The Change of All That Exists

Ever closer above the Earth stands a mighty wall of Light, which brings within itself the turning point of the ages

It contains within itself the demand for a complete change of everything hitherto which men have made their own as the habitual fulfilment of their earthly existence

In the course of the passing millennia almost everything has changed, without anyone being aware of it today

Men have ordered their way of life upon this Earth without asking the Creator, Who granted them this plane of gross materiality for their use, whether He also intended it so

In nine cases out of ten of their conduct on Earth men today stand against the original intention of the All-Wisdom of God

The goals which mankind sets up for itself as being worthy, in their view, of the expenditure of strength deny all knowledge of the true meaning of the human spirit's existence upon this Earth

Instead of strengthening the human inner being towards the Light, these goals draw the whole concentration of forces down to a mere asserting of oneself in the enjoyments of the short time of earthly existence

This is nothing new for those who reflect upon it with seriousness

Of necessity it has come to the present desperate condition, for from the moment of abandoning the original healthy direction of development, which is conditioned solely by nobility of the intuitive perception, of that intuition which may mediate the spiritual vibrations in man, all human striving, for all its intellectual cleverness, had gradually to turn only towards earthly goals of the instincts

Driven by the instincts and by the craving to assert itself in their gratification, mankind forms a blind branch of development which has come to a standstill and must finally fall away from the original living trunk, whose fundamental sap from the very beginning is the unfolding of man's spiritual gifts and abilities

Therefore, before the time of the great liberation and enlightenment through spiritual knowledge comes, there will first have to precede it a growing collapse of the greatest part of all that men have built upon a false foundation

To that false foundation belong all the manifestations of immature human conceptions about the meaning of life, built upon an ignorance of the knowledge of God and of His work of Creation, which leads either to a complete rejection of God, or merely to an earthly ecclesiasticism, or, at the opposite extreme, to a delirious religious rapture and to fanaticism

It may be said that for tens of thousands of years all human undertaking has always been deflected in one direction or another from a healthy balance

Therefore it is the cause of much harm and suffering in the lives of individuals and of the whole of mankind

Yet it may be called far worse that over everything there spreads the pall of an already utterly deflected intellectual materialism, which strives to smother every small flame of hope of the healthy core in those people who still endeavour with all their strength to preserve within themselves a portion of brighter receptivity

It is almost past believing, but there are still people on Earth with a pure foundation in their inward intuitive perceiving

Few realise today how precious such a person is, who in spite of all the extravagances of opinion of today's intellectual people holds within himself a portion of healthy perceiving

He who holds within himself even a particle of this healthy perceiving can also still have a share in all that is new which, in the strengthening of the Light, comes to the Earth

The great promise of the liberation which now comes from the Light hovers above every such person

But it should be reckoned with by everyone that even that which still bears in part a healthy original core will be shaken, so that from this core there may be wholly separated all the deposits of the sophistry of the small human intellect, which in the end surround everything originally purer and cause a dulling in the perception of what is fundamentally right

The period of the cleverness of the human intellect, which denies the pure intuitive perceiving of the spirit, is drawing towards the end of its dominion on Earth

This end will be bitter and painful, yet at the same time it will bring for a part of mankind the opportunity to rouse themselves to a reawakening of the fervent longing to know what lofty meaning lies in the possibility of living here on Earth

The shattering of men's hitherto existing conceptions of life will, though roughly yet in the end full of hope, open the possibility of advancing further in knowledge, and will thereby bring the opportunity of a higher spiritual maturity to everyone who is not already wholly poisoned by the influence of the intellect

In many people it will awaken, even at the last moment, a great longing to make luminous within themselves the capacity for a simple and at the same time supremely noble manner of being

Despite all the shattering and collapse of everything existing there will be people in whom, through the pressure of the happening, the longing for a lofty and pure manner of life will blaze up, whose original impulse forward will be the longing for a true knowledge of God and of His Primordial Eternal Will

And it is precisely the awakening of these impulses of the inner being which will become the foundation for the enlightenment of their spirit to be permitted gradually to draw near to such people

It will, however, demand great trust, for that gradual awakening of the intuitive perceiving of the true meaning of man's existence on Earth will be constantly accompanied by the intensifying tremors of the collapsing old world built upon the intellectual and material self-assertion of those who have entirely suppressed within themselves the capacity to perceive intuitively anything higher which is to be found in the finer planes above this earthly world

At the beginning many a person will, besides his intuitive perceiving, have to make do with the trust that this is the right path

Trust in the possible return to the original destiny of the development of life on Earth, as it was appointed by the All-Wisdom of the Creator, will be the condition for the experiencing of visible helps from the Light to be able to come to man

Before every person there thus stands the condition of a necessary shift within himself, so that the old, which is ever more recognisable as erroneous, may be overcome and replaced by the new, which however has not yet formed a sufficient support in the world of thought

To pass through this transformation will therefore mean for many people a great inner struggle, in which the inward intuitive perceiving will be able to set against the preponderance of the intellect nothing more than the inward trust in the rightness of the decision for that new which calls deep within man that this is at last the right direction

Many people will not achieve it and will lose heart even at the last moment

Trust in the wise appointing of the development of life on Earth by the Will of God is today the hardest thing through which every person will need to pass in his transformation if he wishes to join the host of spiritually enlightened people

Yet in that alone lies the individual's liberation from all the past which still clings ponderously to the ways of thinking and acting of most people

The advancing wall of Light will, by its pressure upon the present wrongly set direction of human society, call forth ever more happenings which men will with horror call “the collapse of the old order”

This, however, will be only a great help for many people who would otherwise not awaken and would not rouse themselves to the courage to change

However painful it will be, it is a necessary part of the period, lasting a certain time, of the transformation of the world from its hitherto materialistic disposition under the rule of the intellect to the enlightened path of the peaceful and blessed unfolding of man's spiritual abilities

In such people the trust in the rightness of their decision will change ever more into an experienced nobility of character of their own

A quiet becoming luminous will come in the inner being, strengthening man to act simply and purely in all that draws near to him

And so it will also be right, for pure nobility in thinking and acting is that path which from the beginning was laid into the spark of the human spirit by the Love of God

Of the urgent need for the ennobling and uplifting of the inner being Jesus Christ also spoke in all His discourses to those who listened

His helping Words, filled with a supra-earthly love, never forsake any person who strives to draw nearer to the Light

The Spirit of Christ stands above every inwardly awakened person, in order to lead him along the path of ennoblement to the knowledge of God the Father, and thereby to raise him ever closer to the spiritual home

Part of the trust in the rightness of the new direction in life on Earth will be, for the inwardly awakened person, the recognition that everywhere this new dwells it is at the same time possible to find the most fervent striving for nobility in human conduct

Thereby the vibration of the first Christians will again be brought to the Earth, as they experienced the following of the Son of God as their Teacher and Master

There will live again the time of men who dwell in the grace-filled ray of God's guidance

The genuineness of this striving, which springs from the deepest inner being, will be the only valid credential of a man testifying to his volition to join the new world

The credential will lie solely and only in his own hand, and it will gain or lose in value according to how he approaches everything in life with the volition to fulfil a noble humanity

No other will be able to perform for him anything of his conduct, which must proceed solely from himself

Therein lies for man the sifting of all that is genuine from the conceits about himself cultivated by the intellect

Precisely therein lies that above all simple and yet perfect Justice of God, penetrating everything in man from the very foundation

The pure limpidity of the volition in his striving to raise the spirit to the highest nobility of the human kind is the testimony for the working of the Justice of God upon his further development in Creation

The turning point of the ages brings the change of all that exists

It is precisely this turning point which calls forth something entirely new in the demand upon the individual, that he personally shall exert all spiritual forces in order to keep himself in movement within the work of Creation

It is a demand for the strengthening of every human spirit in the independence of his being

However much a certain inflexibility is contained in it, it is solely and only a manifestation of the Love of God, which thereby at the same time grants the human spirit the most precious thing he may receive, namely the unfolding of his own personal abilities of the spirit

Ascent lies only in one's own movement

With the turning point of the ages the habitual human herd instinct comes to an end

Man is not a group soul, and therefore the demand now comes for the awakening of his own intuitive perceiving in every single person

Those who carry within themselves at least a portion of healthy intuitive perceiving will have everything easier

That mentioned trust in the Help of God will also be permitted to change for them at once into experiences of an almost miraculous kind

Therefore everyone who feels within himself the impulse towards his own independent understanding of life should lay hold of it

All the opinions hitherto adopted man therefore needs to perceive intuitively within himself anew, with the highest alertness of his healthy perceiving

Gradually there should fall away from him everything artificially attached and adopted which does not come from his own experiencing and with which he himself never identified

With whatever a man does not resonate he should work untiringly in his spirit, in the trust that precisely now, in the time of the great turning point of the ages, the Light will be near him to help him attain knowledge and liberation in cleansing himself of all the habitual erroneous loops of thought

Everything impressed from without by parental upbringing, by schools, by religions, and also that which was thoughtlessly adopted from others, now needs to pass through a strong intuitive perceiving from within, as to whether it resonates with the truly sounding Words of Christ

The greatest helper in this liberation from all the blind alleys of opinion of the present time can be the work of the Grail Message, which with sharpness leads everyone to inner independence

Yet with the work of the Grail Message itself, too, one must work rightly

That is, only in the greatest personal spiritual independence and freedom from the opinions of others

Step by little step the human spirit is to ascend upwards in the intuitively perceived recognition of the Truth about God and His work of Creation

Before the eyes of man there is continually to arise the picture of a noble and pure approach to everything that comes to him

Inner independence in the constant holding of this noble approach is the most precious thing the human spirit may experience

Thereby the ability is formed for an independent and fully self-conscious ascent upwards to the Light, as it was expected of the human spirit from the beginning by the Will of God

Men, however, have distorted the greatest part of all the helps granted them from the Light for this purpose, and have thus created entirely wrong paths for life upon this Earth and in the ethereal planes as well

In the end nine out of ten paths are blind, for the greatest part of all things on Earth is set either merely for money, for trade, or else the aim is to influence other people and to subject them to one's own designs

Thereby there has formed a social disposition which poisons the human spirit during the time of his earthly life by continually forcing upon him nothing but politics and the earning of money

And likewise by the most varied hidden and visible incitements to the excitation of the body and of the nerves and instincts contained within it

Nothing else can be found today in the world of the majority of men as the strong goals of present human striving, however great the number of forms it takes

It has penetrated all life through paths which at the beginning were perhaps purer, such as culture, or the sharing of the experiencing of powerful moments among men and nations

The original paths of sharing, to which belongs all today's mediation of printed, spoken and pictorial reports through the media, or now newly the so-called social networks, have for the greater part become mere breeding grounds of sensationalism and malice

If a man follows the threads of all today's social happening, he arrives nowhere else than at discovering that in everything there is finally contained the craving for money, the craving to have influence over other people to the point of their complete domination, and thirdly the craving to attain the excitation of the body by all the most varied possible forms which men have discovered during the whole time of their existence on Earth

For the greatest part we find today only these three basic bits which bridle the human spirit on Earth, and which as a rule are often skilfully mingled with one another in variations, so as always to differ anew from earlier forms which have already exhausted themselves

All this men call “life”, and they consider themselves socially informed or even successful when they unite with these forms in such a way as to admit them into their mental and physical existence

The isolated places which withstand all this, where a striving for anything nobler is still to be found, may be called literal oases, granting man a strengthening and free breath

The change which now brings the great turning point in the hitherto flowing of the ages will necessarily call forth tremors in which men will flee from the hitherto false world formed by their own forces and will desperately seek out the mentioned oases of inner freedom, independence and peace

In the end, however, they will discover that they must first create such places themselves, together with those people who prove to be homogeneous in the newly clarified thinking and in their whole approach to life

Nothing will be given to men easily, but they will be compelled to create and to order it all themselves, in careful occupation with what is and what is not right in the sense of the Will of God in Creation

And precisely in this exertion and independence in men, now sharply demanded by the Light, lies the highest Grace of God

For no one will it be made easier by even a single particle

In everything there will be demanded a visible demonstration of how far the inward spiritual volition is able to manifest itself in the noble life of a man

Religious confession will mean nothing at all, and neither will earthly possessions nor social standing

None of this will be able to stand in the coming turning point of the ages

God's help will be able to come only where, together with pure trust, there is in man a fervent volition towards nobility in all his conduct

Everyone should prepare for this fundamental change both inwardly and outwardly

This because it will certainly come to him in some way and will demand a fundamental change of all that exists in himself as well

For some time now we have been approaching it with unbelievable speed

In the whole universe everything is now prepared for the great change

This change will come and will be fulfilled, either with the present earthmen or without the majority of them

Therefore this should be a serious reason for everyone to occupy himself as thoroughly as possible with what is coming
