Unsuspected values offer themselves to everyone who approaches the work of the Grail Message purely and openly

Through the Grail Message there can penetrate to man, again and again, streams of high knowledge of which other people have not the slightest inkling

It rests solely with the individual spirit as such how he turns this knowledge to account for his understanding of this place here, which is his present field of activity, and also for his understanding of the whole glorious work of Creation, which arose out of the radiation of the Love of God

Everyone could gain from it at once much that is precious for himself, which would smooth for him the further path to that blessedness which is contained in spiritual enlightenment

All this, however, is conditioned upon his receiving the knowledge of the Truth in the highest liveliness of his inner being

The liveliness of the spiritual inner being is the conditioning radiation of a magnetic bridge in the direction of the Truth

Liveliness is therein necessarily bound up with an inner enthusiasm for the unfolding of one's own pure inquisitiveness

Blessed is he who does so

With every particle of new knowledge his spirit gains in strength and in wisdom, and thereby draws nearer to the unchanging core of the Truth

Step by step the Truth brings him answers for absolutely everything that is to be found in the work of Creation

There is no place and no happening for which man would not receive clear knowledge and understanding of why it is, why it comes to pass, and what arises out of it as the ensuing continuation

A true knower of life then becomes everyone who lives in full connection with the whole of the work of Creation

He already knows that the Truth is

From all ages she remains such as she was in the beginning, and she will be the same in millions of years

She does not change, for in her is contained the perfection of the All-Wisdom of God

Men, however, draw near to the Truth only step by step

They advance in their maturity, and from a certain attained state onwards they can then see and experience everything, in every moment of their being, as one single great weaving of the All-Wisdom of God

With such an inner raising of comprehension, and therewith of the receiving of the Will of God, we may speak of the person concerned as already attaining the state of spiritual enlightenment

This comes about because, in striving livingly and freely to penetrate to the core of the Truth, he thereby fulfils automatically his being in the work of Creation, which stands in accord with the prototype of the original development of the human spiritual species

He becomes more closely joined with all the vibrations of the Harmony of the work of Creation

Joyful are all such people

They are borne upwards to the Light by the great Laws quite as a matter of course, for they no longer set themselves against the indomitable power of these Laws

Many people, meanwhile, collide with the workings of these Laws, whether through their ignorance of the connections or through an obdurate clinging to dogmatic, materialistic, philosophical or religious tenets, which can never be rightly applied to all the moments of everyday present life

Also on account of the inability to free themselves from the lowness of the thought forms they take over, or for many further reasons besides, many people stand very often in sharp opposition to the Laws of Creation

Nothing of all this is in the least necessary for them to experience

With the help of the knowledge of the Truth they are to raise themselves above all this, to free themselves and to become true men of the spirit, who draw from the workings of the Laws nothing but support for their spiritual inner being and for the body as well

To vibrate in unison with the Laws of Creation, to flow in their blessed streaming, is something quite other than a stiff striding through life supported by the crutches of rigidly immobile tenets

There is nothing religious in it when everyone may experience the lasting presence of the Love of God, which through the Laws of Creation helps him in his ascent

Without man knowing it, he is constantly surrounded by the Harmony which forms itself out of the weaving of the animistic servants, who are here in order to help every spiritual spark to keep the right direction of development

Here in the worlds of matter he is also surrounded by the ether, which helps him in so many moments that he cannot even imagine it

If man vibrates rightly in his earthly and in his soul covering, then the ether affords him a lastingly refreshing strengthening in every moment, and this in a quite natural flowing into his coverings

The animistic support that is always at hand for him throughout the whole Subsequent Creation works for him through the great and the small effects of lawful happening

Knowledge of this sets the inner being of man vibrating, for in that moment he enters into a great kind of existence which strikingly resembles a fairy tale

In knowledge everything comes alive, receives its right place, and all at once new kinds of kindly forces may draw near to man, of which he had not the least inkling before that they stand here permanently ready to help

Together with the strict consistency of the workings of the Laws of Creation, the Harmony contains at the same time the beauty of the fairy tale, in which everything can be transformed to good as soon as man only truly wills it

This vibrating in the Harmony necessarily brings, through the threads of destiny, more blessing out of the Light

In every vibration of the inner spiritual volition, in every thought, there may then dwell the wondrous key to success in the full worth of being

And here to many there surely offers itself the question why there is not in so many people the inner volition to come to know the Truth, if there lies in it so much blessing for everyone

The answer, however, is of a simpler kind than it would seem at first glance

A great part of mankind carries within a mistrust of the Truth, for in their eyes this concept is stained with a thousandfold false deposits, which only confuse and which, instead of a natural openness and a kindly encouragement of childlike inquisitiveness, call forth in man rather only a wariness, whipped up in many to the degree of a lurking aggressiveness

The striving to come to know the Truth therefore appears to more than one person as a foolish undertaking

It appears as a squandering of energies upon something that can never repay a man the time and the attention he devotes to this concept

Whole multitudes who find themselves in this kind of thinking have arrived at the proud attitude that the Truth as such has no definite form, since here on Earth everything can be called into question by the intellect

It has gone so far that those people who say that the Truth, as grasped by man, is a matter of one's outlook and attitude to life, mock those who earnestly seek her unchangeableness as the firm starting foundation for their own anchorage in life

What an enormous fateful error lies in this attitude of men, they mostly discover only at the moment when the part of them that is soul is compelled to leave the earthly body

They are pushed and dragged onward, against their expectation, by the very Laws whose existence they sought throughout their life to render unbelievable

Instead of striding on with a clear gaze, self-assured in their body of the soul, along the path leading to the spiritual home, they are suddenly forced to experience great upheavals in their former view of the Truth

They discover how much of their earthly time was squandered upon nothings, while the great jewels of life were stepped over by them with indifference and rejection

Already on Earth they could have made enormous progress in coming to know the multitude of gifts that lay ready for them at every step

Great discoveries connected with the co-operation of the human spirit and the animistic could long since have been brought into the conditions of the earthly world, in order to help earthmen and to make their path easier

All that today appears as ground for anxiety, whether in the world of nature or in the relations between nations and between individuals, could have been led out of all confusion and difficulty by the very simplest ways

And there is truly very much that goes unrecognised, although it would bring improvement at once

To this belongs precisely the knowledge of the ether, which, were it used by men in accord with the Laws of Creation, would at once unfold its beneficent working in the life of man

But because men always give their attention only to such things as have a loud sound and thereby win notice for the intellectual attitude, the most precious helps remain entirely outside the human world

Something great is expected, while most of true knowledge touches upon small everyday matters

As such an example we may name the possibility of healing many illnesses, and this by means of the simplest movement there is, human walking

Walking in particular is overlooked by most people in its effects upon health, for it is taken as something self-evident, and for a great part of mankind even as something burdensome, which they try to avoid at any price

Yet in the movement of walking there is contained a great measure of the healing power of the ether, which can thus penetrate into the bodily shell of man

Movement is the foundation of health for all life on Earth

And the movement most proper to every man is walking

We may say outright that the human body is directly formed for the movement of walking

It is a foundation in which there lies far more than men today suspect

Walking, in conjunction with right breathing and with the inner attunement of man, is the remedy for nine illnesses out of ten

This is because, with a right and dignified bearing of the body and with the keeping of gracefulness in movement, muscles are exercised in full naturalness of which only few people have any inkling at all

At the same time the work of the organ of the lungs in breathing sets in motion an inflow of the ether, which penetrates at once in all directions into the human body

The walking of which we speak here, however, is quite other than that which most people consider to be normal movement

It may also be said that today's walking is immensely far removed from the original walking filled with the free and unbound spirit of man

This only confirms how far we human beings today are removed from all that is healthy and helpful, which surrounds us in order to raise us higher

It is a walking permeated by the ether

In this walking there is at the same time contained everything needful for the healing processes in all parts of the body

The ether-walking joins not only the movement of the body but also the movement of the soul, and leads further, right up to the spiritual spark itself in man

It may also be called a spiritually irradiated walking, which from the very beginning should have been a natural part of human life on Earth

In its effect this movement joins together all the parts of the coverings of the human inner being

Thereby it unites them into a harmonious accord, which finally shows itself outwardly in the human body as a resulting restoration of health

This is because walking is precisely that one uniform movement which pervades all the planes of the work of Creation

Together with naturalness it therefore contains within itself also that dignity and nobility which hitherto belonged only to the more luminous planes, but not to the earthly world

Naturally there are here still other movements proper to the human spiritual species, such as floating or moving from place to place under the effect of spiritual volition

These kinds of movement, however, do not belong at the present time to earthly conditions, and therefore it is not in place to occupy ourselves with them in depth

If, however, the spiritual development of mankind takes the right direction towards ascent, then one day, in connection with a greater lightening of the gross material substance of the universe, there will surely come the turn of further possibilities of human movement, which today are unknown

The time of this development will come

Now, however, it is not needful to go into further detail about it

What can on the contrary be taken up at once and immediately is the movement contained in walking

The liveliness of movement bound up with it is as yet undiscovered, and therefore one cannot speak of a noble and also healing walking among men

The actual movement of the body in right walking needs to be joined with an attunement to the streaming forces of the ether

This comes about quite simply through receptiveness and the capacity to experience finer streamings

It is only needful to let the ether enter into all parts of the body through the liveliness that is to be exercised therein

It is not, however, a procedure that could be set in place by intellectual willing or even by concentration, which is the kind of willing familiar to men today

The attention and concentration of the intellect is on the contrary a hindrance, which disturbs the attunement needed for the right movement of walking

With this is bound up the right breathing already mentioned, and also the beat of the heart, and above all a harmoniously clarified nervous system

It is to be the spirit and the soul that move the body in right walking

This comes about quite otherwise than as men do it in taking over forms from previous generations, where something is considered natural which in reality is not natural in the least

The movement in the walking of men today is not natural, however much it is so regarded by them

Naturalness is altogether something other than what men imagine today

It carries within itself gracefulness and lightness, up to the degree of a certain unearthliness

At the same time an inward power of life always radiates from naturalness

Naturalness rests in the accord of all the inner coverings in man, whereby there comes outwardly to the fore a mobility of the body which vibrates fully in the Laws of Creation

Thereby more of the power of the ether can glide into man and, through the movement of walking alone, bring strengthening and also the blessing of healing

It is a sad discovery, but even to such a seeming trifle as the walking of the earthly body men will need to draw near with a wholly new approach

Out of trifles, however, there is assembled the whole, which only in a far greater interconnection may be called the Truth

Therefore the knowledge of the Truth is indivisibly bound up with such matters as right movement, breathing, and also the circulation of the blood and of the other fluids in the body

Not so much the length of the walk is decisive as the rightness of the body's vibrating while walking

To penetrate into these fine connections is given through the receptiveness of the intuition

The intellect, in the coarseness with which it approaches everything, is not able rightly to recognise the fine streams of the ether which are contained therein and which bring precisely refreshment and healing

Right walking cannot be learned by the intellect, for it cannot be acquired through the concentrated attention of the frontal brain

It is the same as with all the finer parts in Creation, which cannot be acquired by the intellect

Whole great sections of the Truth lie thereby above the reach of intellectual concentration

Nevertheless these finally show themselves purely materially as well, precisely in the workings of the Laws of Creation

Man is to seek accord with these Laws in everything great and small, to which, for example, the movement of walking belongs

Accord with the Laws of Creation, and therewith with the Truth in Creation, is bound up with everything great and small

And this concerns also the human being's existence in the body, which is granted as a gift at the earthly birth

The greatness and the fullness of experiencing the Truth is to show itself quite automatically in everything earthly

This earthly, however, men take so much for granted that it has become secondary to them, and in their spiritual rigidity they have finally carried this over to everything belonging to their existence here

Their severance from the Laws of Creation men have thus carried over to the body, to its health and its movements

They do not suspect that thereby, for everything animistic in nature, they are clearly recognisable at first glance in how far they are removing themselves from the Truth

There is no more telling testimony to the state of mankind than how men live, how they act, how they move, and what they occupy themselves with in their everyday life

Many have wrongly shifted the concept of the Truth into the scheme of philosophical thinking, of teachings and of dogmas

They suppose that the Truth is something standing far from this world here, accessible only in the laborious study of dust-covered writings

In reality the Truth penetrates into everything, for with her is bound up all that we may call naturalness vibrating in accord with the Laws of Creation

If man therefore wishes to live the Truth and longs to vibrate fully in her blessing, he needs to change much that today he wrongly calls natural, however much it goes precisely against the Laws of Creation and thus against the Truth

It is simpler than men think

The Truth is to be contained in everything, for she it was that directly gave rise to the Laws of Creation in their all-embracing effects upon every particle to be found in the work of Creation

In order therefore that men may penetrate ever closer to the Truth, they need in many directions to begin approaching quite anew even such smallest things as, for example, right walking or right breathing, and much else besides

It is therefore no philosophising, but a seeking of accord with the unchanging Laws working in the work of Creation

From this man can acquire very much for himself

Indeed, he can gain from it absolutely everything, so that knowledge may gradually penetrate to him, from the smallest things up to the greatest

But only if he forms for himself the connection with the many streams of forces which have hitherto remained closed to him

The ether is only one of these blessed forces, for in the first work of Creation we may find yet quite other streams of spiritual flowing, which have altogether different effects and kinds of creative power

But already here on Earth man may be surrounded by inspirations which grant him prospects of which until then he had not the slightest inkling

He can and also should be joined with animistic and spiritual helpers, who will transmit to him without hindrance ever higher knowledge, which he will then be able to turn to account already in his life here on Earth

Above mankind there hovers continually a blessing in the form of luminous threads, which wait to be made use of

Now is the time when this is to be used, in the purest striving and in an inwardly open inquisitiveness, for knowledge of the smallest and of the highest kind alike

If man goes ever higher with openness of spirit, then he will reach up to those places where sacred knowledge of the greatest parts of the Truth is granted to him

He will also be granted the connection with the Ray of Parzival, which stands as the promise of great changes close above these parts of the universe

A beginning with this can be made this very day

It lies solely in the hands of man himself

He decides how he will make his own, within his inner being, the small and the great knowledge of the Truth

And it is precisely the often-mentioned Circles of Calm that can be a great inspiration in this for all awakening people, who until now slept soundly in the captivity of an intellectual grasp of the world

Thereby all the blessing bound up with a new knowing of all the connections in life had necessarily to escape them

The time when all this must be begun is here
