It is strange that the attention of the greatest part of men is directed only in one direction, and that alas in the direction which is the wrong one

The direction which appears to the earthly intellect as the most important is withal, from the viewpoint of the Light, that which leads away from the needful spiritual receptivity

The earthly attention is fixed upon the outward events which move men, because for them these are matters visibly taking place upon their earthly plane

Thereby men suppose that they are rightly directing themselves upon the most important thing, and many even regard themselves as knowers of the situation who stand higher above the others in their delusion that they know very much about the events taking place, that they are initiated into them

It is a sorrowful picture of the earthly world and of the greater part of the men who move within it

Apart from a small host of the inwardly more living, who form an exception in their honest endeavour always to look somewhat further ahead, the men of this world are wholly immersed in their earthly interests, and with a feverishness proper to them they occupy themselves with that which is but a small offshoot of the great gearwork of all the parts of the work of Creation

It may be said that these men are in reality always far behind with their attention in comparison with the serious happenings which are truly fulfilling themselves around them

They, however, realise nothing of all this, because they concentrate narrowly only upon the outward earthly condition around them

That work is also carried on by the invisible forces of Creation beyond the boundary of this outward world, of this for the most part no one is aware, for that invisible serious happening never comes to the attention of men before it becomes a visible event of the earthly world

Thus almost no one realises that at the moment when men are strongly experiencing some earthly events, at that same moment there are already being prepared by the animistic servants entirely new events, which however are at this moment not yet perceptible for the greater number

It may be said that that happening which is already now made ready in the fine weaving of the animistic servants does not as yet exist at all for the greatest part of mankind

The threads are brought hither and beneath the radiance of the Light they are prepared for the next degree of strengthening

This strengthening is therefore that with which men should seriously occupy themselves, for it will in the end bring far more emphatic manifestations also in the earthly visible world

Men, however, heed it not, because they are convinced that they are now dealing with the most important things

Yet that which is for men the most important, which they experience as decisive and upon which, in the mutual collisions and frictions around it, they are already in part being judged spiritually, all this is in fact, from the viewpoint of the animistic working, only the grossly material, automatically fulfilling echo of their previous work

When we look at what today moves the events of men, then he who beholds the work of the animistic servants must smile, for from the viewpoint of their work men seek to settle happenings which have long since become the past, instead of preparing themselves inwardly for that which newly draws near and which only awaits the right setting of the stars in order to glide into the visible happenings in the gross materiality

If men were to occupy themselves with that which is truly already close before them, they would not need to devote so much of their strength to things which appear to them serious and important from the standpoint of social happenings, but which in reality, in the sequence of the happenings, are already now well-nigh without object

He who is permitted to behold the threads which are now woven by the exalted Vaenen with admirable exactitude, so as to bring to men a new degree of the strengthening of the radiation of the Light, he must see much of that which men today feverishly discuss in social and also in political conversations quite otherwise than the general view of it holds

The pressure which is drawing near will wholly throw out of the saddle everything that now appears as causing men the greatest difficulties, and which, however, against the events that are to come, will suddenly seem like a laughable occupying of oneself with childish squabbles over trifling things

Those who today cry out the loudest and call for justice in the delusion that something of their former rights is being curtailed, they will suddenly experience what a constriction lies therein when upon their human spirit there falls the pressure of the real Justice of God

And this Justice of God is now drawing near to mankind, in order imperceptibly to enter their homes, into their closest nearness, when the inner being of every man will be wholly illumined in the demand as to how he, in his spiritual fitness, is of benefit for the whole of the work of Creation

It will be the affair of no one else, but it will be solely the own experiencing of every single man under the pressure of the Light, which will enter with man even into the very last folds of his soul garment

The threads are so set that in the end everyone will have to stand the test therein wholly alone for himself

And men today still know nothing at all of these threads, although they are already around them and also within them themselves and already now form the connection with many happenings which will strike both bodily and intellectual health, and no one will be able to say that someone else is to blame for this condition of his

Whoever might wish to lay the blame upon others, he will experience a strengthening of the pressure to the point of unbearableness, when he will be crushed to the very verge of his being and not-being

In such a condition many a one will find himself quite unexpectedly, overnight, and it will be his struggle alone whether he stands the test therein or not

This and much else besides is rolling towards mankind, and mankind as a whole is occupied, as always for whole millennia, with things which are entirely secondary, which only draw off the needed forces that should be used for the rebirth in spirit and in body with every one of men

It is a squandering of all that is needful which man has within himself for this as abilities and gifts, if he now still occupies himself with outward things far beyond the sea, or even only across the street with his neighbour, while his own spiritual being is threatened in the most fundamental manner

Everything that man bears within himself as good and noble predispositions he now needs without any delay to bring to readiness, for if precisely therein he squanders the forces of the spirit upon indignation and upon occupying himself with nothingnesses, then the needed strengthening will not come to him when the Justice of God presses upon his own little threads of fate

What he will not be able swiftly to lay aside and to loosen, what remains in him unfinished upon the way of the inner liberation, that will become for him a great weight which will drag him downwards, and there will be the danger that the surrounding pressure of the Light will crush him spiritually

In inward tension he will thereafter reproach himself for every moment which he dearly squandered upon things that from the earlier view seemed important, such as for instance the murmuring against some social rules

If he inwardly intuitively perceives that he still bears upon himself threads of fate that are too heavy, which hold him back from the upward flight to the Light, then he is to regard the settling with these threads as the most important thing

Without hesitation he is to set about the loosening and the laying aside of them

He is to burnish the lamp of his spirit, so that it may shine with a pure receptivity towards the Will of God, which is ever the most authoritative that should fill the human spirit

In the nobility of his conduct he is then to walk in harmony with this Will, so that it may direct him and move him forward in the experiencing of joy and of victory everywhere whither he then sets his foot

If he stands in the most living harmony with this Primordial Will of God vibrating in the Laws of Creation, then it will itself help him in such a way that it will appear like a miraculous working around him

This Will will break the way forward for him and he will walk through doors which the power of the Laws itself opens for him, and that even there where other men will strike against obstacles and will come no further

The protection and the help of God's blessing now unfold from the inward pure and humanly noble attunement of the spirit in man

Where his connection with the Will of God dwells together with man, there everywhere everything that would set itself in the way will in the end give way

It is, however, not the victory of man, but it is the victory of the Will of God, with which he had before fully merged, so that he could vibrate with it in harmony through the purity and the maturity of his spirit

Before no one is he to exalt himself, and likewise he is never to abase himself and to writhe in fear before other men who perhaps outwardly represent earthly preponderance and power

First, however, he himself needs in honourable striving to settle within himself with everything which, like bad habits and weaknesses, still hinders the said harmony with the Will of God working in the Laws of Creation

For this he needs to strain within himself all his inner forces, for the Vaenen and the other animistic servants have already now made ready for the happenings in the earthly world that degree upon which they will bring into the threads of men a new Power of the Light out of the radiant Ray of Parzival

This means, in other words, that the Holy Judgment of God has again drawn a piece nearer to this Earth in its fulfilment

Thus also will this Judgment work in many further happenings, which from the standpoint of the animistic working will again be only accompanying events, but which men will regard as the most important, because of the way in which they will touch them, for the Will of God will now manifest itself also in the activity of the animistic servants in the elements

There are many happenings which are already made ready and men know nothing thereof

Therefore they still concentrate upon things which, however, will ere long appear in retrospect as a futile and foolish striving

Many live in fear and in anxiety for their present condition

This condition, however, will soon undergo a great change

Thus will it be with all men, and not even those will be exempted from it who today suppose that they may decide over others in their limited conceptions about the course of the world

Already now all the endeavours of those men are crushed by the Light who bear within their inner being the temptation to dominate their neighbours and to rob them of their freedom for their own distorted satisfaction

By a hard blow of the High animistic servants all the base strivings of men will be crushed who even now suppose that they wield some power and have some influence

How foolish this small human puffing-up looks against the power which is drawing near and which will dissolve in its glowing heat like wax all the doings of those men who still think upon their supposed greatness

In the end all that which men now regard as threatening their freedom and against which they strive with all their strength to defend themselves will show itself to men as wholly secondary and as robbing them of precious time, which very soon they will lack for awakening in time and for changing themselves in that which is truly important

All the strength of every human spirit is now to be strained for his own inward spiritual purification

There is nothing more important in the present time

Everyone needs to do this who does not wish to be cast out and destroyed at the last, like an empty ear of corn in the field

That which he must do no one else can do for him, not even those who truly love him and who would otherwise be willing to sacrifice everything for him

In the most important time upon the Earth everyone will remain alone for himself

Therefore he himself needs to gain for himself his inward liveliness and the freedom of the spirit, because no one else can do it in his stead

If, however, he lays all his strength in the right direction, then he will discover that spiritual movement is the most glorious and also the most natural condition that can arise for man

In the ever stronger vibrating together with the Light his inner being will become luminous and will grow stronger, as it is always to be when the spirit unfolds within itself nobility and maturity

If only men saw that real happening which is already taking place above them and close around them, then they would tear themselves away from the observing and the criticising of things which, from the standpoint of the great question of their being, are wholly without object

All the volition of man is to be directed towards his own advance, towards the becoming luminous and the ennobling of himself

What will it profit man if in the end he who now rules over him and whom he criticises is automatically swept away by the effect of the great Laws of Creation working in the fulfilment of the threads of fate, and if he himself in the end enjoys nothing of the new outward freedom, because he too will at the last be torn away from his being on account of the neglect of the work upon the unlovely qualities which have fastened themselves upon him, and with which he has done nothing for whole millennia

Why then do men not wish to think more in the connections of the knowledge which they have in the Grail Message and which yet clearly shows them the signposts of the way along which they are to walk

They are to direct all their forces upon their own purification and becoming luminous, and for this they greatly need that keen and uncompromising gaze of theirs which they now direct above all upon others

Only he who strives that the Light may be able to abide with him, only he will gain for himself, in the coming happenings which are already wholly made ready, the needed helps and strengthenings for his own battle

All else will become a plaything in the power of the threads set in the highest Justice by the exalted Vaenen

Precisely through these threads there will pass the ever mightier radiation of the Ray of Parzival

Blessing will incline itself towards those who recognise all this and also rightly make use of it in the time which is now approaching
