The Beginning of a New Ascent to the Light

THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – May 27, 2024

As the Festival of the Outpouring of the Power of the Holy Spirit draws near in its blessing, there draws near together with it also the possibility of a new beginning for all who long to make in their life a great turn towards a new existence filled with Light

It is in every respect the greatest opportunity for the unfolding of the capacities hitherto slumbering in the inner being of man

The greatness of the power bears within it a strengthening of the kindling for the spiritual spark, which so far, in the struggle with outer influences, has often only smouldered instead of shining with a bright flame

And precisely the power descending from the Grail bears within it, among other things, a likeness to the lightning of a storm, well known to all from nature, which conveys an immense quantity of force to those places on Earth that are best attuned in the homogeneity of electrical forces

In the same way the power contained in the influx from the Grail, which however is of a high spiritual kind, can at this time descend swiftly in a hitherto unprecedented measure to those people who bear within them the soil prepared for it

The influx of power can indeed be something upheaving if it finds a person open to it

The picture of the disciples of Jesus is the best proof of this

The coming power will be allowed to descend where the paths for it are best built and where the soil itself is made ready among the people on Earth

In this, as in everything else, the Law of the attraction of homogeneous species is surely at work

Full concentration in intuitive perception and in thoughts is the best way to receive a not inconsiderable measure of the blessing of the approaching power bestowed out of the inexhaustibility of the Divine fountainhead

At the same time the best that earthly man can give to this power filled with blessing is a complete immersion into accord with the swinging of the whole work of Creation

In other words it is an immersion into the living working of the Will of God, which always manifests in such a way that all happening is led along wise paths to the attaining of a joyfully full-valued existence of every creature that is open to the Will of God, and thereby to the noblest service of every inhabitant of the work of Creation

If only people were able to see it with their eyes even for a moment, they would have to tremble, for they would quickly recognise how different in reality this Will is, which they so often lay into their own words without knowing anything of the perfect wisdom working in it all

The immersion into accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation, the laying of oneself into the Will of the Creator, does not mean a dull surrender of one's own will, but it is always solely and only the highest personal exertion of one's own powers, so that a person himself may recognise what at the given moment is right and thereby creative, or what on the contrary is a volition that tears down the work woven of luminous forces in Creation

In today's world we can hardly say that anyone among the people on Earth experiences this state of a full accord with the whole of Creation, at the same time wholly conscious and above all willed voluntarily and joyfully out of his own inner being, as a lasting and natural part of his earthly life

Such an attunement would be quickly recognisable to other people, for it would lead to the awakening of a magnetic attraction, and that especially in a personal meeting with such a person

It would always be recognisable, because such a meeting could not leave other people undisturbed and indifferent

This is because the state of complete accord with the higher Harmony in Creation is for this mankind something so remote that it would automatically appear at once as something exceptional

This can serve everyone as a touchstone for judging himself, as to how far he himself works with other people in so living a vibration of his spirit that through him there may flow into the places where he is only a peacefulness full of deep peace and a clear objectivity, which nevertheless bears within it the presence of forgiveness and of help to others

Such in his foundation should also be every person who today longs to serve God and the Light on Earth

Herein lies also the enabling to recognise what from the Light is regarded as the working of a mature spirit

A mature spirit is a concept closely bound up with the Will of God, for these are for the human spirit two inseparable parts of his fulfilling in Creation

The spirit cannot fulfil the Will of God, that is, be in accord with the Harmony which creates unceasingly and completely, if at the same time he is not himself so mature within as to work always in conscious volition as a living anchorage on Earth for the radiation of the Light, with all the accompanying manifestations bound up with it

Mature is therefore only that spirit which at the same time acts purely, and thereby upon all its planes of existence, in full accord with the Light

If then the planes of existence are spoken of, there belong here not only the spiritual inner being but also the impulses of the soul arising out of its momentary wishes and desires, and also the thoughts and deeds in the earthly world

A mature spirit will always stand upon these planes in the completeness of himself in equilibrium, forming out of himself a channel for the strengthening of all the helps and reinforcements that can stream through him from the heights of Creation

It will then surely not be possible for him to act so as to cause disharmony, and that not even where it might perhaps be connected with his own defence, if in the result it would be to the detriment of the great Harmony of the work of Creation

Something of the kind necessarily leads beyond all the narrowly earthly motives that the majority of people have had until now

Looking back into history, there are only few spirits who in their earthly life attained such a degree of maturity

These are clear proofs which especially in the present time are necessary for all people to understand, so that they may recognise ever more distinctly where the connection with the Light is to be found and where it is not

And if this holds everywhere else, then it holds all the more in connection with everything that is directly bound up with the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

However much delusive notions are nourished by individuals emerging again and again, that their use of strong concepts torn out of the work the Grail Message against other people in order to condemn them, their appropriating of high spiritual names, their pressing of hereditary claims, or perhaps also a partial popularity within closed circles of adherents, are proofs of their exceptional standing, and that precisely thereby these individuals gain a spiritual pre-eminence over the rest, in the Laws of Creation it holds that such endeavours can never replace something so important as precisely the living connection with the Light, which is the first condition for a mature service to God

Alas, these ways are nevertheless still being practised among those who have come to know the work the Grail Message, and they still repeatedly meet with a response, for the individuals mentioned as a rule work upon multitudes of inwardly insecure and unfree people

Inwardly free and self-assured people will always reject anything of the kind

Therefore, among other reasons, no greater flourishing of all the endeavours around the work the Grail Message in a wider activity on Earth could come about, for from the Light there can never come support for anything that stands against the Laws of the Creator

Everything bound up with notions filled with wishes and burning desires to excel above others should long since have been laid aside as that "old" which can never enter the new time

It is only to the detriment of the cause, for a pure activity needs on the contrary to proceed from the lessening of the human spirit if his readiness for the Light is to stand out

May the attitude of Zoroaster in his seeking of service to the Light become a model in this direction today

To be unimportant allows one's own radiation of the Truth to come forth

The patience of the spirit leads to concentration upon the connection with the Light, as was ultimately the case with all the great spirits who served in the various stages of this Earth's history in faithfulness to the Creator

And today it is surely a matter here of something far higher still, which lies in the living connection with the Ray of Parzival

The maturity of a spirit that is placed in the service of the Light therefore bears within it a swinging of an entirely different kind from what is ingrained in the expectations people have had until now

They are values shining through quiet patience and kindliness, and that is something entirely other than that exercise of earthly lordliness mostly sought after until now, which in the old manner of thinking is still connected by people with service to the Light

True wisdom does not heed the voices of people, but in the first place there stands for it always the complete immersion into the Harmony of the Creator, which alone bears within it the prospect of upbuilding, because only thus can the great living connection with the heights be maintained, from which new inspirations may flow and thereby blessing for the ways out of all earthly distress

In the description thus drawn it is now easily evident to every person that it is something especially precious and lofty which needs to be attained by the individual who now longs to rise higher, so that he may draw near to the state which signifies that he is a mature spirit permanently in accord with the Will of God

It is no religious rapture, it is no feverish raving after something not even partly rightly understood by man, but it is precisely that which today is for the most part lacking in the people on Earth – the simple fulfilling of the most basic human virtues in conjunction with the knowledge of the living manifesting of the all-wise Harmony of God in Creation

The starting foundation therefore begins for everyone in the fulfilling of the beatitudes of Jesus

Everything else comes only after that, and it can never be replaced by anything

Alas, this is remote for many people, for many are unbalanced within themselves with their unclosed scars of the soul, which constantly hold them fast in past mistakes and do not let them move further

To the keen eye of an observer, however, this is always visible at first glance

It is therefore possible to speak of people struggling at various stages with their weaknesses and with their unfinishedness in spiritual maturity, which of course belongs to this Earth, but in such cases it is not yet even possible to speak of a lasting connection with something so living as precisely the Will of God in Creation

Although all this is quite far from fulfilling the concept of a mature human spirit, such people are nevertheless precious, yet solely and only in their manner of struggling with their faults, and that when they do so in their perseverance purely and genuinely

In the result every such spirit striving towards the Light is to be looked upon with the kindliness and patience that should belong to one who honestly strives for the becoming luminous of his inner being

And that even if he perhaps errs in his judgments or in his conduct

All people can and should work upon themselves so as to prepare the best soil for receiving the higher streams which descend in a constant refreshing through the work of Creation down here too into the depths of the materialities

Alas, the struggle of the majority is so far waged mostly only upon the surface, it does not go to the very foundation of the spirit, that is, to the realising of what really benefits the spirit in its strengthening and becoming luminous and what on the contrary are only thousandfold endeavours in secondary matters, which do not lead upwards but only bind the concentration to the fleeting present of earthly happening

In these thousandfold endeavours the spirit of man cannot find an anchorage in the Light, for there is too much disturbance around him for that, without his being aware of it through the earthly intellect

The result is then a lasting unrest, past faults constantly returning, and above all there goes with it a necessary exhaustion of the inner forces, for their main supply to the spirit is throttled and does not allow the Light to enter the weakened inner being, which alone in its sufficiency can bring change

Many, in spite of this struggling, throw themselves with new courage towards new days in order at last to move their spirit higher towards the beneficent Light

But even he who is already at least partly further on with this still easily falls into taking part in the wanting to change this world after his own image, that is, into the asserting of his notions of how the world should look and how people in it should live according to his comprehension of seemingly great ideals

All this is a scattering of forces which must necessarily dissolve in trivialities whose worth is not by even a particle worth it in comparison with the high goals that can be attained if the human spirit in his maturity really walks the paths laid before him by the Wisdom of God

A closing of oneself to all the din and roar from the outer world is therefore called for, so that the calming of the surface of the lake of inner equilibrium which every person carries within him may be reached more swiftly

This means freeing oneself from everything outward and for a certain time concentrating one's spirit upon the true great goal of a noble service to the Light

And precisely the coming Festival of 30 May 2024 brings within it a great opportunity to begin with this procedure, so beneficial for the most precious thing, that is, for one's own spiritual maturity

Contained in it is the promise of the beginning of a new existence in the whole completeness of man

This always manifests in a magnetic attraction which penetrates from within outwards as the radiance of human openness, of reverence and above all of objective conduct in truthfulness in all that a person does

That is the beginning, conditioned by the Light, of a pure participation in the present happening of great changes

The beginning of the true path to the attaining of spiritual maturity, which in this upheaving time is so important for the individual and for the whole earthly world, when everything of the past is collapsing and on the horizon the promised enlightenment is already rising

This enlightenment, however, may come only to those who rightly prepare within themselves their receiving capacities for everything new

It means to cleanse oneself, to become luminous, and in a living everyday piety to consecrate the altar built to the Holy God within one's inner being

This procedure is the condition for the beginning of a new existence

It is also the promise that here in the end there will really soon appear spiritually mature people who quite simply and automatically will intuitively perceive and also together weave the threads leading to the Earth from the heights of the Divine Harmony

Therewith will come the beginning of the time so much looked for by many, yet not so far attained, because the majority lack the needed free forces for their spirit

A free and joyfully fulfilled participation in this weaving of the threads is the condition for the beginning of all the happening so far only sensed

On Earth there are many human spirits bearing within them great aptitudes for swiftly attaining a complete maturity in the recognition of their task in Creation

In many all this is covered within them by only a quite thin band

For many the time from the present Festival to the following September Festival of the Pure Lily, that is, a time of three earthly months, would suffice for it

But because the forces are squandered in side directions, the so needed awakening in a complete understanding of what a mature spiritual existence means does not come about

Therefore all secondary and constantly distracting things need first to be laid aside

Everything important for the spirit is to be lifted up and brought to the surface as the most precious thing over which a person disposes in his deciding

Thus in absolutely everything that belongs to life there is to be present the living intuitive perception and, necessarily bound up with it, a fervent and noble piety

That is the same soil which the disciples of Jesus had within them at the time of that Pentecost

Only upon this soil can the luminous power from the heights of the Grail descend in homogeneity, to open an accelerated path to spiritual maturity within man

Something of the kind can and should be fulfilled in the deepest inner being of man

It should not even be spoken of with anyone, nor should it be the subject of conversations and reflections, which as a rule slide into superficial side matters and draw off the power needed for concentration

Only the person himself within himself, in the full spiritual opening of the arms of his spirit, is to take part in it, so that the sacred purity which is the condition for it may be stained by nothing

"O man, keep within you the innermost relation to the Creator in sanctity, protected from the incomprehension of the rest of the world, so that afterwards, when it has ripened, you may bring forth from it the most abundant fruit for all the other life around you"

In such an attunement may the dove of the Holy Spirit appear to everyone who fervently asks for it

A single vibration passing through the whole essence of a person will then be that likeness of the lightning known from the animistic working in the world of nature

In this gliding of power to a person there is then contained everything for his transformation, and thus for the beginning of a new existence

It rests with him alone, if he experiences something of the kind, to make full use of the power afterwards in the following days, weeks and months

The power, when rightly tended, will not grow weaker in him, but on the contrary will strengthen and well up, to the state where it can no longer be held back

Afterwards it will be able to begin to radiate simply and freely, confirming that the one with whom such things happen is indeed ever more connected with the vibrancy of the great Harmony in the work of Creation

He will then be able to be marked visibly by the Light, even for wholly uninitiated people and to their great surprise, as a mediator suddenly found for them, a pure and simple servant of the Lord

His paths will then go in the direction shown to him simply and distinctly by that Will of God as yet unrecognised by people, which administers all happening in Creation

Set apart, and yet more bound to people than ever before, he will be able to be a giver of the living Light, which through him will be able to stream at every moment

What bliss there is in this for the human spirit can so far only be sensed

But nevertheless it is something possible and for the coming time also something needed, for it is a conditioning part of the promised enlightenment being able to be brought down ever more from the heights to the Earth

That enlightenment which will not come in strife nor through the depriving of the will of some people by others, but by means of the knowledge of the Creator and of His work of Creation, which will bear within it the force of the magnetic attraction of a living enthusiasm that will flow from it for all human spirits as the most natural source of answers to all the questions that have hitherto been oppressive

And precisely this magnetic attraction is to be awakened in those people who long to be the first to walk in the footsteps of the now approaching enlightenment of mankind

For strengthening in this there now offers itself to all the opportunity bound up with the hitherto unrecognised significance of the Festival of the Holy Grail, at which the all-quickening power strengthened by Imanuel pours in

A power which may descend down to the places where it finds a close homogeneity

It is then to be wholly turned to account for the great transformation and for the completing of that degree of maturity at which the longed-for noble service to the Light may then begin

That is the service in which there is a gradually ever strengthening influx of Light for everyone who lays himself with his spirit into accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation

For those who at the Festival now meet in openness the radiation streaming through the work of Creation from the heights of the Grail, several helps are already prepared on the Way of the Grail, which will always be given in response to the earnest interest of those who long to be part of the approaching happening that brings the enlightenment

Further prospects concerning this will yet be brought

But now the starting point for all this is a complete opening of oneself to the streaming of the life-giving wave from the Grail

Let this first be fully experienced inwardly by everyone

The greatest help and support is now given to it by all the servants of the Light who are above the materialities

The Ray of Parzival has formed a path which for a long time has not been here in such a measure

Let everything therefore in the coming time be fully used for the ascent of individuals and of the whole Earth
