The Closing of the Great Circle

The great circle which holds within itself millions of years draws near to its fulfilment
The courses of the heavenly bodies, describing the far-distant radii of their circles, are now being crossed by the flying Messenger of the Light
The Messenger of the Light, announcing the coming of the great happening in the materialities, rushes with a roar through the distances of the universe, in order at last to fulfil the calling that was impressed upon the nature of his kind at his birth
The radiation of this Messenger of the Light has for some years already been touching the surface of the Earth and summons all things to quickening and to transformation
Beneath his rays the servants bow, the beings of every kind who work in the world of nature
Everything is gaining a new likeness, and that which held good until now may already be called the past
The herald of Parzival's coming is near, and his nature now draws matter to itself with magnetic power, so that of a sudden this herald may become visible even to the earthly sight of men
This Messenger does not come as a heavenly body out of the depths of the universe, for he has another core, which raises him to be a ruler among the stars
He is of another kind, of another nature, and only in his place in the nearness of the solar system does he begin to draw to himself the matter which is to bring about his becoming visible
Thus he will become visible little by little, as when a curtain falls
The radiance of the sun, which itself already draws new strength from the nearness of this Messenger of the Light, will touch his material covering and set it aglow in a strange, mysterious shining
Apollo, as the administrator of the disc of the sun, greets this Messenger with his strengthened radiance
The Messenger of the Light will soon circle in a great circle in the heavens by night and by day also, and announce the coming of Parzival
The announcement of the closing of one great stage of mankind is not far off
The subconscious haste awakening in men is quickened, and it will grow ever stronger
The close companions of this growing haste, which accompany it immediately, are rootlessness and distrust
The striving to overtake what cannot be overtaken is the unconscious pressure of all that the human spirit owes in redemption for the thousands of years of his working upon this Earth
Yet it is not possible to repay any of it otherwise than by a wholehearted turning towards pure and just dealing with one's fellow-men
Only this rebirth within oneself, in the setting forth upon the path of true humanity, will bring calm
Yet even this setting forth upon the path is only a preliminary step to the true transformation of man, who now needs to acknowledge and to receive the Son Whom God the Father has sent, so that in the closing of one great cycle He may bring a new prospect of life for the coming generations upon this Earth
They will be other generations
They will be generations of men permeated in the first place by spiritual intuitive perception
They will be generations of men holding in their possession the sacred recognition of the Truth about the meaning of their being, and the recognition of the exalted tidings out of the heights of the Light
They will be generations of spirits returning to the Earth, who are acknowledged by Parzival in the Just Judgment of the Light as worthy to continue their blessed development in a blissful striding upwards towards the true wisdom of the human spirit
They will be blessed human beings, swinging unceasingly in harmony with the Light
