The Way of the Grail, in the Workshop Efemeridis which it has founded, has received in gracious blessing out of the animistic currents of Valhalla, as a gift, a recipe for the improvement of the cooperation with the small animistic ones, the root goblins and the other workers in the soil, and thereby also for the improvement of the cultivation of plants in the present time

This recipe has been given the name “The Drink for the Root Goblins”, and for earnest enquirers we bring its content and also the procedure of its preparation on the pages of the Way of the Grail, in the part of the pages called “The Common Space”

The recipe comes from the servant Venes, who was sent by Siphe herself for the support of the striving of men towards cooperation with the small animistic servants working in the soil in gardens, in the field, in the meadows, in the forest and everywhere where these tenacious little helpers of the plants labour with their tools

The preparation can easily be made under domestic conditions, and one preparing of it in the spring suffices, with gradual drawing off and repeated replenishing with water, for the whole time of one yearly season in the garden

This preparation is not like any of the hitherto existing preparations for the support of the growth of plants, the blossoming of flowers, or for a targeted yield of fruit, or for the support of anything else that men in general expect from plants today in cultivating them

“The Drink for the Root Goblins” is a preparation which makes possible the connection of man with the vibrations of the working of the animistic world

It is therefore neither a fertiliser nor anything of the kind

It is to become a hand held out for cooperation on the part of human volition in the direction of the small animistic ones, who create in the soil and thereby shape the basic conditions for the plants rooting in it

By its very nature this preparation takes up all that is needed for the attuning of a mutual harmony of the man who longs to cooperate, upon the soil entrusted to him, with those caretakers who on the animistic plane shape the ideal conditions in the soil for all other creatures and living organisms

The power of the preparation for the improvement of the soil stands in direct proportion to the thoughts with which it is made ready, from the beginning to the end of its ripening, when it can be used

The thoughts and the whole attunement are therefore an important part of the preparation for its effectiveness

It is needful that the man who makes ready “The Drink for the Root Goblins” strives to grasp in living pictures the forms of the small animistic servants at their work

He should always bear within him kindliness and reverence towards these servants, so that they may perceive his knowing attitude, open to cooperation, in a wholly new setting of human activity with the soil and with nature

The hitherto prevailing enforcing of man's will in the tilling of the soil, which for the most part resembles rather a struggle and a battle with everything that man from his own point of view holds to be obstructing and to be setting itself against his intellectual volition, is now to be changed, and this change is to imprint itself, as the expression of the new attitude, upon the content of the preparation being made ready

Only in such an attitude will the preparation also work for the good of the cause, and thereby in the end raise the tilled soil towards the general ascent, in full harmony with the world of the animistic servants

Out of this nothing else can then arise than an all-round blessing, whereby in the cultivation of plants results of an admirable kind will appear

Man can again become welcome to the animistic servants in his working with the soil

In the near future this is to become a true reality, which will show that with the right attitude of man towards the soil, as the fundamental part of nature, this soil can bring forth for him out of its womb results never yet seen

Then will man be happy, yet at the same time this happiness of his will not be at the expense of the world of the animistic servants, as is mostly the case today in the land-tilling doings of men, but in full harmony with it

This will again bring only a multiplying of forces, and in this multiplying the way for the sustenance of men will show itself in a far easier manner than it has been until now in the established attitude, which on man's part resembled nothing but a rough battle with matter, which he held to be his property and out of which he wished to plunder as much wealth as possible for his own advantage

The soil, however, is not dead matter, bound at man's call to yield up everything out of its treasuries of energies and forces, but it is a living organism which breathes and works through the care of the animistic servants

To them, therefore, man is now to express reverence anew, a voluntary humility seeking harmony and cooperation

Everywhere that man is able to do this, there the treasuries of blessing on the part of the small animistic ones can now open, for the instruction has been given by the high animistic servants that in those places where men show their goodness towards cooperation in their knowledge of the animistic forces, the small animistic ones are to manifest their joyful readiness to help

May the new preparation bearing the name “The Drink for the Root Goblins” therefore be the first messenger of the newly established attitude of men towards the world of the animistic servants
