The Circles of the Peaceful – the Sign of the New Time

Now all is transformed and recast in an increasing pressure which, however, is in part still hidden from the earthly eyes of man

In the streaming of the Light which has drawn near to the earth, so that at this time of the Festival of the Radiant Star a further strengthening of the radiance of the Ray of Parzival might be anchored in the materialities, the working of the faithful animistic servants has again advanced, whereby their work will become ever more visible and more tangible for man on earth

It will no longer be possible at all to say that the happenings which come about are merely the work of chance and that in fact nothing is happening

The turning-point of the age which is beginning to take place in the present days now unfolding will be more evident and more visible to everyone who wishes but a little to perceive the unusualness of this time upon earth

We stand not long before the fulfilment of happenings which in their likeness will be near to the events in the times of Moses in Egypt

Just as in that time liberation was promised to a small nation which suffered in subjection, so today this time is promised as the moment of ascent for all men in the world who long with their whole inner being to direct themselves towards the Light

Yet how many men today really long to be led out of the slavery in which they find themselves, not unlike the slaves of old who for a small share of wages suffered the monotony of the unfolding days, in which work alternated with an empty rest, without anyone being granted the possibility of an inward soaring and of the happiness bound up with it

The everyday monotony has become for a great number of men something which they live without being aware that they have made their own spiritual spark the slave of an earthly world ruled by the intellect

The spirit of man is entirely severed from his home which lies in the Light, and he bows in humiliation under the hard whip of the intellect, clasped in fetters out of which he no longer has the strength to free himself

And precisely the strengthening Light now brings the severing of these fetters, it brings the connection with the ancient memories of the spirit of the blissful spheres of Creation

This liberation will now be preceded by the shaking of the dominion of the intellect upon earth

The happenings which now draw near from the animistic servants and from the spiritual helpers and which bear within themselves liberation and salvation for the cleansed human spirit will be perceived by the majority of the inhabitants of the earthly world as surprising and in part hostile, for there is here a great part of those who in fact do not even wish to be liberated and led out of the slavery in which they find themselves

They are those who have sold themselves to the intellect and accepted their subjection to the darkness, which, watching with mockery their terrible spiritual fall, held them for millennia in the intoxication of the supposition that it is they who rule

Yet there is no greater distortion of reality than this foolish supposition of men that it is they who rule if they are guided by their cultivated intellect

In reality the intellect can never rule, for if it is not under the refreshing guidance of the spiritual man, it slips at once into the subjection of the darkness, which under the rule of Lucifer purposefully mastered the intellect and appropriated it for its own kind of working

In reality therefore there ruled upon earth for millennia only the dominion of the darkness, to which all in the world of men subjected itself through the intellect fettered to matter

Many men made this their own and voluntarily, through their polishing of the intellect, became willing satellites of the darkness upon earth

Of such men there are great hosts upon earth, and through them the darkness holds influence and power over other men and endeavours in strong hostility to oppose all that is more luminous

A great number there are of these men who will now endeavour to muster themselves in hatred against the Light as its greatest open opponents and enemies

Under the pressure of the Light they will have to confess openly their hatred against all that is connected with the pure spiritual spark in man

A further great host is that part of men who will be taken unawares by the coming happening, for they belong to the sleeping, who never recognise wherein lies the despair which fills their lives, because they too are in part subjected through the intellect to the darkness

Although in their inner being they are not entirely bad, their faith in the victory of the intellect and at the same time their mistrust towards all that is spiritual is great

They too will now waver in the experiencing of the happenings which come for the liberation and for the help only of those men who are open with a childlike pure spirit

The wavering will now experience a great inward struggle, and many of them, alas, will at last even join the mentioned satellites belonging to the darkness

For all these who have become devoted instruments of the darkness, but also for those who still waver, that liberating happening does not come

It draws near only for those who inwardly wish through their own exertion and their own highest movement to raise themselves higher, so that their spiritual inner being may wholly experience the connection with the Light

Only for those does the announced happening come, and only they will be able rightly to recognise it, so that they may be fully strengthened and liberated

The Light brings strengthening and liberation only for the men who in trust are inwardly open to the Will of God, which works inseparably in the Ray of Parzival

For all the others the same stream of Light in the Ray of Parzival will bring pressure, it will bring the sharpening of their weaknesses and of their faults and thereby will evoke only unrest, anger and hatred, which will whirl up in their thoughts and also upon the plane of their soul

Many also will not be able to be liberated, for they of themselves remain subjected to all the degrading evil and do not wish to be liberated

That they do not wish to free themselves is testified by their lukewarmness, for otherwise they would already have stepped forth with their striving to meet the Light and its helping happening

They, however, wish to remain united with all that has been hitherto, that is, with that which can never endure in the streaming pressure of the Light for the pure renewal of life

Like the wavering and the rejecting, who in part were also found in the host of the people of Moses, they will have to remain standing in those places which are to be struck by strong tremors and by unexpected events in the animistic working

Those who already stride forward may be free of all this, yet only then if they do not themselves halt upon the way they have already entered upon in the transformation towards the better

To stride forward in the pure striving for the Light, that is now the condition for the drawing near of the liberating helps to man

The key to liberation lies in the inward volition of each one of men

Those who wish to be saved need in the highest measure to draw near of themselves to the vibrations of the purest Light

Therefore they need every day to unfold out of themselves all their forces, if they do not wish at the last moment to grow lukewarm and to become rigid in the pure spiritual volition upon the way to the spiritual home

If, however, they walk the ways of pure humanity and bear within their inner being the trust in the help of God, then they will always be recognised by the animistic servants, who have now received from Parzival the empowering to take part in the coming happening in the sifting of all the hosts upon earth

The time which is being fulfilled brings a shift in which everyone needs to manifest himself and to declare himself for that which truly lives within his inner being

It is either an earnest declaring of oneself for the Light or a strengthened volition towards the dark

It can also still be a complete indifference towards all that is of another kind than the purely material world

And precisely this indifference, springing from the lukewarmness of the spirit, is that which afflicts in this earnest time upon earth the greatest part of men

For every attitude of man to life, however, the Light brings the answer in an unavertable happening

Every direction now bears a marking on the part of the Light, and thereby all the servants in Creation sift the world of men, for according to this everyone will now be dealt with in the coming working

For those who are of a pure heart and who bear within themselves an inward unflagging liveliness in the striving upwards to the Light, it is here possible to bring helping outlooks

They are to be led out of a slavery lasting thousands of years, they are to be those to whom one day the promised Land of the new cleansed life will be shown

It is, however, the condition for these outlooks that the inward conviction be firm and clear, for many events will bring moments for the proving of whether that striving in the inner being is really meant earnestly and with full conviction

If this is so, then every further step which is fulfilled by men with sufficient inward courage and conviction and which is really brought into the world of gross matter as a deed will bring them a manifold strengthening of inward joy and happiness

A thousandfold helping power will flow to such men

There will also be able to come to them an increased luminous inspiration for their striding through life, even in the smallest things

The animistic servants and the spiritual helpers of all degrees will be able to bring an increased radiation of the Light into the nearness of these men who are living and convinced in their inner being, so that these may gradually become firm beacons for all seekers

They are to be prepared for this, so that they may not take fright when all this begins to stream to them in full power from all sides

We stand in a time of great turning-points, such as mankind has already stood in several times upon this earth

Now, however, this turning-point in the hitherto development of each one is entirely decisive for his further being

Every new day can bring that moment in which it is decided for his further being, and thereby his ways will begin to unfold ever more swiftly to the one side or to the other

Either upwards to the Light or downwards into the devouring distances of the darkness

Very soon the time will change, and with the new year a new year-reckoning will begin to unfold

For this year-reckoning there is here a great opportunity of ascent for each of those men who are awakened in spirit, or who will yet awaken and declare themselves for Truth and for the Light

And just as a small number of the host of Moses did in the decisive moments of the working of the animistic servants, so likewise it is possible for the Circles of the Peaceful of today to step forth to meet a particular kind of protection and of blessing

At the time when men await the coming of the three kings at the edge of the beginning year, it is the custom to paint with chalk above the door of the house the signs of the initial letters of the three kings and the year

This year it is possible to make a change, and above the door of their house those men who bear within themselves the conviction of the Truth and of the Light may write, beginning with this date of the three kings, something else which through its reminder will be able to bring them strengthening and protection

It is the cross in the circle, which in the inward humble opening of one's spirit may be painted with chalk above the entrance door instead of the customary initial letters of the three kings

The equal-armed cross in the circle with the date of the year 2021, which will very soon begin to unfold for the further life upon earth

This is to be the quiet marking of all who wish to belong to the Circles of the Peaceful and who bear within themselves the conviction that this declaring of theirs should become visible

Visible it is to be not only for the eyes of men, but through our decision to take the chalk in hand and to draw the mentioned marking above the door we give a sign also for all the spiritual helpers and animistic servants, in whose working this sign brings a summons to the protection of such a place and of those who dwell there

The condition for this, however, must be that the inhabitants of a place thus marked strive within themselves lastingly for inward purity and for noble dealings towards other men

In the first place, however, there is to dwell in such a place the reverence for God

If it will be possible to find unity in such a place, then the radiation descending to it will bring to all blessing and protection for the coming time

The equal-armed cross is to become a visible sign which will become established for men in their thinking as the form of a sign of God, which brings for all happening a movement in the sharp sifting of good from evil, so that thereafter blessing may descend everywhere where good dwells in the inner beings of men as lastingly and clearly visible

It is an earnest step which needs to be fully experienced in the inner being of man and to be accepted wholly with conviction

This requires in many places with men a still hastened ripening towards this decision

Therefore let the coming Festival of the Radiant Star be used for this ripening, which in its connection with the Light can mediate helping streams of forces for the progress in the volition of those who long to declare themselves for the Circles of the Peaceful

For many a one there is held in readiness in this year's Festival the needful strengthening, so that he may attain to the courageous step of standing henceforth in all things fully in harmony with the Will of the Light

This courage will bring him the helping connection with the Ray of Parzival, and thereby the blessing of the Grail will be able to incline to him in all the moments of his days upon this earth and also upon his further ways, when one day he will be able to continue in the finer worlds upwards to the gates into the home of the blissful human spirits in the luminous worlds of the spiritual Paradise

Woe, however, to those who would wish to misuse this marking in their cunning in the knowledge of its protecting radiation

To such the misuse of this sign would then bring only a hastening of the end

Only there, where the inward and the outward striving of man accords with the blessing which the equal-armed cross in the circle bears within itself, only there will this sign bring grace-filled blessing and protection

The sign of the time which is coming will be precisely the equal-armed cross in the circle, which even today is almost unknown to the majority of mankind

This, however, will change, and men will swiftly recognise what blessed power is bound up with this cross

Men are to recognise the enlivening radiation streaming through the blessed sign of the cross of the Light

After no long time a great number of men will wish to flee to this sign of the equal-armed cross in the circle

So that their ways may draw purely and hopefully near to the liberation and to the help coming in the working of the Ray of Parzival, the Circles of the Peaceful are now to raise themselves in courage to a noble stepping forth and to a visible avowal of the Light

Let all these receive into their inner being, for this courage of their spirit, as much loving strengthening as possible in the time of the coming Festival of the Radiant Star

Through Creation there descend the streams of the Love of God for everyone who has prepared his inner being in the courage to be a helper of the Light upon earth in this so very earnest time of the Holy Judgment
