The Advent of the New World Order

A time is setting in when out of all the means of communication prophets and various leaders emerge in order to proclaim the coming of something new. Those who are the most prominent in earthly terms and the most talked about in the media speak of the advent of a new system of governance – whether it is called in short the New World Order, stakeholder capitalism, or the rise of a multipolar world. They announce, they warn, they proclaim, they direct attention in various directions towards something new that has not existed until now.
The ordinary man still has no inkling of what he is to picture under these words and of what awaits him in the future. He does, however, feel uncertainty and unrest about the future. Everything shakes the torn soul of mankind, it brings no refreshment, no reviving, but burns up and drains away even the last strength that still remained to man in this darkness of the present. The natural law is being fulfilled that he who has much will have still more, and he who has little loses even that little which still remained to him. A multitude of reflections, analyses and articles appears. As though intoxicated, readers and listeners stagger from place to place, uncertain in themselves, unfree, because they have been led away from the direct path. Where the forces of the mainstream no longer suffice, people reach for alternative sources, and those of a more spiritual bent turn their gaze towards various associations and towards spiritual masters. Do we, however, find here the real nourishment needed for a spiritual quickening? This too is proof of the barrenness of everything that is put before us. For that which wearies the spirit and brings no strengthening is not the right thing. In haste they will still have to travel the path of what is wrong, so that they may perhaps return to that right path leading upwards which they lost long ago, or else they will go astray. That right path is precisely the path to the Most High, which stands before every man. Alas, man has strayed from it and has begun to seek out learnedness and to imagine that the path to the heights has to be laboriously studied and that it must be difficult. Things that were formerly simple now seem complicated and are reserved for science and for “experts”, although they touch every man to the core. With their wrong knowledge men have become a sounding brass, whereas their task is to be alive and to sustain Creation. The man who rejoices in the beauty of nature and who in gratitude for it turns his gaze upwards stands higher before God than he who can dissect flowers and animals scientifically without recognising in it the greatness of his Creator.
What only a few years ago counted as an established and traditional pattern of conduct and was regarded as values suddenly, at the wave of a magic wand, no longer holds, and all those who push through and praise the new thing that is coming are compelled either to suppress something within themselves or not to pause at all over the logic of the matter and over the apparent contradiction with the values held hitherto. This concerns above all morality, values, lawfulness, as well as the most elementary logic. Lawfulness as conceived in the human direction, forming the legal order as the sum of the norms of a society's conduct, has alas of late been failing all along the line in the direction of illogicality and of bending, when elected representatives adopt norms and laws aimed against their own nation and their own voters. Or else they adopt something which they know in advance is not binding upon the people, and then threaten them with repressive means in order to make them observe it.
Just as various reflections appear about how the “new” will look, so the pressure also grows upon every man for the purpose of his own purification and of the yielding of the fruits of the whole of his existence hitherto. This cycle and circuit is passed through by the world part to which the Earth belongs, by the Earth itself, by the individual continents, states, nations, families and of course by the individual as a human spirit. Everything is entering the time when the husbandman will begin to go about with his basket and to beat upon the trees so that they may yield their fruit. What is good he will take with him; the bad and inedible will end in the fire.
For the best possible mastering of the coming time it is needful to speak of responsibility and of laws that are no longer human but eternal, from which the human laws were to have drawn their inspiration. Instead these have departed from them, and at present they are aimed against all those from whom, in the sense of legal theories, power is supposed to originate, but directly also against Him who is the highest Creator and Giver. They appear in sharp contradiction to those who are of a free spirit and endeavour to strive towards the heights. Such are not obedient to a human system that seeks to manipulate people and to give them senseless orders; such live in obedience to the Most High and to His eternal laws.
Such people seek the highest Truth and endeavour to conform their conduct to it. They cease to be the object of another's interest and become a real subject, a living man capable of fully discerning what comes to him and of choosing out of it only that which is worthy of a real man. For this very reason it is needful to strive for spiritual advancement and to long constantly for what is higher. A good help, which men have already forgotten, are the Commandments of God. These too men have greatly simplified and have made of them unusable archaic notions serving the interests of churches and various associations. The people of today do not understand their true sense and meaning, which alone conceal within themselves the direct path and happiness for their spirit and at the same time for the whole of human society as a whole.
Those various prophets and heralds of that new order of theirs, exalting themselves into gods or into patrons of mankind because hitherto they could lay hands on almost everything they thought of or received dark inspiration for, thereby forget the most important thing: the Creator, Giver and Lord of all things Himself. It is precisely He who laid into our existence those true Laws which at present bring everything to its resolution. Of such there is no point even in speaking, for they have knowingly pledged themselves to the dark one, and requital will assuredly come to them in multiplied measure according to the manner of their work. Help is still possible there where there is a longing for something better and where the spiritual spark in man has not been wholly extinguished but has only remained buried under superficiality and other deposits of dust. The volition, however, must come from man himself; only then can a hand be extended to him in help from the other side.
The new age is setting in, yet it does not come with joy and welcome, but creeps up like a thief in the night of uncertainty and knocks at the gates of human souls. More and more that which was wrong is showing itself, and the manner of life customary hitherto is collapsing. People of public life, politicians and actors are showing their characters; the supposed lords elected by no one also show themselves, the adherents of various cults, of the culture of death and of everything possible and impossible. To each of them requital will come in the sense of what he has sown. The harvest, however, will be manifoldly greater than the sowing was. This too is one of the Laws of God.
For those who long for something better and more beautiful there sounds the promise from the heights: “Stand firm in confidence, O man, the Lord will prepare for those who believe in Him and trust Him a new age, the promised kingdom on Earth. Have no fear, but keep your gaze fixed upon your Lord, and His power will strengthen you and give you hope. But be active yourself and exert all your powers to meet the awaited change, and join your volition with the will of the Lord.”
Let us at the same time welcome all that is collapsing, for it is the harbinger of the coming of the new, and let us go forward to meet it. Let us replace all fear with confidence in the Lord's commandments and laws!
It is precisely the fulfilment of these commandments and the understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe that can help man in his endeavour to awaken intuitive perception within himself, which will lead to the unfolding of his abilities and possibilities. Thereby man will gain the true ability to know other people, an ability lost through indolence. Step by step he will lose what is dead and mechanical and will become a living man again. Real personalities will arise, while the present herd-bred animal must vanish. Only such will be permitted to enter the new age on earth, distinguished by a new order – God's world order, which should long since have ruled on this earth.
