It Will Come Like a Stroke of Lightning

Exhausted by its severance from all that comes out of the Light, mankind burdens the already so weary planet Earth with its growing spiritual decline

The outward movement of the gross material world of men does indeed seem to be the same as it used to be before, yet in the world of thoughts the confusion grows with unprecedented speed

The wheel of society does still turn, but in reality this movement is now no more than a desperate stumbling before the final fall

Ever more visible is the tearing apart of the luminous threads which could otherwise mediate the strengthening and the refreshment out of the spiritual heights, so greatly needed at this time for the present world of men

It creeps and shifts along in the direction that has been set, at the end of which waits the collision with the announced wall of Light

The wall draws nearer, and with its kind of radiation it already now strikes into the world and changes it

After all that has been experienced up to now in the past months and years, every effort to bring the world back into its former tracks, to whose glitter the greatest part of men had grown accustomed, appears as a striving hopeless from the outset

Merely out of momentum do the everyday happenings in the human world keep running on repeatedly from day to day and from week to week

And over every event being born there already spreads in advance the pressure of the calculating intellect, which is joined with spiritual wretchedness like two dark sisters that can never bring healing and peace

These wretched sisters strive to seize the hearts of men even at the last moment

With their shadow they cover the view of a thought-sister of another and brighter kind, whose name is the Hope of God's Help

But most men do not see it, and so they are not in the least aware that together with the whole world they too as individuals are already plunging downwards at a fearful speed

A dense fog settles upon the free movement of thought everywhere where only a short while ago there still dwelt a certain striving for liveliness and clarity in the recognising of connections

The plain, sound reasoning of the countryman about the fundamental things of life is changing, and the greatest part of earthly men welcome it in the belief that what is happening is progress

Contradictions in thoughts and in deeds have become part of everyday life

Only a truly small number are those who struggle to hold fast to the vantage points which formerly came to them through the Grail Message

Small is the number of those to whom the most precious lifeline was given in the time of upheaving changes on Earth

But even of these few, a part have in the end already given up their striving for effective working and, in a rigid state of immobility like a startled creature, they wait for the Judgment

In the presentiment of the grave happening drawing near out of God's wrath, these men, still at least in part purer in their inner being, have petrified into a strange rigidity which cuts them off entirely from the needed power of the Light that comes to those who bear within themselves a fervent longing to help others

Without connection with the strengthening influxes of the Light, even those who could help powerfully in this turbulent time then remain alone in uncertainty and fear

Thus the men who hold the gift of the Truth in their hands have become a grey mass lacking the inner will to rouse themselves courageously to a visible pure life directed towards the Light

In their own inner chaos they are for the time being unusable for serious service to the Light

There is lacking the certainty needed for stepping forward towards that pure enthusiasm for life, inwardly irradiated by the spirit, which vibrates in God's grace and protection

Thus over whole continents there still prevails for the most part only a paralysing hopelessness instead of the expected accord with the universe

But this state brought upon the Earth by human volition works with its influence to rob of freedom also a part of the animistic servants, who through the force of the wrong radiation of human volition were drawn into a web of dense threads of hopelessness and of weakening in their working

Calling upwards, these animistic beings urgently begged for help out of the heights of their home, out of Valhalla

And now this help, thus entreated, is coming, to bring the all-embracing fulfilment of a reversing action upon the hitherto doings of the human species on this Earth

All the animistic forces of Valhalla have been released so that, at the command of the Ray of Parzival, together with the accelerated working of the Laws of Creation, they may bring justice and liberation to all the life which until now on this Earth has had to suffer under the influence of a mistaken humanity

The Power rolling down into the materialities of Ephesus out of all the parts of Valhalla and of the gardens of Asgard now makes use of this time following the filling of the Grail, which descends each year also in a gracious weaving of the animistic kind as a strengthening for all the animistic servants directly bound to the gross material places in the individual parts of the universe

To this happening is allotted the time known as the summer Solstice, which is now coming upon the northern hemisphere of the Earth

But the concept of “southern and northern hemisphere” will also soon be a thing of the past, for together with the strokes of the great animistic servants a shifting of several parts of the Earth draws near

All that is contained for the fundamental changes in this hitherto so dense and immobile world of gross matter draws near

And it will come like a stroke of lightning

Unexpectedly and violently

Precisely in this will also lie the opportunity of deliverance for a part of the human spirits, for many can be awakened now only by a stroke of an unexpected kind

It will not however be a deliverance bringing soothing gentleness and kindness towards the human race, but it will bring an unsparing urgency of movement of so high a degree that many men will beg for the smallest measure of forbearance in the coming animistic working

The first stroke of Valhalla approaches through the universe, resembling a gale that drives mighty clouds made ready for the discharge of the heavy hammer of Thonorun

A stroke grave in its content draws near, to bring liberation to the little animistic life and also an awakening into the world of men

But after the first stroke there will come ever again further and further strokes, and no time for drawing breath will be granted until the curse of that well-known human volition to “know everything better” has been broken

The Wisdom of God, through the administration and the carrying out of all the happening by the Ray of Parzival, which draws nearer to this Earth with every day, has graciously entrusted this work precisely to the animistic, for unlike the spiritual it bears within itself the harshness and the inflexibility which are now urgently needed for the awakening and the deliverance of many men out of the already mentioned, almost mortal sleep of the spirit

It has already been spoken of several times that it is precisely the animistic which will become that extended arm of God's working in the fulfilment of the Laws of Creation also in the gross materiality of this universe, belonging to the world-part Ephesus

But although it has been spoken of several times, it is still covered by a veil of non-understanding, and thereby it cannot mediate the needed power which may issue solely out of a full understanding of the connections

For help in comprehending to be able to come, men need to occupy themselves with it more deeply

Therefore man's power of thought and of spirit is to be devoted to it, because it is more important than all the manifestations of the chaos of human society, which in their outward variations are in reality always of the same foundation

Leave aside at last the spiritual immaturity of millions of men who try to convince others of their abilities and their skills in leading other people

These abilities and skills, however, they do not have and never had, for together with the spiritual awakening all that was needful was lacking in them

The men who have received the knowledge of the Truth are, in the most living work of their spirit, to occupy themselves with truly grave matters, such as the manifesting of the Will of God in all the great and also in the smallest happenings

Only they themselves need to make in this the needed contribution of their spiritual movement by recognising how the course of the happening will finally be set, bringing that “New” upon this world which demands of men a complete rebirth in the spirit

In this lies the essence of everything

For the “New” and the “Rebirth” mean, in other words, that return so greatly needed by man into complete accord with the other parts of the work of Creation, which always vibrate wholly together with the Laws of Creation

The essence is therefore the inner setting of the spirit towards the right striving for accord with God's blessed weaving in the universe of Creation

This inner striving is to be part of every moment as something entirely self-evident, of which man no longer needs to think at all, because he already lives in it wholly

But before this comes about, the spirit needs to occupy itself with it strongly, and precisely also through thoughts, so that the hitherto ingrained setting of human thinking, which has lasted here for millennia, may be transformed

This work of the spirit is that rebirth which at the same time issues at once out of the volition of the spirit and sends radiation into the surrounding space

The radiation reflects the attunement of the spirit and bears within itself the setting of its strongest volition

That is why so much has lately been spoken about radiation and radiating

The radiation bearing within itself the expression of the spirit's volition is what will be struck in that first stroke from the side of the animistic servants of Valhalla

With every single earthly person this radiation will, in the automatic manner of the Law of Movement, pour over into its own visible manifestation

With each one the manifestation is entirely personal, unique and incomparable with that of any other of men

This is because the radiation of the spirit joins with what he himself has laid up in his karmic threads out of the earlier time of wandering through the Subsequent Creation, and thereby it is understandable that in the fulfilling of the Justice of God the manifestation will be entirely unique with each one

The Justice of God will go the way of the woven threads and will judge them in the most living manner, precisely in connection with the set direction of the spirit's inner volition at the given moment

Under the pressure of the Light the attainment of a state of redemption will be enforced for all that lay in the threads of the fate woven by man, and which will therefore, under the kind of the spirit's present volition, be driven towards the attainment of accord with the Laws of Creation

And this straightening into accord, or also this bowing beneath the effects of the Laws of Creation, will now come about with a suddenness of swiftness which in many cases may be likened to a stroke of lightning

As when an immense force descends out of a reservoir gathered in the clouds, just so will it come about for the individual person

Under the suddenly heightened pressure everything will be set before the important decision for the right finding of accord with the Laws of Creation in all the affairs of life

It must be remarked here that only one single right accord with the Laws of Creation holds good, and not an accord with the way in which men picture the effects of these Laws

Men's conceptions of the Justice of God and also of the working of the Laws of Creation are greatly distorted, for they project into them in strong measure, and with excessive weight, their current earthly affairs

That which torments them, or on the contrary fills them with contentment, is for man, in his all too strong earthly perceiving, bound up with the current happenings that take place only in the gross material world

Not seldom there is even contained in this a complete dependence upon the conditions of this one single earthly life

Success in the earthly often leads to indolence, and failure then to discontent, to anger, or on the contrary to complete brokenness

This however stands in complete contradiction to the gift of the spirit's free volition graciously given by God

The spirit is not to be robbed of freedom by the conditions of one single life, because his path is far greater

He is to receive his time of earthly life as a great opportunity for putting to use the good which he bears in his inner being, however varied the outward conditions may be

Alas, men derive the importances for their path of the spirit from the small affairs of this one life, in which certain abilities and a certain standing have fallen to them

That they thereby degrade the worth of their spiritual inner being they do not realise, because the short-lived outward happening of the earthly world is more important to them than the values of goodness and of nobility of character which their spirit carries onward into the further continuation of the path to the spiritual home in the luminous planes of Creation

Thereby, however, they remain unfree, for the power in the spirit which is destined for truly great capacities of making their inner flame of goodness luminous they squander upon occupying themselves with secondary, petty things which in reality often do not concern their path at all

Nevertheless precious spiritual power is squandered upon outward happenings which in any case cannot easily change until first one's own inner transformation has come about, or perhaps in addition also the inner transformation of others

Men want to change the outer world in its outward forms, but to the ordering of their inner being and to the attaining of the peacefulness and the becoming luminous of the spirit, so that it might unite with the Light and with all the helps coming out of the Light, they often devote in true earnestness not even the smallest part of their day

Ever again power is only frittered away into thousands of wishes about trifles, until the most important thing, that strong direction of the spirit, is entirely dissipated and lost from sight

The Laws of Creation, however, follow primarily the fundamental direction of the spirit

If this direction is right and inwardly strongly set towards the Light and towards the good, then precisely in a single stroke all the rest can be burned away by the power of the influx of the Light and thereby cleansed for a new foundation

If a person will not cling to this or that outward thing, then he can become truly free in the single moment of the influx of the mighty Power out of the Light

Alas, there is however far too much to which men cling, and above all far too much which they themselves mistakenly regard as a necessity of the fulfilment of the Justice of God, in the sense of settling their earthly quarrels of life with other people

But that surely needs long since to stand upon new ground, loosened by fervent forgiveness towards one's fellow men

Only then can there be talk of the liberation of the individual in accord with the Laws of Creation

And only thereby will he fulfil that condition of not clinging to the pettinesses formed by frictions between men, nor to wishes of the material kind

The Laws of God are great and at the same time simple and translucently clear in the essence of their effects according to the inner volition which radiates exactly and clearly into the threads of fate at each particular moment

And accordingly the great Justice of God works, because that radiation which steps forth as the manifestation of the spirit's volition is for it the sole standard, as the strongest kind of threads appointed for judging

Upon that men should therefore concentrate all their forces, so that the pure will of their free spirit may burn in them lastingly

Towards this state too the stroke that is to come will be directed

If it does not find in the inner being of man the ground for a voluntary liberation, that is for the possibility of bringing his inner attunement into accord with the other vibrations of pure life in the work of Creation while there is still time, in a certain kindly forbearance of the animistic servants in their application of God's Laws, then the stroke will bring the complete severing and burning away of all that is secondary, so that the essence may step forth of what the fundamental direction of the spirit is

There will then remain only the innermost volition of the spirit, stripped of all ballast

And this holds in such a way that the innermost direction can be only twofold – either towards the Light, towards the good and the pure, or away from the Light, into the darkness towards the evil

So simple it is, and the happening now set in motion will bring in this a fundamental turning-point, which will draw near with the swiftness of an unexpected stroke of lightning

And as it is in the case of the individual, so it is also with mankind as a whole

And since precisely the severance of the whole of mankind from harmony and co-operation with the animistic weaving in nature is too great, this acceleration of the happening will bring events which will enforce the setting aside of man's influence upon the world of nature, so that the little animistic beings working in the plants, the little animistic beings in the elements and also the animals may be set free, everywhere where it is required by the animistic servants out of a higher principle that the animals remain free in their liberty and their naturalness

And again many men will not know what they are to picture by this

And yet here too everything is simple and easy to grasp

Everything in nature will serve man only in the case that in his wishes he stands rightly and purely in accord with the willed course of the happening

In his other wishes he will with unmistakable clarity be cut off from success in his volition

It will not however be at once, from hour to hour, nor even from day to day, for the power to refuse the influence of the wrong volition on man's part needs gradually to unite with the working of the little animistic servants, who until now have suffered greatly under the presumption of the human will acting in thoughts above them

It will bring a becoming luminous even to a certain translucency, as when after a storm the air is cleansed of its sultriness, or as when, after the surface has risen, the stirred-up silt in the water settles again

It will be quite striking how strongly the world of nature will now withdraw from the designs of human volition, which will in the end remain isolated and will collapse together with all those who continue to cling to their own will, led to it by the pressure of the intellect and by its proud presumption that it knows everything best

This state is drawing towards a fundamental change, which in many cases will come swiftly and unexpectedly, much as it is with a stroke of lightning

Therefore let everyone be prepared in his inner being for the time when it draws near and breaks loose above this Earth

But all of it will be only for the liberation of the striving of the animistic servants in nature, and for the liberation and the raising up of the pure human spiritual which opens itself rightly to it
