The high animistic servants of Valhalla, Hermetes and Hathmes, hold sway over space and time

In their hands time and space are for ever movable magnitudes

They can change them whenever this is needed in the fulfilling of the intentions of the Will of God in Creation

Human thinking can scarcely comprehend this

That is because with every such change outwardly nothing seems to happen that would be different from earlier times

Yet space and time are in reality not bound to the outward gross material forms, but always proceed from the inner degree of vibration, which among other things is also closely connected with the inner experiencing of people

The inner experiencing coming from the finer planes forms a pressure which finally manifests itself even in the dimensions of the universe

Under the influence of Hathmes and Hermetes everything then takes place in such a way that not only the outward manifestations of matter are in movement, but together with them the very measuring instruments of earthly people are shifted as well

Outwardly, therefore, all the measures and lengths of space and time which people use, and which can also be registered by measuring devices, remain the same

But that only because all their own gross material measuring devices, under the pressure of the invisible effect of the forces, undergo the change together with the outward forms of matter

Thus we may say that light flying through interstellar space still has that velocity which has been measured hitherto

Yet at the same time no one among people has any possibility of comparison, whether in reality this velocity is still the same, or whether it is quite different from the earlier velocity

It is therefore still possible to measure the same velocity of the photonic particles of light, but this velocity, together with the measuring technique, is quite another, it is heightened, for it has shifted through the influence of the demand of the Will of God for an accelerated experiencing of the human spirits incarnated into the earthly world

Likewise we may say that the length, the breadth or the volume of material things are identical with what they were centuries ago, but that only because, as has already been mentioned, all measuring instruments too are subject to the changes, in consequence of which no person has any possibility of registering the changes taking place by the outward procedures proved hitherto

The only thing which can draw the attention of earthly people is an inner perception, which is often correct in the form of a sensing that unusual changes are taking place

It is astonishing that something so simple as the comprehension that, if the magnitude and the velocity of the movement of the changes alter in the whole of gross materiality, then together with this happening all forms of material origin will be drawn along as well

That is to say, that not only people themselves, but also all the everyday instruments which they use, are subject to the changes as a whole

Among other things, through the universe having grown smaller, the Earth has drawn nearer to the Sun and to all the other stars in the solar system, without this being able to be registered by astronomical telescopes

That explains why for a certain time the climate on Earth has been transforming at an accelerated pace

Something of the kind took place also in earlier ages of the Earth, indeed already several times, and it always called forth penetrating changes in its total effect upon life in nature

Under the pressure of matter caused by its condensing, many convulsions of the continents arose, and this brought about great displacements of the currents of water and of air

Volcanoes too were awakened, and migrations of whole peoples took place who sought safety for their lives

The people of today, and especially their earthly science, should therefore begin to reason quite differently from the way they have done hitherto, if they have a genuine endeavour to comprehend what is now taking place

That which is being fulfilled has an entirely different origin from the one that is still generally sought

Everything is condensing, both space and time

Many people today perceive something extraordinary, however impossible it may be to register it outwardly

Receptivity of feeling enables man, through the perceptions of the limbic part of the brain, to perceive happenings which cannot be grasped by the intellect

It is for man a way in which he may sense in advance those fundamental changes, which in the end will have a grave effect also upon the experiencing of every single person

It is of course also possible to receive the pictures of the changes with one's spirit

Something of that kind is, however, immeasurably remote from the people of today

There are few awakened people here who would be capable of grasping anything of it through a pure clairvoyant receiving of pictures

We thus find ourselves in a state very similar to that which prevailed among the people living in the time of Atlantis

They too at that time did not wish to recognise that a fundamental turning point was drawing near for their peoples

All the warnings of the purest priestess, who alone was permitted to see it in advance, were made light of and denied in the endeavour not to provoke convulsions in society

Therefore the condensing of the then state of matter continued to that degree where, under this contraction, the Moon was temporarily deflected from its course and, through the disturbance of the gravitational forces, drew nearer to the Earth, in consequence of which unexpected changes were called forth in the element of water, when the High animistic being Neptune was summoned so that for a certain time everything should be flooded with water

Today many phenomena are coming which are similar to those in the time of Atlantis

We find ourselves in the time of the condensing and the contraction of the universe

The universe, called Hermetis also by the animistic servants, condenses and contracts, or expands, always exactly according to what kind of mighty Power of the divine radiation passes through the Grail and subsequently through Valhalla into that part in which the universe is contained – Hermetis

By kind is not meant merely the Power itself, which we might compare with a physical force, but that with which mission this Power comes

There is a difference between the Power which brings growth and development, and the Power which brings harvest and sifting

The Power of God is a living happening and always bears within itself a different mission

For some time now a significantly heightened pressure has been streaming from the heights of the work of Creation towards the world-part of Ephesus, a pressure which brings the harvest

This interpenetration of the Power which brings harvest and sifting accelerates everything, for it means that all is exposed to a pressure compelling the whole of life to plunge into a condensed experiencing

And this condensing means that matter is compressed, and thus everything contracts for the purpose of multiplying the content in all the happening

Long ago, at the arising of the universe, there came the Power destined for building up and development

Therefore it contained within itself all that was needed for enlarging and expanding

At that time, at the very beginning, everything was swifter as well, but later time slowed down, so that the ripening of the forms created by the animistic servants in gross matter could take place

Today the task laid into the hands of Hathmes and Hermetes brings its effect

The distances of all particles are diminishing, for they too are exposed to the unprecedented pressure of a Power of another kind, which drives everything towards its living out

And under this pressure everything develops in a condensed and accelerated manner, however much time and space, as the earthly measuring devices of people perceive them, remain outwardly the same

We may say that under this pressure everything hastens with a stronger movement towards the fulfilment of its tasks and duties

The human eye, however, observes nothing of it, for with its capacities it too belongs to the gross materiality in which the mentioned happenings manifest themselves

Thereby the ongoing happening cannot be registered clearly enough to call forth the dismay of earthly scientists, which otherwise would certainly have come about

As has already been said above, this is because all the measuring apparatus used by people changes together with everything else

The material world has grown denser and smaller, however much it may at the same time appear, in far vistas into the universe, that the latter is even still expanding

That, however, is only an inertial optical process

The universe of the part of Ephesus is expanding in this understanding of the interstellar distances, yet at the same time, in its greatest volume, to which the whole of gross materiality and the partly interpenetrating ethereal materiality belong, everything is diminishing and thereby growing denser

Although the universe, therefore, reckoned by the velocity of light, is still expanding, it is a part of a whole which is diminishing

We may say that everything is also under an unprecedented pressure of acceleration, however much measurable time and space appear to remain one and the same

This brings many consequences, among which is also the fact that the very earthly bodies of people are under unprecedented vibrations of the forces, and all the ailments formerly slumbering in the cells, or rather in their radiation, are literally pressed to the surface in order to manifest themselves and to cause unexpected illnesses

In the same way the human brain too is under pressure, for it likewise is composed of cells

The nerve cells of man are now sensitised to the utmost degree by this condensing pressure, and many people are unable to defend themselves against it, for this is possible only through a spiritual liveliness, which alone is able to receive the heightened pressure of the Power of God and to work it over for all the coverings of the spiritual spark into the form of a strengthening radiation

Everything that does not swing in the homogeneity of the radiation which has its origin in the high degree of the living Light will be compressed and condensed until, at a certain degree, it collapses in upon itself under this pressure, or else is pushed aside

It goes without saying that the perceiving bound up with the earthly senses will also be subjected to this pressure, and therefore the described happenings will not be registrable visibly and tangibly, as someone might perhaps object

Matter has several degrees, of which gross matter is the outermost, that which succumbs to the pressure last of all the other kinds of materiality

That is precisely why it can come about simultaneously that the universe expands and at the same time condenses

These two seemingly contradictory processes can be comprehended if we accept that time and space are magnitudes influenced from without, that is, from places lying outside the section of gross materiality itself

In order that someone might judge these processes rightly, he would have to step out of the whole of gross matter and at the same time remember how it looked within before he stepped out of it

Then he could judge whether and to what extent the gross material universe has changed and is also still changing

But because to a certain degree the whole Subsequent Creation is developing as well, together with the other planes, it is almost impossible for the human spirit to judge the changes objectively

Thus it remains solely and only in the hands of the two great servants Hathmes and Hermetes to make known what is now taking place with space and time

People can, however, perceive it in their feeling, that everything is accelerating in a peculiar way

To this many a one will object that it is a matter of the acceleration of the so-called way of life of people

To a certain extent it may appear so

The driving force in all this is, however, the accelerated returning of the threads of fate

In order that this may take place in gross matter itself as well, Hathmes and Hermetes, at the bidding of Parzival, are shifting all the happening into one central point of a great and unprecedentedly condensed happening

Together with matter we are driven in narrowing circles towards the centre of all living out

Thereby everything is shortened, compressed, and above all also accelerated

Through the mobility of the smallest particles of matter the universe transmits all this into all the forms which are visible and tangible

But because this condensing concerns absolutely everything, the earthly eye cannot observe it, for its capacities too change together with everything else

The inner perceiving of the pressure is the one thing which more sensitive people are able to register as a perception of the unusual changes connected with the present time of the announced great transformations

In these changes there is contained a very great deal which would give people answers to the multiplying questions as to all that follows from it for man as an individual and for the whole of society

On the level of the subconscious an ever greater number of people have been perceiving this for some time now

Many speak of feeling themselves literally hounded by the circumstances which press upon them

That, however, is only the result of the condensing of all the happening

And this will continue for some time yet, for the working of the outer forces upon the Subsequent Creation, and above all upon the world-part Ephesus, will grow still stronger under the effects of the Light

In the end the compression of time and space will be, for the perceiving of today, still unimaginably more powerful, so that all that yields spiritual value out of itself may be pressed forth

There will remain only that which bears within itself spiritual worth

The rest will be separated off by the pressure as being of another kind, and will have to stand aside from the purely spiritual radiation

What thus remains separated aside will, after the ensuing release of the pressure, be scattered far into the distances

It will be blown away into oblivion

Hathmes and Hermetes are those who work the levers of the press of God for spiritual oil

For a certain time this press is the local part of the Subsequent Creation, where everything is diminishing, shortening and condensing

And it will continue further, without being in any way registrable for the outward observation of people

If, however, we had the possibility of comparing the flow of time today with that of two centuries ago, for example, we would find that the hour of today would fit with its content into an earlier hour perhaps several times over

We would recognise it still more the deeper we went into the history of mankind on Earth

It is the same with all the visible space of the universe

Although it appears to be expanding, in reality this expansion unfolds within the framework of a greater dimension, to which the ethereal part also belongs, and which contracts under the heightened pressure of the Light

These happenings have their effect upon everything living which is now to be found in the world-part Ephesus

It goes without saying that such happenings will not come about without experiences for people, which will bring unaccustomed upheavals in all events

It will also come about in part with more sensitive people that their inner being will enter another dimension of time, when it will be either behind, or on the contrary already ahead of the actual present reality of gross materiality

This will call forth experiences in which happenings out of the past come alive almost tangibly, or in which something that is yet to come appears before the person who has grown sensitive

This will, however, not have its origin in clairvoyance, but the key to it will lie in the shifting of time, when several layers of planes belonging to the Subsequent Creation slide into one another, which nevertheless have in relation to each other different distinctions of time and of space

That part of the ethereal which is connected with the local universe contracts in advance, ahead of the gross material universe itself, which follows after it

At the same time, however, the ethereal part situated high above the universe remains in its peaceful adjustment, as its permeability to the streaming inflow of the Light permits it

If then the perceiving of the soul of a man finds itself more here, or more in the lighter planes of the ethereal, this will necessarily call forth perceptions which bring confusion, and often an incapacity to perceive the present in the material body here

In the end this will touch also the very comprehension of thought through the intellect, which in these shiftings of time will be unable to retain control and will become so helpless that many people will entirely lose the ability to comprehend connections

It will thus be nothing exceptional when a person begins to speak of some matter and within a few sentences ends up in an entirely different direction of thought, for the intellect will not be able to encompass the shiftings in time on the level of the soul, which take place in thousandths of a second

Those who are more awake in their inner being can observe this already today, and that not only with other people but also with themselves

In the end this will bring in part the shattering and the collapse of the world of thought in relation to the hitherto understanding of the concept of the present

That is because the present will become an entirely movable magnitude, and that even between two people alone who are standing in earthly bodies close beside each other

People incarnated in gross material bodies will comprehend the connections of their existence in differing conceptions of time and space

Today the intellect still succeeds in holding sway over the human understanding of the world by leaning upon the so-called "reality of things", but above this "reality" the inner experiencing of every person will rise under the pressure of the Light

To a lesser or a greater part this experiencing will become for him decisive for all outward comprehension and also for outward action

A great part of people will thereby finally be compelled to think, to speak and to act according to their spiritual maturity, and above all according to the degree of purity of the ethereal covering of their soul

There will be struck outwards from them that which has truly ripened spiritually within them

The intellect, which has hitherto interfered in this and thereby partly blurred the differences between people, will have to stand aside as incapable of changing anything outwardly in the visible expression of people

People who bear within themselves a too heavily burdened covering of the soul will experience ever more the need to hasten forward, for they will see that they are exposed to the necessity of living out and laying aside a great quantity of threads

Those who stand inwardly higher will then perceive more peacefulness and peace, and will be able to draw upon their past experiences, towards which they will be drawn by the adjustment of their soul, according to how far and into which ethereal parts their soul is able to ascend, that soul which for the duration of existence in the Subsequent Creation is inseparable from themselves

Thereby the difference between people will become ever more visible, in proportion as the shifting in time and space increases in the present conditions of the universe

Everyone, however, can use this period of accelerated happening for an unprecedented spiritual progress

A great quantity of Power is reaching him already today

In the highest inner striving to attain an all-embracing volition for good every person can raise himself high upwards towards the luminous planes

The Power will bear him thither of itself, if he enables his spirit to express itself wholly in its fundamental adjustment as a pure flame

In the volition for good lies the true starting point for the laying aside of all degrees of burden of the human soul

To become free in the coming streaming of the forces can be so easy that many a person will be astonished when he recognises how simple it was in reality

He needs only to free himself from everything which burdens him through the ingrained habits of those faults and blemishes of the human soul which cause evil

Something of this kind is possible under the condition of a living, fervent wish to do everything for the attaining of purity and harmony in thinking and in acting

We may therefore say that with the coming shift in the perceiving of time and space there is offered

to every person an immeasurably great opportunity to change himself for the better

The accelerated happening brings the possibility of an advance in the ennobling of one's inner as well as outer activity during life on Earth

Uniting oneself with the streaming Power of God in this time of great transformations on Earth is the best way towards a significant advance in the development of all life

The time of heightened pressure in all the happening is the vanguard of the coming of the new age, in which the pressure that presses and sifts will change into an immense supporting inflow of forces destined for development and building up

We stand only a little way before this turning point of development, which holds transformations so great that even today people cannot picture to themselves how very new the way of life on Earth will become

But it will come

It is even possible to say that this is an unshakable certainty, as when after the night the dawn of a new day comes

It will be a period of an undreamt-of exhalation and release for that life which of its very nature always clung to the accord with the great Harmony of the work of Creation

The release will come because all the forces formed out of the blemishes and faults of human volition will be removed by the judging and sifting pressure, so that they may no longer disturb the rest of life

Thereby all the predispositions of those people who bear within themselves a readiness for the building up of the new life, without as yet knowing of it today, will more easily come into their own

Their awakening will come like the unexpected blazing up of an all-overpowering enthusiasm for a pure and harmonious life
