The Awakening of Joy

Jubilantly there descends through the spheres the expectation of the moment when the Ray of Parzival shall complete the fulfilment of its task in Creation and calm and peace shall reign upon the Earth

From time to time there penetrates as far as the Earth the expectation of the souls in the lighter planes, where many stand ready to immerse themselves in the earthly world the instant the liberation dawns from the oppressive rigidity which for the present still endures

In the lighter worlds of the finer materialities the victory of the Light upon the Earth is now joyfully awaited

Only a thin husk of time still separates the earthly world from the overflowing of the all-renewing Light in full power into the earthly acting of men here

The souls dwelling in the lighter materialities and also the hosts of the blessed in the glorious gardens of the spiritual home look down upon those whom they hold as their dear ones and whose earthly path they share with apprehension, for they are aware of the snares which here at the last moment still work to poison pure spiritual volition

Still there endures the turning away of the earthly from the other parts of Creation, which vibrate in harmony with the Will of God

Yet at the same time the advance of the luminous hands can be seen, pressing the evil ever further downwards away from the place where that small cosmic body called the Earth revolves

With every such shifting a joy reigns in the heights, which then descends even to here, to the Earth

It is therefore already now possible to divine the origin of that exaltation and blissful joy which here and there stirs the inner being of an individual man, without there being for him any special outward reason for it

It is joy and a liberating breath reaching down from the heights to the Earth in advance, before even in the very fulfilment of outward life the shifting comes about and purity of volition becomes a natural part of the daily consciousness of the majority of men

Against all this the earthly consciousness of man seems still to rebel, beholding about him still far too much adversity and hostility towards any pure striving for change

It is, however, only the remaining condensed layer of defiance and revolt which for millennia dwelt here, in the earthly world of men, against the quiet working of the helping streams of the Light

This revolt, however, now has no support any longer, and therefore in sudden surprise, with inward horror, it will slip and plunge from this earthly plane downwards, into the depths of oblivion

Outwardly all the evil acting hitherto, lacking kindliness and reverence towards others, appears still firmly rooted, unyielding and prevailing, yet inwardly the self-assurance of this manner of acting is already shaken, for in the threads of fate of those who so act a tension of a high kind is being fulfilled

In sleepless nights the dread of the coming times thus consumes many of these men who are far from pure living

Outwardly everything may still appear to run unshakably according to the existing arrangements of the severed manner of life here on the Earth

Yet ever more threads unite the earthly world with the spheres of the Light, vibrating sublimely high in the work of Creation

In reality therefore there is no longer sufficient will among those who desire evil to defy their own fate, for this moves forward as an unstoppable stream of power, pressing upon every inner being wherein, together with the weaknesses, there now grows the awareness of futility, emptiness and fear

Much of that which can be ascribed to the present evil condition here on the Earth arises also from the immaturity and lack of understanding of those who even today still press towards power

Many truly desire the good for others, but for the blessed attainment of their aims they lack the knowledge of the true wisdom concerning life

For the present there is here a lack of mature spirits, truly led in wisdom by the Light, who could move the world higher

This rousing awaits the courage of many, that in their maturity they may grow strong, step forth more and go ahead in their example, in pure striving for a life built upon the values of spiritual knowledge in loving regard for others

Thus it will yet last a while and will bring the most varied experiences to individuals, yet the main direction is given by an incomparably higher power than small human determining

The main direction of the happening is given by the Will of God, which now brings the Ray of Parzival immediately to the Earth

The Ray of the Light clearly and surely brings refreshment and strengthening to all that clings with its inner being longingly to the Light, to a joyful, creative life in peace with others

Inner joy and greater courage are thus a strengthening which is here now for everyone

From the heights there descend to the Earth delicate veils of blessing from those who follow their dear ones here and mediate to them the experience of joyful resolve to overcome all things, to pass through all things only purely and justly

Joyfulness and the courage to stride forward, such shall be the way of those who strive for the Light

Such is the Way of the Grail
