The Circles of the Peaceful – the Effects of the Sieve of Great Changes

The pressure of the Light which works in the happenings upon the earth shows itself as a sieve which in its movement will bring repeated waves of events

We are still only at the beginning of the first sweep of this sieve

Its meshes are also still passable for a great part of men

Yet every new movement will at the same time bring a closer meshing of this immeasurably wide sieve of God, and will thereby set aside an ever greater and greater portion of men, as those who will not behold the beginning of the new life upon the purified earthly plain

This sieve is and at the same time is not a judging one, for it will gather up human souls in great hosts in order to bring them to the places where the exalted animistic servant Sthyx will show them whither they are to go upon their further ways

For the one part it will be the way downwards, into the depths, wherein they are to find the answer for their hitherto existing manner of being

For them the grasp of the sieve is indeed a judging stroke, severing them from that course of the rest of life in Creation which is blessed by the Mercy of God

These are the grains sown by the hand of the great sower which upon the path of their development have of their own will become spoiled

The others will then be led by the direction appointed for them upwards, that they may come to the places of the ethereal planes where their more luminous soul will be permitted to dwell, until they may return to the earth in order that under purified earthly conditions they may be allowed to complete their progress towards maturity in hastened measure, and thereafter to ascend into the planes of the blessed home of the spirits

These others are they who belong to the seeds of the spirit in which the germ of the spiritual spark has not yet wholly withered nor become stunted

Not all, therefore, who have left and who will still leave this earth under the working of the sieve are evil ones who by their departure from the earth have necessarily come, or will come, immediately under the destroying stroke of the judging sword of God

To depart from this earth does not therefore always mean to be condemned at once to rejection, but it is only the first part of the effect of the pressure of the Light, which drives all things forward in a sudden happening that now brings movement into the hitherto sleeping flow of life upon the earth

The mighty Hareiars and his strong helpers now bring movement into this sieve, which in its sweeps cannot discern the state of individual men unless these have already by their radiance swung themselves up to that degree where a high protection of the spiritual kind shines above them

Only to such can support be given, that they may pass again and again unharmed through the single sweeps of the sieve

Thus after several sweeps of this sieve with its unheard-of effects there will at last remain upon the earth a host of such men as may only then truly be called humble and sufficiently open in their intuitive perception, for they will be brought to this state by the experiencing which will take place around them and within them

They will be men who in the struggle of their inner being let the spirit conquer over the hereditary sin, over that rank overgrowth of intellect which is a part of every man of today

And it is the pressure of the Light which brings the movement that will now drive all men ever more swiftly, so that they show themselves either as able to overcome the influence of the baneful hereditary sin which today still pervades the greatest part of human conduct and thinking, or else that they show themselves as those who must depart in this time

The Ray of the radiation of Parzival now brings a heightening of the forces which help the high animistic servants to an activity in such measure as the men of today have not hitherto known, precisely in order that help may be given to prune away in hastened measure the rank overgrowth of the intellect in the conduct of man

In the working which is to come there is always joined, together with the heavy experiences, a helping radiation full of grace for the strengthened awakening of the intuitive perception, so that in human endeavour a true humility before the Creator and before His primordially eternal, wise Will may begin to awaken

In the coming happening which is yet to arrive there is contained all that is needful, so that the high animistic substantiality, like unto a sieve, may draw out of the waters of mankind upon the earth all that is spiritual, which will thereafter be sorted

The sorting does not lie in the mere withdrawal of the claim to a continuation of the life here, but it fulfils itself only after the departure from this earthly world

This happening thus comes to pass to the joy of the one host, which in its preservation may continue further upon the path of its development, and to the weeping and the fury of the other host, which is pressed ever more and more downwards into the depths, whither belongs all that is not able to better itself, for it has already stifled within itself everything that may be called a vibration of good

The one host is made up of a small number of the risen and the blessed, who are permitted to ascend even unto the home of the mature spirits, and also of a great number of the joyful, who upon their way must indeed still manifest more radiance of their spirit in ripening, but to whom, thanks to the present luminosity of their pure and good volition, the hope of a further existence remains

Yet the stream of those who have well-nigh no hope is, immediately after the departure from this earth, pressed into the current over which the exalted Sthyx holds sway, and by this current it is borne, with a swiftness to which Hareiars adds his strengthening, down into the depths, into the nearness of ethereal disintegration itself

Only few sparks in this second sorrowful stream will yet awaken, that at the last moment they may long for the Light of God and the Goodness of God

Thus, while under the heightened power these two streams are sorted and divided at the threshold of the beyond into the good and sound, or into the evil and rotten fruits of the spirit, there will meanwhile be repeated upon the earth ever new sweeps of the sieve of God

The experiencing of these sweeps will be hard and will crush many a man, who will at last forget his own pride and conceit, so that in the end only his intuitive perception will remain, which in the plea for the help of God will open itself to the helping currents full of love which the Ray of the radiation of Parzival also inseparably contains

And it is precisely the Circles of the Peaceful who are to pass through these events consciously and with the trust that their luminous protection will not expose them to an experiencing which would have to strike them more than will be needful

They will be able to pass through it all with an inward clarity and with the knowledge that from the very beginning they surrendered themselves wholly into the arms of the mercy of God, and their claims will not bear within them even one particle more than will be needful for their pure and sound life upon the earth

Thereby they will shape the form of a new earthly humanity, a form which will gradually be taken over by other men who under the repeated sweeps of the sieve will be permitted to be preserved, that they may bring their spirit to clarity in their present earthly body

It will bring much experiencing, yet no one need fear, for now nothing will come to pass which does not stand under the working of the Wisdom of God

The words will find their fulfilment that not even a hair falls from the head of man without its being at the same time willed out of the Will of God

Pure therefore, like the clear sheen of the surface of a lake, is the inner being of man to be, so that the Will of God may find nothing upon him which would have to be struck by the close knots of the sieve, which would then at once lead the man aside, that he might not create here upon the earth hindrances in the movement towards the new age of a purified humanity

Much will yet have to be transformed in the thinking of men, that they may be able to grasp all that the Light ordains for them, and how wisely and how exaltedly its ways are led, ways which from the earthly standpoint often appear harsh and wounding

In reality the most precious thing, upon which for the human spirit the further being or not-being now depends, is his fervent intuitive perception, risen again in the recognition of the Greatness of God

The Wisdom of God and Love look always upon the true spiritual goal of man, and lead all things lovingly towards this goal

This goal and the way leading to it are perfectly described in the Words of the Son of God Jesus, and at the same time also in the Word of Truth given to mankind by Imanuel, the Son of Man
