The time before the dawn is wont to be filled with the heaviest darkness

Thus upon this Earth also there still lies now, for many people, a shroud of darkness over all that is spiritual

It is so because the concepts spirit and spiritual are enveloped in the ballast of the most varied human notions and fantasies about all that is above the earthly

What among men gives itself out as spiritual is for the greatest part only a straying in the twilight of the finer worlds

It also holds good generally that although men speak much of the spirit, the final goal of this concept is almost always sought in the earthly

The people who today call themselves spiritual for the most part seek the application of their good striving only in the earthly

They also expect that in the effects of the Laws in which they believe they will within a short time receive an earthly blessing as the result confirming the rightness of the path they have entered upon

It may therefore be said that in reality nine tenths of what is generally offered today as counsel and help to the man seeking spiritual values is directed towards this time of earthly existence

The endeavours to help men, however often they are of an honest kind, proceed from the earthly world as from the central point of all their attention

This state may truly be called a state of straying for the many who suppose that they walk upon a spiritual path

Refreshment to the spirit, however, can be brought only by that which in its origin comes from the planes above the Subsequent Creation and which also directs the human spirit towards his being in the endlessness of the luminous home, high above this universe

Only that which descends from the heights of the luminous parts of Creation above the material planes can now, in the time of darkness, bring strengthening and also power for the awakening to true spiritual life

This life-giving strengthening for the spirit is the Truth from the heights of the Grail, the Truth coming solely from the Holy God through the called envoys of the Light

Out of this Light of the Truth there may grow bright for the spirit the knowledge of his true home and of the way leading to this home

This way is then the true knowledge, which is to become for the spirit the equipment and the armour for all the stretches of his path

In the Grail Message there is the knowledge for all the parts of the path of the human spirit right up to the gates of his home in the Light

And because this way is described in the Message which was brought to mankind as its rescue out of the Grail, it is possible to call this way, which leads the human spirit upwards, the Way of the Grail

It is the Way of the Grail which leads and directs man in his walking through life towards the values that open for him the gate to an unending being in the spiritual home

Thus it is precisely this Way of the Grail which in the nearest time, when the darkness withdraws from the Earth under the Ray of Parzival and the dawning of the new age arrives, will be gratefully sought out by men, for it will be perceived ever more clearly that it is the true way, bearing within it the power to brighten the inner being of man into his highest spiritual luminosity

Men still surmise nothing of this, but long ago there was prepared out of the Light the liberation of spiritual life upon Earth through a message that was to bring the illumination of all the parts of the work of Creation and thereby also the becoming luminous of all that lies upon the path of the human spirit in the Subsequent Creation, through which he must wander in order to strengthen the radiance of his flame and to be able to return self-conscious into the blissful gardens of the spiritual paradise

This way was prepared for all the possible courses of the happening

In this the Ray of the Light led to readiness great hosts of those who were for this purpose to incarnate into the materialities, that through the knowledge received they might prepare the said way to the recognition of the Highest places in Creation, and thus also of the Grail itself, as the starting point of all life in Creation

In consequence of the fall of the human race upon Earth there had at last to come out of the Light the strongest helps that the materialities here were ever permitted to receive

The radiation of the Divine kind itself came upon Earth, in order, first as the radiation of the Love of God and thereafter as the radiation of the Justice of God, to clothe itself in an earthly covering in which it was permitted to draw near to men and to hand over, by the clearest direct way, the Truth in the purest form that the earthly world is able to bear

Thus through the radiation of Parzival himself, which incarnated in an earthly body, the human world was permitted to receive the knowledge of the Truth, which is for ever the starting point from which mankind will be permitted to draw, if it is granted to it to return in generations to this Earth in order to complete its development of the spirit

Those spirits who prove themselves worthy of preservation in their further development will in the time of the new dawn recognise and gratefully receive the Truth of the Grail Message as the starting point of their path of ascent

The Grail Message is the foundation stone brought down from the heights for all the future knowledge and recognition of men upon Earth

And precisely this knowledge of the Truth brought from the Grail will always be spread further by the servants called to it by the Light, so that the recognition which was promised long ago may come to its fulfilment

It will be a way carefully and faithfully maintained, which is never again to be lost and buried, so that the human spirits who still awaken with the dawning of the age, or who come again later to this Earth, may always ascend higher and higher in the strengthening of the spiritual flame of their spark

The knowledge with which only few people today are acquainted, and which through the kind of radiation it bears within it is still remote from many, will gradually become among men

that which is most precious of all

The Grail Message and the Truth contained in it will break through to the surface among men with the blessing of God and will wash away all that is inferior, which even today lies as the said ballast upon the path of the spiritual striving of men and confuses them with its fragmentation and with the bewilderment of a wandering groping in the dark

Like the radiant rays of the sun at the dawn of a new day, the Truth in the Grail Message will rise, to bring new power and new prospects of life for all those who recognise it and gratefully receive it

Thus in gradual steps this knowledge of the path of the spirit will become the new foundation of all that permeates human existence, so as to become an inseparable part of their knowledge about life

And thus the Grail Message will sink into the souls that long for knowledge, and through them it will enter into daily life as the equipment and the armour which everyone may use who lets this knowledge come into the nearness of his spirit, so that this spirit may absorb into itself the vibration of the clarity and the comprehension of what is and what is not really important for his path

The spiritual ascent through the Way of the Grail will become the most natural approach to life, because it will be recognised that in the pure and living comprehension of this way there lies hidden the blessing for all the thinking and the doing of men

And thereby there will begin an unprecedented ascent in individual men and in the whole of society, as men live with one another according to the knowledge of the Way of the Grail

The knowledge that even now is lacking even to the most striving spirits, for they too are still too heavily burdened by the intellect, will after a certain time become clear and evident to children, who will occupy themselves with it all enthusiastically in a new manner of learning that will replace the barren schooling of today

Today everything is still covered by the shroud of darkness, but upon the horizon the dawning draws near

The highest joyful enthusiasm is to flare up within those who are already permitted today to walk the Way of the Grail upwards to the Light

The knowledge they have gained is to become living in all the hours of the day

This world waits for the heroism that lies in the liberation of the spiritual inner being of these men, who have with them the Truth of the Grail Message and recognise it as their living conviction about life

The walls are to be broken through behind which the spirit is still bound, where the intellect working by inertia is the brake upon the joyful purity of the spirit in its walking through all the hours of life

The world waits for the liberating overcoming of the hereditary curse of intellectuality, so that through individuals and their liberated inner being other men may victoriously follow their own way to the Light

And the victory will come, for within those who are incarnated here upon Earth for the task of overcoming the thousand-year rule of the intellect there will now awaken a courage such as these men have not yet known in themselves

In the experiencing of the influx of the Light their spirit will rise to the courage and the heroism to overcome, with a mighty flaring up of the flame of its enthusiasm, all that sets itself as an obstacle to the living of life here upon Earth wholly out of the spiritual inner being, as it has long been resounding within them

The breakthrough will come, and the liberated spirit will all at once gain for itself, in a jubilant awakening, the mastery over the intellect and thereby also the mastery over all this world here

The intellect with its ways learned hitherto will remain set aside, and it will be permitted only to serve the spirit, as it should always have been upon Earth among men

Pure joy springing from the genuineness of the living through of the moment of the present will become that which brings an enthusiastic affirmation of life for whole hosts of men

In the liberation from the yoke of the burden of the intellect these spiritually awakened ones will all at once see the world around them as it is, and above all they will behold before them the way leading clearly and unshakably upwards to the Light – the Way of the Grail

Thereby there will at the same time awaken in them a joyful fervent prayer that will overflow into deeds, and they will walk purely and freely through their earthly life as spirits free of their karma, which for the greater part will be redeemed by this one single flaring up of the free spirit

With their opened sight they will behold the picture of the castle of the Grail in the heights, which, together with the circles of angels gathered about the towers of this luminous castle and adoring the Holy God, will be for them the sign of the fulfilment of the new covenant for their spirit

Then a new work will begin and everything in their life will be new already here upon Earth, for they will behold God in his work in all upon which their clear sight comes to rest

With them the knowledge of the Truth will penetrate everything that comes to them

Their spirit will grow still, and with them the hands of the Vaenen will be able in blessedness to weave nothing but luminous thoughts and deeds

All will then be paid off with these men, and they will live here upon Earth in joy for others, for their way will already be crowned and the steps upon this way will direct them straight upwards into the luminous heights

We stand close before the dawn of the new age

Courage in the spirit is called forth by the strengthening happening, as when the morning glow beyond the horizon calls the lark in advance to its song even before the coming day

The spirit is called to courage and to heroism

The spirit is to soar up and to sing the blissful song of the knowledge of God and of his work of Creation

And precisely for this recognition there will yet be permitted to come to this Earth much knowledge that until now remained hidden in the massiveness of the fundamental pillars of the Truth of the Grail Message

Ever finer, and reaching into the hidden layers of the connections, is to be the knowledge of those men who open their inner being for the receiving of the holy Wisdom of God, which penetrates Creation

And it is precisely out of this recognising of ever new degrees of wisdom that the Way of the Grail consists for the spirit

This way is here, it is forming itself in its liveliness, but at the same time it knows in advance that it will be wholly understood and received only by the generations to come, who will then with the joy of their spirit prize its fullness and the riches that it already brings now

Whoever already today recognises this gift out of the Light, which draws near to him through the Way of the Grail, let him take of it with full hands for the refreshment of his spirit

The Way of the Grail is here for him

In the giving of its riches it rejoices over all those who transform these riches into a real living of the present, which confirms that the men around the Grail Message who walk the Way of the Grail are the pure and nobility-filled People of the New Life here upon Earth
