Above the earth and above the whole universe there arches the ray of hope of the Light of God
It is the radiant Ray of Parzival, bringing now the liberation of the purified human spirit
The Ray of Parzival brings hope to all those who will yet awaken in their inner being and will recognise the way along which they are newly to walk through their life
This way is formed out of the recognising of all the connections of the true meaning of the being of man upon earth
The awakening to the inner opening of the eyes brings gradually the loosening from the dogmas of the thought-setting in the manner in which man has hitherto looked upon the world around him
Awakened men suddenly recognise that the greatest part of that which they today experience in the fulfilling of the earthly life they took over from without, that it was implanted in them by upbringing, by the example in the family where they were born, subsequently in the schools, among friends, in amusement and above all in great part from the media, which seek to influence young people already, so that these may become earthly citizens living their life according to the rules of a material society severed from the Light
It is precisely this borrowed manner of living, appropriated from without, which for the greatest part of the human spirits is something that gradually makes of them unworthy slaves of matter, ever further removed from their original path for which they incarnated upon earth
This merely outward life, severed from the real life, is always a feeble reflection of that which man should truly experience through the whole time of his being here upon earth
In the distorted setting of goals and of ideals, life is for many a man in great part squandered, because it is spiritually empty
The result of this is an entanglement in countless secondary threads which, in the walking along the wrong way, wind themselves upon the spindle of the fate of man, until at last the stubborn backward pull of the threads halts him wholly and casts him back by many lives, for all that which he now adds to his fate in the suppressing of the life of intuitive perception he will unconditionally have to come and redeem
Only the highest striving of all the inner abilities of the spirit leads to the tearing away from the listless following of that manner of living which today is blasphemously presented as the ideal fulfilment of the earthly time of man
In order that man may recognise and comprehend all this, even to the real core of the connections, he must today awaken with all the powers of his spirit, he must tear the heavy curtain from his eyes
If he awakens in time, then perhaps he may yet manage to lay aside much of that which has already wound itself about him in this life
If he strives for it rightly, then until the moment when his body ripens to the point at which the soul must leave it as its support for the gross material world, much of it will yet be made possible for him to loosen and to release more easily, for it is all near to him, it is still fresh, and thereby it can be untied again more swiftly
But when the soul of man departs from this earth without awakening, then the threads of fate, strictly guided by the Vaenen, run apart to the sides, and it will not be possible afterwards to redeem everything easily together at one time
As a consequence of the passing over into the beyond there is formed a successive series of experiences awaiting their hour of return, whereby much can come only with great intervals of time, just as the hands of the Vaenen in their wisdom again make it ready for man in return
There then threatens a great part of the human spirits that they will not manage to redeem everything, for a sharp divide draws near which will carry the earth high upward away from the strata into which some of their threads can reach, and thereby the possibility of incarnation will be postponed for a long time, if not made wholly impossible
This divide draws near in order to sift the living human spirits from the lifeless and in order to remove from the earth everything which, in the distortion created by men, does not belong upon it, for all this is the opposite of the Will of God, which wisely at the beginning pre-set a healthy environment for the human spirit in matter
This helping setting upon earth, prepared by the Laws of God, was however gradually twisted by men and deformed into today's caricature of living
The Ray of Parzival, which glows and shines in the blessed gleam of the brightness of God above this earth, now brings the transformation of all that exists, so that everything which hitherto only held back the human spirit and tore him from his way may be removed, blown away from this earth
Now the liberation of the earth from the dominion of the distorted human volition begins to take place
The leaven, which grows ever stronger, loudly announces the coming of those changes which will shake the hitherto cumbersome, deadening narrowness of the life of men, until this at last collapses and, fallen to dust, is swept away from this earth
Everything around begins to bubble and to seethe, so that in an unprecedented movement it may bring the disintegration of the old and at the same time prepare the forming of the soil for the new, which will be enlivened and strengthened for a new blossoming of the blessed life of men upon earth
The seething and the leaven, which hitherto still fill above all the finer planes of the materialities, will soon roll over in full power also into the gross material plane proper of the earthly world
It will bring convulsions and collapses which men, today still frightened by only the first vibrations that have reached them, cannot yet imagine
All this rolls on and draws irresistibly near to the whole of mankind
Yes, truly, it is near, and it comes in full power to the whole of mankind
No one can remain untouched by it, for the hitherto life of each of us earthly men grows directly out of the lap of the existing manner, which in its distortion is looked upon from the Light as false and pernicious
All men are at least in some part bound up with the course of the society as it is set today, which under the pressure of the Light must necessarily collapse, for with its motives it stands in the opposite direction against the development flowing in the effects of the Laws of God
Thereby it may be said beforehand that no one will remain untouched, no one will guard himself from it so as perhaps to remain quietly hidden in his home, but everyone will experience it together with the rest, for it is not possible to lift the single man out of the course of the great happenings which draw near
It is the same as when we picture to ourselves a sinking ship with all its passengers and with its crew
In its fate there must necessarily come the experiencing of the fact that the voyage is proceeding in the wrong direction
Upon the ship, however, in the prevailing majority there still rules the conviction that the set direction is right, and there is even the volition to sail still more swiftly in the existing direction, without heeding the warnings of some knowers of the sea about the possibility of great reefs in the way
The ship therefore sails forward at full speed with all those who are on board
Not all are bad, but by far not all are good either
If the course of the threads of the Vaenen comes at a certain moment so far that the higher justice permits an experience which brings heavy hours for all, then the ship which suddenly strikes the reefs sinks wholly and not only in part
Stricken will be all who are present
At the same time, however, there are wisely made ready in the threads of the helpers helps for all those who can be saved and survive
The men dwelling upon the ship thus need only to show forth their inner and also their outward movement, so that the prepared helps may reach them and also so that they themselves through their diligence may bring them to life
All this indicates that the condition for the survival of those who are upon the ship is wakefulness, preparedness and above all inner peace, which is far from panic and from that uncontrollable fear which is wont to be the greatest hindrance to effective help
Although therefore those who wish to be saved will be prepared, they need to reckon with the fact that they too will most likely be drenched and that they too will perhaps for a certain time struggle with the waves which will be around them until the help comes
They cannot expect that, when a great ship is sinking upon which they too are present, they will perhaps remain in their cabin and calmly observe how the others, in the struggle for the saving of their lives, seek to lower the lifeboats and to put on the life-jackets, and that then the door of their cabin will open and a supra-earthly rescuer will enter and carry them tenderly in his arms onto a kindly shore illumined by the sun
Something of the kind is only a foolish expectation which will bring a hard awakening
He who expects that the passing over into the new age will go far around him without touching him, and that he will remain only a comfortable observer who will afterwards receive an invitation into the new age, he has comprehended nothing and lives in a lack of comprehension of the Laws of Creation
Everything is to become new, and therefore the changes will gradually touch everything around man and also within man
Everything is to be awakened, so that it may be judged
Everything will now be tested by the pressure of the Light, whether it is possible to let it into the new age
This of itself already bears the mark that such a pressure, compelling the awakening and the touching of all the activities of man upon earth, will surely not pass without great social and also personal convulsions
It will come in waves which are to be expected as ever stronger and stronger
It has also already begun, and it will not be halted
This intensifying happening will halt and will end only in the new setting of life upon earth
He who reaches so far together with the happenings will be able to be counted to that generation which will be permitted to begin to create and to build upon a new foundation, which will proceed solely out of the Laws of Creation and will be strictly guided by the Will of God, precisely through the Ray of Parzival, which for a long time will shine above the earth as a helping, loving guidance of the human spirits
And alas, many knowing men already at the very beginning of this happening, which brings a way out and hope, lose their trust and would perhaps rather even return to the past, for it appears to them as a lost time of peace and of certainty
Scarcely has even a tiny part of the happening unwound which brings a vista towards the new world, and already a part of the men who have knowledge would rather swiftly return into the old, which before that they had so many times rightly perceived with their intuitive perception as unhealthy and enslaving
Now, when the way to the new and liberating begins to unwind, bringing naturally also transforming convulsions and uncertainties, men take fright, because in reality they never admitted to themselves that it would be hard and that it would touch them themselves directly
They are like the Jewish people, who once went forth out of the slavery of Egypt, but scarcely had the first difficulties met them upon the way to freedom when a great part of the multitude began to murmur and wished to return back
Such men are in reality not knowing, but we may say that they are only partly acquainted with the outward projections of recognition
They are therefore actually not even knowing ones, and still less convinced in their knowledge, as it should long since have been
For it suffices to look upon the ways in which they experience only the wholly initial convulsions of all that is distorted
We may ask where here is the resolve to bear all this patiently and calmly as a necessary process which must fulfil itself, for it is an integral part of the purifying happening which brings healing
Where is the trust in the Will of God, which leads and guides all this
Where is the recognition of the glorious activity of the animistic servants, who work therein in obedience to the Laws of Creation and thus to that Will of God
Where is the union with the spiritual helpers, who surely leave no more luminous spirit upon earth to his fate, but precisely now work upon him all the more helpingly, bringing him counsel, help and not seldom also consolation, when they see the laceration of the inner being which always sets in when man lets fear and apprehension into himself
Never were there so many helps of the spiritual kind, working upon all the planes around man, as there are now, in this time of the beginning transformations towards the renewal of a healthy life upon earth
The Light sends forth, together with the strengthening pressure, great helps to everyone who bears within himself a pure foundation and strives with all his powers for the harmonious working of his spirit in life
At the same time, when his spirit strives for an ever higher recognition, then precisely this is the time when everyone can swing himself a great part higher towards the Light
The movement which inclines itself to this small earth bears within itself everything needful for cleansing and for healing, and at the same time for progress and for ascent
This time is therefore not a time of apprehension and of fear, and for every knowing man it is to be a time of the greatest blessing and of hope
To look courageously towards everything that comes, with inner peace and with a clear recognising of the connections, that is the position in which every one of the knowing men is now to find himself
Only thus can he also be prepared to help others, which is the most precious turning to account of that which this time brings to him himself
He who works for others, helps them and supports their inner being in the finding of the power to awaken, he turns the present time to the best account
In a forgetting of himself, in that he lays all his outward power into the work for others, he forms for himself beforehand the condition that he will pass through everything without becoming aware of all that has swept past around him, for his concentration will lead him to the union with the Light and not to the observing of ever new manifestations of the collapsing old world
Already therein there blazes for such a man the hope of victory, whereby he thus self-actingly ranges himself into the new, which will bear him upon its stream without his being aware of it
Far from murmuring, from the criticism of others and above all freed from fear and from mistrust, in the becoming luminous of his spirit, he will enter with ease into the new which draws near
By the vibrations of the Light with which he has wholly merged he will be carried into the new age, which will be built precisely upon the helping of other men and not upon the primary heaping up of goods and of one's own enjoyments
In a certain forgetting of himself in his needs and in his apprehensions for himself, he can already now unite himself with the Ray of Parzival and, as a bearer of hope and of the way out, can in fact already today, in this moment, through his decision stand in spirit in the new age, which materially is only yet to come, that it may set in
He is to be the one who, precisely in connection with the picture of the sinking ship, helps all whom it is possible to help
He is to strive with all his powers for the awakening of those who still bear within themselves the soil for the comprehension that what now begins to happen is truly the intensifying of the pressure of the Light which comes from the Ray of Parzival, so that there may be completed in gross materiality that which was begun decades ago
It is not a pressure bringing disintegration and destruction, but in the first place it is a pressure bringing liberation, redemption and the renewal of life upon earth in the vibrations of the Primordial Laws of Creation
He who within himself is united with these Laws, who guides himself by them in every moment of his life, he will together with the coming leaven and seething be strengthened and armed for the mastering of all that is yet to meet him
Courageously therefore is everything that is coming to be looked upon
Courage is bound up with hope, and in the two together there is contained the protection of God for everyone who in pure striving beseeches for himself the power for the deed
Now there begins to hold good: "Boldly forward, it is pleasing to God"
