Still the greatest part of men upon the Earth is persistently gripped by the inertia of a dulled everyday life resembling the never slackening grasp of fingers of steel

The inertia of the thinking of the majority remains in deeply worn ruts fettered to gross materiality through the dominion of the ponderous intellect

In this grip the receptivity for all that is finer, which demands the participation of human intuitive perception, is suppressed

Only for this reason can that happen which we now see everywhere around us

In a time that calls for the greatest exertion of receptivity for all that is born in the human soul, men in their concentration upon the outward world strive to suppress any movements whatever of the finer coverings of their spirit

And through the fact that in the daily exertion of the intellect all this has until now been persistently honed, it has with most of them attained the result desired by the intellect – within their inner being there is silence

The voice of intuitive perception has died away, the conscience has been suppressed, and thereby all capacity for healthy perceiving has been deafened

Only thus could now almost everything in the human world upon the Earth come to a stage which may be called the last particle upon the way to ruin

Mankind works in opposition to all that is right, which vibrates in the Laws of Creation

The inner voice, which in the case of a small part of mankind has still not entirely fallen silent, necessarily cries out against all the shifts in society that are happening today and which are for the most part celebrated as a mark of the advancement of mankind

With the majority, however, this voice is silent

The inner being of men is wholly bewildered by the loud persuasiveness of the social life of the greater part of mankind, which still lingers on today

This clamorous persuasiveness meanwhile, to the sound of the laudatory praise of the self-exalting intellect, moves unstoppably towards a state of madness

Menacingly, against the outward clamour, does the silence of the voice of conscience appear precisely in those moments when in reality there ought now to be the highest call to vigilant watchfulness against all the diseased, and thereby for the spirit dangerous, conduct of men wholly enslaved by the intellect

It is foretold that the last stage of the complete dominion of the material intellect over the spiritual intuitive perception will become a madness torn away from deep inner peace, acting rashly, destructively, in every respect always in opposition to the values of the Light

And mankind has come precisely within reach of this stage

We may behold it in all places over the whole Earth

With receptive people it leads to a growing despair

There is, however, no reason for despairing and for fears, but on the contrary there is here to be an awakening of trust in this, that all that is now happening is a quickening advance towards the approaching beginning of the new age

The growing confusion in the ranks of those who succumb to the influence of the rankly overgrown intellect is therefore to be for all spiritually striving people a summons to look with full trust towards the approaching coming of the changes

All that we see around us announces that already very near is the happening which in the effects of the saving working of the Light will bring an awakening to many people

All that we behold as the visible manifestations of the diseasedness of the intellect, which has already quite torn itself away from the capacity of pure intuitive perception and from human conscience, is a sign of the summit of the ferment, in which at the same time there draws near the liberation and the rescue promised by the Creator for those who are pure in heart

Like the rending of a dense cloud, the sharp rays of the Light of the Ray of Parzival will penetrate into the stifling haze of the plane of thought around the Earth

This will bring the beginning of momentous events, in which there lies as a result the complete shaking of the hitherto existing ruts of learned human thinking

The inertia hitherto will be wholly dissolved by the approaching pressure of the Light, so that with earthly men there may come about a renewed enabling of intuitive experiencing in every moment of the present

Unstoppably and victoriously there advances into the nearness of this part of the universe the great happening which is the necessary preliminary stage of the promised spiritual enlightenment

Human malice, until now artfully veiling the truth of the origin of many outwardly displayed dealings, will no longer be able to halt any of it, however much the people who have joined the front falling into the depths remote from the Light would wish so to do, for they sense that thereby everything base that dwells in them and that they have until now striven to hide before the eyes of other people will be wholly laid bare

They know that their artificially created worth will be shaken in the moment when the actual form of their soul is revealed

The Ray of Parzival, however, will not halt even for a moment, and from a certain point of the development of the happening everything in the whole of mankind will advance forward like falling dominoes

Nothing will be left out

The laying bare of every human soul will be brought to visibility by the Alphar with a skill that is proper to them alone

This will among other things manifest itself in the made-visible mirroring of the fact that as men think and speak of others, such are they themselves in their inner being

"Man, as you judge others, whatever intentions you impute to them, such are you yourself"

Thus will it be brought outward, so that it may even at the last moment shake the conscience of those who have yielded to the supposition that they may think of other people in the false notion that this says nothing about themselves

Laid bare will be all that could until now be hidden, so that it might outwardly confuse all the naively trusting

There will come to the surface all the unlovely things that some people wish upon their fellow men in the moments when they are alone and convinced that no one sees them

Under the heightened tension in the threads of fate all this will gradually be carried outward by the Alphar to visibility

It will bring about events of such a kind that those who still today consider themselves good friends with intellectual people will suddenly in a single moment experience the recognition that the said intellectual people look upon them with cold contempt or even with mockery, and that without a single stirring they are also prepared at any time to cast off those near to them or even publicly to humiliate them, if this appears to them at the given moment advantageous for their own display or for their social advancement

This conduct will go across all the relationships of men, whether in politics, in business relations, in employment, among those of the same religious persuasion, but also in the family and in a thousand further human relationships which until now appear outwardly as a beautiful friendship

Men will be compelled to experience this as a hard sobering out of a foolish dream face to face with the self-centredness of intellectual people

In the course of a single moment all the ideals about the trustworthiness of the so-called educated and of socially successful people will collapse

Where there is no genuine intuitive perception in a man towards his fellow men, there all the deceiving and the dissimulation will show itself

Where among men there is no relation of sincere and pure dealing, there everywhere great shocks will come about

We stand close before the beginning of this happening

For those, however, who themselves strive for pure and straightforward dealing with other people and who also already today perceive the plain manifestations of the immense turning away of mankind from the original harmonious development, there is no reason whatever for fears

Whoever goes through life with open fervour in the expressing of his spiritual intuitive perception remains under the protection of the helpers from the Light

If a purely vibrating spirit maintains its connection with the Laws of God through the fervent experiencing of harmony in his everyday life, then his path remains bound up with a thousand helps which can constantly incline towards him by means of spiritual and animistic protectors

Therefore all those people who under the pressure of the intellectual bewilderment of the majority perceived themselves as forgotten sparks in the dark of night may now look towards the coming time full of trust, for there is contained in all of it for them the fulfilment of a spiritual vindication

The shattering and the collapsing touches only those places where the pride of the intellect dwells, which leads a revolt against the destiny of all things set by the Creator

Yet because in many great events, as well as in the small particles of life, there is to be found too much ingrained human opposition to the All-Wisdom of God, therefore almost everything around earthly man is now shaken in its foundations

Thus grows the chaos, which is in reality only the consequence of the quickened returning of a great part of the threads of fate to individuals and to earthly mankind as a whole

Chaos and seeming unmanageability can be only there where opposition to the Spirit of God endures in man

Only there can we find malice and unrest, for all this arises only and solely out of opposition to Good and to the Light

As soon as anything in the life of men ranges itself into the vibrations of the Laws of God, then at once the effect of the forces in their pressure that calls forth ruins ceases to hold

There, where a man ranges himself into accord with the great Harmony of the work of Creation, there comes about almost at once a calming, a reconciling of all discord, and the way to the building up is found

According to this also those who wish to penetrate into the recognition of the Truth may very well observe where in human dealings there dwells accord with the Laws of God and where not

The strongly working radiation of the Ray of Parzival brings on the one hand ruins upon all that stands wrongly, and beside this at the same time imparts a beneficent strengthening to that which with the highest fervour strives to range itself into the Laws of God

It suffices only to observe everything with a calm gaze, if a man has been permitted to receive the grace of the recognition of the primordial eternal lawfulnesses which are the essence of the very Truth of God

The knowledge of the Truth must always lead to calm and to peace in man

This because his survey reaches beyond all the short-lived happening which now unfolds in the whole earthly world of men

We stand close before the beginning, when all this will be in the highest degree manifest

It will be visible and tangible for everyone, if only the given man will wish to perceive it in a humble grasping of the effects of the Laws of Creation

Unrest before this beginning is a sign of immaturity

Men should pass no swift judgments upon their fellow men, nor express themselves upon many events of which they know nothing closer

Also all endeavours loudly to link the concept of the Will of God with one's own human opinions in an effort to create the impression that it is a matter of the right judgment of a man is a sign of immaturity

Whoever does not see that in much judging of events it is today a matter of two worlds far separated from each other, that is of the world of human opinions and of the world working in the Laws of God, has not yet attained the stage of mature deep inner peace

The truly mature human spirit knows that the perfect executors of the Will of God within the framework of the Laws of Creation are always and solely the animistic servants

Therefore he will always calmly await their working

He will also rely precisely upon their support and protection everywhere where any acting out of his own volition would create the danger that through such dealing there would be formed only a new injustice and wrong, because human comprehension is in its insufficiency far too limited for the just assessment of the greatest part of all weighty decisions

To see and to perceive everything exactly down to the smallest shade of truthfulness in every matter would mean for a man to be in every respect enabled to say with full responsibility "I know everything about the given matter within the framework of the Laws of Creation!"

Something of this kind, however, many people do not wish to hear and prefer in swift judgment to cry "Crucify, crucify!", without having the least knowledge of the motives of those whom they wish to judge

That it is precisely an attitude belonging only to the old human manner of thinking does not occur to many in their limitation

The old ways, however, cannot form the starting ground for the building up of a new life upon the Earth

Any building up that longs to stand firmly and unshakably needs to be built out of the foundation of the knowledge of the Will of God in Creation

And here too great a number of mistakes are made by many otherwise good people

Without the recognition of the Laws of Creation they wish to shape a better world, without suspecting thereby that the leader chosen by them in this is again and again the repeatedly overcultivated intellect, which does not permit the participation of the spirit through the survey of intuitive perception and of conscience

And yet the condition of true building up is precisely, on the part of man, the necessarily abidingly present intuitive perception and conscience in the examining of the Laws of Creation

Without the participation of intuitive perception, of the pure vibrating of personal responsibility and without conscience, nothing at all can be built today upon the Earth that is to carry within it the promise of blessing and the prospect of permanence in withstanding the coming storms

And it is precisely the grip of the old ruts of thinking that is the greatest obstacle to any advance forward

Meanwhile the greatest pitfall for everyone is the necessity of becoming aware of his using of his old thinking

The old ways of thinking are so deeply ingrown into the comprehension of man that they almost always create that first and fundamental obstacle, residing precisely in the recognising of all that belongs to the old

The failure to recognise the old ruts in the thought-processes of man is therefore the greatest pitfall of everyone who now lives upon the Earth

Although this appears difficult, in reality it is not so very difficult

The way out is simple childlikeness, which is entirely freed from the claim of the intellectual volition to "know everything better"

If a man frees himself from this pernicious noose of the intellect, which fetters the greatest part of mankind, then everything else in the laying aside of the old thinking will become a thousand times easier for him

Simple childlikeness, glowed through with the volition of all-embracing good, freed from the vanity of the intellect, is the way to a new beginning, in which the great treasures of spiritual enlightenment are to be found

Everything in man should therefore be directed towards this kind of attunement

Man should have within him in the first place always only purely spiritual intuitive perception, which leads man by the most natural way to the all-embracing volition of good

The all-embracing volition of good is the most important condition for earthly man to withstand all that now comes

Therefore there is borne also, like an accompaniment sounding through the spheres of the Ray of Parzival, a call to all human spirits

"Live purely and simply!

Only thus will the Loving-Kindness of God be able to incline towards you throughout the whole time of your wandering through the levels of the Subsequent Creation

Only through the pure and joyful unfolding of the abilities laid by the Light into the essence of your spiritual spark will you be abidingly welcome guests in the glorious work of God!"
