THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – October 8, 2020

The Way of the Grail creates a helping stream of forces for everyone who longs to walk through life ever more consciously, in the ever clearer recognising of the Word of Truth

Through the spreading of the recognition of the Word of Truth, the Way of the Grail creates a support for all those spirits who perceive that momentous happening which is now taking place over the whole earth

The Way of the Grail is here for all knowing men, in order to summon them to a still greater earnestness in the recognising of the connections concerning life

It incites to the examining of and the occupying oneself with matters which to many a knowing one already seemed to be a finished, complete recognition, without his being able at all to imagine that something further could still come which would unfold that which exists into further steps of recognition

It is like the working of a magnifying glass, when by the shifting of the wheel upon the runner of the stand that which is examined is brought nearer, so that it may yield a wholly new dimension which until then remained hidden

And precisely this new thing is a summons to matter-of-fact examining, so that everything may be worked through and added to the register of the hitherto recognition of Creation

He who supposed that he had perhaps already recognised Creation wholly, and that it could enrich him with nothing out of its inexhaustible manifoldness of layers, has formed his picture too flattened and rigid, his conceptions came to a halt upon a step of a certain superficiality, and into the matter there mingled itself the intellect, which leads every man to superficiality without the participation of intuitive perception

Superficiality, however, leads to the ease of the spirit and alas also still to the pride of the intellect, it leads to a peculiar state in which such a man sets himself in the position of a holder of great knowingness, without, however, being able to bring this to a visible blossoming in a meaningful, helping turning to account for himself and for other men

Thereby it may be said that in reality such a man only soothed himself with the supposition that he knew much, but it was not really so, because if a high recognition really dwelt within him then he would also surely know that a real knowledge of Creation leads only to humility and modesty, and to the highest striving of the spirit in the helping of others, not to the exalting of oneself above others

And there is withal here so much, so very much of that which here on earth we truly do not yet know, for the treasury of Creation is inexhaustible

Man here on earth should always be in a certain preparedness of spiritual livingness for the possibility that there may come into his path something which he himself no longer even expects of himself

If he does so, then in the humility of his spirit there may always come to him a new, refreshing recognition out of the Light

That is a lawful happening in Creation

This Law builds upon mobility, which alone can bring the new, which joins itself to that which is already finished and existing

The recognition of the many connections and happenings in the great Work of Creation is inexhaustible, here on earth then concealing within itself for man ever new prospects and pictures

Therefore there is now the opportunity that, in the influx of further new recognition which offers itself for help, the spirit of many knowing ones may again awaken and become anew mobile in the right manner of his own exertion

The Way of the Grail is now a new stream bringing movement into the spiritual work

The examining and the forming of pictures about new connections is to become that most genuine exertion for the strengthening of the flame of the spirit of every man who strives for progress

The Way of the Grail descended to the earth as a helping hand extended therein for all

Until now almost none of those who come to the helping, knowledge-widening texts of the Way of the Grail have reflected why precisely a year ago this call rang out

No one has seriously considered that it could really be a call summoning the knowing spirits to set themselves in movement at the last moment before the coming grave happening

This happening is coming

Everyone can see it around himself, for already a few months after the entry of the Way of the Grail into a visible place of this earthly world, there began to take place worldwide events such as had not been here before in many of the last decades

Why this sequence is here, no one today reflects more deeply, for men always need a greater distance from the present experiencing in order that they may judge it more rightly

It was ever thus before at the great events of the happening of the Light on earth, and it is no otherwise even now

The Light sends helps to the earth in the times of the greatest changes of the turning-point

Therefore it is possible to find the appearing of the Way of the Grail immediately before the happening which seemingly all at once began to unfold

But the Way of the Grail is not that which calls forth these changes

It is not so, and so it is not to be regarded

The real happening is the following

In the intuitive sensing of the urgency of the approaching radiant Ray of Parzival, the Way of the Grail came immediately before these changes, as a call to the awakening of all the knowing ones who have the Word of Truth

In this respect the Way of the Grail is a help which, however, will for the greatest part be valued only in retrospect, and even then only by those who hear this call and also use it for full spiritual movement in progress forward

For the others the Way of the Grail is not, for there is here no time for the usual superficial hair-splitting of men who suppose that their critical attitude is to be decisive for the further development of the world

For such critical judging of men there is no longer even a little time, and no longer are the forces of the spirit of any man to be squandered upon it, that he should seek to refute something and to convince those who suppose that they know it better

All the striving of knowing men is now to be directed only to one single thing – to the untiring seeking of the way to the great service of the Light, and thereby also to the helping of other men, who will only yet awaken with their inner being under the pressure of events

Precisely for this untiring striving the Way of the Grail is here for help, in order freely and unconstrainedly to support the human spirit towards his own strengthening and towards the ascent

The texts of the Way of the Grail direct themselves only to this one goal – to the spiritual strengthening of the individual upon his path towards the Light, to his support upon this path, which is to lead in the most direct possible direction towards the luminous home

The Way of the Grail brings a call, summoning to the awakening of the greatest possible multitude of spirits, who first need themselves to be freed out of the enslaving fetters which have oppressively laid themselves around their hitherto directing in life, so that afterwards, awakened and made luminous in spirit, they may gradually and freely range themselves into the helping streams of the Light, in whose vibrations they will offer their own enlivened abilities for the help of their neighbours, who will perhaps awaken to spiritual seeking only a moment later than they themselves

There is therefore also no ground here for a receptive relishing of texts which bring the offering of new pictures and prospects, but it is to be a summons to every earnestly striving spirit to the highest independent reflecting and acting

The Way of the Grail leads to the Grail Message, it leads to this, that its readers should occupy themselves anew with things which they supposed they had already worked through out of the lectures of the Grail Message, yet these things were often only in part intuitively perceived and after a time were again pushed away into a quiet corner, as something which was no longer suited for everyday use

It is well if many feel themselves roused out of their quiet, into which, after the initial period of their livingness at the first reading of the Grail Message, when their spirit came alive to the highest measure of mobility, they again laid themselves down in a certain state of the “lethargy of the knowing ones”, who wait in their separateness from other men until it will at last be “released” from the Light for this world

Away with the thought that waiting is the one right result of how the Word of the Grail Message is to be turned to account by the knowing man in life

Away with this visionary conception that in such a way anyone is protected more than others

In the movement which is setting in and which will still set in, everything will be stirred up in every man, and to his unexpected astonishment there will appear in him many things which he no longer at all expected could still be in him

It will show itself, thus with more than one, that he slept away much time which should have been used with the highest striving for the living unfolding of the abilities of his spirit

It will come to him and it will demand that he prove himself in the most genuine expression of spiritual humanity, in which are contained all the virtues and integrities in dealings with other men

Then he will find that he can face it all only with the highest movement of his own, when any maxims formed out of the Truth, which remained only in the intellect and did not become the possession of the spirit, are reckoned to him rather as a burden in his threads of being

Without mobility of the spirit he will strike against a wall which will not let him further, which will cast him out of his hitherto conceptions about the worth of his own person

The mobility of the spirit rests only in intuitive perception, in the living experiencing of every moment of life with the consciousness that whatever man, in the fulfilment of the words of Jesus, does for other men, what he does in pure striving, in self-sacrifice and in the setting in of his forces for the outer world, is in truth only and solely that which he can do for himself

For this men received the Message from the Grail, precisely for this, that they might awaken in spirit and become pleasing to God in the manner in which unselfishly and with simple humility they go through life, as those who transform their knowing into wise help for their neighbours

Many will set themselves in opposition to the movement which the Way of the Grail brings

Yes, already now it is possible to expect the arguments of many with whole collections of citations as to what and how it is written about the helping of others in the Word of the Grail Message

Let them calmly do so, if it fulfils them in some way

Even in indignant disagreement there is a portion of movement, if this movement issues out of the endeavour after matter-of-factness and genuineness in the striving after an honourable getting to the core of the matter

Such indignation is then in order, for any occupying oneself with high concepts, if the indignation really flows out of the inner spiritual impulses of man, now attracts to itself the forces which stream from the radiant Ray of Parzival to the earth

Thereby everything is only hastened and fulfilled

Even such movement is therefore welcome and in the result always serves only for the victory of the Light

Also thereby, then, the Way of the Grail brings help, for any movement, even though it be in disagreement, is more valuable than motionless inert rigidity, which in false suppositions of a certain promise of rescue directs itself only to the spiritual decline of man

Let therefore the texts on the Way of the Grail be also in this manner a summons to movement, to zealous work of the spirit, be the initial impulses thereto whatever they may

He, however, who really and honestly seeks may find in the texts of the Way of the Grail, with his pure intuitive perceiving, help beforehand for himself and for others

In a creative and joyful setting of his thoughts he can then turn everything to account for himself in the assembling of the mosaic of the recognition of the greatness and splendour of the Work of Creation

His thoughts can then, already in the very work of assembling the answers to the questions emerging in his inner being, work in such a kind that they will break a path for others

That will bring to himself only blessing, for the braking and ponderous threads around him can in such a setting more swiftly unravel themselves and can be laid aside, so that there remain bound with him at the last only luminous and pure threads which lead the spirit upward

Precisely into such threads the Vaenen, the exalted weavers of the paths of fate of us men, can now add a certain portion of blessing, and also of grace, which without doubt every man striving for his ascent towards the Light will use in joy

The direction of thinking which strives after honourableness and nobility of character is always creating, and thereby it can gain in strengthening out of the high streams of Light which now in a strong current direct themselves to the earth

The Way of the Grail is here for this, that it may lead to the independent reflecting of many men who strive for progress upon their spiritual path towards the Light

Only independence, and the inner certainty and conviction born in this independence, have now worth for man

Also out of this independence there can gradually emerge a new kind of responsibility, which afterwards must manifest itself as a new power, hitherto unrecognised, in the deciding of man

He who is really knowing will not let himself be manipulated, nor will he take over the opinions of others as his own until he finds in them his own proving and thereby also his inner assent

Many are the things which men take over unthinkingly and thereby join their personal responsibility to attitudes which are not and cannot be their own

With this man can deal in one single manner

Through his own striving in the livingness of his inner working with the spirit

Every moment of the day should now, in this grave time on earth, be filled with the livingness of the spirit

The spirit then manifests itself above all in noble kinds of thinking and of dealing towards other men

And precisely to such a manner of life the Way of the Grail gives strengthening, and brings the recognition of connections, so that there may be attained movement and nobility of character in the working of men who are to bear the highest demand upon the worth of honourable humanity, which is always inseparably contained in the designation of those who are called knowing, because they are permitted to recognise the Truth

The Way of the Grail mediates a movement which helps man to make his own the abilities leading to the recognising of the Truth

Let everyone exert himself in the movement of his inner being, which is always solely healing and helping
