The animistic herdsmen now have a great task, which lies in the joining with those men who can perceive them, so that a conscious cooperation may be begun
This task was given to them from the halls of Valhalla by O-dio-nar himself, as help for those men who with their inner being seek a higher knowledge in life on Earth
To have knowledge of the helpers invisible to earthly eyes was for long millennia on Earth a blessed endowment and at the same time also an important fulfilling in the right walking through life, in the ordering of matters of health, of a sufficiency of food, and altogether in the ascent towards happiness and peace
It was a precious equipment whose values men, sadly, were able to use only in a small part compared with all that had been prepared for them from the Light
The blessing flowing from the connection with the higher worlds often held only for the lifetime of those who had become open to a direct connection with the animistic, or even with the spiritual, helpers
And sadly it was truly for the most part only individuals who had a true connection with the working of the animistic servants of Valhalla
Whenever there was on Earth a more open man who could become the mediator of a connection between the earthly world and the other parts of the work of Creation, then by his mediation the earthly world came alive at once, it began to rise, because it could be strengthened by the power of a higher kind of knowledge
But it was always only something isolated, and not seldom such strengthening died away almost immediately after the departure of such a graced man, who had been able to awaken within himself the connection with the higher worlds
It then came about that the original knowledge, mediated by a blessed receiving, was indeed followed further, yet only in the rigid form of the preserving of certain fragments of wisdom handed down from parents to children
But immobility in blind repetition could never again bring progress, the unfolding of cooperation and thereby the growth of blessing
It was then, therefore, always only a faint reflection of the real living connection with the busy weaving of the animistic servants
Growing ever more distant from the original connection, everything only withered and became forgotten
To much of the earlier knowledge formed in connection with the animistic helpers there attached themselves also the various wishes of men, and thereby fantasies and distortions arose, confused legends and tales
That distortions, and above all a weakening of the working blessing, had to come about in this is more than understandable, because where there is no pulsing life of its own, there a lifeless shadow bringing only appearance instead of life very soon takes its place
And in this appearance of life mankind has been staggering for a very long time already
It became the habitual course of things for whole millennia, without anything in it changing in the majority of society towards a higher independent connection
The upsurge towards change never came about in that right, sufficiently sincere and pure manner of the uplifting of the spiritual inner being
Under the pressure of the overgrown material intellect with its volition to know everything better, it went ever further downward at a speed which in the last decades became a dreadful fall in every respect
But now the development of the universe has reached the state in which the seeking of a connection with the helpers from the heights becomes for the human spirit a grave condition for his further existence in earthly life
An earnest demand thus hovers above every single man
And it is natural that it is a demand which, at the first realisation, seems for man almost impossible to fulfil
Moreover only a short term is given for this fulfilment of a new connection with the animistic world
Here the dreadful consequence of that lukewarmness and belatedness in occupying themselves with these matters on the part of earthly men shows itself ever more openly
It seems that in a heavy impact upon the whole of human society the grave squandering of all the time granted, which was to have been used especially in the last two years for the joining with the higher worlds, will now become apparent
Instead of a joyful fulfilling it fills with apprehension even the inner being of those people who may be called partly knowing
The whole earthly world rushes into difficulties, and there is here no visible sign of a turn, but only the confirmation of the absence of that which ought already to have been here in this interconnection so important for earthly men
Men have no connection at all with the animistic world, a connection so very important for the rebirth of the Earth into the new age
But it is not the fault of the Light and of its animistic and spiritual servants, rather it is the expression of a presumptuous neglect in the development of men here on Earth, whereby the connection with the animistic servants of Valhalla, already in part found, was again gradually lost through the pressure of the wrong direction of society
The great neglect of the soul and of all the other coverings which man wears will now in reality show itself as a grave severing of all the blessed connections
Thereby a gap came about across which mankind as a whole could never raise itself to the planes of a spiritual kind, because for far too many questions there were no answers
The supposition of many churches that knowledge founded upon the experiencing of the many people who have a connection with the animistic world comes from the evil one, and that such a thing is an error disturbing the ascent of the spirit directly to God's throne, as the religions alone hold to be right, is a great karma which lies upon all the zealots from the ranks of the earthly clergy
In this the religions have hitherto appealed to their sincerity in the volition to come to know their God, yet this was only a mask which concealed complacency of the soul and lukewarmness
And this mask will now fall
Neither the animistic nor the spiritual can be leaped over, nor can they be bypassed by clinging to a blind faith
Where there is no liveliness in the experiencing, there is only emptiness and groping
A blind faith in God's creative work, without a courageous examining and joining with the happening taking place in the work, is nothing
Groping in one's immediate surroundings cannot be cast away from man with the supposition that he has something higher to which he clings
Such a thing is not possible, whether it be a wish to hasten development or also a presumptuous contempt, that men do not need anything of the kind
Such a development will in the end always show itself as a grave rift which brings about the collapse of the whole of human society, in that the direction of the earthly activity of men will in the end cause a sharp opposition against the Laws of God, of which the animistic servants are precisely the most faithful stewards and sustainers
Thus we now find ourselves in this time of great collapse, which of itself has a connection with God's Judgment of the kind that through the working of the Ray of Parzival everything in this direction is brought to a mightily accelerated effect and to visibility
Men stand with empty hands in the living work of Creation, which continually streams and creates around them
We may call it a stubborn advance of man against the development, which was to have unfolded quite otherwise than we know it from the history of mankind
The rift between the human spirit and the animistic working would have come in any case, even if this world-part with the human spirits dwelling here did not find itself at the same time in God's Judgment
It would have shown itself in any case, yet under the pressure of the Light of the Holy Judgment of God it is now sharpened a thousandfold to visibility
That severance of earthly man from the animistic working we can also clearly see in all the stages of the millennia-long history
Sicknesses, misery, famines, all of this took place strikingly often precisely in those lands where a multitude of people lived who believed in the words of Christ, when many of the people of that time meant their prayers of the Our Father about the coming of God's kingdom in the utmost sincerity
Nevertheless there happened to men, for the most part, what did happen, namely that fluctuations in climatic conditions came which caused great crop failures, famines and thereafter also great waves of sickness, and the social upheavals and wars issuing from this
All this clearly shows how men, although they worshipped God, groped in His own work, indeed that they rejected much of the help offered by Him through the animistic servants
To God men called, but of the laws and of the servants working in His work they wished to come to know nothing further
In many cases they even set themselves against the people who mediated at least the smallest part of the knowledge of the weaving of the animistic
With a passionate invoking of God they marched, as His zealous faithful, against these more open and more receptive people as against those who practise obscurantism
Those few who were open to the counsels of the animistic helpers were persecuted by the blinded adherents of various religions, branded as heretics and heathens, and for whole centuries they were tortured and murdered as the enemies of the God of the church
All this is only the expression of the incomprehensible state of human superficiality and spiritual indolence with which the working of the animistic servants was and still is approached, a working which earthly man has wholly erased from his perceiving of the world and of the whole work of Creation
For the greatest part of men on Earth something such as the working of the animistic servants in the elements, in the plants and also in the smallest things of all that lives is not a reality, and at best it is mere fairy-tale telling
Even today, if a man who is truly permitted to behold the animistic servants, who is permitted to converse with them directly and who guides himself by their helping counsels, were to stand before earnestly reflecting people, he would at once be branded a strange dreamer, a fantasist, indeed a fraud, if he were unable to transfer his seeing and perceiving to all those people who in their stuntedness remain sightless blind men towards this kind of glorious divine servants in their animistic working on Earth
But that is something wholly impossible, because for it all the opponents of the animistic world lack the bridge of connection, which lies in an earnest endeavour to find the way to them
Therefore the small part of men who have a connection with the animistic world remains always alone, and thereby vulnerable on the part of the rejecting opponents
Without an earnest examining of what is imparted to the man concerned, even today the striving for a connection with the world of the animistic servants of Valhalla would be branded a misleading manner of perceiving happenings, contrary to rational thinking
It would be branded unfounded and thereby unimportant, or even a dangerous influencing of one's fellow men, if such a man brought directions for the ordering of human doings on Earth which did not agree with the notions of the intellect
Wherever a prospect standing against the interests of the intellect, and thereby above all against the money of states and of individuals, placed itself in the way, there everywhere zealous action would be taken against the man bringing such a prospect, even though it would directly help men or nature towards their healing
The gap in knowledge is engraved far too deeply into the work of the intellect, and therefore, at the direction of O-dio-nar, intensified action will now be taken so that this ill-fated attitude of earthly men towards all animistic working may change
But this is not to be only the work of blows in the happenings of nature, rather it will come through the development of sicknesses, as men on Earth call this working of the unconscious animistic under the leadership of the animistic herdsmen
The animistic herdsmen, the exalted Alphar, have now received the direction for this, to bring that manifestation of ignorance, and thereby also of opposition against everything animistic, in its result into the close vicinity of man
Everywhere the former ways worked out by the intellect as the manner of fighting sicknesses will now fail ever more often
It will come to the state where it becomes untenable and medical science, but for small successes, will lose its force on all the essential fronts and will be compelled to admit its weakness
It will come sooner than any of men expects, for it is now the command of the Grail to Valhalla that everything severed by the human intellect from harmonious accord with the animistic working in the Subsequent Creation shall collapse
Mankind is to become newly knowing without delay, for a further continuing in ignorance would mean only an intensified direction towards the destruction of life on Earth
The doings of men have their limit, which has just been reached
Therefore it needs to return to the place where it formerly severed itself from cooperation with the animistic
There that way will begin again which alone bears within it the promise of the fulfilment of God's kingdom on this Earth
And it will be a hard return, which is prepared for the renewal of the cooperation between men and the animistic servants
But so that this may not be unjust, as nothing in the work of Creation is unjust by the very essence of the Loving-Kindness of God, a multitude of animistic herdsmen, of the Alphar, is already now made ready for the joining with those men who will after all still open themselves in the end, so that through their opening they may help themselves and their other fellow men as well
But this connection can be reached only through a renewed will of man for cooperation with the animistic servants in their working in the materialities
The animistic herdsmen are now to join with men, so that those who are still open may draw from their help the strength for the refinding of harmony in life
But the herdsmen have the condition to make nothing of it easier for a single man, and that even at the cost of the destruction of a great part of mankind
This condition resounds as a mighty command from the heights of the halls of Valhalla
No one is to be pardoned before he is inwardly born again for the attaining of humility, whose highest measure of purity and sincerity is now that conditioning command from the heights of the Light which was given to the animistic herdsmen
Where a genuine inward will for a pure connection is not found on the part of men, there the working of all the forces will endure, from the greatest blows of the elements to the tasting of the tenacious working of the smallest unconscious animistic particles, in which there slumbers the power to destroy every earthly life
In the present state there is for mankind no other way than the one that leads through complete subordination to the Laws of Creation, which is in other words that “complete submission to the Will of God the Father in Creation”
And this demand joins with the intensifying radiation of the Ray of Parzival, which impresses upon everything an unprecedented urgency for all human realisation of the wrong ways taken hitherto
Only there, where an accelerated complete awakening in the spiritual dimension of man's being comes about, only there is it still possible to speak of a symbolic course of that settling of the debt which stands on the part of the human spiritual species towards the animistic servants working in this world-part of Ephesus
Only in an accelerated striving for the highest possible seeking of harmony between human doings and the animistic weaving in nature, in the elements and in all the other activities and workings of the animistic kind lies the possibility of an easier atonement
But that means carrying within oneself the attunement to the animistic working continually, for all the moments of human doing
Not in such a way that the mind merely occupies itself with how the animistic looks in a given case and how it works here or there
That attunement lies in the all-embracing setting of the inner being of man, so that under no circumstances shall he, by his wishes and by his conduct, be the cause of opposition against the harmonious weaving of the animistic working
That means carrying within oneself a lasting attitude of a certain modesty and diffidence in the fulfilling of one's wishes
Only such soil can still become sufficiently receptive towards the inspiring guidance on the part of the animistic servants
But that is something which has become almost impossible for man, for his own wishes and the will to assert his own volition have become for him, in the overgrown conceit of the intellect, the greatest obstacle on the way of his change for the better
That overgrowth is so strong that man does not even become aware of its manifestations in his doings
It has become so very habitual that even where man is convinced of his humility, this humility carries conceit within it, however much this is cloaked in an apparent longing to be good, yet to keep within oneself the possibility of remaining that erring one who needs indulgence in his present deficiency
It is not indeed a direct opposition in the asserting of one's will, yet nevertheless on the part of the Laws of Creation it bears the designation of a manifestation of wrong volition
The cunning intellect learns quickly and at once finds new ways which, for example, expect the pardoning of faults at the very slightest showing of an effort to become attuned to the harmony of the animistic working
Man willingly and quickly styles himself small and erring, with the design of cloaking in his doings towards the animistic a complacency which, however, according to his terms must be excused, for he is after all weak, in need of consideration and of help from the animistic servants and from all the Light
Surely some indulgence must be shown to him
So it is always set in man when he expects that God and all His servants are compelled through divine love to show the utmost consideration when he strives to show the smallest particle of effort to improve
There is also in it the endeavour of the intellect to test how earnestly it is meant on the part of all the warnings about the working of the Laws of Creation
As soon as it were ascertained that no kind of reciprocal blow follows almost at once, the intellect would immediately proceed from the finding that there is after all room for a certain exercising of wilful volition
The wakefulness in human perceiving would be developed only for a quick entreating for forgiveness, if for some reason the boundary were overstepped too far and a stroke of reciprocal action threatened
Then man would at once become good, entreating God's greatness, which works in the working of the animistic servants, for indulgence towards his deficiency and his erring
What calculation there is in this beforehand, almost none of men is aware, although it is so in the majority of cases too where man is to rid himself of some ingrained addiction for his own good and health and where he is to show a truly earnest resolve in it
Only he who has a genuine wish for a change for the better keeps within himself perseverance throughout the whole time, without slackening, until he reaches the goal
But how many such people are there
Exactly so it is precisely in the case of the constant asserting of one's own will in relation to the world of nature
In words, promises of change are indeed given, but at the same time ways are immediately sought to get around this or that by the making of side paths, only so that man may not deprive himself of the privileges to which he has grown accustomed
But precisely because of this slyness and, in its essence, malice of the intellect, the command is now given not to yield by even the smallest particle to human entreating and lamenting in the hours when it will be necessary to deal a blow of reciprocal action
Only there where a long-lasting, earnestly meant striving for the interconnecting of man with the animistic world shows itself, only there is a helping hand to be extended on the part of the herdsmen
But only so that it may be made clear where man still errs and where, therefore, his approach is to change
Not for the taking away of pain and privation
These may depart only when in the inner being of man there blazes the luminous flame of an inward spiritual resolve to live on Earth under all circumstances according to the Will of God
But to that, sadly, there is for the man of today still a very long way
Together with the inward resolve for the knowledge of the connections, the majority of men lack the understanding of how very grave everything around man now is and how strongly the real extinction of his spiritual consciousness threatens him if he does not awaken as soon as possible to a strong resolve to become wholly new inwardly and outwardly
Thus it now pours in upon mankind from every side
One great fulfilling already follows upon the previous one
The commands from the Light follow one another with great swiftness
And nothing will be changed in this by men's own persuading of one another that life on Earth is indeed changing strangely of late, but that in fact everything is in order and still runs in the same worn ruts as at any time before
That no longer holds
And men will live through it soon in the close vicinity of their own selves
Indeed directly upon themselves and within themselves, for in the near future the hosts of unconsciously animistic particles will strike them with full force
Above many a one there hover sicknesses of a grave kind
But he cannot face this ethereal prototype by the former ways of medicine, which draw mainly only upon the intellect
Now only one way is possible
Knowledge, understanding, acceptance, and thereby the fitting of oneself into the great Laws of Creation
For this much help is now made ready for mankind
The help waits, but it will not come even a little way to meet anyone, for in this there is contained the wise condition of the living movement of the spirit
Whoever awakens will be able to be saved
But only such a one, and for himself alone
No one else, no one of those close to him, no other will be saved if he does not himself show his own will for a change to a better inner life
To be able to be saved will now be a gift for the exertion in the striving for the joining with the Light, but also with the animistic herdsmen sent out by Valhalla, who stand not far from mankind and work upon the task assigned to them
They are prepared to counsel men again on their way to the refinding of a harmonious life on Earth
Soon they will begin to intervene in the happening with the lack of indulgence proper to the animistic
Therefore it is now important that on the part of those men who are still receptive, fervent ways be sought for the joining with the animistic herdsmen as the envoys and mediators of Valhalla for the cooperation with men in this earnest time on Earth
Circles are to be established which seek this connection earnestly and fervently in a commitment of inner forces such as has hitherto not been lived through by men
Where a genuine striving in the common seeking of a connection with the animistic representatives does not come about, there all help will soon fall away
But where a true striving is expended in the exertion to perceive the world anew in accord with the harmonious creating of the animistic, there on the contrary blessing, and also protection of all who take part in this responsible inner work, will soon show itself
Whoever therefore perceives the present age as an opportunity for his own rebirth in a new attunement to the working of the animistic servants, let him use with all his strength the time between the influx of the newly restored Power from the Grail and the summer solstice, which is the great festival of the animistic streaming from Valhalla
Every earnest endeavour of the individual man in this matter will be able to be recognised in retrospect as a blessed decision
Now everything pours forward and there is no possibility on the part of the earthly world of changing anything in it, save through one's own endeavour wholly set towards a pure life which in the Truth is pleasing to God
