The Age of the Furies and Harpies and the Victorious Ray of the Lion

Over the whole Earth there gathers a thought-cloud of the heaviest kind that could ever, out of human malice, sensuality, baseness and general criminality, condense over whole millennia into a resulting state of wretchedness, out of which the forms of this thought-darkness now attack everyone who shows himself weak, or even merely uncertain, in the pure defence of his perceiving

By its nature this thought-darkness is connected with the plane of the intuitive vibrations of the finer worlds of materiality, whence strongly felt living forms of evil in the shape of Furies and Harpies hurl themselves upon mankind

The grating of beaks, the dread whirring of wings and the sinking in of talons pervade the surroundings hidden from earthly eyes, so as to shake the gate of the soul in the attempt to break through into the innermost seat of the intuitive perception in all who in this important world-hour are superficial and unwatchful

To sway the intuitive perception towards indignation, malice, hatred, that is what the prevailing thought-world formed by men, severed from the knowledge of the work of Creation and from the Creator Himself, now strives for

Like a wave of destruction it rolls towards mankind and seeks to sweep away everyone who does not stand surely anchored in the Light with an inner conviction

The last forces of the inwardly purer, which however issue only from human material humanism, are beginning to be shaken in a great part of mankind, and a multitude of people who until recently were not bad are falling through the gearing of God's Judgment into rejection

This comes about because the good volition built upon humanism was not firmly anchored in men, so as to hold out before the onslaught of evil

Where human conduct is built only upon the support of material laws, there heavy shocks will now come about, for injustice, deceit and lies draw near as the tools of the finely honed intellect

Where the fervour of the intuitive perception in the complete following of the pure Light is lacking, there everything becomes lukewarm, grumbling, and thereby an easily struck target for the Furies and Harpies

Lukewarmness and immobility in the spirit has become for these human spirits, in the last hour of the Judgment, that small weight which tips the scales of their being and their non-being and directs them ever further towards rejection

Those who have not inwardly cleaved wholly to the Truth, to the lofty knowledge of the meaning of life, and have not let the fervour of intuitive receptivity joined with the knowledge of the Laws of God come alive within them, all of these are now, in their discontent, exposed without protection to the attacks of the thought-world, which penetrates into their inward attunement so as to awaken in them a sense of grievance at injustice, and together with this injustice irritation, aggressiveness and hatred

But this can happen to them only through the state of their own wavering and lack of anchorage, that is, through the lukewarmness mentioned, with which they have hitherto sought to walk through their lives as with something that soothed them in the supposition that they were not as bad as the others

But the growing pressure of the happening will compel in everyone the manifesting, to the last particle, of how the human spirit in his inner being really stands in the threads of the great Laws of the work of Creation

Over the world the forces of darkness rush on and, in an unprecedented aggressiveness, fan in men an unrest which grows beyond measure

With every day it gains in force, like a wave which threatens to sweep away the whole human ordering of the world hitherto

The shaking of the foundations of social life hitherto raises the tension among men to the highest degree of over-sensitivity

The Furies and Harpies themselves are thereby heavily driven by the Light, which draws in ever more closely around them so that these evil forms may discharge themselves as a kind of energy that never ought to have belonged to this part of the universe

The Light brings an increase of pressure which is almost already palpable for those who are of a more receptive constitution

This pressure is at the same time a necessary manifestation of the Law of Reciprocal Action, which at last brings the purification of all life here too, in the distant materialities

That now it is mainly only the evil and the dark that must come back is the fault of the millennia-long state of lukewarmness of the human spirits on Earth, who let themselves be influenced far too easily by the dark working of the henchmen of Lucifer

Nothing other, therefore, now hurls itself upon mankind than what was sown by men themselves

Whether willingly and intuitively felt in an evil attunement, or only in superficial grumbling, all of it is now multiplied

The volition sown by men, glowed through by the longings of the soul and multiplied in thoughts under the working of the Law of Creation, has grown and has become dreadful in its forms

The irritated Furies hurl themselves, through impure volition and thoughts, upon individuals and upon whole groups of people, so as to divide them and in hatred to set them against one another in an aggressive resolve to destroy each other

All the fragile truce that has lasted until now and the will to come to terms among men are a thing of the past

All relations among men will now go to the very essence of their worth

Where hitherto there was only pretence, there a collapse will come about

It is only a question of when and in how many places the inner tension in the menacing thought-world will pour over into the outward forms of an outwardly manifested struggle of evil in the earthly world

Bleak, then, do the prospects for the coming age on Earth appear to be

This view of the coming age may appear to inwardly trembling people as a cause for the gravest apprehension

Such truly is now that age, which was however announced long in advance with the warning that men should change and be able to face this time with their genuine endeavour for harmony, even at the cost of their own lessening, that is, of standing back

The coming age was announced for a long time, and therefore it ought not to be an unexpected development precisely for those who are the knowing ones

Over all humanly immature and spiritually neglected conduct there now threatens to spread, through the influence of dark thought-forms, an uprooting and a shattering

And that, sadly, will for the greatest part also come, for the state in the inner being of men has long been far too widely open to the growing aggression of the Furies and Harpies

The tremors of great happenings in human society thunder above the horizon

It is the great announcement of the end of the human world hitherto, as it has lasted until now on this Earth

And behold, as was warned, the greatest part of mankind is not prepared for these foreseeable great manifestations of social change, whose final result is nevertheless to be the clear victory of the spirit and of hope

The thunder and the menacing rumbling in reality bring the liberation of everything more luminous

The coming age is a necessary part of the rebirth of mankind, which will arise out of the overcoming of all the existing darkness by the Light of the Holy Will of God

And sadly, for many men there is contained in it the fulfilment of the grave warning “too late”

But that too was always announced by the Light, help was always made ready for all who inwardly ripened to a higher glow of their flame of the spirit

The luminous threads of the helping hands remained forsaken all the time, for the human spirit always had something better

Now it will be shown whether it truly was something better, or whether it was merely a self-deception formed by inward complacency and by the lukewarmness of the spirit

The intensifying Light coming from the Ray of Parzival drives everything to manifest itself and thereby to judgment upon itself

The darkness already knows that it is thereby threatened more than in all the time of its working on Earth

Therefore a heavy cloud of malice and irritability, flowing from the awareness of the loss of everything hitherto, draws in around many people

The darkness wants to hold mankind as a hostage that will be dragged down into destruction together with it

The volition of hatred seeks one last time to rouse up opposition against the coming spiritual enlightenment which will bring true freedom to the human race

The thinking of billions of people is under the heavy pressure of the darkness, which brought the free human will into a state of an unworthily narrowed perceiving of life

The subconscious presentiment of the wrong direction taken hitherto calls forth unrest and a volition to incite

Ever more the human mind takes into its consciousness the dark urge that the way out of the pressure mentioned is struggle, and also the subjugation of those who are inwardly purer, more luminous, and can be labelled weaker and more defenceless, because their spirit is in accord with the promise of Christ in the beatitudes

The cloud grows and threatens ever more with the destruction of everything that clings to the soundness and the naturalness of life in the Laws of Creation

Over the last seventy years the darkness on Earth has become more self-assured through the mistaken appearance that, since the Antichrist had triumphed earthly over the Son of Man, it had thereby wholly mastered the world, holding it at its mercy under its dominion

This temporary, seeming postponement of the fulfilment of God's Judgment on Earth and the triumphant celebrating of the mastery over a great part of mankind was drowned out by the heavy blow which the Light dealt to the darkness with the promised binding of Lucifer

The cry of the stricken one out of the depths called to the last decisive campaign of the darkness against the human spiritual race

And the Antichrist hidden in the human hereditary sin truly raised his head through intellectual cunning

Through a supposed material knowledge of matter he created for mankind an idol of glorification in the worship of the intellect

Therefore it appeared here on Earth for a long time to the darkness hidden in material progress that it could always easily triumph over everything more luminous

That led in the end to an assault aimed at the complete enslavement of everything spiritual

And it almost succeeded, had there not appeared above the universe, like a flash already no longer expected, the Ray of Parzival, returning for the completion of the whole reckoning

Evil is uncovered by the power of the Ray of Parzival

Suddenly it is shown that as a hope for a real ascent of society everything intellectually earthly is in reality insufficient

This brings about the uncovering of the true culprit of human misery on Earth – spiritual lukewarmness joined with an intellectuality fostered by the influence of Lucifer and severed from the other parts of the work of Creation

The serpent hidden in the background was unmasked as the real originator of all human misfortune

Thereby hatred awoke in this originator towards everything that remains more luminous and purer

Under the touch of the consuming radiance of the Ray of Parzival everything dark is now struck and is thereby irritated and roused to a menacing thought-evil

But help out of the Divine, sent out by God the Father, draws near

Above these heavy clouds of the retribution of Lucifer's henchmen there arches, then, an ever brighter wall of Light

As the Ray of Parzival with every moment penetrates ever further forward into the density of the universe, so in its immediate nearness the advance of a great host of radiant victory spreads out

Part of this advancing victorious host of the Light are the multitudes of resolute warriors of Valhalla

Called by the Light, they joined into one single current which follows its leader, serving faithfully the King of the Grail

And at their head is the Lion in his ideal Primordially Created knighthood

The Primordially Created Lion rushes forward at the very head of the avalanche of the luminous knighthood and of the warriors from the halls of Valhalla

Against all the Furies and Harpies there thus draws near a mighty wall of warriors under the leadership of the Ray of the pure brightness of the Primordially Created Lion

At the end of the brightly blinding ray there stands the truly embodied personality of the Primordially Created Lion, reflecting his will in the Grail

The figure of the knight, clad in silvery radiant armour, leads the hosts of courageous animistic servants of all planes, who by their resolve already break all the former might of the darkness and crush it to dust

The might of this happening is hardly conceivable for earthly perception, for it surpasses everything that the human spirit in this part of Creation is able to call up under the concept of battle

In the faces of the individual warriors there is mirrored a clear resolve for victory, which since the beginning of the ages of the Subsequent Creation has been the promised prototype sent out in help from the Grail

This picture was formed at the moment when for the first time there stirred in the inner being of Lucifer his own will, the volition to rule this divine work of Creation

Herakliones beside Hareiars, Thonorun and many other warriors press into the ranks of the evil and the hopelessness of the Furies, so as to crush them everywhere where they are not to have power over men inwardly anchored in the Truth and in the Light

A mighty call announcing victory carries through the multitude of warriors with the lion-like resolve to lay everything again into the hands of the Light in the battle in the finer planes of the materialities of the universe which is just now beginning

The lion-like heroic courage and strength overcomes everything that would set itself in resistance against the Will of the Light

And precisely this lion-like heroic courage is to penetrate into the hearts of those who are incarnated here on Earth

Out of the distant echo there is to be formed here on Earth too a pure resolve for faithfulness to the Light in the fulfilment of all the forms of pure human spiritual working

That does not mean an earthly struggle with weapons and aggression, as we know it, but it is an inward, thousandfold strengthened will for the pure following of the Will of the Light

In this lies the victory here on Earth among men who long to stand on the side of the Light in this earnest time of the Judgment

Only he who stands faithfully and resolutely on the side of the Light, only he can be protected by a higher kind of animistic working in the coming age on Earth

He will be joined with the unshakable working of the warriors under the leadership of the Primordially Created Lion, and thereby the power of a victorious outcome will always spread above him

The condition for the upholding of the Light and of the Truth is not force, nor coarse action, but only an inward unshakableness clad in the forms of the most honourable conduct attainable by a human spirit in uplift and maturity as the model of all pure humanity

The Lion here on Earth works through noble courage and heroism in the unshakable certainty of living that pure way of life which by the great wisdom of the Will of God is granted in the Subsequent Creation to the human spirit for his development

A luminous spirit who carries within him the awareness of his unquestionable right to act according to his purest conscience in all situations always grants that same right to other people as well

Such a one will then always be surrounded for his protection by a radiant coat of scaled mail for sure victory in all the battles of thought which are waged in the protection of the honour and the freedom of all his fellow men

To be permitted to live in accord with the Truth and with the Light is conditioned by a lasting living movement of the spirit at all times

Never may he lower himself to the judging of others in the superficiality and the lukewarmness of his intuitive perception

In this exertion lies the battle of the human spirit in this time of God's Judgment on Earth

But he who wavers, and whose inner connection with the Truth and with the Light does not stand upon the foundation of an unwavering conviction, he will be left at the mercy of the working of the Furies and Harpies, whether directly to their beaks and talons, or to the human evil subject to them that comes through the impure intentions of men

Therefore it is now of the utmost importance to find in the inner being a peaceful connection with the Light and, heedless of the outward shocks of a social kind, to walk in the fervent uplift of the flame of the spirit above the density of materiality here

Victory in the growing frenzy in the struggle of the thought-world between everything crooked and that which vibrates purely in the Will of God is inseparable from the anchoring in the pure life of the knowing ones

The support of that unexpectedly great resolve and steadfastness flows to the individual man from the heights of the Light in this age in an unprecedented influx of inner strength

That is the vibrating in harmony with the lion's courage and heroism, which, transformed here on Earth into the words of Christ, is to appear as an inward unshakable faith in divine help and rescue

In the inner being of every spirit connected with the Light this power of the lion's courage is to awaken, with which he can give himself fully to his daily working here on Earth

Courage and conviction, together with the working of the mature expression of the spirit, will force his way to victory everywhere he sets foot

Courage demands movement in the spirit and outwardly too

Without living movement there is no influx of courageous strength for victory over all difficulties

Therefore it is so greatly needed that the spirit of the knowing man raise himself upward in the purest striving, force his way above the thought-distortion of things and, in connection with the heights of the Light, draw for himself an influx of courageous heroism from the multitudes of luminous animistic servants who now intervene ever more effectively in all the happening above the Earth and on the Earth

Everything now stands as on a knife's edge and no time is left for hesitation

Either the human spirit, in a complete volition for purity, will cleave wholly to the Light and the help of the Light will be able to work in his nearness, or he will remain standing aside, left at the mercy of the furious assault of the thought-world through the forms of inner tornness and malice

It is no longer possible to hesitate between these two opposite poles

For those who have decided for the Light with a clear will, the promise holds that the warriors of the luminous multitudes are with them at all moments, provided they preserve within themselves the purest soil of their bright spiritual flame

The rest will be struck and torn apart in the gradual failure of thinking of the intellectual brain

This fulfilment will come, however much it may still seem today a prospect of an impossible kind

Yet which of men gave earnest weight to the announcement of the coming of the Ray of Parzival even a short time ago

The Ray of Parzival was, until two and a half years ago, a wholly unknown concept for everyone

The greatest part of men could not imagine at all what the description of its approach to the Earth would call forth and what events would all be the attendant phenomena among men

When people read on the Way of the Grail the texts with their prospects of the spiritual happening, they almost never gave earnest weight to the consequences which in the end showed themselves almost at once in the very happening among men on Earth

It is thereby left to everyone with what earnestness he examines what is offered to him through the texts on the Way of the Grail

No one is to be persuaded even in the slightest to occupy himself earnestly with the happening described in the spiritual pictures of the individual texts

A completely free and unfettered will is given to everyone as to how he will prove himself inwardly living and spiritually alert for occupying himself with the happening which goes ahead in pictures, so that only thereafter may it assert itself in the conditions of earthly events among men

Whoever is capable of right reflection can easily ascertain when the first texts were published on the Way of the Grail and in what sequence the development of events among men on Earth then continued

So now too it may be said that we stand not far from the complete collapse of human thinking, which will in part be torn apart by the Furies and Harpies and in part be destroyed by an unprecedented use of earthly intoxicating substances and medicaments, which spread like an avalanche as the desperate defence of those people who cannot bear the growing pressure of the happening

And yet the way out for everyone is simple, clear, and lies in the inward attunement of a genuine pure volition which is shown towards all one's fellow men and towards all the creatures in nature

For this it is necessary to bring the knowledge of the Truth to the many blank places of ignorance

Where the Truth about the work of Creation, about man and about the real meaning of his life comes and is rightly received, there the possibility of connection with help of a higher kind opens at once, bringing harmony, calming and a refound trust in a good development of everything in the life of man

But where this knowledge is lacking, or where this knowledge has not become truly lived at all the hours of the day, there places still hold in man which make vulnerability possible on the part of the Furies and Harpies through fear and hopelessness in the expectation of the coming days, weeks and months

Therefore let it here be recalled once more with the highest good will: “Live consciously a pure life in the Light, and all the help in the work of Creation will be with you”

Whoever stands rightly looks out, with a bright and strengthened spiritual inner being, for the coming of the liberating luminous happening to this Earth

May the joyful exclamation hold for all: “Let there be more Light on Earth”

The radiant Primordially Created Lion, with all the luminous multitudes of the servants of the Grail and of Valhalla, works so that this may soon become for earthly mankind a lived reality
