This tenderly appearing servant of O-dio-nar has a task which is closely bound up with all the sheaths of the creatures in the Subsequent work of Creation

In her kind of radiation she is the one weaving every sheath for him who is to find a support for his working in the planes of the materialities

The coverings issuing from the workshop of the countless weaving handmaidens of Herfeline are therefore a support also for the working of the human spirit upon its way through the Subsequent Creation

Herfeline and her handmaidens work with the radiations and the nebulae which always precede by half a degree the actual covering which men, and also the animals, then bear as the ever outermost sheath bestowed upon them for the way through the material planes

The whole stream of radiation issuing from the workers subject to Herfeline pervades the Subsequent Creation, in order through its descending downwards to give the equipment for being to all creatures upon their ways through the materialities

Through the fulfilling service of Herfeline there passes the weaving of the radiation which is bound up with all the sheaths that the human spirit bears upon its ways through the Subsequent Creation

With a wise knowledge of the Laws of Creation she joins these coverings of the several threads of radiation and thereby makes it possible that the finer of these coverings are always the starting point for the next covering of a denser kind

The weaving proceeds in a wondrous, supremely just manner, which encompasses every least stirring of the soul and spins it into the covering which awaits man at his earthly birth

Let everyone here pause and ponder well that “least”

There is nothing which could slip out of the threads that are spun in the path of fate of man, but everything is in the end reflected, to the very last farthing, in the returning happening

Just so, out of all the motives which man sends forth from himself into Creation there is also woven all that is to come, which lies in the coverings that it is then given him to bear

It is the same as with the earthly name, which also to a certain degree is connected with the covering of the earthly body and likewise awaits man at the moment of his birth into this world

The originating finer covering, from which the earthly forming of the body is subsequently derived, is found in the astral degree above matter, where in part the awareness of our being here on Earth is experienced, yet not there alone, but also in the further finer coverings of the kind of the soul and of the animistic

Man does not see these finer coverings which he bears contained within himself, or else he observes only a small particle of them

Therein lies a protection for man, that he may not become one who wrongly penetrates into these threads, which are to remain for ever more or less hidden from him, for he would soon lose himself in the multitude of threads which interweave and cross into one another, catching up all things out of the past of man

Some of the threads would incite his inclination to pride in his lighter past, others again would lead to horror and to faint-heartedness

It is therefore to remain for him a sublime mystery, for here on Earth he would never survey it in such a way as rightly to comprehend it in the distortion of the intellect

Man is to live here and now in the fullness of the experiencing of his earthly consciousness

Neither could he comprehend how many blessings and gifts are at the same time woven into his coverings, which he would never exhaust, however long he might occupy himself with these gifts alone, which are given him lovingly from the Light upon the way of his passing through the material planes

He is to live these gifts, to experience them, and not to occupy himself with them in a toying rummaging, for only in the living and the experiencing will he discover them and also rightly make use of them

It is not to be examined wherein one man surpasses another, whether his gifts are the more precious or not

Everyone, even the very last of men, bears within his equipment so much that his one earthly life does not suffice for the using of it, always nine tenths will remain unrecognised, lying literally fallow

The gifts offer themselves to him therein of their own accord in the course of life, yet he heeds them not, he sees them not, for for the most part they are only delicate hints of capacities which in the world of today find but little application and attention, and thus often the most precious remains hidden for a whole lifetime

For the greatest part of the gifts opens itself only through an awakened lovingness, whether towards other men, towards nature, towards the spiritual worlds and in all this of course towards God Himself

The lovingness of a joyful purity is the key to much, in no other way can the greatest part of the gifts which man has received be discovered and used

How far removed is this attitude from the world of today

In the present time the discovering of aptitudes and gifts is prompted in the individual by the striving to excel, by the striving above all to raise himself up to visibility before others

For this man will do much in order to step forth before others, but he will do almost nothing in order to help others in love and unselfishly to endow them with his capacities

It is a wholly opposite direction from that for which the gifts were given from the Light through Herfeline to the human spirit for the way of its development

Everyone is therefore first to look to the becoming luminous of his inner being, for in that alone lies the true way to a fully valid experiencing of life

A great thankfulness is to flood his inner being at the awareness that he is, that he exists, that in all the forms of bodily shapes he may call himself a human spiritual being, wherein there is contained so great a dignity that until now it has never been rightly valued by men

There are also many men who, as the outcome of the past, have received for their earthly way a sheath which they find unlovely, oppressive, painful, or even alien to themselves

Therein there rises in them the experiencing of wrong and of futility concerning the time of their earthly duration

How little do such men know what they do when so foolishly, so superficially they look upon their fate

They know not that often it was they themselves who besought that their bodily covering might bear within itself all that was needful for spiritual advancement towards the Light, as towards the first goal to which at that time they were wholly resolved to strive

The bodily covering is thus always a gift which mediates to everyone above all the precious experiences so needful for the spiritual striding forward

This covering is therefore not chosen for delight and for the making happy through its outward beauty, nor for the experiencing of a frivolous, idle drifting through life

In the outcome all that which men in the earthly world of intellectual delusion experience as injustice, when their body or their capacities are marked by a deficiency in comparison with other men, is precisely a gift bestowed upon them, which can move them more swiftly, more directly upwards, towards spiritual maturity

Yet man in the earthly covering, instead of bearing his deficiencies bravely, with humility and with the resolve to live up to a certain pride and a patient self-mastery, rebels against these wise, bestowed weavings from Herfeline and from the hosts of her helpers, and fights against them with every means in order to cast them off, for he feels himself injured and unjustly short-changed in comparison with others, who appear to him as men more happily endowed by fate

And yet often it is precisely all the outwardly healthy and earthly beautiful men who might quietly envy him, for it is a certain grace and blessing bestowed by Herfeline, who has touched his path of fate and makes it possible for him to throw all his powers into asking after the higher order which lies within the whole happening

Were he to do so in honesty, he would swiftly recognise that nothing is without a cause and that grace was granted him, in the humble acceptance of the experiencing of his deficiencies and of his being short-changed in comparison with others, to shake from himself in accelerated fashion whole great parts of the karmic past and in a liberating flight to hasten upwards

Herfeline would so gladly mediate only beauty and perfection to all creatures, yet she is bound by the great Laws of Justice and of Love, and thus her weaving shapes and orders all things in such a way that the foremost thing is the spiritual progress of man which this or that covering can mediate to him

The laying aside of karmic burden does not lie in the wresting of oneself free from the deficiencies of the body by earthly interventions alone, as today many strive to amend their original conditions in order to attain an earthly improvement of appearance or of health

Everything is first to be experienced, in true comprehension and in the acceptance of the knowledge of the perfect Justice of the Creator's Laws

Thus the inward transformation is always first to be the foundation for the outward transformation

This holds good for every laying aside of a defect or for every amelioration of an illness which the body bears

In the great Laws of the Creator there worked also the Son of God Jesus, when He healed and helped the men who came to Him with fervent entreaties for help

With joy Herfeline changed, under the working of the radiation of Jesus, the connecting threads which before the touch of God's Light still clung to this or that bodily covering of man

This was made possible for her through the accelerated working of Power of the divine kind, whereby first the inward radiation of the man concerned always changed, and this penetrated gradually from the spirit outwards

The spirit touched by the ray of God's Love shone forth in the blissful receiving of this radiation

Then this radiation was permitted to pass in accelerated fashion through all the inner coverings of the soul, until at last the power of the radiation penetrated into the densest astral and material sheaths, so that the healing might be accomplished in the earthly bodily being of the man who besought the Son of God for healing

Blessed were these hours for Herfeline, when she was permitted to be present at the all-uplifting, strengthening and healing radiation which issued from the Son of God

With bliss she received this radiation and, illumined to the highest degree of her animistic origin, she let the healing radiation stream through her to those who with their inner being opened themselves to the Light of the Son of God

And also, when Mary dwelt for a short time in Valhalla, accompanying Parzival upon His way towards the materialities, then Her loving healing ray touched in blessing the servant Herfeline

In co-operation with the noble servant Hathmes, who for her work accelerates the course of the happening, Herfeline can in the blessed ray of Jesus and of Mary even now bring to men who are open to the healing powers of the Grail countless helps of transformation towards healing

But as has been said, the condition is always first the opening of man in pure trust to the greatness and the wisdom of God, working towards the healing which may thereafter descend to him from the heights of Creation

Thereby the most important thing for the healing is fulfilled

That the healing work of the servant Herfeline may be permitted to be fulfilled, the spirit of man must himself step forth to meet the streaming of the Power, in pure trust in God's all-wisdom and greatness

All that strives for a true healing must penetrate through man from within outwards

Only in this inward strong rousing of man can there come about the happening which is called a miracle, yet in reality it is only an accelerated happening, wherein the hands of the helpers of Herfeline may detach from man the burdens which before that had been laid upon him for some karmic reason, through the weaving of the original covering

In this happening an earthly mediator can also help, who has the qualification to supply the human spirit inwardly with sufficient strength and trust, so that in a flash of becoming luminous the vibrations may be permitted to carry over, like rings upon the surface of water, through the inner coverings as far as the surface of the earthly body

When this is fulfilled, then there can come to man a healing of the miraculous kind also upon his earthly body

This, however, does not hold good absolutely always, for for Herfeline there still holds the condition of the spiritual goal of man and thus of the spiritual benefit which the nature of his innermost self has from such a state

This benefit could always come about only in the case of the Son of God Jesus, or in the working of the Rose – Mary, or of those spirits who were once permitted to prepare themselves in the heights of the Light for a helping working in the radiation of Love towards their fellow men upon their ways in the earthly world

The purified inner being of the healed one then shines, after such an intervention, like a new page in his book of the spirit

For the one thus healed it is literally the opening of a new chapter of his existence

For this reason also Jesus said with emphasis to the healed that they should sin no more in their further striding through life

Thus also the other helpers who long to heal and to help others are always to be guided by this, that there is here a higher determination of laws which often they cannot survey, and thus, despite their striving to help, Herfeline cannot bring about the result of healing

Many healers lack the needful Power of the highest kind, the Power which is able first to irradiate the inner being of man

Even though with them there is in every respect a sincere striving to help their fellow men, their capacities are only limited and they cannot mediate the fundamental Power for the awakening of the spiritual inner being of the one healed, so that a flaring up of radiance might come about in his inner being

Oftentimes they themselves do not bear within them sufficient radiance and purity

It is of course possible that the sick man should call forth this radiance out of himself in a complete, childlike pure surrender into the arms of the Will of God, but this state is today especially disturbed by the mistrust arising from a limited intellectuality and from a wandering of thoughts along confused ways

Where there is no irradiated, reborn inner being, there comes about no complete recovery in the long term, and if perhaps the power of the healer presses back for a while the determining radiation of Herfeline and a shifting towards the better comes about, sooner or later the illness or the affliction returns, for the chief thing in the inner being of man did not swing itself further upwards, to a higher pure radiance

Thereby such a healing is beforehand destined to failure

Therefore it is needful that in a healing which is to receive the blessing also of Herfeline and of her helpers, the man being healed should first cling with his inner being to a childlike radiant surrender to the Will of God

Only a pure childlikeness therein, and the trust going hand in hand with it, which stirs the inner being of man to the vibration of a blissful flash of the spirit, can bring the shifting which leads as far as the healing that thereafter manifests itself in the earthly bodily covering of the spirit

If men knew this principle and above all were able inwardly, truly to experience it in one single moment of the shining forth of their spirit, much of the helping here on Earth could become far easier and more a matter of course

Many illnesses might be laid aside and even the gravest defects would become more bearable, or would even vanish

Herfeline is in joy always wholly open to this, that in a man who has inwardly ripened she may be permitted to change the radiation in his threads, which are found half a degree above the material body

Matter itself then swiftly yields to the pressure of this change, and the healing dawns in one more swiftly, in another gradually, demanding still patience and humility for the strengthening in faith

It always dawns just as it is rightly to be

Yet, as has been said here, not in all and not always is it possible to bring this about with an effect reaching into gross matter, for the determining thing is the high streaming of the threads to which Herfeline also is subordinate

Some hardships in the bodily covering of the spirit have a meaning for the ripening and the furthering of spiritual growth, and thereby the laying aside of their effects would itself stand against the Law of Creation, which always looks first of all to the spiritual benefit leading to the goal of the way of man

After the laying aside of the bodily covering such a suffering man, bearing his hardships, has then, if he has maintained within himself trust in the Light and the purity of his inner being, a manifold endowment in compensation for the time which he spent on Earth in hardships

Blessed are they who in inward gentleness bear their hardships bravely and in whom there rises no murmuring voice of injustice

For such Herfeline weaves already beforehand the glory of their inner coverings, which they will then be permitted to bear when one day they leave this earthly world

Lovingness and a caress descend upon those who bear within themselves the knowledge of a higher order of things and thereby draw near to the comprehension of the faithful work of the noble servant Herfeline and of her helpers

Perhaps it will also sometime be possible for them to behold this glorious being Herfeline, who in her appearance is almost perfectly like her mother and superior in one animistic person, in Valhalla, Herferide, with this difference only, that she bears upon her diadem the sign of the blue shining star of faithful service, in whose radiance there lies hidden the gift of the Primordially Created for the help of those who upon their ways through the Subsequent Creation are bearers of a pure heart

One day too, in the time to come, there will blaze as a symbol above all the helping directed towards healing here on Earth a blue star, bearing within itself deep inner peace and a healing wisdom vibrating in accord with the primordially eternal Laws of Creation

Behind this symbol it will then be possible for men ever more clearly and more joyfully to find an intimation of the blessed work of the servant Herfeline and of her lovingly working helpers

When therefore the healing symbol of the radiation of the blue star of Herfeline blazes above earthly healing, then it will be possible to divine that the efforts of men have drawn near to union with the high working of the animistic servants, who work into the materialities from the heights of Valhalla

That will surely be a sign that mankind has at last stepped forth upon the right way of the fulfilling of its great spiritual task in the Subsequent Creation
