The Army of Thonorun

THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – July 5, 2021

When the High animistic servants from Valhalla were called by Mercury for the fulfilment of those promises which had earlier been anchored by Parzival for the purification and the rebirth of the materialities of the world-part of Ephesus, the first to spring forward towards the call was the animistic servant Thonorun

Impatience for the work flashed out of him far into all directions

Long had he prepared himself for this time when he would be permitted to stand at the side of his close fellow worker, the great Hareiars, in order with his kind of service to purify the earth and also to help the sleeping human spirits to awaken

He stepped before the mighty O-dio-nar in order to assure him of his readiness, for his armies were already drawn up in expectation of the sounding of the stroke of his hammer

Once already he had stood before the throne of O-dio-nar in order to fulfil his earnest mission upon earth, but in the end he was halted by the Will of God, because a voice from above led all happening towards a new ordering

It was at that time a troubled time in which, under the strokes of the animistic servants, only destruction would have had to come upon the small earth

The Wisdom of God therefore set new ways, which were formed so that the Love of God and the Purity of God, which dwelt upon earth after the departure of Imanuel and still had a part of their task in the Ray of Parzival for the help of mankind, so that these two Rays of Divine Love and Purity might journey under that protection which was to be accorded to them in yet the last prolongation of the earthly time of all fulfilment

Also many threads were to be released which needed to be transferred to a new setting of the incarnations of the spirits who are bound to be upon this earth at the time of the “fulfilment of the Judgment of God”

And thus the diligent hands of the Alphar and of the Vaenen, in the primordially eternal Knowingness of the guidance of God, wove new threads and made ready new ways, so that at the right time everything might again be prepared for the drawing near of the Ray of Parzival to the earth, which however this time comes in clouds of a spiritual kind, as was promised already thousands of years ago to the called nations

Just as the new threads of spiritual guidance were being drawn taut, so likewise the animistic servants too diligently prepared themselves for this special time, which for them also is a time filled with a wholly special kind of connection with the Will of God

Prepared through Mercury, their leader, they stand connected with the power of Parzival contained in his Ray above the universe of Ephesus

And their time is truly coming

Under the wise guidance out of Valhalla the first preparatory works of the happenings are at work which in their succession lead to the liberation of the earth from the thraldom of the darkness which, through a wavering mankind, was permitted to nest itself here so strongly

It already goes gradually one after another, and it will all intensify up to one great blow which will bring the possibility of the discharge of all the strokes which must come

Men do not yet observe all this, for to their perceiving there is not contained in it that direct line in which alone they would be able to recognise in their lives interventions of a higher kind

Mankind still regards these as isolated happenings, out of which their ponderous intellect strives laboriously to form the notion that they are all only chance manifestations of a natural kind

At most the intellect concedes that there is here something which has a connection with human doings, and which through an industry driven by the craving for the greatest possible profit has for a long time grossly overstepped all the bounds of man's consideration for nature as a whole

But this recognition, dragging along in the indolence of the spirit, is far behind the reality

The animistic kind is already now working in the direct fulfilling of the highest Will, which leads it straight out of the halls of Valhalla towards a victorious fulfilment over the ruinousness of the hitherto human race

One of those who now work at one moment here and already again there is the wild Thonorun, who with the power of his hammer sets the rhythm for all the other servants who work at his side

The servants of Orkanos whirl around the flowing cloak of Thonorun and form new conditions for happenings which men have not recognised

This is not the work of chance happenings, but it is an exactly and purposefully fulfilled discharge of animistic energies which brings to the earth that which the human spirit most needs, that is to say the purification of the world of thoughts and the awakening of compassion

Not even a hair falls thereby to the ground where it should not, nor where the power of the splendidly trained army of Thonorun is not to manifest itself

Only man in his dullness does not recognise in it the exalted activity of the animistic forces

Men do not see how the co-operation of the High animistic servants works exactly according to the connecting turning of the gearing which has been running in upon this earth for millions of years

They do not see that it is the glowing rays of Apollo which first draw the element of water out of the surface of the earth, so that in its gaseous lightness it may become a playful object in the hands of the dancing sylphs, who lead it in the currents of the air upward into the space high above the earth

Here there blow the mighty currents of winged beings of the air, unimaginably great to the human eye, which span whole continents

Through their working there arises a streaming which cools and compresses the water vapour back into the heavy form of ice

The pieces of ice begin to sink downward by their own weight and form a pressure upon their gaseous surroundings

In these places Thonorun gathers the power for his sparkling hammer and prepares to hurl it down towards the earth

His beard flies wildly, just as his cloak is tossed violently in the work which, out of the whole of his animistic origin, he experiences as the highest joyful fulfilment

But already lower down, close above the earth, there rolls forward a herd of winged horses led by the sylphs of Orkanos, who fly with ever greater power above the scorched ground

The sylphs lead these mighty horses forward and thereby form a wall of flying gale

Immediately behind the winged horses the water falls down, bringing a sudden cooling of the air and of the earth

The sudden transformation of the temperature of the space of the air makes an ever swifter gallop possible for the horses flying in the front line

Their hooves tear open the hot air before the front of the clouds and thereby prepare precisely the entry of the warriors of Valhalla, who now appear upon earth ever more frequently at the side of Thonorun and of the airy sylphs of Orkanos

It is an army out of the animistic halls which is sent forth together with Thonorun for the discharging of impure thought forms and also of the Furies and the Harpies

The army is composed for a great part of the animistic coverings of many heroes, which once formed animistic shells for human spirits who showed a supra-earthly power and courage in honourable battles

A higher animistic spark was added to them, and these shells, pervaded and quickened by the flame of Valhalla, were led by the Valkyries into the halls of the heroes, in order to prepare themselves here for the decisive clash between the Light and the darkness

Now these animistic heroes have joined into ranks which march in ever greater hosts down towards the earth, so that the promises may be fulfilled of the last purifying battle between the radiant animistic and the darkly deformed world of the thought forms and of the evil forms of intuitive perception created by men

In the clash which it is not seldom possible to call the most furious slaughter, there comes to the animistic an invincibly victorious power coming out of the heights

And this power works in the hands of the sylphs like a purifying sucking vent which draws the impure forms from the earth upward, where they are then scattered by the flashing weapons of the battling animistic heroes

The mighty forces work therein with so furious a circling movement that in the end a sucking vortex can arise even in the gross material manifestation itself, which with its power follows the happenings of a finer kind

All this, however, is only a battle which brings purification and refreshment, and at the same time it is an opportunity of inner awakening for earthmen

The described happenings of the finer kind always take place, yet at the same time it holds good that even the strongest outward manifestations of the struggle of the army of Thonorun in the gross material manifestation of a storm need by no means have so destructive an effect as it now brings for earthmen

For that, however, men would need to have within themselves the capacity purely to ask for the protection and the preservation of their dwellings and of their possessions

Where, however, men regard these high happenings in animistic working, which bring a purifying victory over the humanly formed shapes of impurity, as merely happenings of a material natural kind, there the animistic beings proceed in no way cautiously, for they regard the dull spiritual silence on the part of men as consent for the waging of their battle

It may be said that where men do not ask before the storms of today for a gross material mildness of the animistic manifestations, there these will now manifest themselves to the full in the whole of their crushing power

The question is, however, whether there are upon earth at all men who at least intuitively sense something of the greatness and of the mighty power of the animistic servants

Ninety-nine men out of a hundred regard the animistic servants as invented figures of the nations of old and only smile arrogantly at their existence

They think that all this is only talk for raving dreamers or for children

Their intellect, fettered to matter, foists upon them the supposition that specialised science already knows everything about the world and that thus nothing can surprise it

What folly lies in this, these materially minded men cannot even imagine

Alas, it stands the same way with the men who today call themselves believers, for they too pass wholly by the world of the animistic servants

Men either mock the animistic world in their intellectualism, or they turn to God without seeking to grasp that precisely that God to whom they call their entreaties sent them, at the very beginning of this Subsequent Creation, his servants of Valhalla, whom however those who hold themselves to be believers long ago rejected in the proud supposition that they are the delusions of the heathen

And thus now precisely those said ninety-nine men out of a hundred, and perhaps even all hundred, stand wrongly in the decisive moments and cannot in this strained time expect that with such an attitude they will find consideration with the harsh working of those strongest servants of Valhalla, who belong precisely to the most highly warlike in their working, for they are driven not only by the power of Mercury but also by the power of the primordially created knight of the Lion

In this power stand Hareiars, Haerthemis, Heatheine, Thonorun, but also Herakliones, already mentioned earlier in the texts on the Way of the Grail, who has also now drawn near to the earth for the waging of the battle with the darkness

Of all those mentioned Thonorun is the closest to the earth, for he has been connected with it longer than the other High animistic servants, both male and female, who work in the ray of the Lion

Thonorun is here for the transforming happening which brings the renewal of the pure surroundings of the earth

This mighty servant is never here merely for lightnings and thunders, as it appears to earthly eyes

He is here for the purification of the earth, whereby the ozone which is the result of the strokes of his hammer then announces the victorious completion of another such happening in the world of thoughts

His work is like that of Hareiars, but it holds good for a certain gradation of the processes of purification upon earth

Every storm which Thonorun leads and directs thus arises not for the sake of the storm's own manifestations in gross materiality, but it may be said that on the contrary the manifestations visible to human eyes of lightnings, of gale, of driving rain and of much else besides which belongs to a storm are the consequence of that which takes place first upon the degree of animistic working, invisible to earthly eyes

The animistic never needs a storm for the bringing of moisture

For that a gentle cloudiness suffices for the sylphs of Orkanos, which comes with a certain blessing in order to bring the fulfilment of their work for Erda and Siphe

The storm with its manifestations brings above all a purification upon the plane of the world of thoughts, and because the vehemence with which Thonorun brings this purifying happening reaches to the very boundary of gross materiality, the storm then of course manifests itself also in the visible happening which men recognise so very well

Men have hitherto known nothing of this and still do not know that they are to regard a storm as an opportunity of a partial cleansing of the near world of the finer gross materiality, which they themselves, alas, most often only supplement with ever new unpleasantnesses

No man has reflected upon why such a phenomenon as a storm exists at all

It was and still is always received only as an outward happening of the weather

Only some seeing men of the nations of old were permitted to behold something higher in it

But this beholding of a higher happening in the weather has been forgotten and is now pushed by men entirely into the realm of legends

As has already been said, however, that there arises a happening which brings a storm with lightnings and thunder is not a happening needful for the upholding of moisture upon earth

The animistic has ways of another kind for that, and if moisture alone were needed, it would also make use of these ways ensured by the servants of Orkanos

A storm with lightnings, however, is always a higher happening which works upon an important task of a purifying kind which takes place upon a finer plane

All this holds good today all the more, when under his leadership there is here the first part of the army which works upon the initial purifying battle of the animistic servants

That after this working Hareiars himself will also come with the remaining immense army for the completion of all the battles, of that men have not even the slightest intuitive sense

And Hareiars will come, for he too has his mission, which will be fulfilled

His army is many times greater than the vanguard of Thonorun

It may be expected that after a certain time Hareiars will take over from Thonorun the work he has begun, and thus in the storms a wholly unexpected happening may come

The army of Hareiars will manifest itself absolutely everywhere in the most varied happenings as unexpected events upon the planes of this world, both in nature and also in the human world

Because no one expects it with the needful earnestness, it will come to men unexpectedly

The announced army of Hareiars will draw near in full power very soon now

Since men will in no way be set aside and exempted from it, it may be expected that under the pressure of the army of Hareiars great tensions will come in human society, and only with the highest inner humility will it be possible to stand firm in it

Otherwise the inner being of man will be seized by the dreadful vortex which always arises when the animistic army now at work clashes with the furies and the harpies above men

Whoever, even by the smallest part, lets anger, hatred, or thoughts of harm to other men flare up within himself, he will at once be torn away from his firm ground in his inner being, and the forces of the animistic kind will drag his soul covering about just as strongly as happens in the mighty gale of a storm

Let the many happenings which take place in part already also upon the plane of the gross material be for everyone a great warning that the most important thing today, which is at the same time the most effective protection, is man's own purity of his inner being

Beside this purity it is also knowledge which is demanded of the human spirit, that he swiftly make it his own, for he cannot stand in the gearing of the earnest happenings of the present time as one who is ignorant

He who is ignorant cannot stand firm, for ignorance will not protect him before the animistic happening

He cannot stand with disdain towards those who are many times stronger than all the earthly technology of men together, and who at the same time hearken in their working only to the call of a human spirit which is filled with a pure childlikeness

Whoever does not now move further in this, he remains exposed to the danger of the strokes which must come, for they are brought to the earth in the purifying happening by the demand of the Words of the Lord which were spoken decades ago upon this earth

Now, strengthened by the Ray of Parzival, everything rolls towards the earth, so that the Word may discharge itself upon mankind to the last letter

Whoever does not bow down, he will suffer harm

It is withal not a matter of earthly harm, which in the end can after all always be repaired and made good, indeed it is not even a matter of the earthly life of men, for that too is only a part of real being, but now it is a matter of something far more important and more precious

It is a matter of the Holy Judgment of God upon the human spirit, which in all this needs to stand firm and to pass through it in the keeping of an enduring purity and of a childlike trust in the Light

To suffer real harm means for the human spirit to have to be pressed, for his evil dealing, further away from the Light to the very boundary of the destruction of the conscious I

That is for the spirit the most earnest and the most painful harm

All else against that, which men call harm and which they also almost always experience as harm and as suffering, is in reality nothing compared with this causing of one's own spiritual harm, which brings the spiritual spark nearer to that boundary upon which, under the pressure of its impure threads, it will have to lose the consciousness of its I for ever

Therefore the most important thing for the man of today is that he stand always purely and peacefully in his thoughts and in his deeds, for every vibration of a darker kind is a great burden which only removes the spirit further from the Light, despite the fact that from time to time it also experiences its brighter moments

The darkness is today under the pressure of the animistic fulfilling, and therefore every single vibration of unpleasantness in the inner being of man is at once pressed further away from the Light

The spirit must then move ever further downward, for it has not within itself the power to withstand the mighty purifying pressure of the animistic kind

Therefore it must in the end suffer harm in that, in its malice and in its impurity of every kind, it withdraws from the Light and will finally have to be condemned as one who no longer finds a place in this glorious work of Creation of God

In this kind the army of Thonorun now works, and further High animistic servants too labour upon the great purification of this section of Creation, so that the Word of the Lord which brings the judgment may be fulfilled

It is therefore high time for every vigilant perceiving of what is from the Light and what is from the darkness, for every man must at last find his clear bearings in this, so that he may prove his maturity and the clear knowingness of his inner being

And for this discerning there is need of knowledge, which is often an important point of hold for the right deciding of man

If he decides wrongly, whether out of his own comfortableness, out of ignorance, or because of his crooked foundation of soul, then he is at once threatened with the coming of an unexpected experiencing

And this experiencing will rouse in his inner being a reaction which, in the case of malice and of wrath, precisely attaches threads to the darkness, and these will press the spirit yet further away from the Light

Hence so great a call for purity and for peacefulness in the inner being and in the thoughts of man

It is the most important thing which man today can and is to master with his childlike pure and trustful experiencing of every moment of the day

Let us but look well around us

Everywhere around us there work with great pressure the forces which bring to this earth liberation from the thraldom of the dark
