May Your Spirit From This Festival of the Radiant Star Weave Only Threads of the Fullness of Peace

Free yourselves from all malice and hatred

Such is the call of the preparers in the happening of the Light, of the animistic weavers of the threads of fate who at this time of the coming Festival bend down towards human souls

The Alphar, as those who see beforehand what is now coming, call out to men: “Do everything so that in your inner being and in all your thoughts and deeds you may become pure and freed from evil”

Only thus is it possible for men to attain on Earth a manner of living that is blessed from the Light

For the human spirit a path has been formed from the Light along which it is to go if it wishes to reach the spiritual home

Yet it can walk upwards along this path only if, in the first place, together with the recognition of the Creator there is peace in its inner being

Together with a pure creativeness and liveliness for its own activity in Creation, the spiritual inner being of man needs to find a lasting, peace-filled accord with the rest of the weaving of life which accompanies him on his path of maturing

To bear within oneself the will to harmony as the primary starting point of one's approach to all life in Creation means that man needs to free himself from all forms of evil and also from that inner tension which is the cause of unrest and malice

There is no difference between a great or a small malice of men, just as there is no difference between the anger which is manifested outwardly and that which is hidden in silence or is skilfully veiled in deliberately chosen words

Nothing of this can now stand firm

It will therefore be set aside so that it may no longer lay waste the humanly spiritual sparks in their development

Inner malice has already halted so many human spirits on their way to the Light that an end must now be put to it here on Earth too

It is also the greatest obstacle for man in receiving anything higher that now draws near to the Earth from the Light

Where there is no fullness of peace in the inner being, the Light cannot enter a man's life in a helping way

And at the approaching Festival this condition of the Light will stand out still more strongly through the Ray of Parzival, which stands in close nearness above this Earth

Men will thus be sharply divided into those who are filled with peace and all the others in whom a weakness for anger burns, and thereby an inclination towards the volition to cause their fellow men pain and harm

It will bring the so often announced acceleration of the return of all the threads woven by human volition and conduct

Therefore that earnest and at the same time loving call for this inner step of freeing oneself from all kinds of evil in man is in place, evil which has penetrated so strongly into all ways of acting that men are no longer even aware of it

In this respect that winged saying repeated by men, that ignorance incurs no guilt, does not hold good

It does not hold good, for every human spirit, out of its very nature, can always easily sense when malice grows strong within it, without needing any knowledge for it

The essence of its spiritual kind enables it for this with ease

Provided, of course, that he uses this ability

If he wishes, a man can then clearly discern in what places and in what things he is driven by the will of an ill volition born of his own restless irritability and of a feeling of inferiority, out of which the greater part of the evil in Subsequent Creation is born

Hitherto men have paid almost no heed to this, because they supposed it to be unimportant for their earthly life

This, however, is to change

Already with the beginning of the approaching new year it will change, and it will bring unprecedented effects into human destinies

Therefore every man needs speedily to make for himself a great turn towards good, because the development in the happening will again move a further great part nearer to the fulfilment of all God's promises of a new existence of man on this Earth

Therefore all those ways of acting so strongly established in today's human society must at last become the past, ways which bear within them an irritable aggressiveness arising from the perceiving of one's own unfulfilment of existence and thereby inevitably from a feeling of inferiority, out of which there is born as a consequence the volition to attack and to humiliate others under the pressure of one's own inner malice

Evil and the volition to hurt one's fellow men drag this world towards an unanchored fall in which nothing is certain for anyone

Everything has moved far away from a pure objectivity in thinking and acting

With the abandoning of this important ground, on which objectivity in the appraisal of all happening is always to stand as a helper to the spiritual intuitive perception, unobjective conduct poured into the human world, rising even to fanatical evil

Objectivity, and thereby also the capacity for a real upbuilding, therefore had long since to leave the space of human life on Earth

But with the coming Festival there arrives a turning in which men need speedily to extricate themselves from the claws of outward and inward evil

Everyone now needs to find within himself the strongest will to tear this evil out of his inner being once and for all

Through the long-lasting influence of the darkness there was cultivated in men, by the cleverness of the intellect, a vanity as the inevitable manifestation of an inwardly perceived spiritual weakness, pettiness and inferiority, and this vanity was brought to the most diverse blossoms and fruits of venomousness

Thereby there quickly spread among men the seeds which always call forth in a man the endeavour to push away the feeling of his own insufficiency just mentioned, by subjecting someone else to a crushing humiliation by means of a critical condemnation of him

If a man feels for only a moment the desire to experience such a triumph over someone else, then the seed of vanity has certainly already taken root and is growing in him

And this poison has spread above men as part of the atmosphere here which is breathed, and therefore almost no one is any longer aware of it

For a momentary experience of triumph and an impression of their own greatness or strength, men deal one another evil wounds which burn and lead almost at once all those wounded to thoughts of retaliation

It has become something entirely self-evident that other people are subjected by us ourselves to an appraisal of how they stand in life, of how they act, but above all of how in this or that matter, from the point of view of the man appraising them, they are behind and are thereby in his eyes utterly impossible

It has become part of the life of men so strongly that no one is any longer aware of it in his conduct

Honour to all the exceptions who still bear within themselves an inner being that is open ahead of their intellectual view of the world

Otherwise it has penetrated everywhere, into all strata, into all circles of society, into the ranks of work and of friendship, but also into the closest family circles

It has become an atmosphere completely saturated with a disease that eats away anything humanly noble in the approach to other people

Everywhere it is now possible to see the effect of this evil, which however bears within it only the reflection of an inner pettiness, discontent and unrest, in which there is always formed the ground for tension and malice, which are then manifested outwardly by the need to humiliate and ridicule one's fellow men, or otherwise to discredit them at the next suitable opportunity

That there arise from this threads which in the Laws of Creation must return again to their originator, no one among men is any longer able to perceive, and thus to sense in his inner being this endless chain of inevitable atonement

But because men precisely sense nothing of it, it has therefore become an ordinary everyday condition in which it ferments and seethes among men in every form as an all-devouring evil, now more, now less covered over by the abilities of the intellect

Social life today is in reality built on nothing but this appraising of others by attacking their weaknesses and shortcomings, instead of on a mature restraint and an objective fullness of peace

Social success is built on mastery in this way of acting, cultivated in this direction by the intellect, of humiliating others and thereby swinging oneself up above them

Thereby life on Earth has become a place where a hidden cruelty rules among men, filling life with slander and with attacks in every possible form and manner

The seedbed of evil and malice works above all men, so that whenever it is even a little possible it may find its way into the manner of their thinking in their expressions towards their fellow men

It is a heavy curse, created by the darkness and by all its minions, a curse which spreads over this world

And the developing human spirit has become quite lost in it

Only the purest still endeavour in a strenuous struggle to keep themselves above this morass

Whenever a man can shine by pointing out the weaknesses of others, forms already created in the dark ethereal planes join themselves to him, inciting to attack, to humiliation and to mockery

There is always a sufficient store of wounding words, of which a great quantity has been formed over millennia in all the languages of the nations

One of these words, bearing within it a hidden humiliation of the other, is always at hand

A man who opens himself to it is no longer even aware in what places it manifests in his thoughts

He acts thus quite automatically, without being aware what ruin lies in it, in which he too has his share

And every man today is bound up with it to a certain degree, without wishing to admit it to himself

Thus even those who strive to rise above it are also fettered by it and simply do not recognise in what places it lurks, because in every different environment it always has different forms

Therefore the educated consider themselves elevated above the uneducated, the propertied above the propertyless, the more bodily beautiful better than all those less endowed with beauty, the more successful above the unsuccessful

Thus it goes on into the most ridiculous connections, where even among spiritually minded people it has become the cause of mutual attacks in the matter of judging who is outwardly the more orthodox in his spiritual direction

Instead of a loving mutual helping in the laying aside of shortcomings, of which everyone surely has enough, it has become a ground for looking down upon the faults and weaknesses of others

The Words of Christ about helping one's fellow man have vanished from the ways in which men approach one another

Instead of kindliness and a welcoming openness there stands today in every doorway, already in advance, a lying in wait and an appraising of others, only so that a man may feel for a moment that he is better than the others who come to him

In the end even that which was to have been the greatest strengthening has become a place of pestilence, namely all the doctrinal knowledge which was offered to men as a helping hand from the Light through the heralds and also through the Son of God and the Son of Man

This ground too, which was to have protected human compassion most of all and thereby to have preserved the ability to give loving help, has been struck by pettiness and by the all-corroding evil

It is a grievously painful result of our human husbanding of all the grace-filled helps of God which were offered to us from the Light over the course of millennia

And it is still more grievous in the case where, by a call for the Light and for the Judgment of God skilfully constructed by the intellect and outwardly humble, nothing else is pursued than the enforcing of the human will to destroy other fellow men who from the point of view of some doctrine are found to be too different, or rather spiritually apostate and thereby reprehensible, as it is loftily put among men in such circles

And yet it is often rather a matter of others standing in the way of the plans and aims of other people, and therefore almost all do not hesitate to designate one another as evil and bad

It has become such a strong intoxicating poison that in their malice and fanaticism these people are in the end convinced that God will obey their judgments and carry them out

They expect that the Will of God must surely afflict in some way the people they have marked out, if not visibly strike them, because they regard them as unfit for their own exalted world

Thus in impatient waiting there is a lying in wait for the proofs which must surely one day come to vindicate hidden and such unlovely human wishes

And of such ways there are now thousands among men

Men fence far too cheaply with their words to blacken others and suppose that no debt arises for them in it

Debts of this kind in the threads of fate woven out of such conduct grow with unbelievable swiftness

And therefore there now descends the call of the exalted weavers who have already had to prepare the threads that bring to all the doings of men a result which will contain the real Justice of the Divine, which works constantly and unswervingly in the guidance of all the happenings in Creation

These close companions of men bring their last call for the present Festival

Evil in all its forms is to be abandoned by man

That evil which by the stroke of the Judging Sword of Parzival is condemned for ever, and the result draws near in the transformation which will now penetrate also into the gross material world itself

Not so that men may experience in it a satisfaction towards their fellow men, but so that it may once more, for the last time, open their eyes to behold the real recognition that no one is without guilt

From everything unlovely the spirit that longs for the Light is therefore wholly to free and liberate itself within itself, regardless of others, for only one thing pertains to it, to create a new life on Earth that is in accord with the earthly upbuilding of the Kingdom of God

It needs to extricate itself from the endless threads of ever new wrongs which demand atonement

All the will of a bright spirit is therefore to be directed only towards a pure, objective and inwardly open co-creating with other people here on Earth

The Kingdom of God, as the promised realm of quietness and peace, is to be a reflection of Paradise in which men, in proportion to their various degrees of maturity, will seek a common accord and co-operation in life on Earth

And if the Kingdom of God is to be built on this Earth, then those who are worthy of it are to come forward with a visible contribution of their spirit, that is, through their fullness of peace

Whoever sows evil will reap evil, even if he should try to hide this evil behind lofty aims outwardly and skilfully portrayed

As soon as a man attacks other people, whether openly or perhaps covertly in the cleverness of the intellect, he only proves that there is still not sufficiently present in him that fullness of peace willed by God, which precisely in this grave time men most urgently need to awaken for their own rescue

And rescue really is needed by everyone, not only by him who visibly stumbles in his immaturity and overcultivated intellectuality

There is no one here on Earth so finished in his spirit as to be entirely free of the danger that evil may germinate with him a short while hence

The Festival which draws near demands of the human spirit the ability to manifest the fullness of peace at all levels of its thinking and acting

It thus needs to become a living reality, exactly as it was with the first Christians, who truly longed to follow Jesus Christ in the fulfilling of his Words which teach the true spiritual life

In his words Jesus clearly pointed out through what necessary degree of transformation man needs to pass in order to become alive in his spirit

The most precious thing in this transformation is precisely the quickening of the fullness of peace towards all the other inhabitants of the Earth and of the whole of Creation

The Son of God also pointed out that if men hold to this, through their faith in the Justice and Love of God, then in that moment everything in Creation will work for them with the most effective kind of loving help

At this year's Festival of the Radiant Star that fullness of peace is therefore the condition of inner attunement for all people who long to be endowed from the heights of the Grail in the highest time of the influx of the Power of God

Only a complete gentleness in the inward and outward approach to everything that surrounds a man, joined with objectivity in all appraisal, will thus be the condition for the possibility that the power of the Light which everyone so greatly needs may draw near to the spirit

Let all judgments about other people therefore be laid aside, judgments about what, from the point of view of one man, others do wrongly and in what places, according to some, others do nothing but what is bad

For if men do not manage this now they will harm only themselves, their own spirit, and others will not be helped by it even a little

It is the hardest thing which men need to change and to overcome within themselves, for to look upon others with the sharpest critical judgment of their faults has become a discipline of the intellect in which all who use their intellect have become lost

And that is today for the most part the whole of mankind, apart from the exceptions who have no possibility of forming thoughts and judgments in the way that is customary today

Apart from those who are limited in this by a bodily affliction, it is therefore all men

Also those who came to Earth to help the Light in the coming happening of great changes

Without an inner fullness of peace, however, there is no help, for upon this all trust and mutuality between men collapses

No one is compelled to it, but it is at the same time the invisible condition for this Festival which comes in a world of human motives so greatly shattered, at the height of mutual intellectual slandering and aggressiveness

Many ask how they can help the present time, but when a measure of kindliness and of the fullness of peace is asked of them from the Light, to be brought into this world, then there is no longer so much willingness with them, because the intellect at once intervenes in it as a deceitful adviser, pointing out that the highest love is severity and thus that only the highest demand for earthly knowledge and for the acceptance of the Truth is right towards other people and is alone in place

But what the pure and objective severity of the Love of God is, almost no one really knows, because a man's own maturity always intervenes in this severity, and it never permits the interaction of all the happenings that enter into the working upon a human spirit to come into effect

The severity and objectivity of the Love of God is impersonal, but this the human spirit can never develop, for in his approach something of his personal kind will always inevitably manifest

The most personal thing of all that the spiritual spark bears within itself is loving-kindness towards one's fellow man in helping him on his path of ascent

This is to be borne by man inwardly and outwardly as a flame of service to God, going out to meet all other life

And where a man is not sure of recognising the boundary of a loving severity towards his fellow men, there he is then to choose the healthy path of kindliness and of the fullness of peace in all his deciding

Objectively severe can be only the effects of the Laws, which through the threads fall upon human spirits exactly according to how the hands of the weavers, working unswervingly in the Will of God, have woven it

In the dealings of man with man, and also in the judgment of one about another, the All-Wisdom of God, which alone may determine the measure and also the form of Justice, is never present

Men will always only approach this Justice more or less closely

But because, together with maturity, the comprehension of the Justice of God is utterly lacking on Earth, the best equipment for that impersonal approach is precisely the fullness of peace pointed out by Jesus, as the starting ground for everything that happens among men

Whoever is still not sure in his search for a just and at the same time loving path through earthly life can now, with his opened inner being, draw near to the coming Festival of the Love of God, the Festival of the Rose

If he asks for knowledge fervently and truly he will be helped at the time of this year's Festival, and his spirit will be permitted to ripen by a great part on the path of its development

He will be shown the path along which he is to go, and for the sake of which he is to banish all evil from himself and to replace it with the fullness of peace

The Light which descends to him in the hour of the Festival will fill his spiritual inner being to the very last particle with a quickened receptivity for harmony and peace among all men

Thus strengthened, he will then be able to step further into the flow of the days in the new year, which is a year promised to great changes in the life on Earth

Let the spirit therefore weave from this Festival onwards only threads of the fullness of peace, so that the Light may be about it as protection and help in passing through all that still lies before it on its path to the spiritual heights

Let peace and joyful creativeness alone guide the steps of all those who fervently long for the Light
