Since the moment when the Circles of Joining with the animistic herdsmen were mentioned, a number of people have been occupying themselves with how they may join in the great cooperation for the change of the world for the better

They seek how they themselves may join with the weavers of the threads, the Alphar, who have hitherto remained for most people unknown servants, because there had not yet been spoken of them down to the finest gradations, so that men might comprehend how very closely their work is bound up with the earthly world here

Because it had not hitherto been spoken of wholly from the beginning to the end, and also because they were not known otherwise than by the general designation as the weavers of the threads, their present drawing near appears to a great part of men too new and unknown

That however is only for the reason that the right time for it had not yet come

It comes only now, so that this knowledge may gradually come among men to a greater familiarity, as is the way here on Earth

But this time there is no room of many years given for it, such as men in their hesitancy have grown accustomed to with new knowledge from the Light

The knowledge needs to be worked through and turned to use for everyday life in the highest alertness of the spirit without delay

The widening knowledge of the work of Creation draws near, in proportion to the gravity of the time, as a help granted at the last moment, which needs to be received without the usual initial hesitations and rejections

That which should already have been for men a knowledge used in everyday time is now afforded as a saving help and a way out at the last hour, just before the coming of that decisive period which is designated as the Holy Judgment of God over mankind

Men need to have this knowledge absorbed into their spirit, for it may be called a necessary equipment and armour, so that their spirit, together with all the knowledge which it has received in the Grail Message, may work freshly with it and become a living fellow worker with the Light

That this is not yet so, that is, that men who have the Grail Message in their hands would be wholly in accord with the happening from the Light, is surely clearly proved by every further day upon this Earth

Men are to become, as a help, still more closely acquainted with that which after all so nearly surrounds them from the beginning of their way, whereas they themselves have hitherto known nothing more of it than that out of their volition the carpet of fate is woven by the hands of the weavers, in which there is found everything that was ever called into life by man through the volition of his free will

Of the weavers of the threads, then, men who have the knowledge of the work In the Light of Truth have read, or have heard of it, but they have never formed for themselves any clearer picture of them

This because the knowledge of it was too far removed from their measure of attention

It is because men far too often devote their concentration to side issues which in reality have no great value

While to the most precious knowledge, most profitable for the spiritual way, they will not give even a portion of the time which they then thoughtlessly and without hesitation devote to the ordinary trivialities of life

Thus the knowledge of the weavers remains only in a kind of dim inkling, if a picture can be called forth at all

Yet many do know that in the work of Creation there is nothing without form, that nothing happens just so, without a clear interlinking with ever further connections, which are like a great mechanism and which give a clear survey of the course of Creation in the fulfilling of the effects of all the lawful manifestations of the Will of God

If the human spirit really willed but a little, he would already stand fully conscious with a clear knowledge of all the glorious happenings which in the Subsequent Creation work above all for him as fairy-tale-like effective fulfilments of everything that he lives through in his striving towards the Light and for which his spirit longs in a pure attunement

He would see in it clearly and distinctly the wise hand of the Loving-Kindness of God, which already at the very beginning gave to all this a clear original foundation, so that at the right moment there might arise in the gardens of Asgard beneath Valhalla the great hosts of all the helpers who throughout all time work around all men in order to lead them by the just Laws either to the benefit of their development or also to their destruction, if they themselves in their base decisions set themselves against the flowing of the stream of life and against the Harmony of the Will of God in the work of Creation

Occasions for earnest examining and reflection are always in sufficiency

Thus the individual man as well as the whole of mankind needs only to devote his strength to the right seeking of the way upward through the Subsequent Creation

And this occasion earthly mankind first missed already millennia ago, when men, instead of the way of spiritual knowledge, chose the way of the intellect leading under the rule of Lucifer into the lowlands, and since then they have done so many times more, whenever something more of the glorious prospect of the knowledge of the work of Creation and of the lawful happening unfolding within it reached the Earth

All these prospects sooner or later remained without comprehension and thereby also without use, which would have brought back to the human spirit only great blessing and ascent

The last time men did so blasphemously was when they had in their midst, anchored in an earthly body, the Ray of Parzival and thereafter the Ray of Imanuel

As it shows itself, this truly came about even in the moment when all the promises from the Light were fulfilled and the Truth was brought to this Earth by Parzival himself from the highest places of the Grail, indeed also the fulfilments themselves by Imanuel

Of the great gift of the Will of God not even the smallest thing is turned to use that was bestowed upon human spirits in earthly bodies through the Grail Message

Although the Truth has been on Earth for a longer time already, it remains lying fallow, without being turned to use for the everyday life of men

Above the present host of those who have received the knowledge of the Truth, there hovers the question – is it perhaps to be the same as in the case of the Son of God Jesus, when the men of that time also comprehended of the Word of Truth brought by Him only the most remote pieces and fragments, and these they moreover twisted and debased in the course of the centuries

In answer there resounds the mighty roaring of the Light – this time it will not come to pass, for the pressure of the Light will no longer permit the Truth bestowed upon mankind to remain without a due appreciation by the human spirit

The appreciation will be enforced by the intensified effects of all the Laws which surround the human spirit and do not permit him to go any other way than either in the direction of the knowledge of the Truth or towards disinheritance

Yet it need not have been so, but men always of themselves choose freely the direction which now, at the height of the Judgment, must show itself through many visible consequences as a direction that is wrong and false, and thereby also, for many of those who have succumbed to it and become its admirers, as a direction destroying their spirit

It is painful to realise that even the present time, with all the manifestations of the swiftly growing happening of the Judgment of God, is no exception in this, but only a confirmation that even with the received knowledge of the Truth in the Grail Message earthman is unable to walk rightly through life, for the hesitant spirit is hindered in it by the persisting ill-fated influence of the intellect

This needs to be changed with all speed, so that the preparation for the passage from the old into the new may be accomplished

The human spirit needs at last to rouse himself once and to begin to work joyfully, as is his mission in the materialities from the beginning of the arising of the Subsequent Creation

For this passage, however, there remains no longer much time, and therefore it will in the end demand the utmost exertion from everyone who longs to stand firm in it and not to be lost with his spirit in the gears of the past

In the end it will be a great struggle for the time of every further day granted to man for the making good of all that has been delayed

But even today, when this is mentioned, it calls forth in the human inner being no more than a faint stirring of something remote, which is not able to change the setting of one's life

The faint stirring then quickly passes, and of the partial awareness of spiritual gravity there remains almost nothing

So it is, sadly, with many people, and the so greatly needed rousing of oneself to a higher exertion is then lacking with almost everyone

But let us now leave all this aside and return to that which brings joy and hope, namely to the animistic working in the Subsequent Creation

Let us then now go back to that earnest and thereby also precious interest awakened in some people in the matter of joining with the animistic Alphar, who are called the weavers of human fate

In another connection there is again spoken of the Alphar, who are designated as the animistic herdsmen of the unconsciously animistic life

At first sight there are thus several kinds of these weavers, which appear not wholly clear to distinguish for the as yet unaccustomed eye of the earnest observer

It is therefore needful to go step by step once more from the basic starting point and to recall here again that the Alphar, as one uniform species of the servants of Valhalla in the Subsequent Creation, are those who weave all the threads for the development of all life in the Subsequent Creation

That is the fundamental thing which lies in their kind of service

Directly beneath this basic kind of service, which is born in the highest places of the gardens of Asgard, the original stream of the weavers divides into yet further finer kinds, each of which has entrusted to it for itself its own wholly definite kind of working

In the human conception of today's world it might be said that these are specialists for this or that field, in which everything must be fulfilled independently so that, brought together again, it may be interlinked into one uniform whole of the great harmony of life, fitting completely into itself

In animistic creating it is always so, that the particulars even of the smallest kind join together, and in this joining they interpenetrate and complete one another and thus form a whole which always bears only the manifestations of the perfection of an entire accord

Men have this after all before their eyes in small whenever they look upon the world of nature around them, where the Alphar work precisely as weavers in one of the sections of their activity

And here perhaps someone will object that in nature it is after all the beings of the elements who work – the Dwarfs, and also for example the beings who tend the plants, whom we again know as the Elves, and that it is these who form the outward world of nature which with its lasting glory surrounds earthman here on Earth

That naturally holds good, but first, for everything that is formed by the said executing beings of the elements, by the Elves and by many others of whom men today again know nothing, there were stretched out, even before the gross material forming, the threads which are the result of the weaving of radiation from the working of the Alphar, from whose hands there arose the prototypes of an astral kind, out of which vitality then poured over, through the mediation of further animistic servants, into gross matter itself for its enlivening

The Alphar are the weavers of those threads out of which there then arises that real present, directly lived through by earthman, in this gross material world, just as one day the present of the places prepared beforehand for him and formed in the finer planes of matter, again by the Alphar, will be lived through by his soul coverings

The Alphar are thus, through their weaving, the preparers of worlds in the Subsequent Creation, for which they naturally make use of a perfect knowledge of the properties of the substances which the hands of the Dwarfs and of further animistic servants, sent out by Valhalla for the preparation of the elementary building particles of matter, have made ready for them

The Alphar, as masterly knowers of the properties of these substances and also knowers of the commission of what is to be formed out of them for the attaining of a faithful reflection of the beauty of God in Creation, weave the astral threads so that everything may be made ready for realisation

Out of their work there thus arose the gross material universe, which together with the Earth and everything found upon it swung in its pure virginity as the attainable reflection of the perfection of God in this part of the Subsequent Creation

So it was until the time when the human spirit with his free will entered into the planes of the Subsequent Creation, in order to develop here towards maturity

With the entry of the human spirit the weaving of the Alphar changed, for into their work there began gradually to penetrate the threads of volition from men

These threads are not woven by the Alphar directly, but are formed by the Vaenen, who work in the vicinity of every man in order to be the first to catch his volition and to work it into the threads which are led, according to the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species, to the places where by their kind they belong

In these places it is the Alphar who then take hold of the threads and form the ethereal shapes of worlds corresponding to the consequences of volition as these are judged by the Law of the Justice of God

And from these places there then stretch further threads which are bound up with the human spirit on Earth, if on his ways he has received the grace of incarnation into a gross material body

Right here, into gross materiality, there then penetrates a portion of the radiation from the threads out of which the personal Alphar assigned to every human spirit weave the initial conditions for

the way through a further earthly life

However much this may appear in description as a complicated and seemingly many-layered happening, there is in reality contained in it a complete simplicity which works at every moment with perfect precision

To the species of the servants, of the Vaenen and of the Alphar, there belongs the utmost pride in their promptness in activity, with which they always immediately catch every new stirring of man's volition, in order to bring it under the effect of the Justice of God, and in it then incorruptibly to weave exactly that which determines the further way of development of the human spirit

In this there is contained for them everything for which they came into being and for which they also work in the work of Creation

Their work does not weary them, nor does it give them a single ground for deviating from the essence of their species, for they themselves are permeated in heightened measure by the Will of God

By their species they are thus near to the beings of the Angels, who carry out the same weaving and forming in all places in the Primordial Creation itself, which from above downward is first of primordially spiritual and then of spiritual origin

The difference in the activity of the Vaenen and of the Alphar from the beings of the Angels lies in the different density of the materialities in which the weavers in the Subsequent Creation work, and which, unlike the spiritual worlds, always causes a certain delay in the manifesting of the consequence of radiated volition

But this has precisely its reason, for in the delay showing itself in the individual planes of the Subsequent Creation there lies the Love of God, which affords to the human sparks room for a transformation for the better before the consequence of previous wrong decisions and volitions overtakes them

At the moment when the human spiritual sparks began to develop through their volition and their desires towards the knowing of the work of Creation, the Vaenen had to come as the watchful and incorruptible weavers of these stirrings of volition and desire, in order to prepare for the Alphar the original radiation, so that the free will of the human spirit might be projected into the development of the individual planes

Thus also this seemingly motionless world of the earthly material manifestation of gross matter is woven for its development through the volition of the majority of men who appear here successively in their incarnations on Earth

This naturally needs to be perceived over a longer span of time, but this world too, with everything that appears in nature and in the surrounding universe, adapts itself as a consequence of the manifested human consciousness and volition, which is always woven as the consequence of successive generations

There is thus woven in by the Alphar into the appearance of the material manifestation of the world and of nature, in part, also that which reflects in itself the entire spiritual state of men

Hence that decline going on for millennia already

Let us consider that there appeared on Earth species of animals and plants which the present world no longer even knows and which were here before man

Then again in the time of flowering, in the age of the first, still childlike pure men on Earth, there were here yet other conditions with other creatures and plants, and now everything only narrows and grows impoverished as a consequence of the blasphemous turning aside from the original way marked out by God

Since its beginning the Earth has had to sink a great part lower than it stood at its beginning

The Alphar, who are the weavers of the outward earthly conditions, manifest in an admirable manner, in the longer-term consequence, the state of maturity of the human spirit such as he brings into this Earth

With the Alphar men could thus be the greatest fellow workers in their conscious working for their own spiritual way and also for the development of life on Earth as a whole

The more conscious the forming on the part of men, the more direct could be the effect upon the transformation of the outward world in its concentration upon the result

Not as the manifestation of a deliberate asserting of one's own volition, but as a cooperation filled with fervour in the weaving of pure glory, for which the Will of God has always at hand inexhaustible springs of forms of beauty and gracefulness

With the Alphar who belong to the animistic herdsmen men can join through those Alphar who belong to the weavers of their way of fate and thereby of their development in the Subsequent Creation

But even this explanation does not suffice, for it is needful first to bring closer how men can cooperate with the Alphar in the very foundation of their activity

Many suppose that this is not possible, for both the herdsmen and the weavers of the threads of fate and the formers of the present in man's life do not fall under his influence, but always serve solely and exclusively the Will of God

Nevertheless it is possible, indeed it is directly desirable

How this is possible is explained by the very essence of the human spirit in the Subsequent Creation, which however needs to swing wholly in its own service

This service is the pure, unalloyed spiritual joy radiated into the planes here as thanks to the Light and to the Creator

In this lies the very foundation of the spirit's work for everything else

If in this the spirit is fulfilling, then everything else works for him

It is truly so, and there is nothing else in it than that the foundation for all volition in man needs to unfold out of a pure attunement of thankful joy

If it is said that in this everything lies, then there is also contained in it the possibility of joining with the animistic herdsmen, who can then form the threads for a healthy and fresh world which brings to all creatures only blessing and a refreshing of their present

It is thus in reality truly the simplest thing that man can bring for this world

But here lies precisely the great pitfall

Because it is so simple, it is at the same time immensely difficult for the intellectual man of today

He must after all have the impression of complexity and of effort in his doings, and if this complexity and effort are lacking, there is at once aroused in him a mistrust of the certainty of the right way and above all a mistrust of the result

Where complexity, exactingness and the need for strong concentration of thought are lacking, there everywhere for the intellectual man the obstacle of mistrust of the result at once sets itself in the way

The intellectual man bears within himself, out of the essence of the intellect itself, a mistrust of everything plain and simple

For everything that is to bring success in the connection with the animistic servants and in the accord with the whole work of Creation, there holds good on the part of man, as the complete foundation, the inward pure radiance of joyful trust in the wisdom of God's Loving-Kindness

Yet precisely this notion leads the intellectual man of today to mockery and rejection, for he needs everything many times more complicated, more overwrought and more tangled, so that only then may he begin to assert himself in it with his intellect in the splitting of a simple whole into particulars

But from this precisely every individual and mankind as a whole now needs to free itself

We may say that it must do so, otherwise destruction threatens it

There is in this no other possible development than a complete deepening of fervour in the inner being, which through its liveliness will again win for itself the dominion over all baseness in man and also the dominion over the cold, self-seeking intellect

This is not a warning, this is a blow for every single spirit, for in the threads of the Alphar there now draws near to every man the blinding Light of the Ray of Parzival, so as to judge him unexpectedly in the fulfilment of the promise of God

If man therefore wishes at last to find his place for a right working, willed by God, here in the Subsequent Creation, and thereby at last to begin to cooperate with the other servants who weave around him the threads determining the development of his ways, then he must begin with the first step, which lies in the pure giving of the radiation of his spirit for the weaving of the Vaenen, which can then return in accelerated course to him himself through the threads of fate formed by the hands of the Alphar

The first step lies in the renewal of one's simple faculty of radiating into space joyful and pure streams out of one's spirit

This radiating of purity and joy is to become the sacred hour of an inward prayer which, borne by the hands of the weavers, flies upward through space and at the same time gives a portion of spiritual substance for the forming of all the threads needed for the bettering of the world in the bringing of peace and harmony to all the places where pain and suffering now dwell

The giving which is radiated in this on the part of the human spirit rests upon trust in God's work of Creation, in which the servants of God weave everything further into a new development of the happening

Only through this attunement does the human spirit become truly joined with the work of Creation, and from that moment he is also a conscious fellow worker with all the weavers, be they the Vaenen or the Alphar weaving his personal ways, or perhaps the Alphar-herdsmen of the unconsciously animistic, and also the weavers of many further parts and degrees of the materialities, of which there is here no room to speak further

In every respect, however, a miracle comes about in the consciously giving radiation of the humanly spiritual stream of joy and purity, which works as a channel for the needed portion of the inflowing neutral Power of God, which is destined for the inhabitants of the work of Creation for the forming of the ways of further development

The more radiation the human spirit gives out, the more power can flow to him for working through

The Power is afforded to him in proportion to how he works with it, how through his pure inwardness he transforms it into a kind of spiritual work

In the end the heavens may literally open for the human spirit, so that he may be surrounded by the power of a sacred radiance which will let him live through the highest degree of enlightenment that can come to a human spirit in these distant places of the materialities for the filling of the inner being with the Light of God

There is so much that hovers above mankind, and it draws nothing from it, or only meagre rivulets resembling the dried-up bed of a vanishing brook

Therefore let every earnestly striving spirit rouse himself and, through the radiation of a pure joyful prayer to God, take his place in the cycle of giving and taking

In the near future he will recognise how precious this knowledge is, which enables him to free himself from many threads of the past which even today must hang upon him in their immobility

Only in the exertion and brisk work of the spirit can the cycle of the threads be set in motion so that it may bring liberation and ascent

Whoever hesitates in this will never become a true knower of life

Of that refreshing true life which issues solely out of the joyful work of the spirit upon the change of the world into a better and more luminous space for all its inhabitants
