Every human being carries within himself the capacity to attune his spirit to the world of the animistic weaving

This is possible through the cloak of the animistic kind which the human spirit bears upon himself as the primordial protection and equipment received for his working in the material worlds of the Subsequent Creation

The covering of animistic origin is for the human spirit the nearest of all coverings

The spirit receives it for himself as the first, delicate garment upon setting out on the path through the Subsequent Creation, in the animistic gardens which spread out upon the highest plane of Asgard

Into these gardens there descends from the nebulae of the spiritually unconscious belt in the spiritual planes as yet only the bare spark of the human being, which carries within itself the awakened vibration of an inward longing for conscious existence

Driven out of the spiritual worlds by its longing for mature self-consciousness, it descends to the places of those wide gardens irradiated by the peace-filled animistic weaving, so that here, clothing itself in the soft covering, it may begin the path towards the attainment of mature spirituality, when out of the spark there flashes up the bright flame of the spiritual personality of man

The spark which descends into the gardens surrounding the actual field of working of the Aesir and the Vaenen needs to receive the covering of the most nearly homogeneous cloak, which will enable it to proceed further into the materialities

This nearest-lying covering for the spiritual spark is the cloak of animistic substance

Here, then, in the gardens of the tender animistic forms, it receives its first covering, as a precious gift from the animistic servants for its further path

Although this covering bears within it a certain difference from the full animistic kind of radiation in which all the animistic servants work in the Subsequent Creation, yet we human beings have within us, thanks to this cloak, a portion of that substance which enables us to make our own, in plain simplicity, the knowledge of what the animistic world requires of us for harmonious accord and co-operation

It is therefore only a matter of the direction of our volition that this animistically homogeneous substance may unfold in us, so that here too, upon the earth, we may at last cleave more closely to the vibrations of the animistic kind

The animistic working is by no means so far removed from man as it appears today to the majority of people

The portion of animistic substance of the primordial delicate envelope of the spirit, which every human being has within himself, is precisely that fundamental bridge for a possible accord and co-operation of man with the animistic servants

Without the animistic covering mentioned the spirit could also not advance further into the denser divisions of the material planes which are prepared for him for the path of his natural development towards mature spiritual perfection, and therefore it may be said with certainty that there is no one among men who does not bear it within himself

There is not here upon the earth a single human being who is deprived of this kind of animistic substance, for everyone who has come this far, into earthly gross materiality, already has around his spirit all the necessary coverings of the animistic, of the ethereal kind of the soul, and also of the medium-material, astral kind

We may say that it holds with certainty: if a human being stands in a body upon the earth, then he most surely carries within himself all the cloaks which his inner spiritual spark needs for its development in the materialities of the Subsequent Creation

He therefore naturally has within himself, together with the primordial animistic covering, everything needful in order to perceive sufficiently clearly the world of the animistic working anywhere in the worlds of the Subsequent Creation

He who strives for a closer union with the animistic working needs only to sensitise rightly, in vibration, this animistic covering within himself

This can be attained only through the use of this covering, through its mobility

This use is now, in the present time, supremely needful and important for everyone, for it bears within it the one way out of the many hardships which are now rolling in upon the earthly world of men

With the setting in motion of the animistic cloak, which in its delicacy is wound about the inner spiritual core of man, there comes at once as an answer a clarified perceiving of the world of nature and thereby also of the animistic servants working around man in nature and in the universe

There unfolds immediately in man a greater comprehension of the wisdom which vibrates through the whole world of nature, which here upon the earth too stands always under the full administration of the animistic world

There comes the knowledge of all happenings in nature, with clear answers to the questions why these happenings are fulfilled and what significance they bear in the connections of the higher development in the universe

Every human being may now return to the attunement of accord with the principle of service in which all the animistic servants labour and work

If he does so in joyful volition, then in many things he will suddenly prosper, for harmony with the animistic weaving in matter always brings man blessing and the bestowal of help

The attuning to the animistic world rests upon a simple procedure – in the heightening of the inner receptivity of man to the manner in which the Laws of Creation work, which permeate all things and which bring to all happenings glowing, quickening and movement

By accord and co-operation with the animistic world there is therefore not meant here the beholding of the animistic servants as individual beings in their own form, but the condition for the beginning of the approach to the animistic world is always the heightened receptivity of man in the recognition of the operation of the Laws of Creation, which work upon all the steps of Creation and which are always guided by the faithful hands of the animistic servants

The recognition of the Law of Movement, the Law of Homogeneity, the Law of Gravitation and the Law of Reciprocal Action as the guiding tracks valid for all happening is at the same time the recognition of the work of the animistic servants in Creation

In this striving, in the perceiving and comprehending of the effects of the Laws of Creation, lies therefore the condition of the first accord with the working of the animistic, for the animistic is inseparably contained in the Laws of Creation in all places, indeed, in the fulfilment of its devoted service it is the direct bearer and upholder of these Laws in their living operation

What this signifies can be intuitively perceived by every seriously reflecting person who is able to draw near in his spirit to the essence of the true knowledge of the animistic servants

To draw near in intuitive perception to knowledge always means – to awaken in the spirit

Where man in humility respects the Laws of Creation, be it upon the material plane, upon the plane of the soul, or upon the spiritual plane, that is, in his deeds, his thoughts and his intuitive perceptions, there, if he maintains within himself an enduring accord with the said Laws of Creation, his striving will always meet with support, protection and blessing on the part of the animistic world

It cannot be otherwise, for the striving to attune oneself to the smallest as well as to the greatest manifestations of the Laws of Creation leads man in the end solely to accord with the animistic working, through which such a man is then automatically obedient to the Laws of God and draws nearer also to the knowledge of God Himself, Who is the Giver of all life in Creation

Without finding accord in the comprehension of the faithful service of the animistic servants, devoted to God, the human spirit can also not advance higher, so as one day rightly to recognise and comprehend all that is to be found in the spiritual worlds, above this part of the Subsequent Creation

The spiritual worlds will remain far from him until he fully experiences the Laws of the Work of God, which fulfil themselves through the labour of the animistic weaving in the Subsequent Creation

Man needs to find the harmonious union with the animistic working for two fundamental things – firstly, for the possibility of his own spiritual progress towards the heights of the Primordial division of the spiritual planes of Creation, and secondly so that he may now at all be able to survive here upon the earth all that stands close before him and comes now to fulfilment without further waiting

He needs to find and to recognise it, for therein lies the highest requirement for his advance forward in the development of the spirit, which withal bears within itself everything needful to master this progress, if only he himself wills it

The very covering of the spirit here mentioned, the nearest one, which is of the animistic kind, enables man to experience the miracle of harmony with the animistic working, of harmony with the Laws of Creation which are around him and within him himself

The Laws of Creation are contained in everything, in every particle of life, and this life may unfold and take form only through the support which comes to it through the operation of the Laws of Creation

For the spiritual spark of man itself also awakened to its consciousness solely within these Wise Laws, and it develops towards its mature participation in life solely and alone through their loving support

The path to the quickening of the said sensitive perceiving of the Laws of Creation lies therefore in the mobility and liveliness of the inner volition of man

He who longs for this inner spiritual quickening within himself will strive with all his strength not to let slip a single opportunity in which he may occupy himself inwardly with the working of the Laws of Creation

Where there is longing and striving after progress, there is also the way

However arduous, or perhaps even impossible, the beginning may appear, yet through the very Laws of Creation here mentioned there is granted the unshakeable certainty that harmony and co-operation with the animistic principle in nature and in the whole existence of man can be attained by every human being, if only he wills it and has within himself, together with humility, the needful patience

The inner volition within him will turn about the hitherto course of his thinking, and he will gradually press forward along new paths towards new prospects of his existence

Little by little all things will yield to the power of his spirit which he lays into the seeking and the strict respecting of the activity of the animistic servants

Accord with these forces will gradually bring him the complete winning over of all their help to his side

It may also be said that this accord with the forces of the high creative work of the animistic beings will open itself to him in the humility of his spirit, and he may thereafter draw from the enduring blessed union with these high streams of the animistic kind strengthening for his walk through life

The condition for union with the helping streams of the animistic is in the first place a pure, childlike humility welling up through living joyfulness out of the spiritual inner being of man

Entirely aside must remain the least calculation of the intellect, and likewise the desire to attain, by means of union with the animistic world, merely self-seeking influence for the enforcing of one's own conceptions and plans

Such reflections and expectations set themselves as an insurmountable obstacle in the way of finding accord with the animistic world

The animistic will never again stand towards the man of today with such trust as was the case long before the fall of mankind into the hereditary sin of intellectual calculation

In this its present attitude it is held by the protection from the Heights of the Primordial Creation, and the new conditions for the linking of man with the animistic weaving are determined with sharpness by the nearness of the Ray of Parzival

Only a pure and humble longing for the Light, upon the path towards ascent and liberation, upon which the spirit wishes also to find and to recognise the glorious gift of the possibility of harmony with the animistic principle, is the condition which man must fulfil, as a reborn creature seeking a way out of the confusion of the present time

This holds good upon the personal plane as well as upon that of society as a whole

It is not possible to expect a way out in any other manner of thinking and reflecting of men

All else is condemned beforehand to failure and to downfall

He who does not joyfully submit himself to this condition in complete comprehension will soon find nothing that could lead him forward upon his path to the Light, for this path is closely bound up with the recognition and the acknowledgment of the activity of all the animistic servants

Men must now, in their seeking of the help which can come to them from the side of the animistic working and bring refreshment and a way out, unfold the highest endeavour within their inner being

Only in the spirit of man lies the key to the ascent which can bring him to a renewed co-operation with the animistic world

This key, however, needs to be set in motion, by means of persevering effort in the seeking and recognising of the working of the Laws of Creation in all happenings in nature, in the elements, in the whole universe, and also in the life of man, in the recognising of that which leads to health and to blessing in life

He who exerts all his powers in this direction will most surely attain gradually to the heights of knowledge, which will bring him also the awakening to the glorious union with the animistic world

Then there will come alive in him, in full joy, the consciousness of what state of inner happiness accord with the animistic world brings him, which he will then behold, in its weaving, everywhere around him

He will behold the weaving of the animistic beings, and will at the same time recognise therein the omnipresent fulfilment of the great Laws of Creation

Of those Laws which took form out of the Loving Will of the Holy God, when through the emptiness of nothingness and darkness there resounded the sacred “Let there be Light!”
