For the recognition of the Creator and of His work of Creation no one needs any extraordinary education of an earthly kind
The Will of God can be found by man at every moment even in the smallest particle of His work
There is no condition here, nor any peculiarity which man would have to acquire in addition as a superstructure to his natural ability to recognise the All-Wise Will of God
Therefore all excuses are also entirely beside the point when some people say that they have no aptitude for it and that it is only for those who are learned in the spiritual sciences
Such excuses only clumsily conceal indolence
Indolence leads to backwardness and to the coarsening of all the values of human conduct
And whoever stoops to coarseness turns aside from the right direction of his path towards spiritual maturity
He is in danger of becoming only a caricature of his original spiritual personality
The work of Creation cannot support caricatures in the case of the human species indefinitely, and therefore the danger of annihilation threatens all those who in their dullness have long remained inwardly backward
In reality everyone should occupy himself with the recognition of God and of His Will in Creation, and that in absolutely every moment of his existence
Within man there lies the equipment necessary for this, proceeding from his spiritual nature
The foundation is to be found in the spiritual spark itself, which expresses itself through purely spiritual senses
We may speak of conditions ideally set by the Creator within the inner being of man
No one is deprived in this, and thus at the same time no one is excluded from the requirement that every human spirit shall become a conscious inhabitant of the work of Creation
These conditions equip each one of us for a fully valuable approach, receptive in intuitive perception, to everything he encounters precisely through his spiritual senses
Although it is more or less self-evident, it is fitting to point out that the spiritual senses are something entirely different from the senses of the earthly body as we know them
They have an entirely different range of receptivity and of abilities
They cannot be confused with, or even merely likened to, the properties of the gross material senses
All the spiritual senses are concentrated into one integral spiritual faculty, which we call the faculty of intuitive perceiving
Among the spiritual senses that belong to the equipment of every spiritual spark there is, for example, receptivity to all that is supra-earthly
But there is much more, as when for example the receptivity of the intuitive perception is able to follow the paths of further development and rightly to sense happenings which as yet still lie concealed in the future sequence of development
Through the senses laid within it the intuitive perception is also able rightly to recognise when and how the intervention from the Light will come against everything that runs contrary to the Laws of Creation
It is able to distinguish what within these Laws is worthy of forgiveness and what can be lived through only symbolically
Through the receptivity of the senses it is also able to recognise what will therefore have to be subjected to reciprocal experiencing, however harsh
All this, however, applies here on earth under conditions of inner purity, and then only in the case of one who, for the sake of his right intuitive perception in the matter concerned, is able to free himself entirely from personal sympathy, or conversely from any form of rancour and ill-will
The spiritual senses were meant to be refined to the utmost precisely in the experiencing of life here on earth through constant movement, which is possible only under the condition of a living and right use
This was always meant to be developed, for precisely therein lies for man the possibility of the highest degree of use, up to the degree of human mastery
If from his very origin man carries within him the predisposition for something so important as the recognition of the Creator and of His work of Creation, then it may be said that it is a duty to use and to develop this predisposition
Through a developed intuitive perception man may receive answers to all the questions that arise within him
All the answers too, when the concept God is uttered
That vast mosaic of the picture of the knowledge of God and of His work of Creation was always meant to be completed
The greatest things, just as the smallest, bear witness omnipresently to the Wisdom of God, if only this is rightly perceived by man through clear intuitive perceiving
Everything needed for this is laid within the inner being of every man
In this no one is impoverished or set back, so long as he himself has not buried his gifts
For the right perceiving of God's work of Creation truly no special social standing is needed, thus neither earthly wealth nor learning
In the end not even the knowledge of reading or writing is needed
Although today the knowledge of reading and writing acquired by most people is a good helper for man, in reality it was never a conditioning necessity for the recognition and the worship of the Creator
For thousands of years it was so that people perceived the work of Creation differently from the way it is done today, that is, through the intellect
For the right understanding of everything within us and around us we need once again to bring the faculty of intuitive perceiving into the highest mobility
Through mobility in intuitive perceiving everyone needs to walk through life with receptivity for all the signs that cannot be grasped in words
Precisely therein lies the key to spiritual enlightenment
Spiritual enlightenment is connected with the awakening and the developing of the receptivity for the joining together of connections, which only as one integral picture bear witness to the perfection of the Will of God, which determined the paths of all development in the work of Creation
In this joining together is to be found the understanding of the whole work of Creation, for in Creation there is nothing that does not have a natural beginning
Without a beginning there is nothing further, and this applies to absolutely everything that is to be found in the work of Creation
With this most people also agree
And yet there are only very few people who in this manner of natural comprehension would proceed ever further and further, back to the primordial origin of the arising not only of the universe but much further still, back to the arising of all the forces that formed the universe
And to these paths of development, which are the starting foundation of the arising and the continuance of the spheres and the world-parts of the materialities in the Subsequent Creation, the animistic servants of Valhalla belong inseparably
Without the knowledge and the understanding of all the parts of their all-embracing activity a right understanding of the Will of God is not possible
These are connections inseparable from one another
Here in the Subsequent Creation the animistic servants are the fulfillers of the Will of God through the living flow of all the happenings that fulfil the lawfulnesses whose starting foundation is precisely and solely the Will of God
And man awakened in his inner being may recognise all this, may penetrate into it with his intuitive perceiving and then, with the highest ability, ever behold the whole within the individual particles of the happenings
In deep inner peace and with a childlike joyfulness that benefits his inner being, everyone then rejoices who may recognise the Will of God in its true application for this world
He becomes a true connoisseur of life, for the experiencing of all happenings within himself and in the world around him is to him the most precious textbook
His spiritual inner being grows and gains in strength, for in the comprehension of God's Laws it is granted to him to thrive in the most right manner of existence
This is because the Creative Will that permeates everything can be recognised through intuitive perceiving with the inner being
It is precisely the inner being of man, in its natural receptivity, that is capable of recognising the Will of God contained in the effects of the Laws of Creation, which are the originators of all happenings not only in nature but also in the world of men itself
The inner being leads to a perceiving of the world through the simple and childlike experiencing of all happenings
Man therefore needs nothing more than an open inner being which has acquired within itself mobility in the perceiving through intuition of everything that unfolds around him
In order that he may succeed in seeing the presence of the Will of God around him it is necessary to develop something entirely different from what is developed by men today
Hitherto men have developed only the material manner of thinking, that is, the manner which we may call the taking over of the experiences of others
What others had arrived at was taken over so that it might be woven into one's own attitudes
The experiences of others were thereby accepted as one's own, regardless of how strongly these very experiences of others make man rootless in his life, for they separate him from his own experiences
The spiritual spark in man carries with it its own experiences from the development which it has already accomplished itself
Here on earth it is the custom that these own experiences are not lovingly supported, but that everything external is pressed in, in the belief that this is the best equipment for the attainment of man's success in life here on earth
Thereby an enormous number of people remain like strangers in their own lives, because they endeavour to live according to the alien experiences and opinions of others
Those opinions which over whole centuries have often proved to be pernicious are applied again and again, and that with only small outward variations
In many cases these opinions make of the nobler spiritual being here on earth an instinct-driven animal that is governed by the law of struggle and of propagation
Though it be wrapped in seemingly civilised forms, the foundation always remains the same – the pressure to submit to the disposition of the majority, which is meanwhile entirely torn away from the original meaning of human existence on earth
All knowledge of everything higher is torn down or deformed by the pressure of the world of thought, which is the source of ready-made dogmas of opinion
Although every man bears within him the intuitive perception which, if it is used rightly, may perceive on an independent path, through living imagery, the entire sequence of all connections
But for a long time now children have no longer been guided to this living work
Everything is built upon the taking over of what is already formed and shaped here in advance by people who formed their experiences here in accordance with their maturity and their spiritual lukewarmness
And these paths of opinion are held to, however great the number of errors that lies within them
A rightly perceiving intuition would always be capable of recognising these errors and of rebelling against all the ingrained dogmas
But this would apply only if the intuitive perception were living and were also supported towards further liveliness by right inspiration from its surroundings
This, however, does not happen
On the contrary, the outward surroundings have themselves already become far too attached to the rigidity of interpretations which bear the marks of dogmas, however much this must cry out with disagreement in the inner being of most people
Much harm was done in this, which had to leave its mark upon all the generations, and that especially over the last centuries
There was developed the skill of that part of the brain which we call cleverness for this world and which therefore concentrates entirely upon the material world alone, through the senses and the feelings
For the majority, however, this became above all only the labour of taking over ready-made opinions found in the long-established world of thought
Thereby that part which bears within itself the ability to connect with higher perceptions through inspiration and intuition necessarily remained aside
In the delicacy of these abilities there is concealed, together with pure receptivity, also the genuine spiritual intuitive perception
God's work of Creation stands permanently open like a great book which makes it possible to attain the highest wisdom
The beginning of the development of the intuitive perception lies in the reversal of the human view of the world held hitherto, and above all of the real meaning of human life on earth
Human life is first and foremost closely connected with the spiritual manner of comprehending the meaning of existence
For something of this kind there needs to come alive in intuitive perceiving and in thinking the understanding that everything which has proceeded directly from the Will of God swings in complete Harmony and in the Light
The man who seeks a firm point for his understanding of the world and of all that happens in it can always take hold of this sure foundation, which will never leave him in doubt that the forming and the sustaining of the worlds proceeded solely from the bestowal of loving Grace upon all life by the Creator Himself
Harmony and wholeness swing in everything to which man directs the attention of his intuitive perceiving
Together with this foundation he may then find the support of the omnipresently working Laws of Creation, which at every moment are set into living happening by the hands of the animistic Alphar, the creators of the entire environment in which the human spirit finds itself for the fulfilment of its own development towards spiritual perfection
Man is surrounded by a thousandfold proofs bearing witness to the fullness of Grace of God, which through experiencing moves him ever forward in the possibility of gaining experiences
Even a single picture from daily experiencing, grasped in full receptivity, conveys to man the answers to all questions
In any grasped moment of existence the vividly receptive man may recognise the manifestations of the Laws of Creation filling absolutely everything, from the visible forms proceeding from without inwards to the atoms, up to the most delicate vibrations of thoughts and of intuitive perceptions
All this stands under the uniform effect of the Laws of Creation, which drive everything forward in the unstoppable flow of development
At every moment man can thus, through his volition, move together with the surrounding development of the whole work of Creation in the most magnificent harmonious accord
So easy it is, and yet men have never rightly understood it
They could have let themselves be led by their own volition for all-embracing good, and their paths would thereby have been formed only towards good, however much a diversity of natures and of maturities of individuals would have prevailed here on earth at the beginning
It could all have fitted into one another like the wheels of a perfect mechanism
Today, however, this original easy progression through life is overgrown with a multitude of thoughts, whereby man is governed by rigid opinions which he has subconsciously taken over from others, and therefore he explains nine parts out of ten of his perceiving and understanding of life incorrectly
He draws incorrect conclusions, which lead him to further incorrect decisions, from which in the further development he will necessarily have to recognise his errors and faults
Since what is happening in the present of his existence is not clearly and distinctly perceived by man, he becomes ever more entangled in the arising consequences of his faulty decisions
Faulty decisions because in his deciding he does not rely upon his own living perceiving through intuition, but upon the experiences of other people, who have formed for him erroneous archetypes concerning the meaning of life and of everything within it that is regarded by men as valuable and fully worthy
Therefore the present demand of the coming spiritual enlightenment on earth is the complete release from all the dogmas and errors which here still strive to maintain their predominance over everything more advanced
It means abandoning many such ingrained dogmas as prevail in the opinions concerning the meaning of human life on earth
And in order that the old may be abandoned, the ability of one's own independent intuitive perceiving needs to come alive in man in full strength
Mobility in intuitive perception is a part of spiritual enlightenment
The ability of independent perceiving and comprehending of the work of Creation is the most precious thing that man may receive in his spiritual ascent and in the attainment of wisdom and of the maturity of his own self
Independent perceiving through intuition is also a necessity for the one who wishes to stand firm in the new disposition of the world of thought, which will fundamentally change with the coming of the announced spiritual enlightenment
And because many people do not know at all what it means when it is said that perceiving through one's own intuition is a necessity, there lies before us a period of great upheaving events which will bring the unseating above all of those who merely suppose that they are mobile in their independent intuitive perceiving, although they are only narrowly dependent upon what has been told them or upon what they have somewhere read as the ready-made opinion of another person
And such people are everywhere today
Therefore it is precisely to be expected that in the coming events the greatest upheavals will occur in human intuitive perceiving and thinking themselves
There will come a gradual loosening of the constriction and a renewed unfolding of the activities of those parts of the brain which were ligatured by the rank intellectual activity of the frontal brain
To those people who inwardly long for a change in spiritual maturing it will bring blessing in the becoming luminous of their receptivity, which will enrich them in every respect
To the majority, however, it will bring confusion and indignation with themselves
That to which they have long ascribed significance and importance will collapse within a short time like a building standing insecurely upon shifting sand
Suddenly it will not be so much the practised exercise of assent, the blind agreement which easily becomes fawning, that is valued far more highly, but it will be genuine independence and the ability of one's own decision, joined with the acceptance of full responsibility for one's deeds
All this even at the price that man will be mistaken and will therefore make mistakes
Through mistakes which are recognised and accepted with full responsibility the human spirit ripens precisely and advances forward in worth
And this will be a lasting strengthening towards the renewing power of the spirit
A power which only ever grows if it is maintained in a pure disposition through the self-assured use of one's own intuitive perceiving
Mobility in intuitive perception will gradually come as a complete matter of course for all those who consciously approach the coming time of spiritual enlightenment on earth
For all who have within them the will to develop the pictures mentioned above and to give them out of themselves the necessary liveliness and mobility for the attainment of the supreme art, the very time of spiritual enlightenment that is being announced is now coming
It will be a decisive time for making up all that has been neglected in the important inner development of people as individuals and of mankind as a whole
It will be a blessed time of great, shattering changes
But it will also at the same time be a period which will one day be called by men the great flowering of the spiritual forces
Towards this time we are moving, and it lies in no human power that this development should be halted
