The Blessing For Mankind in the Present Time On Earth, Resting in the New Beginning of the Circling Movement of Radiation

Hitherto it has not been possible to speak of a free and unhindered exchange of radiation among men on earth

In the course of millennia, when this exchange of radiation began to unfold so as to bring blessing to many human spirits, then hitherto always, sooner or later, through the ignorance and the insufficient maturity of the majority, the circling movement contained in it began to falter, until at last it ceased entirely

Thereby the beneficial effect of the healing of forces came to a standstill, which is of necessity bound up with the exchange of radiation among those human spirits who were born on earth to become wise givers and receivers of this kind of radiation, out of which alone, in its use, any building for the Light can begin

A man can picture the exchange of radiation as an expression of reverence and of support in thought towards all fellow-men who strive for a high spiritual goal

But this holds good not only towards people striving spiritually upwards to the Light, but it holds good in the end towards absolutely every man and every creature

It is always possible to bear within oneself a pure, objective reverence towards all forms of life, for in its beginning everything arose out of the radiation of the one single vibration of the Love of God, and thus everything is joined in the stream of God's blessing

It is a reverence towards God's Creation, in which, for the human comprehension hitherto, an unimaginably wide diversity of life is contained

The attuning of the inner being to pure reverence is the foundation for the gradual kindling of the volition for all-embracing good in man

With the attunement of reverence towards other people a refreshing strengthening for his own ascent also comes to a man at once

In the kind of experiencing which reverence brings him, he may advance spiritually ever more swiftly upwards

In reality there is also no other way out of the present lamentable condition for mankind than through this, that an ever greater number of individual people make their own the manner of the attunement of reverence in their thinking about other people and about the whole world

It needs only to penetrate lastingly into the thinking, so that out of it everything else can then be shaped

It may be said that the words hold good: “As you would have others think of you, so first of your own accord think of others”

In this lies the granting of reverence, which then of itself shapes the ways for all dealings among men

It is the handing on of a precious treasure among men one to another

A great progress over today lies for every man in his lasting way of looking upon other people so that he always sees in them the better in the first place

If people were really to hold to this mutual reverence, then in a short time a great blessing for all would arise from it

It may be likened to the care of a gardener for all the plants found in his garden

If the gardener thinks of the plants in the garden with love and also tends them accordingly, then all the plants, including those perhaps sickly at first, will in the end become strong and beautiful

With its varied form, its scents and its colours each of them then brings a completion of the whole, from which the enjoyment of harmony flows

The description mentioned also stands in no contradiction to it when some of the plants, which bear within themselves from the beginning a natural exuberance of growth and thereby perhaps tend to stifle the weaker plants, are kept by the wise and sensitive hand of the gardener in such a way that no dominance of theirs arises in the space of the garden beyond what is needful for the maintaining of the overall balance and harmony

Yet men, unlike the plants, bear within themselves the capacity to become aware of their ways, and in the unfolding of virtues, if only they will, they can thus easily make their own a self-mastery and direct the enthusiasm in the use of their gifts towards loving help to other people

In the directing of one's own forces to the help of other people and of all creatures there also lies an expression of reverence, provided this help is offered there where the ground is prepared for it

Not therefore that it should be the forcing of something against the will of one's fellow-men

This reverence and support of other people should always have been the most natural part of the service of the Light, for which service a wider host of people having manifold tasks in it is to be formed

Among these people the mentioned cycle of the circling radiation of reverence is to arise as the starting foundation of the blessed building of life on earth

Under conditions of mutual support much could already have been built of that which is so urgently needed for the beginning of a peaceful world of men on earth

The great realm of peace and tranquillity hovers above the earth, but hitherto it could not become a part of the life of men, for along with the knowledge the needed maturity and inner peace were lacking for it

This, however, is now changing

The knowledge of the need for the circling movement of radiation among people striving towards the Light is an inseparable part of the great spiritual enlightenment which is now coming

People who long to be a part of the further development of life on earth need to move markedly further in this

It is a great sign of true spiritual maturity if a man is able to bear within himself reverence towards other people, however different these are from himself in choosing quite other ways for their manner of life

Much among men is meant to be different, for that is precisely a part of why human spirits incarnate on earth, so as to ripen upon one another

The difference holds good also for the ways of worshipping the Creator

If the foundation for the worship of the Creator is a purely fervent volition, then the outward difference is no hindrance

The unity among men is to lie only in the purity and the genuineness of their intuitive perceiving in the seeking of the way to the Creator

If people living in manifold ways go rightly, then at a certain degree of their maturity the ways hitherto different will draw near into a more unified kind which belongs to the human spirit in his intuitive sensing and worship of God

Something of this kind, however, usually happens only in the more translucent planes of the luminous ethereal substance

In an objective approach to other people on earth it is always to be heeded that other people have a free will for their decision as to what forms they fulfil their earth-life in

If the foundation is the pure liveliness of the spirit, then the outward differences can be a mutual completion and enrichment

Hitherto, however, mankind under the influence of the principle of evil spread by Lucifer has in the striving for the worship of the Creator attained only that condition in which precisely that difference has for millennia been a cause of ill-will in thought and of hostility

Thereby arose all the dogmas fettering the spirit, which through human opinions laid themselves as a heavy shroud upon this earth

The pettiness of intellectual thinking has crowded out the greatness of the intuitive perception of the spiritual inner being

The spirit was oppressed by the baseness of the intellect, which beforehand already insinuates into man thoughts of mistrust towards other people and towards the whole world, which in its forms appears different from his own conceptions of the right fulfilling of the way to the Creator

Thereby something took root in the thinking of men which should never have been on earth

The assumption that in the otherness of another man, in the mere difference of the way in which he fulfils his life, there lies a reason to stand towards him fundamentally in mistrust or even in open hostility

Yet this always leads gradually in the end only to one thing – to enmity and also to war, which then with its fever masters the thinking of the majority of mankind

This mastery of thinking lasts thereafter for as long as the participating sides are not entirely exhausted, so that only then, in the misery and destruction which of necessity grow out of it, do they attempt for a certain time to seek reconciliation and mutual understanding

Through the long-standing disposition of the narrowed earthly human thinking all the fine radiation of diversity of necessity falters, which should always have been maintained by the circling among men in a living exchange

Thereby an immeasurably precious exchange came to a standstill, which should always have had the strength of a living cycle among men, if only they had been able to bear within themselves the maturity for a wise husbandry of this gift from the Creator, which was given them for ripening in gross materiality

Through the stopping of this cycle of radiation among men consequences of necessity arose which, instead of a common ascent to the Light, lead to a mutual crippling, and thereby among men, instead of the riches and abundance promised by God, there is found predominantly a condition of dissension and tension

From this too there arise threads of fate which in the end must always be atoned for in some kind of living-out

And precisely all this is now to change with those people who have the knowledge of God and who strive for the exalted goal which lies in the attaining of the spiritual home in the Light

The people holding the knowledge of the Truth in their hands are now to prove that their spirit is truly freed from the dominion of the intellect and acts reverently towards their fellow-men

All the disappointments hitherto are to be healed in whatever reverence they are able to attain

A great part are already striving for it, yet a still greater part of the striving slides back along the deeply engraved manner of thinking about others

The intellect undertakes everything to maintain the condition of mistrust among men

Many an honest endeavour of some fellow-man towards progress is therefore held in the intellectual manner of thinking to be dissimulation, and not a sincerely intuitively perceived striving

This then leads only to intellectual cunning and suspicion

Cunning and suspicion are a kind of attunement in thought which consumes all the strength that could otherwise be given to the building up

If people saw how in such a disposition of thinking the life-giving radiation from the Light is used up by them for nothing, since in mutual suspicion there can never be any building up, then they would take fright, for out of such a manner of thinking a responsibility flows to them continually which they will one day have to accept and to atone for

Precisely for this reason the call now goes out to the whole of mankind that it should become more open in its inner being by abandoning the hitherto doubting ways of intellectual thinking

Only thus will the cycle of radiation be permitted to move again, which bears within itself a wondrous kind of abundance and ascent for all human spirits

The miracle of the circling lies in the mutual exchange of reverence

Reverence therefore needs to become a part of the dealings between individuals in their everyday affairs, just as it is to be between nations and lands one with another

Yet alas, many people are very far from this, for the voice of their inner being is pushed into the background under the pressure of the intellectual disposition of thinking

Therefore it fails hitherto even among those people who otherwise hold in their hands the Truth brought in the work the Grail Message

In many places mistrust, cunning and ill-will prevail towards the striving of all those who go by other ways than those who suppose that they alone serve the Light rightly

But if a man bears within himself even a single particle of ill-will towards other people, then in reality he himself cannot serve the Light rightly

Something of this kind excludes itself

Under the pressure of the Law of Homogeneity it will have to remain standing ever aside from the Light, for the Light knows nothing of such a thing as ill-will

On the contrary, the Light knows only an exalted reverence, and that even though the other side perhaps does not deserve it through its inward condition in the present time

Reverence can and is to be given to others not only for the moment of the present, but above all for the time which is yet to come, when other people, only later in their further inward advance, will suddenly be able to value fully the reverence granted to them by another man long ago

The judging of other people in the moment of the present often leads to wrong conclusions

It is only a very narrowed judging of others

Men are to strive for accord in a common active creating for an ascent blessed by God, for in this lies the fulfilment of the pure spiritual service to the Light

In the planes above the earth not one of the servants who work in the Light dares to be a judge of human souls

Something of this kind falls only to Imanuel, working in Parzival as the promised Son of Man, who vibrates fully in the time of the fulfilment of the Holy Judgment in the Justice of God

But this is entirely remote from human spirits, in whose species lie the capacities for the maintaining of the cycle of creative radiation

When men at last comprehend this, then such a day on earth will become a fundamental change in the entering upon the path to all-embracing good

In that hour there will at once be able to be joined, by the hands of the animistic weavers, the Alphar, a kind of radiation which hitherto had to remain separated

This radiation may be called the longed-for blessing of the Light, which brings with refreshment an unprecedented help that mankind has already entirely forgotten

It is a blessing which bears within itself the strength to change the world as a whole for the better

It contains within itself a flowering and a building up of a wondrous kind

All this is hidden within one single condition which is given by God's Laws in Creation as the foundation for the ascent of all life – a reverent trust towards the other inhabitants found in Creation

Many people have a thousand reservations ready within themselves against the fulfilling of this condition

One of the most frequently mentioned reservations is that other people, through their ways of life, do not deserve reverence

Yet the greatness of a mature spirit is able to deal purely and objectively justly with all kinds of people

If only a man strives in his inner being for the volition for all-embracing good, then he will always find ways of dealing with the most manifold kinds of fellow-men without being unjust in it, or even by the smallest particle condemning, merely because his other fellow-men are not able to attain his own greatness

The judging of others is to be founded upon objectivity, not upon a differing view of single matters

This is something quite fundamental which now needs to enter into the earthly world of men as a part of the great spiritual enlightenment

Now the end has truly come of the age when want of objectivity and suppositions about others determined how individual people were dealt with, who were then designated as dangerous for this world, although in their inner being there was not the least ground of any real dangerousness

In them there was only a difference which sufficed for there to be grounds for suspicion and ill-will, which ethereally counts as exactly the same as the earthly stoning of those who broke out of the settled rules laid down by the ponderous intellectual comprehension of that wholly living manifesting of differences among men

That which is able to lift a man above the baseness of the crowds is the bestowing of reverence beforehand, ahead of all other knowledge of one's fellow-man

Reverence has its foundation in freedom from prejudice

Whoever is free from prejudice has within himself the best ground to remain objective towards everything and towards all people

Yet something of this kind only very few people are able to do today

And yet it should be the foundation for that so greatly needed circling of the cycle of radiation between individual people and between lands and nations

The Ray of Parzival with its power now begins to demand this of every man individually

We should therefore strive with all our strength to stand the test in it, for a great blessing for this whole world has a share in it

Every man can develop in it

It will be nothing but a beneficial strengthening for his own spiritual progress

No one stands above anyone, no one is to be a judge to another as to whether that one goes solely rightly towards the Light

That is because the only judge is the supremely Just Creator, who through his sent representative in Creation, Parzival, directs and judges the worlds and all the life contained in them

Those who arose in these worlds and endure in them are to learn to be always in the first place bearers of reverence towards the rest of life

Only thus will the blessed radiation of the Light, which mankind lacks today, be able to circle among men

It is therefore a condition for the further progress of mankind that it should become more ennobled above all in this, that each one strives for himself to stand in accord with the Harmony of Creation

Only through his own accord with this Harmony can he draw near to the others, so as to help them and to strengthen them on their upward path

By attaining this condition of accord such a man makes himself capable, through his independence, of being received by the Light into the ranks of those who take part in the cycle of radiation

The cycle of radiation bears within itself the promise of an important completion which of necessity curtails, for people who close themselves to such a thing, the possibility of a refreshing and often also accelerated ascent to the Light

The great spiritual enlightenment, now coming to earth in the Ray of Parzival, contains within itself all that is needful so that people striving for spiritual progress may find hitherto unknown possibilities for freely joining in the cycle of the circling radiation
