The Exalted Harmony of the Animistic

Present-day mankind considers itself to be very advanced and versed in all things, yet in reality it is far removed from a real knowledge of life

It stands truly in a place entirely opposite to that where the true recognition may be sought of what the world is, and above all of what principles of a wise weaving work in this world for the maintaining of life

That which in reality is a benefit and a strengthening towards the healthy life willed by God, that the man of this pampered age calls a harsh struggle, and he seeks to work against it with all the strength of his rankly overgrown intellect

Men who work in this way, however, only deflect ever further by their striving that original great harmony which is always to be found in the world of nature, so long as it remains untouched by the self-seeking volition of earthman

Yet man himself is not in the least exempted from the bounds of the world of nature here, and therefore he needs at last to learn to receive rightly, that is, also with a certain humility, that which the animistic working has brought for him into these places of the universe and which it forms again and again for the renewal of the forces

That means a return to true health, which is always bound up with a certain hardiness that is needed if men are to stand firm in the vibrations of the animistic working

But from this the present world of men is distant by whole stellar lengths

With their fragmentary findings about the manifestations of the individual particles of materiality men seek to form a world of their own, in which only human rules proceeding from their limited horizon are to hold good

This limited horizon enters into all kinds of activity and forms opinions in which men vainly seek to find a balanced anchorage for their life

In this advancing forward earthly science too has sought, over the last several decades, to form a space in which everything was to be governed solely by its determining

Thus inconspicuously the narrowed limitation of science penetrated into all fields of human activity, in order to bring everything proceeding from it to an apparent flowering, with the endeavour to exalt it into the crown of human knowledge of all ages

But it is only a fragmentary work which almost nowhere bears within it a living connection with the real streaming of the forces proceeding from the hands of the real administrators of the materialities, the animistic servants

Indeed one may even say that all the present activity of men proceeding from the findings of science goes against that required development which should rightly have been here under the guidance out of the Light

Hitherto men have paid no heed to this, and science in particular has never given thought to the fact that in the first place it ought always only humbly and with a certain diffidence to hearken to the guidance of the animistic

The discoveries which came to many researchers were not rightly recognised as they should have been

It was always a matter only of tiny partial glimpses into the immense wellspring of the living forces which penetrate out of Valhalla into the materialities

Yet precisely these small particles of knowledge led with scientists to the unjustified and proud supposition that they hold something great which has made earthly mankind superior to nature upon this earth

Everywhere then, where with this supposition man threw himself upon his path, he began to form artificial things which sooner or later return as an unwelcome fruit confirming the severance from the harmony of the world of nature

It is like a game for children, in which man moves one piece in the direction which in his own opinion is the most advantageous, but will no longer accept that thereby a shifting of many further pieces, of which he knows nothing, must at once come about, pieces which in the end return as a reciprocal stroke expected by no one

And so it is today everywhere

It is already quite evidently a “fighting of fire with fire”

But men do not want to see it, although in confirmation of their own severance they were themselves subconsciously compelled to give their true names to many of the discoveries they created on the basis of science

The invisible pressure of the work of Creation working upon the spirit thus had to lead the scientists, with everything that issued from the severance of science, to the designation “artificial”

We find it after all everywhere when we look at the substances formed by man under the influence of present-day science, as also precisely at medicines

In everything there is contained in the naming either directly the designation “artificial”, or else the name itself bears in its wording the most complicated formulation of the artificial language of science, most often Latin, which the spirit of man does not understand

In all this we can after all clearly observe the severance of the present scientific working of man from the world of nature, in which on the contrary everything remains for ever clear and simple from the beginning to the end, if man lets himself be led by the animistic guides who show him the way

Thus everywhere we look we find two kinds of working going side by side, which stand in an ever sharper clash

It is the world of earthman and the world of the animistic servants

Instead of these two worlds being one fully harmonious gearing, as it ought always to have been, there prevails here an ever stronger adversity, in which the harmony of the animistic world is disturbed ever more ruthlessly by humanly irresponsible interference in the creating of man's artificial world, standing proudly on its own

Now, however, there comes the impact, in which the Light flying through the universe has made ready the way also for the strengthening of the dominion of Valhalla over this earth

The animistic servants, strengthened by the influx of the Radiation of the Ray of Parzival, began already more than three years ago to weave an entirely new chapter for this earthly world

This part of the happening may be called an intensified reminder from the real administrators of the Subsequent Creation

The administration of Valhalla vibrates lastingly in faithful service to the Will of God, which now, in the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, will draw near to this mankind in order in the coming time to lead it back to the place where the human spirit is rightly to work

And it is truly a momentous happening which will in the end manifest itself in the life of every one of men, for in this happening there is now contained the most important thing of all the last millennia of this earth

Already it penetrates into all the threads, in order at last wholly to surround the individual man and to give him no other space for life than that which vibrates wholly with the Will of God

But that is precisely what men do not understand and what they explain to themselves most wrongly, for they have never connected with the Will of God the demand for the highest mobility of the spirit

Indeed men do not even suspect that the Love of God too is in this respect entirely in accord with the Will of God, which after all forms in the thoughts of men more room for severity

The Love of God, however, can work to the benefit of man only if he himself strives in his inner being for the highest movement through his intuitive perception

At no other time can the Love of God work with its helping, rescuing wondrousness than when the spirit of man stands in the highest tautening of its capacity for pure intuitive perception

Only in that moment can the Light streaming out of the Love of God down towards the materialities be of help to such a man

What this means, however, present-day man again does not know, because the very concept of the pure intuitive perception of the spirit has long been lacking to him

That in this intuitive perception there is contained the receptivity of fellow feeling with others, that he in part concedes, even though this intuitive perception too is remote from the man of today, but that with pure intuitive perception there is bound up, as an inseparable value, also the capacity for self-conquest and to a certain degree the harshness of one's own hardiness, that has already become almost wholly remote from present-day man

But precisely the helping Love of God always works for man only upon the reaching of the limit of his capacity to overcome himself in the diminishing of his own wishes

In their pamperedness this has become for men something which frightens and terrifies them, because they expect the course of their life to be but a sequence of comfortable events, agreeable to them alone

Thereby, however, mankind becomes wholly severed from the blessing of all the helps of the Light, for these always come only at the very summit of man's giving out of his own strength

In the same way man is severed from the animistic weaving in the materialities here, for the animistic acknowledges only the highest movement of the most earnest vibrating of every creature in the mission appointed for it by God

Precisely therein men have hitherto failed in their spiritual sleep, and today this is most to be observed in the manifestations of the complete contrariety of all human striving upon earth

There is lacking here clarity, pure objectivity and also a courageous, health-restoring harshness in all the manifesting of man towards himself in life

Precisely this health-restoring harshness we can find among all the ancient peoples and tribes which kept for themselves the connection with the animistic and also with the spiritual worlds

The capacity valiantly to stand firm in the struggle for values of a higher kind, in which precisely the spirit is to show the highest striving after the seeking of harmonious ways for the asserting of the higher principles of morality and of spirituality in human life, that is today wholly lost, and the striving which men expend therein is barely a tenth of a real living commitment of the forces flowing out of their conviction

With contempt therefore the animistic looks upon present-day man, who appears as a creature grown slothful and oversensitive towards himself, who by this self-centredly rotten approach of his to life brings into all animistic endeavour only decay and decline

The one thing in which mankind today appears as living and mobile is the overwrought striving of the intellect, which seeks to solve any obstacles by ways of its own, in spite of the fact that these lead in an entirely different direction from that in which all the rest of life in the universe develops

And precisely therefore an impact is to be expected upon that state which to the animistic servants of Valhalla appears perverted and already almost impossible to bring back into the original balance otherwise than through an increased force upon all the fronts of the animistic working

Thus the Alphar now lead the unconscious animistic into an ever greater nearness to man, for only this pressure can still lead to a rousing of the human striving for survival

But this too needs to be approached rightly, so that a harmonious accord may be found

For this it is also needful to grasp how that efficacy of the smallest unconsciously animistic radiation arises which in the end appears so dangerous for man in his life

How, then, the working of that truly smallest unconsciously animistic radiation arises, we shall show in the description that follows

We may say that everything which in the gross matter here is animated by the animistic always has its natural development given by the higher guidance out of the animistic and also out of the spiritual division of Creation

This development, as a lawful happening, concerns absolutely every particle of life in the material space of the universe here

And thus also those smallest particles which are connected with the animistic radiation out of the lowest-lying ocean of life in the gardens of Asgard had their utterly natural development towards their present kind of working in nature

All the earthly shells of the individual organisms are always led towards their development from the simplest degrees of their basic kind

During the transition from one period of development into another there comes, at certain degrees of the glowing through, the time when the basic shem changes which bears within it the key to the forming of the particular shell

And this shem, which may be designated as the composition of the basic radiation, is transformed in this time of its rebirth from the one degree into the other in such a way that there falls away from it that which has already been outgrown and can therefore no longer be put to further use for the hands of the creating Alphar

Thereby particles are formed which have already once been used, but whose radiation now, under the pressure of development, is no longer suited to the further glowing through within the whole shell in which an animal or human soul is anchored, or also a radiation of the plant kind

These particles, however, do not perish in the whole of their variety, but a part of them retains for itself the possibility of connection with the animating radiation of the unconsciously animistic kind

The particles live their own life, seemingly separated from the rest of the life of the material shells of creatures and of plants which has moved higher in development

Although these separated particles live, their radiation is nevertheless so weak that it does not suffice for a multiplication of their own

Yet even to this weak kind of particles, as to every animistic life in the gross materiality, there penetrates the will of Efredite, which urges them to the forming of continuing generations

In order that these particles may keep themselves alive in their continuing of generations, they are compelled to seek out for themselves a place suited to a possible happening of multiplication

Literally they are driven to this by the pressure of the animistic instinct of self-preservation

They therefore seek a place for life and for the fulfilment of the longed-for happening of multiplication

And this happening is possible only by entering into connection with those shells from which these particles separated themselves during one of the stages of development

Thus these particles, driven by the will for the continuation of their kind, seek for themselves the shortest way to the shells which by their stronger radiation can afford them a refuge for multiplication

To such already independent shells, however, these particles in their striving appear as alien intruders

Literally, by their presence, and being themselves unaware of it, they attack the otherwise peacefully unfolding course of life of the shells of the particular kind of creatures or of plants

By this irruption of theirs into the peaceful course of things they call forth a ground for a new movement in the radiation of the shell they have occupied

In the shell, however, this always demands a tautening of all the forces and a new awakening and unfolding of the fighting components, which thus gradually in their development adapt themselves to the raids of the alien particles attacking from without

The presence of such a particle of the smallest unconsciously animistic kind at once calls forth a fighting readiness in the whole life process of such a shell

It is a wrestling which every shell must from time to time undergo, for therein lies for it the development of a skill of the defensive kind

Therein too, then, there is progress and development

And this development is a part of the movement which in the animistic always counts as the mark of a health-restoring striving of life

The shell too which is exposed to the attack of the alien particles has many helps at hand on the part of the helping forces of the higher animistic kind

Towards the assailed shells there incline the helpers and the women helpers under the guidance of Herfeline, not seldom supported by Haetheine herself

Where a battle forms, there power is at once brought for the defence of the assailed side

That is the law which holds good as a call out of Valhalla, for the animistic beholds in this battle the way towards a health-restoring development

Where, however, the shell is too greatly weakened in a general immobility, which in the case of man is always inseparable from the radiation of the spiritual kind that is present, there the defence is often not in sufficient readiness for battle

Thereby the intruding alien particles gain the upper hand more easily and can even threaten the existence of the whole mechanism of the shell

As we have already mentioned, in God's Loving-Kind ordering of the worlds and of the forces working in them no one, however, is ever left without help

This help, however, must find an inner will to life, which shows itself precisely in a strong will to rouse oneself to movement and thereby to raise one's radiation of life

A too greatly weakened shell, however, is not seldom no longer capable of this movement and of this strengthening of the radiation, and so the alien particles, which in exchange for their multiplying in the shell were to bring strengthening, gain for themselves in their natural aggressiveness such an upper hand that, in spite of their gradual retreat, they call forth a chaining of the disruption of the original peaceful state to such a degree that the shell must in the end release the connecting radiation which bound the soul of the animal or of the man

Let us add that the weakening of the shell can have many grounds, such as precisely a growing slothful or a wrong manner of nourishment, but also the ground of the complete fulfilment of the given task in this part of Creation

Thereby there comes about the loosening of the soul core of the animal, or of the soul covering of the spirit in the case of man, and with the earthly shell there sets in that cooling of the radiation which men commonly call earthly death

And yet there was in the nature of the attacking particles nothing more than the will to multiply under conditions which bind themselves magnetically to the given kind by their close similarity

This happening is made use of also by Haerthemis, already mentioned in the previous texts, for the marking of those earthly creatures which to her sight appear by their radiation as not sufficing for the ideal movement

Where some kind of immobility in slothfulness shows itself, or perhaps another insufficiency through unhealthy crossing in procreation, there everywhere Haerthemis in the world of nature marks every such shell for the unconscious animistic particles, which can then be sent by the animistic herdsmen to their working

The ground for the marking with the arrow of Haerthemis, however, is always given by a strict knowledge of the radiation of the individual degrees of the coverings of matter

Haerthemis never errs in the shooting of her arrow

And in the wake of this arrow there goes at once the opportunity for the taking hold of some unconscious animistic life, which at once feels itself drawn and is at the same time led within sight by one of the assigned herdsmen

The whole happening is thus a simple one, and it is needful in everything only to find the highest simplicity of the fulfilling of the Laws of God in the work of Creation, which have in every kind of materiality wholly concrete manifestations

Here in the materialities it is thus battle through which the animistic accomplishes the needful fulfilment of the law of movement, in which there lies hidden the key to a healthy life and to its continuing development

Here, for a right understanding, one important point of knowledge must be recalled

Namely this, that for the animistic the passing over from the one plane into the other is a wholly natural happening which has none of those grave attendant phenomena such as are precisely experienced today by earthmen

Thus for the animistic servants the human dread of the passing over from the gross material world into the world of the finer planes is incomprehensible

The animistic stands before this approach of earthman in incomprehension, for to it this is only a further progress and development, provided this happening is in accord with the threads woven by the Vaenen and formed by the Alphar into the given happening

Decisive for the animistic is the nobility of character and the honourableness with which the human spirit approaches the transformation of his being, in that he lays aside one of his coverings as a shell which has ceased to be an anchorage for a worthy life

The animal world is in this much further on than the world of present-day men

And precisely the failure to grasp the real meaning of life, and a clinging unworthy of the human spirit to one single level of its existing in the gross material world, is for the animistic a ground for looking upon the present mankind with contempt, for the High animistic ones of Valhalla were permitted to know better and more knowing times of earthly mankind

Every animal, even the smallest, is permitted to conduct itself more naturally and at the same time, in its struggle for a healthy life, more honourably than the men of the present time, who seek to join the unjoinable, the comfortable and often quite excessive enjoyment of the gifts of the earthly world and at the same time the anxious fear of pain and of death which necessarily follows upon all this comfort

A healthy life leads to a natural struggle, and therein man can always find, on the personal level, an inexhaustible abundance of helps granted out of the Light

For this, however, he needs to expend out of himself a striving which leads to discipline towards himself and thereby to a certain harshness with which he honourably and purely overcomes all the obstacles which set themselves in his path as challenges to his progress and development

Thus precisely therein lies that hitherto unrecognised condition for the manifesting of the help of the Love of God in the life of man

It comes always, but precisely only in the moment when man has first expended out of himself all his forces in order to stand firm in the surrounding conditions

Thereby he after all forms hardiness within himself, and at the same time his experiences lead him to an understanding of others, with whom he can then rightly feel in fellowship all that they live through

He can also help them, yet he always helps only there where his help has a meaning, so that it may take hold in the right soil

What this means, however, each one must learn unceasingly, in order rightly to unfold his spiritual intuitive perception, in which compassion with one's fellow man and the awareness of the necessity of movement have their place side by side

The seeking of the balance between these two poles is the way to the unfolding of an ever wiser maturity and knowingness, which gradually finds in every life the glory of the working of the Laws of God, which make it possible for every particle of life to stand firm, to grow stronger and to become more conscious in the work of Creation

And precisely therefore we may discern in the coming happening which descends towards this earth only the drawing near of a blessed, supporting intensification of the movement which will in the end bring into everything only a restoring of health in the finding of the right degree of the mutual vibrating of all creatures

Then also the mentioned principle of battle will be transformed into the highest striving of mutual supporting, so that the strong may protect and support the weaker, always exactly according to the kind of gifts and helps which it bears within itself

The animistic will always do this somewhat differently from men, but the uniting point for everything will be the nearness of the Ray of Parzival above this part of the Subsequent Creation

In the end men will recognise and gratefully receive the Justice of God and the Love of God as the most glorious starting point, enduring through all ages, for their approach to all creatures in every moment of their being

Then also above this earth, today so unquiet, there will spread out the luminous radiance of a new life in the fullness of peace

Now we draw ever more swiftly nearer to this turning point, which will bring a complete change for all earthly life

Blessed are they who enter into this period as livingly, spiritually working men who know

Their spirit will be able to draw a great knowledge out of much experiencing and thereby to strengthen its clear spiritual flame for the completing of its path towards maturity

If here upon earth he fulfils the task for which he came hither at this time, then such a spirit will be able, immediately after the departure from this materiality, to ascend right up to the gates of the spiritual home and to enter the golden streets of the promised paradise of the blessed and sublime spirits
