THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – March 21, 2022

Every time that hitherto the Divine Ray, provided with protective coverings, penetrated through the planes of the work of Creation down into the Subsequent Creation as Divine rescue sent for the liberation of the spirits imploring there for help, there was always sent together with this fulfilling help a multitude of angels also, so that these might co-operate in the work of rescue

This happening was a part of the coming of the Son of God Jesus, and in the same way the hosts of angels accompanied Parzival and Maria when these entered into the materialities of the Subsequent Creation for the purpose of supporting and of purifyingly strengthening the development of human spirits

Now, when the Ray of Parzival is ever closer to this Earth, so that the fulfilment of the Judgment of God over mankind may be completed, at this very time there are also around it the hosts of angels which have descended down from the Grail

The angels are not here merely as a pleasing escort of the vessel of Parzival, radiant into the far distances, which, formed as it is, works at the very outermost place of the Ray going forth from the Grail, but they are sent here as executive beings which bring reinforcement and strengthening to all the working of the animistic servants

Hitherto it was not necessary to speak of the presence of the angels here in the Subsequent Creation in this time of the Judgment, because it would only have brought greater confusion for serious readers

Now, however, we can go further and bring closer the description of the whole happening above this Earth

The animistic ones of the elements and the weavers of all the happenings in the Subsequent Creation, who have their original seat in Valhalla, come from the ray of the primordially created Mercury, one of the knights serving Parzival most closely in the blinding Light of the Castle of the Grail

Out of his serving Will the foundation of Valhalla was formed, and out of his distantly extended Will there arose also, as the first servant of Valhalla, O-dio-nar

The animistic in Valhalla has its origin in the Grail, with the Grail it is permanently bound through the primordially created Mercury, and at the same time it is also in part bound with all the executive beings in the Primordial Creation, which are precisely the angels of the various kinds of service

The angels, as beings serving the Holy Spirit, stepped forth at the very beginning of the coming into being of the work of Creation outside the Realm of God, at the command which descended down from the Throne of God with the words “Let there be Light!”

They were contained in this Divine command, for they are the shapers of the Will of God in all the planes of the Light

There is therefore in them a certain, though very distant, portion of the homogeneous, which makes them akin to everything in the work of Creation where we find animistic working

Thus now, when together with the Ray of Parzival the intensified Light is present in the nearness of the Earth in the world-part of Ephesus in the direct effect of the radiation of the Grail, it is already easy to grasp that in this Light the hosts of angels too have drawn near to the Earth, so as to co-operate in the fulfilling in the Judgment as the extended active power of Parzival

The presence of the angels, however much these remain above the matter of the Subsequent Creation, brings through their radiation an immediate increase of strengthening movement for all the activity of the servants who have their starting point in the halls of Valhalla

If therefore the rustling of whole rows of snow-white angelic wings is spoken of, then this is not to be merely a cause for inner joy in purely attuned human spirits, but it is above all a great exaltation for all animistic working in the materialities

It is only necessary to attune oneself rightly to it and at once there arises for the human spirit a picture giving answers to such a great number of questions hitherto burning

These questions not seldom concern conceptions of how something such would be possible, as for instance a change in the hitherto course of events, which here upon Earth do after all have a certain speed of happening and above all an inertia in time

The reinforcement through the near working of the angels brings an unprecedented strengthening and an acceleration of the happenings

These happenings are also known to men as miracles

At the same time, however, these angels, who remain above matter, by their presence strongly exalt everything pure and luminous that is embedded in the materialities, indeed they literally draw it magnetically upwards to the Light

Hence that inner exaltation which from time to time trembles through the inner being of those men who still carry within themselves at least a little of pure childlikeness

The homogeneity which lies in the pure childlikeness that here and there some man perhaps still preserves has its origin in the spiritually animistic spark of the spirit

The nearness of the angelic hosts above this Earth works like a homogeneously attuned echo which in pure moments sets the inner being of man trembling and with a peculiar power literally draws him upwards, as though it wished by force to carry him away to the luminous heights

This happening is caused by the presence of the animistic nature of the angelic hosts accompanying the Ray of Parzival, which is above this universe for the release of the Judgment now running its course

And thus the presence of these high animistic servants from the heights of the Primordial Creation works through several effects which men in earthly bodies are unable to recognise rightly, still less to grasp

Yet these effects are plain and self-evident, because they reflect within themselves the simple nature of all the manifestations of the Laws of Creation

The angels have in their nature always a portion of magnetic attraction for everything that bears within itself at least a fragment of a similar animistic nature

And because the animistic servants coming from Valhalla are formed out of the same kind as the animistic foundation of the angels, however much their inner radiance and power is many times weaker, they are directly attracted by a magnetic effect to the shining hosts surrounding Parzival in the Subsequent Creation, wherever He is with His hosts

The animistic servants are attracted so as to drink into themselves the glow and the enchanting power issuing from the higher animistic nature of the angelic servants

It happens to them as when, after a cold night, all light-loving creatures expose themselves to the radiant rays of the morning sun

The animistic draws into itself that radiance of the animistic nature of the angels and rejoices in the reinforcement which this brings it

As life revives when the chill of night gives way before the rays of the morning sun, so does all life in this part of the Subsequent Creation now experience the influx of the Light which the hosts of angels bear within themselves

The hosts of the luminous beings of the angels with snow-white wings radiate by their origin blessing into the far distances for all life, and at the same time their message announces the cleansing and the renewal of all the life that is to stand firm in the Judgment

It is an undulating stream of Light which sounds like a mighty choir demanding of all creatures the highest degree of purity, yet at the same time it also appears as a delicate sound bearing within itself a mercy and a loving-kindness such as is unknown in these regions of the Subsequent Creation

The Justice of God and the Love of God permeate these hosts at the same time, in which there is nothing personal, for the beings of the angels know only one thing – the highest degree of faithful service to God and to the Light

And this sound works, despite many inner obstacles, to a certain degree as magnetically attractive upon a great number of human spirits also, who have not yet closed themselves entirely to something higher

The nearness of these messengers and servants, who have descended down to the materialities from heights that no one here can reach, mightily sets trembling the spiritually animistic nature of the human spirit, which is in part present in the foundation of the inner spark

It is as though the inner being of man were remembering something ancient that is recorded somewhere deep in the subconscious

Thus works the echo of the rustling of the white-shining wings of the angels

This is because that ancient spiritual stream, out of which the most basic spiritual in man was permitted to be formed and to arise to consciousness, once drew also with all the rest of life, then resembling nebulous veils, past the places where already at the beginning the hosts of angels worked in the development of the Primordial Creation

Therefore it echoes distantly only in a kind of most delicate form of memory in the man who opens himself to it

It is all too delicate, tender and fragile, and so it is always very quickly drowned by the density of thoughts and feelings which surround earthman here upon Earth so strongly

And yet, if through the endeavour for the most delicate, precious receptivity a man opens himself to it in his inner being, then it can at once work upon him too just as attractively and magnetically as upon the animistic servants of Valhalla

If he can do this, he should then tend it as the most precious treasure, if his inner being is still permitted to catch that sound which now comes from the closely working hosts of angelic beings

And it is also especially the inner being of woman which through its more spiritually animistic nature is the more uplifted

The inner being of woman carries within itself the capacity for a higher degree of attunement to the streams of sound which have drawn near to this Earth through the angels, who accompany the Ray of Parzival in the fulfilment of all the promises of the Judgment of God

That higher animistic quality of woman is not and never was connected with the animistic kind of Valhalla, but in its spiritual origin it stands closer to that animistic quality which lies in the angelic kind of servants working in the purest faithfulness to the Light in the Primordial Creation

Although it is only a tiny portion, bound up with the higher receiving capacity of the feminine spiritual origin, it nevertheless enables earthly womanhood for receptivity and also for a homogeneous attunement to the angelic streams of sound more than is the case with the spiritual masculine kind, which by its position stands rather outside these streams

This is because the masculine spiritual kind is fitted rather for harmony with and for the receiving of the radiation of the animistic coming from Valhalla, which is destined for the Subsequent Creation for the effective transforming of the materialities

Of course we speak here only of the smallest kind of difference, which moreover, in the case of even the slightest coarsening in a woman, is at once lost like a buried treasure that is already almost forgotten

Nevertheless every spiritual spark that still shines with life and movement has the possibility of finding the echo of a distant recollection of those ancient times when the streams of the unconscious spiritual kind, descending down through the planes, drew past the places in the radiant heights of the Light where the choir of angelic working resounded

It was precisely the angelic hands which under the guidance of the Wisdom of God drove these streams of the spiritual to the places where alone they were permitted to settle and in quiet trembling to ripen towards a gradual initial becoming conscious

This stream, like all the life that is in the heights of the work of Creation, was permitted to be gladdened by the nearness of the exalting vibration of the angelic kind

It is precisely the wings of the angels and their delicate rustling that accompany, like a distant echo, every inhabitant of the work of Creation in his fulfilling existence or even still upon the path of his development, and which are a reminder of the Divine greatness contained in all life in the work of Creation

In the work of Creation everything happens with a genuineness which at the same time does not lack that highest splendour and a certain fairy-tale quality of which men here upon Earth can only dream

It is only in the earthly world that men have formed for themselves, through the earthbound nature of their intellect, a space out of which all higher receptivity for an enduring connection with the luminous streams has been crowded

Therefore it is only something distant which draws near only here and there, so as to set the inner being trembling as a warning against complete spiritual languishing

And yet it ought today to be experienced among men as harmony with the joyful glorification of the Creator, which alone fills the animistic nature of the angelic servants

An all-overpowering joyful surrender to the Light for the highest endeavour of complete harmony with the harmony that is permanently contained in the Light, this was to have been experienced by men in a solemn expectation of the changes which come after the long time of mankind's straying upon this earthly plain

The glorification of the Creator and also the strongly attracting radiation of the Light, all this is the work of the hosts of angelic servants, which work with their sacred vibration down into the lowlands of the materialities of the Subsequent Creation

If men were permitted to behold for only a short moment that dignified greatness and withal joyful vitality which permeates this happening, they would collapse trembling to the ground and would beg forgiveness for ever having doubted God before, and His greatness which gave life to such glorious serving beings as are the snow-white radiant angels

They would surely be overpowered by the glimpse of something so mighty as the trembling of the rows of angels who surround the pillar of Light descending from the heights of the Grail into the materialities, where at the outermost end of this pillar of light the figure of Parzival shines with a blinding lustre

Above Him there hovers the inscription “Behold the Son of Man, He is the one who comes, in the Holy command of God, to fetter evil and to liberate that which He was permitted to find good and also that which has still improved under the blows of His judging sword”

And precisely this inscription, hovering radiantly in the clouds above the figure of Parzival, is the formed glorification of the angels accompanying Him

The radiation of the rows of angels also creates and forms those clouds which are described as the place from which the Son of Man in the Will of God Imanuel will work into all the threads of life

And also through their streams of radiation the individual threads of the new existence are formed, so that in them not only the animistic servants but also those human spirits graced by the Light, who exerted all their endeavour towards transformation through submitting to the Will of God, may be permitted to arise to the new

Submitting means above all the mastering of one's intellect by the spirit, so that the intuitive perception which strives to hold to the great harmony vibrating through the work of Creation may rule also the thoughts and the volition working for the earthly shaping of life

It is therefore not a submitting that goes against the will of man, but it is precisely the awakening of the inner will of a man who in free volition longs to fulfil nothing but accord with the harmony which he finds to be life-giving for all the life around him and for himself as well

And to this inner will, longing for accord with the whole of the universe, it is precisely the nearness of the angelic servants around the Ray of Parzival that brings a great strengthening for earthly men also

Their radiance becomes a part of the working luminous threads which call forth the movement that is to lead to the awakening of the spiritual spark in man

That the radiation is perceived as an all-surrounding pressure compelling an unexpected turn in the conduct of man is caused by the high animistic nature of the angels, for in them a part of the Divine and a part of the Created are joined

Thereby the Divine becomes, through these servants who with unshakable devotion vibrate in the Will of God, in part comprehensible for everything that is in the work of Creation upon all its planes

The angels are the living sparks of the thoughts of the Creator

They work as quickening and at the same time unshakably sure cleansing streams of Light everywhere that it is ordained for them by the Will of God to direct themselves

It is not easy to bring the actual nature of the angels closer to the human spirit, for they will always remain incomprehensible to it already in this, that unlike the spiritual inhabitants they have no will of their own and at the same time work with the most living manifestation of devoted joy in every moment of their service

Unlike the humanly spiritual, the angels merge permanently with the Will of God, they are immersed in it, and their every manifestation is the image of a part of the Divine animistic quality, however much they are bound with this work of Creation by only a small part

That small part of substance from the work of Creation makes them bound with the life in Creation above all in order that they may prepare the way for the Ray of God whenever this either enters out of the Divine through the gate of the Grail into Creation, as at the coming of Jesus, or in the case of Parzival, Maria and also Irmingard coming from the Grail, and these the angels accompanied in the materialities protectingly and also for a joyful salutation from the heights of the Divine Realm

For the earthly spirit this will forever remain a certain kind of mystery, for the union of the Divine with the Created in the animistic kind remains high above the grasp of the human spirit

Thus it will forever remain for it only an experienced reality, if it is ever made possible for it to glimpse something of this and through its inner nature to catch a part of the greatness that lies in it and that always works outwardly as a radiation which in the first moment compels the spirit into a state of being strongly overpowered

However much the angels always bear within themselves a portion of the Love of God, upon the human spirit the immediacy of the power of the radiation always works with a strongly shaking impression which overpowers it, however strong it may consider itself

It is the incomparable superior force of the radiation which shines from the snow-whiteness of the angelic wings, which are precisely the sign of the vibrating in the mighty Will of God

In the luminous heights everything that vibrates wholly in the Will of God bears, as a manifestation of the union with this working, always a certain kind of winged form in all the creatures that are there

Thus also the High animistic servants in Valhalla have, as a manifestation of their union with the Will of God, in some form a kind of pinions in their appearance

For earthman it will still take a while before he inwardly becomes rightly familiar with all this knowledge, which is given to him as a support for ascent, so that he may gradually make it his own and in the end be permitted to rejoice in all of it in a childlike pure acceptance of the prospect which will thereby open for him, so that high above himself he may permanently sense the greatness of the Divine working, which always brings him nothing but splendour and refreshment in all its manifestations and forms, as a strengthening upon the path to the luminous home in Paradise

When men again open themselves to a certain perceiving of the higher happenings in the work of Creation, then together with this renewed connection the lost capacity to experience the fairy-tale quality of their existence will return to them

This fairy-tale quality men ought in reality to have kept as a certain rope which would have led them rightly and gradually upwards to an ever higher connection with the work of Creation, which in itself is a fairy-tale-like glorious manifestation of forms that arose out of the Divine thought of making possible a further life than the Divine and the Divinely animistic

As mediators in this creating and upholding of the thought of God the Father it is precisely the angels that work, who are the sparks of the thoughts which set everything in movement and life

It is not fitting here to speak of how all this is fulfilled in the individual transitions and intermediate degrees, for it would remain above the capacity of comprehension of today's earthly men, still burdened by a far too material intellect

It would always be only a cause for blasphemous dragging down if something wholly beyond its capacities of comprehension were to be laid before the intellect

Also that which is described above belongs only to those who strive to perceive in pictures and who above all leave it to their spirit to be able to raise itself to that perceiving of the fairy-tale splendour of the work of Creation

To those alone can it bring benefit and strengthening

Of the archangels, the Elders and the further inhabitants of the Divinely animistic realm it is not yet fitting here to write anything more closely

For the human spirit the most important thing now is to receive that which is actually taking place in its nearness in this earthly dimension of existence

And there is indeed immeasurably much of it

If men would but strive for the right recognition and understanding of the animistic servants of Valhalla, they would in the turn of a moment be surrounded by a living world of splendour which has hitherto entirely escaped them

They would also cease to ask after the highest things above Creation and would all the more perceive, indeed directly drink in, the joyful weaving of life around them

As at the wave of a magic wand the bandage would fall from their eyes which has hitherto separated them from the world of the exceedingly glorious, industrious working of the animistic servants of Valhalla

In the present time too they would surely be granted a view of the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, and thereby they would at the same time be permitted to catch also the dignified, God-glorifying greatness which permeates the rows of snow-white wings surrounding this Ray in the fulfilling of the happenings of the announced Judgment of God

Oh, how very little men still know of the actual life unfolding in this blessed work of Divine Creation

May this at last change, so that the True Light of knowledge may dwell here upon Earth also
