And now once again so much Power sent down from the Light has sunk into the materialities that for all life it will bring, in accelerated measure, a tension of an unprecedented kind

The radiation from the Light has soaked into all the stages of materiality

Thereby there were quickened precisely those animistic particles which are subject in the first place to Hareiars and Haerthemis

In all this lies the fulfilment of many promises, which even now are forcing their way towards becoming visible in the earthly world of men

The strongly vibrating unconsciously animistic is ready to hurl itself, literally, upon this earthly world

This will bring tension into the threads of fate of the greatest part of mankind

It will come, however, quite otherwise than the majority today supposes

It will come quite inconspicuously, passing over from the invisible into a happening that gradually becomes ever more visible

Although this has already been spoken of many times on the pages of the Way of the Grail, it still remains ungrasped even by most of those who have read it all and therefore have a certain awareness of it

It is therefore fitting here once more to recall what is most important, yet what is nevertheless still forgotten by men

Let us therefore recall here once again that – everything that is to be found in the work of Creation is in reality radiation formed out of the Light

There is nothing that could step out of this being formed of radiation

Likewise everything that we call a manifestation of independent life, to which men without doubt belong through their spiritual nature, is always only a particular, exceptionally concentrated focus arisen out of the Will of God, in which so great an abundance of united vibration comes together that one may speak of a more or less self-conscious being

Besides the spiritual, a part of the higher animistic is also self-conscious, for it too resembles certain nodal foci, or, figuratively speaking, concentrating lenses, through which the penetrating divine radiation of the Light then acquires a unique colouring for its further working into Creation

Thereby arises the essence of a being, of a creature and of a self-conscious inhabitant of the work of Creation, whom we find on many stages of the work of Creation

The differences in the degree of influence and also in the kind of working are then decided solely by the degree of cooling of the radiation, and thus by the height of origin of the place where self-awareness came about

This independent and self-conscious spiritual as well as animistic finds itself at the same time always within a space which is shaped into forms and figures by further radiation of animistic vibration, a space that is for a great part also filled with the unconsciously animistic, which serves as a kind of building material for the shaping of the basic forms of life

The worlds of materiality of the Subsequent Creation here are likewise again only individual stages of cooled radiation, in which there are found for a great part spiritual building particles of the most varied kind

And this holds good also for this earthly world

This earthly world too is radiation, which takes form out of the preceding higher stages of the work of Creation glowed through by the Light

Everything higher is in reality a very delicate vibration, invisible to earthly sight

But this holds good further as well, thus also for this world of gross matter, precisely in that this matter too is vibration, radiation

It is needful to picture it thus, that everything we see, and even that which we can touch, is a kind of vibration, or, as may equally well be said, that it is radiation

But all this goes still further towards an ever deeper recognition, for it holds good that human spirits themselves too, in their beauty and diversity, are precisely a kind of concentrated radiation which gathered at the very boundary of the spiritual paradise, drawn thither by a fundamental core – a seed, which in its nature is of purely spiritual origin

With the humanly spiritual species, however, this spiritual seed is at the outset, in the heights of the Light, so weak that in order to vibrate rightly with the work of Creation it must yet gain more in strength, that is, it must develop

The will of the human spirit is therefore likewise only a kind of radiating out, having its origin in the seed of the spirit, which is clothed in coverings of further, more cooled radiations in Creation

Yes, even the volition of the spiritual spark itself, that supremely precious free will bestowed upon the human spirit by God, which shows itself in the possibility of choosing the path, is again only a radiated experiencing that takes place within the core of the spark

The greater the accord of the spiritual spark with that Harmony which pervades the whole of Creation, the more are there radiated out from the spark on all sides waves of pure kindliness and also of ripe wisdom, which manifest as radiated waves of happiness and joy springing forth from the focus of the spirit

Truly everything is radiation, and now is the time when men on earth are to recognise this and to begin working with it effectively in the whole of their living

Radiation – the more it is permeated by the Light, the more does it shape forms of a more perfect beauty, filled with blissful harmony

Thus it is above all in the luminous planes of Creation

With greater distance from the Starting-point at the summit of Creation, that is, the further from the Grail in the Primordial Creation, a cooling of the radiation sets in, and thereby the forms and figures of this radiation become more rigid and, in their density, less perfect in the expression of beauty

This phenomenon is a concomitant happening also for all the stages of the coverings of the human spirit, who with his inner living power radiates through, and thereby rules, all the coverings that are granted him on his way through the materialities

Thus it goes step by step from above downwards even to here, to the densest part of matter, where all life is at last solid and in its forms far more ponderous than is the case in the heights of the finer planes more permeable to the Light

To earthly senses the outward gross material world appears, naturally, as materially dense

Nevertheless it too is still a kind of radiation belonging to the work of Creation

Therefore the human body also, which outwardly appears densely homogeneous with its surroundings, is again only a kind of radiation

In this recognition there is contained far more than men suspect

The earthly body is woven upon the basis of a certain kind of unconsciously animistic radiation, which is inherent always in every single cell

The body here on earth is therefore not woven directly out of the radiation of the spiritual spark, but its origin lies in animistic radiation

In this seemingly simple recognition there lies hidden much important knowledge for the time to come, which is now drawing near, and in which men will only then become more open to all new knowledge about life

Today all this is still too new, and in the upheaval of what follows from it, it is thus hard for the thinking of the greater part of mankind to accept

It may rather be said that for the majority, set as they are in material thinking, it is unacceptable

It is a pity, for from this recognition even earthly science could draw already today, science which, although it deems itself advanced, in reality knows nothing of the spiritual nature of man

Here it is needful that men should rightly grasp the principle of the working of the animistic, for thereby the fact will become still clearer to them that their earthly body does not belong to them in the way they suppose today, but is always only granted to them as a home and a refuge for a temporary existence here in the gross material space upon earth

Although the spiritual in man is, through the threads of fate, decisive for all that his earthly body will have and what advantages and defects it will bear within and upon itself, the body itself comes from the workshop of the animistic and is in the end lent to the spirit for use during the allotted time of earthly existence

Here on earth the spirit wears a mantle woven out of radiation of the animistically unconscious kind, which is granted him for use so that he may radiate through it and thereby bear it as a bodily covering, which is at the same time perceived by him as being he himself, as it is regarded today in the prevailing material consciousness of men, that is, it is perceived as inseparable from his earthly consciousness

Although from our standpoint of earthly perception it appears that man is above all the body itself, which somewhere within binds the spirit firmly into itself, in reality the spirit stands independently and is to a great degree independent of the body in its decisions

This holds good, however, when his impulses proceed from the radiated intuitive perceiving of the spiritual spark, that is, from intuitive vibration

Throughout the time of his life on earth the spirit uses the earthly body for his expression as a temporary field of activity, in that he radiates through it and thereby rules it

So that this expression could be as close as possible, the animistic, at the bidding of the Light, formed between body and spirit a perfectly working bridge

The bridge between spirit and body is formed precisely by the radiation of the blood, which is again of unconsciously animistic origin

It is, however, a most highly sensitive animistic radiation that the blood bears within it, and therefore the radiation proceeding from the inner spark of the spirit can also unite with it very closely

It is thus both figuratively and literally that bridge upon which, in the highest sensitivity, animistic radiation meets with spiritual radiation

For this reason blood is subconsciously so highly prized by men, and for this reason it is spoken of in so many worthy works of authors treating of the higher meaning of human existence

The blood – the radiation of the blood is of greater importance than men today so much as suspect

On the side of the animistic it is precisely that unconsciously animistic which the Alphar are permitted to use for the forming of the living earthly organism

This is important to bear in mind, for in our further approach the unconsciously animistic will yet have an important part to play for the right understanding of all the connections in this treatise here presented

Man owns nothing in Creation save that his inner spiritual spark makes it possible for him, through itself, to experience spiritual consciousness

Through self-conscious spiritual volition he is permitted to take part in the great Harmony of life in the work of Creation

In order that the spirit may experience this, there is granted him by God, on all planes of development, everything needful in the coverings prepared for him through the working of the animistic servants

Whether it be the animistic covering, the ethereal one, or the further intermediate stages of the soul needed for the connection with the earthly body, everything is always beautifully and most carefully set and made ready for the human spirit by the animistic helpers

In the materialities the spirit is then enabled, for a right sojourn in the body, to use the earthly covering through the bridge of the radiation of the blood

In this happening lies the possibility of the human spirit's existence in gross materiality with all the glory that belongs to it

The blood forms the connection with the body and enables the spirit, thanks to this connection, to experience strongly all the impressions bound up with the bodily covering, which science calls sense-feelings

The blood, quickening the nerves in the body, allows the spirit to feel the pains and the pleasures offered him by the otherwise wholly unconsciously animistic radiation out of which the earthly body is woven

The animistically unconscious radiation of the body lies in its cellular structure, of which it is built up, just as are the organisms of all other living creatures on earth

Every single cell of the body is at its foundation formed out of animistically unconscious radiation

And this radiation was in the end used according to its kind by the Alphar, that they might fashion for the human spirit also his earthly body to measure

The radiation of the spirit penetrates into this earthly body, to rule it, through the circulation of the blood

The spirit has a close connection with the body only for so long as the blood circulates in it, forming the bridge for all the living perception which the body granted to him mediates to the spirit

Thereby an important recognition may come to the human spirit, one which has already in part been discovered, namely that if the radiation of the blood is altered in some direction, there follows a loosening or a complete severing of the connection, and the spirit feels nothing of what is at that moment happening in the body, despite the fact that the body in its unconsciously animistic nature is still living

This state we know from experience, when a substance is administered to the body whose effect influences the radiation of the blood to such a degree that the connection of the spirit with the body is weakened, as is the case for example in sleep, or perhaps during some medical work upon the body, when the spiritual perception must be loosened, so that there remains only a temporarily solitary body, which in its unconsciously animistic nature feels nothing at all, and this despite being kept alive by the circulation of the blood

The needful radiation of the bridge which makes the waking day-consciousness possible is, however, weakened, and thereby the power is lacking for the transmission of the nerve-stimuli

Although the body is alive, the spirit is more separated and feels nothing of what is happening to his unconsciously animistic covering

The cellular life of the body is nourished by the radiation of the blood, although this same blood at that moment allows nothing to be felt of pain or of other stimuli upon the body

This bears witness that the body is for the spirit only a temporary anchorage in the material world, that it is a wholly independent unconsciously animistic radiation, which stands in connection with the spirit solely and only through the bridge consisting in the radiation of the blood

The human body is not the property of man in the sense in which he has hitherto supposed

It is lent to him temporarily to inhabit and to use

Men need only reflect upon this and they will quickly discover how many errors and false conceptions still prevail about it, and how banefully these work upon the condition of the earthly body and upon the abiding spiritual immaturity

We need only look at all the interventions, alterations and disfigurements which are so often carried out today by men upon the original gift of the earthly body

We find for the most part only a wholly irresponsible stewardship of the human body, for which the mature human spirit ought to care as for a supremely precious gift that enables him to experience valuable hours in this gross material plane

It may be said that in this men go in every respect against all the original ordinances of the Wisdom of God, which made possible the arising of this part of the materialities for the development of the human spirit

In their present-day mental attitude men do not regard their own spiritual origin, and at the same time they also go against the animistic ordinance in which lies the grace of the granting of the earthly body on the part of the animistic weaving

Today the spiritual within and the animistic without are alike neglected by men

And precisely here we come to that part which is important in connection with the recognition that Hareiars and Haerthemis now hold a certain dominion over the unconsciously animistic radiation in this part of the universe

What follows from this, men will understand in the near future

Their bodies are now for a great part given over to the tension in the threads of fate, which are subjected to the pressure of the Power of the Light, that Power which Hareiars and Haerthemis bring wherever it is to be proved that all things vibrate in concordant Harmony

As has already been said before, the Harmony in the work of Creation is the same as the Will of God

Where, then, all the radiations within and in the coverings of the human spirit bear in themselves accord with the Harmony that penetrates everything in the work of Creation, there the threads will be strengthened to an unprecedented expansion and to an inflow of further mighty power

But where there is something obstructive which does not permit accord with the said Harmony, there, under the heightened tension, will come the blow and the collapse

In the case of the human spirit the most precious thing is always the accord in the inward vibration of his own spiritual spark

But it is also needful that all the coverings which enable the spiritual spark to wander through the Subsequent Creation, so that it may develop successfully, should be rightly radiated through

With man, then, it is that inner living radiation, filled with kindliness and ardour, which is to well forth continually as purely joyful waves from his inner being outwards

Everything else is subordinated to this fundamental radiation and appears always as a consequent radiation

This means very much for a right understanding

If the spiritual inner being is not in accord, then in the end the body too will now be struck, even though it be in itself young and to all appearance healthy

In the inflow of the intensified radiation there may thus come attacks of great pain, because some part of the animistically unconscious radiation will be exposed to pressure, since one of the threads of fate will require it

There may also come a sudden collapse, partial or even total, of the activity of the unconsciously animistic radiation in the body, and thereby the separation of the spirit from his temporary earthly home, the bodily covering so precious to him, may be enforced

The unconsciously animistic radiation out of which the earthly body is woven is now wholly subject to the pressure with which, at the bidding of Parzival, Hareiars rules over all the stages of matter

Therefore it is possible to speak of a growing tension in the threads of human fates, for as has already been said, all radiation in the Subsequent Creation must now submit to the pressure of the Light

And Hareiars is the one who with his power will relentlessly enforce this pressure

Such is the prospect, which should lead many a man to serious reflection upon whether he will truly stand firm in what is coming, both inwardly in spirit and outwardly with his body

Whoever therefore already now occupies himself with that call to a hundred days of inward transformation for the better, he can gain much under this pressure

He will also be protected by the very same pressure which in other men will call forth tempestuous happenings in their health and in the whole anchorage of the human spirit in this part of the materiality of the earthly world

At the same time, together with the streams of the Light which manifest in the harsh animistic expressions of Hareiars' working, there also come to men on earth, in an intensified kind, streams of spiritual help

Together with the happening in the animistic there now flows also an inflow of spiritual enlightenment for everyone who opens himself to this spiritual blessing

They are two magnitudes side by side, bearing the glorious fulfilment of the Love of God, which always joins the urgent pressure enforcing progress nearer to Harmony together with a strengthening endowment that precisely through recognition shows the way leading to Harmony

One part of the Love of God is, in its wise severity, pressing persistently upon all that is deficient and in its foundation false, for it always looks to what truly profits the spirit, and the other part is that which brings support and help to the spiritual nature of man, that he may become awakened in recognition and thereby consciously and voluntarily take his place as a harmoniously sounding particle within the great Harmony in the work of Creation

And as was mentioned, this Harmony is nothing other than the Will of God itself, present in all happening in Creation

It is thus, side by side at the same time, the enforcing of concord with this Will of God on the one hand, accompanied on the other by a bestowing, helping showing of the right way

Both are now intensifying in an unprecedented manner

The crushing pressure driving all that vibrates wrongly towards collapse, as well as the inflow of knowledge bringing enlightenment for all those human inner beings which still purely long for a better existence

It stands already not far before mankind

It may even be said that for a fourth year now we are wholly surrounded by events pointing in every respect to this happening as it runs its course

Before us lie only further stages bringing the intensification of the great liberation, already being fulfilled, of this part of Creation from the shadows still dwelling here of a darkness and an ignorance grown far too rampant

Every man who is inwardly purely attuned to the good should joyfully welcome all this, for to him too it will in the end bring only blessing and benefit in every direction of his life
