It is no longer far off

It sounds like a blissful call to all creatures who suffer today

Truly, a great promise draws nearer to life here with every morning sunrise

Out of the threads of the finer spheres there is being formed a change which bears salvation within it

Although mankind will come to it through events of an often unexpected kind, brought by the ferment of the present world happening, therein lies for every inwardly pure human being in the coming years the prospect of the arrival of an entirely new world

It brings with it liberation from the hardships which the material intellect has long been creating

Together with this liberation comes the opportunity of spiritual rebirth

Liberation and rebirth

From both words there breathes a stilling and a hope for everyone who within himself is prepared to receive the Light contained in them

Just as the existing world is being shaken ever more swiftly in its foundations, so just as readily is there woven in the threads of the Alphar that new which will come in order to fill the world with the brightness of enlightenment

And for this new, forms are also to be co-created by men already today, forms which in accordance with the Laws of Creation will bring the foundation of a human society that will arise anew in complete liberation from all that is past

They are to be thought forms destined for the new life

In them is to be found the mentioned promise of refreshment and also of consolation for all people worn out by the hitherto existing way of life

It is to be an influx of strengthening which will wash away all that is deadening, which mankind has adopted in the manner of its learned thinking

From the very foundation the mentality of men is to become quite different

For this, however, the narrow boundaries of rigid thinking must first be removed, for the new liberated world of men cannot fit into the old

Sparklingly pure thinking is always many times greater in its dimension

It is greater with regard to human free will and also with regard to the responsibility for life which flows from it

Both, free will and responsibility, are in their consequences in reality much greater and also more precious than is surmised by men

There is a significant difference in the way men approach these concepts

Alas, men do not wish to admit their indisputable share of responsibility for all that happens on the basis of how they have not yet learned rightly to grasp and to use their free will

Responsibility is closely bound up with the freedom of the spirit

In God's work it is not possible for one of the two to be excluded

Such a thing the Justice of God does not permit

The spiritual in Creation received the gift of free decision in the use of the creative power streaming from God

The condition under which this gift may be handled by the spiritual inhabitants of the work of Creation is responsibility

Responsibility is the counterweight to the free will of all that is spiritual

This is because, if it bore no responsibility for its use of the Power of God, the spiritual species could through the wrong use of it become one who would without restraint weave weakening and disturbances into the work of Creation in the enduring cycle of life

It would become a pest which, without responsibility, in the yielding to its wantonness would have to be tolerated until the very bitter end of the complete destruction of the whole space in which it finds itself, that is, until the destruction of the work of Creation

Such a thing, however, the Justice of God will never allow, for thereby the remaining life would also have to suffer with it and in the end be destroyed, life which for its own part swings in accordance with the Harmony of the work of Creation and thus in no way transgresses through a misuse of the creative forces in Creation

The All-Wisdom of God, however, in foreseeing all the paths of development, therefore set in advance the self-acting working of the Laws in Creation

These laws bear within them the demand that the consequences of responsibility be borne for everything that arises through the cause of one's own stirrings

Without responsibility for the use of the life force, existence could not be granted to the spiritual inhabitants in God's work of Creation

Therein is contained at the same time the possibility of purification as well as of strengthening in development

Men as a spiritual species therefore always bear the responsibility for every stirring within them and in their thoughts, however much for the greatest part they know nothing at all about it, if they suppress within themselves the sounding of the voice of their conscience

Both are therefore permanently connected with the life of every single human being

The immense creative freedom, which in the direction of the unfolding of good has no boundaries, at the same time carries the highest responsibility for the radiation of the slightest volition of the human inner being

And it is precisely in this that men have not yet learned to move in a more complete recognition, so that the blessing of the Love of God could be permanently connected with them

In long-standing immaturity free will is by many unknowingly, and alas, sometimes also knowingly misused for the ruthless assertion of a thousandfold wishes, which however, through the circumstances thus arising, in the end only disturb the whole harmony

Alas, there are people on earth who have made their own the misuse of the forces of life for a manner of acting which leads to ruin

Of these people there are not many, but they cause much harm

Beside them, however, there is a great host of the lukewarm, who in obedience to the aforesaid people long to shake off from themselves the responsibility for all their acting and thinking with the cry that something was commanded of them and that for the sake of obedience they had to cause harm and pain to their fellow men

These people endeavour to transfer their promissory note to others, who outwardly showed themselves to have fewer scruples about influencing the lives of their fellow men by restricting them, until out of it there arose a social order about which the conviction became established that it is thus right

This is called the world of men on earth, it is called politics, it is designated as the public interest, although it almost always goes directly against God's Commandments

Everyone who comes to earth is to some degree immersed in it, is in some way caught in it, similarly as a fly is stuck fast in an ingeniously woven web

And alas, whole billions of souls consent to it, without anyone reflecting upon where it all leads

To many it is welcome, for in it they can find a place of advancement for themselves even at the price of their own decline

They do so either out of the longing to gain a little of it for themselves as well, or merely because shortly after incarnation, already in their growing up, they let themselves be dragged along by it in exhaustion

“The world is simply like that and will not be otherwise” many assert

Of the unchangeability of the world speak all those who wish to appear wise before others

The masses surely want no more than “bread and circuses”, they smile

Upon the observed weaknesses of man is built the greater part of what is offered for money, or what is purchased by dull submission to the prevailing conditions on earth

It is handed on for so long that out of it there has formed a prison of the spirit in the earthly world of oppressive decrees and rules which create unfreedom

The conviction about an earthly world afflicted by the everlasting duration of human pettiness became established without any examination of whether it is thus also willed by the Creator

By the churches, which are a part of it, it is even explained that submission to human rules means humility before the throne of God

Such a thing, however, is a deliberate lie and can never stand before God's Laws

It is a denial of the very nature of the spiritual faculties in man

The human spark longs for the free unfolding of its powers and calls for a space filled with trust in which to prove that it is worthy to bear the designation of a human being

The Creator also does not demand and has never demanded of men submission to ways of acting which in their effect bring unfreedom, suffering and evil

All this was created only by the intellect and by those who, in connection with the fallen archangel, always knew how cunningly to arm themselves with earthly power, which they did not hesitate to use against their fellow men

Thereby, however, everything truly pure had to vanish, the childlike, warm-hearted perceiving had to vanish, and gradually there came a world full of prohibitions and restrictions

However manifold the forms and arrangements these restrictions had in the course of the centuries, one single aim was always striven for – the lacing up of the freedom of the spiritual spark in man through adaptation to the conceptions and wishes of those who have more influence than the rest

For that purpose there works always and solely the human intellect, never the pure, mature spirit

The intellect needs always to have everything under its dominion and, wherever it is even a little possible, then to gain for itself out of this dominion a position of exception through privileges and profits

Therefore a restriction was always cunningly applied from without to the inner spiritual spark, which at various degrees of maturity manifests itself in manifold ways and will thus always bring the need for the most living approach of men towards one another

For many particulars restrictions were formed which lop off freedom and undermine trust in the worth of man even in the most ordinary decisions

Indeed it goes as far as the most ridiculous forms, where on one side of the globe something is forbidden which on the other hemisphere is permitted

Often a certain conduct is even supported which elsewhere is regarded as the greatest transgression,

All over the earth it is possible to find many examples where within the borders of one state something is severely punished at which people only a little further away merely smile

A great part of human life is marked out in advance by a thousandfold restrictions, whereby an unfree, narrow path is formed which is at the same time confidently designated by those who devise such a thing as the right earthly way of life

This, however, is in contradiction to the very nature of the human spiritual species, which needs much experience for its development

And experiences can be gained only in the highest striving for the living recognition of the most varied differences which are connected with the path of spiritual maturing

Only in the experiencing of diversity do intuitive perception and compassion unfold, if harmony is sought always and under all circumstances

Therein lies freedom of decision and responsibility at the same time

Never can this work fall away, for it belongs to the development towards which men, in the longing to attain the fullness and perfection of their spiritual flame, go forth voluntarily

By voluntarily immersing themselves in the materialities all spiritual sparks accept this need for the full-valued tasting of life

But the intellect sets itself as an obstacle to this, for in its endeavour to maintain its influence it creates rules which have gradually taken away the most precious thing that the human spiritual spark needs to experience – trust

Trust was replaced by rules which for the greatest part were formed precisely upon the principle of an expression of distrust towards the individual

It is the result of the intellectuality of men who in panic and all-pervading distrust seek to create measures against the slightest deviations from the average

Through the projecting of the average into everything earthly, however, there arises a paralysing of all that stands even a little higher, and this only because distrust is set in advance towards every human being who does not fit into the established average

Thereby the blessed development willed by God is checked, which can grow strong precisely upon the basis of the freedom granted

The creative spirit is halted in the forming of the new, which always requires a free mind and conditions of trust

All this the intellect lops off and fetters

In the end out of all this there arose a web of endless laws and decrees which stifles every undertaking of men already at its beginning, in the sweeping imputation of dishonest intentions in all conduct

It oppresses like a straitjacket which does not permit even one single free breath

Mankind itself, in following Lucifer, chose the path of unfreedom and oppression

It has lost all the dignity of its own free decision about life and accepts dictate as a natural condition

Such a thing must have dreadful consequences for the pure spiritual perceiving which remains in man as a childlike, simple spark longing for joyful existence

It kills every freer thought and halts the influx of many higher helps through inspirations and through the life-giving flowings of dreams of a world filled with harmony

The outer material world goes against everything that bears within it the natural rejoicing in God's work of Creation

Therefore in many there burns ever more strongly the longing for liberation, when all that is bound up with distrust in the good volition of man will remain forever far away as a desperate time of the past

Liberation, however, does not mean only a freeing from the outer yoke which others have hung upon the neck of man

Liberation lies first of all in a complete extrication from the hitherto dogmatic conceptions about the meaning of earthly life, which constrict the world of thought like a prison into which souls incarnate again and again who at the same time long to advance further

Liberation is closely bound up with the spiritual awakening of the inner spark in man

Anew there needs to blaze up that inner power which bears within it the imprint of the ancient joyfulness that it received in the gardens of the child souls high above the earthly world

And precisely in those gardens there is, as a self-evident part of the bliss there, something which here on earth has already been entirely uprooted

Trust

Trust which rests upon the peace-filled calm arising from the knowledge of the working of the Justice of God for everyone and in everything

Trust which affords space for the unfolding of the powers of every spiritual spark, so that it may grow stronger and gain in its own self-assurance

God's Laws bear within them the promise of peacefulness and of trust, however much there is permanently perceived in them, with inexorable consistency, the fulfilling Justice of the Law of Reciprocal Action

In the knowledge of the Laws of God working in Creation there is therefore always contained the trust that the right path and the right place will be found for every inhabitant

For the developing spiritual also, that is, for human activity, exactly the same conditions apply

The bestowing of trust is an inseparable part of the Justice of God, in which the Loving-kindness of God is also always reflected

And precisely here on earth there is permanently created a tension prevailing between the granting of trust and the expression of distrust

In trust everything pure grows and gains strength

At the same time trust bears the possibility of damage or of injury on the part of him who may yet turn aside from pure volition

But here precisely, in the pure attunement of the majority of mankind, there are to hold good for all happening the accelerated and strengthened effects of the Laws of God, which through the reciprocal action of the consequences will in the human spiritual spark always only support the will towards a higher consciousness of one's own responsibility

And this state is to come about

In the growing transparency of the world of thought the course of the effects of the Laws of Creation will be accelerated

It will come even there where today it appears impossible

But the growing transparency of the world of thought cannot be attained without the renewed granting of trust among men towards one another

Where trust is granted in the right way, there the flame of pure enthusiasm in the matter concerned blazes up, for in the inner being of man there resounds the ancient sound of the gardens of the child souls, where the longing to gain the fullness of trust from God is the abiding wish of the sparks awakened to consciousness

And this state is now also to come to earth, at least in a reflection

After millennia of enduring distrust among men towards one another, and also of distrust in oneself and in one's own abilities, which is a part of the thinking of a great number of people, there is to be formed a world of thought which will bear within it in the first place the forming of forms of trust

It is one of the most difficult parts of the transformations which will now come upon earth, for by the sickness of distrust absolutely every human being is afflicted

In the thoughts of nine people out of ten there is always first distrust in any matter in which a step of granting friendship or co-operation with other people is to be taken, and this especially where people unknown to one another meet

But it has gone so far that even in the closest relationships in marriage or between parents and children distrust prevails

Out of fear of the misuse of openness and sincerity, or perhaps in matters of responsibility of a working kind, distrust towards one's fellow men is always formed first of all in man

And alas, in part this is justified today, for in the distortion of the meaning of human life on earth much has collapsed which should always have borne within it, as an inseparable part of human existence, the concept of personal honour

Personal honour, that is, pride in the personal worth of man, in his own word, in his promise, or in the purity of his name, has become a long-past echo of lost chivalry and of the lost virtues of pure womanhood

Thereby of course the concept of trust was also shaken, for where a shaking came about through the betrayal of a promise, or through the carrying out of some base deed, there always remains a long-lasting wound upon the soul of man

But in the same way the expression of distrust causes an obstacle in the ascent of every human being, since of human laws and decrees the greatest part is formed with the assumption that every man is irresponsible, or that his intentions are dishonest and that he is one who always plans only some mischief, deceit or lie

In such a state of the world of thought it is not possible to develop healthily and purely, however great the determination, or even the resolve, in many souls coming to earth that they wish to take part in the change for the better

Therefore there now comes the great spiritual enlightenment which will blow away from the very foundations the hitherto existing disposition of thought of the world of men

And simultaneously with this blowing away of the old, however, there is to be formed already in advance a new disposition of the outlook upon life, which will be freer and more mature than it is today

It is to be worked at already now

Everyone who is aware of the reach of his thoughts should therein contribute his share of life forces and abilities to this forming of a new world

He is to begin with himself, within his own reach, in which it is given to him to work naturally

And there is very much that can be changed at once, without the need to wait for great events

For example, there is the value of a given word or of a promise

Also the forming of the value of one's present earthly name as a shield of honesty and of a just approach towards other people

It is truly everything that is now to change

And precisely the concept of the liberation of the spirit is that which needs to begin to find in man an entirely different dimension than it has had until now

It is fitting to begin with it already today

Every delay brings only a prolongation of the suffering that has been

Taken to its conclusion, there are truly only very few people who would voluntarily wish to remain in a state which may be called a paralysing of the full value of existence

Therefore, up to a new disposition of all thought forms

Only in movement lies the promise of change
