivity towards all that takes place upon her surface so strongly as though it touched her own self immediately

The soil, the earth, the sand, the water, the ice, all this is through the animistic radiation bound with a thousandfold living threads to the glorious Erda, who bravely bears the present state of the ill-boding influence of mankind, even as also the knowing of the happenings drawing near

The present life of men, their working, digs and tears into her face, in its self-exaltation, wounds which again and again through their pain recall the complete turning away from the original plan, in whose vibrations the Earth, enlivened by Erda in the uniting radiation, arose into existence

The delicate and ethereal Erda, so incomprehensibly patient bearer of the life upon her surface, therefore now looks forward in joy to the changes which are coming

They will bring her new pain, yet at the same time redemption, renewal and a rejuvenation to virginity

The angel bows down to Erda and mediates to her the power which he himself was permitted to receive from Parzival and thereafter also from Hermetes, the wise servant of Valhalla

His candlestick, after a long time of flickering flaring, now begins to shine brightly in the extolling of the Light which has come to him

In prayer the exalted guardian of these subsequent worlds lifts up his hands, he who from the beginning was immersed from the heights of the circle of Mercury into one of the parts of the materialities, and down his cheeks there run tears of joyful thanks for the deliverance from the darkness which for a long time surrounded him

His happiness is that which now strengthens Erda, that in readiness she may patiently bear the upheavals and the feverish transformations which will come

The servants swinging around her and working in her soil and in her elements strengthen this most sorely tried among them, the administratress bound up with matter of the blue jewel circling in the universe, for the strokes of the sword of Parzival, over and above all that is painful, will bring rebirth to her also

Liberation, a free breathing out, that is now awaited by all the life in nature upon Earth

A great adornment Erda prepares for those who in the generations to follow will come into this earthly world

With the tiny hands of the little servants there are being prepared the threads leading to the birth of animals and of plants which were last upon Earth in ages long past, or which have never yet been here at all

Glorious creatures, most beautiful plants of fabled forms and colours, wait as a host for their emerging upon the surface of the Earth, that through their being they may confirm the inexhaustibility of the glory and the wondrousness of the working of God in Creation

Here too, in these far distances of matter remote from the Light, life can be most glorious and enduringly blessing

The threads are prepared beforehand in invisibility, led by the most admirable ways to the Earth

They lead from the delicate pre-forms, towards whose nature there bow down the pictures from the luminous heights

The cells are hidden in waiting in the bodies of the creatures and of the plants which in their present form inhabit the Earth at this time

The radiation of the ray of Parzival, which has now drawn near and works ever more strongly, acts as a key for the opening of the sluices for the nourishing luminous streaming which at the right time, after the stormy transformations, will bring about the enlivening of new forms that will emerge in kinship out of the life of the existing animals and plants

Only a distant kinship will suffice for the emerging of new forms of colours, of shapes, of sizes

Thus many miracles will come to pass literally before the eyes of men, without the wise Laws of Creation being thereby transgressed

It will be a new life which the fullness of grace of the Creator will grant to those who in the time to follow will be permitted to inhabit the Earth

The Face of the Earth will change, and the glorious Erda will again blaze in the radiation of the luminous forces which will stream to her from the brightly shining angel of the world-part of Ephesus

Blessed the men who in their purity and spiritual openness will be permitted to inhabit the Earth, renewed in the luminous lustre of Erda

Blessedly endowed by the Light will be those who will be permitted to enter into the new time of the Earth which is drawing near

Let us strive with all our power that in the purification and the brightening of our attitude towards life we may one day be permitted to belong to those who will cross the threshold of the new age upon Earth
